1. Mapping the Information Journey: Unveiling the Documentation Experience of Software Developers in China

Abstract

This research delves into understanding the behaviors and characteristics of Chinese developers in relation to their use of technical documentation, which is crucial for creating high-quality developer documentation. We conducted interviews with 25 software developers and surveyed 177 participants, using the preliminary interview findings to inform the survey design. Our approach encompassed traditional user research methods, including persona and user journey mapping, to develop typical personas and information journeys based on the qualitative data from the interviews and quantitative results from the survey. Our results revealed distinct characteristics and differences between junior and senior developers in terms of their use of technical documentation, broadly categorized into personality traits, learning habits, and working habits. We observed that the information journey of both groups typically encompasses four stages: Exploration, Understanding, Practice, and Application. Consequently, we created two distinct personas and information journey maps to represent these two developer groups. Our findings highlight that developers prioritize the content, organization, and maintenance aspects of documentation. 9. Study on Preparation and Wear Resistance of Aluminum Nitride (AlN)Coating on the Surface of ADC12 Aluminum Alloy

Abstract

In order to improve the wear resistance of ADC12 aluminum alloy material，a multi-functional ion nitriding furnace was used to perform ion nitriding on the surface of ADC12 aluminum alloy to prepare aluminum nitride (AlN) coatings.The phase structure and micro-morphology of AlN coating were characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope.The adhesion between AlN coating and substrate，friction coefficient，specific wear rate and friction and wear mechanism were studied by WS-2005 coating adhesion automatic scratch tester，WTM-2E controlled atmosphere micro friction and wear tester and 3D optical microscope.Results showed that the phase structure of AlN coating was face-centered cubic，and no diffraction peak of Al2O3was found.With the increase of nitriding temperature and nitriding time，the thickness of AlN coating gradually increased，the film-based adhesion of AlN coatings increased first and then decreased；Under the condition of nitriding at 510 ℃for 4 h，the optimum adhesion of the film base was 56.60 N.Compared to the matrix，after the conducting friction and wear tests for 10 minutes under loading 1 N，the friction coefficient and specific wear rate of AlN coating samples decreased.The thicker the surface AlN coating，the more significant the wear reduction effect were.The aluminum nitride (AlN) coating obtained from ion nitriding on the surface of ADC12 aluminum alloy had excellent wear resistance.

20. Polar Vortices in Relaxor Ferroelectric Ceramics for High-Efficiency Capacitive Energy Storage

Abstract

Polar vortices are predominantly observed within the confined ferroelectric films and the ferroelectric/paraelectric superlattices. This raises the intriguing question of whether polar vortices can form within relaxor ferroelectric ceramics and subsequently contribute to their energy storage performances. Here, we incorporate 10 mol % CaSnO3into the 0.7NaNbO3-0.3Sr0.7Bi0.2TiO3matrix, yielding a coexistence of phases: 48.8% orthorhombic P21/ma, 49.1% tetragonal P4bm, and 2.1% tetragonal P42/mnmSnO2, which is confirmed by the combination of X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The ceramic features a pronounced core–shell structure with the shell region rich in stripe nanoscale domains of the P21/maphase and the core region consisting of polar nanoregions deficient in the P21/maphase, forming polar vortices. Consequently, the ceramic achieves an impressive recoverable energy storage density of 6.83 J cm–3and an exceptional efficiency of 95.7% at a high breakdown strength of 750 kV cm–1, along with superior stability in frequency, temperature, and cycling. These results not only offer a viable approach for developing high-performance energy storage ceramics through the controlled formation of polar vortices but also offer the potential for direct electric-field control of polar vortices for high-speed data processing and storage.

Abstract

The practical application of aqueous zinc‐ion batteries (ZIBs) indeed faces challenges primarily attributed to the inherent side reactions and dendrite growth associated with the Zn anode. In the present work, N‐Methylmethanesulfonamide (NMS) is introduced to optimize the transfer, desolvation, and reduction of Zn2+, achieving highly stable and reversible Zn plating/stripping. The NMS molecule can substitute one H2O molecule in the solvation structure of hydrated Zn2+ and be preferentially chemisorbed on the Zn surface to protect Zn anode against corrosion and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), thereby suppressing byproducts formation. Additionally, a robust N‐rich organic and inorganic (ZnS and ZnCO3) hybrid solid electrolyte interphase is in situ generated on Zn anode due to the decomposition of NMS, resulting in enhanced Zn2+ transport kinetics and uniform Zn2+ deposition. Consequently, aqueous cells with the NMS achieve a long lifespan of 2300 h at 1 mA cm−2 and 1 mAh cm−2, high cumulative plated capacity of 3.25 Ah cm−2, and excellent reversibility with an average coulombic efficiency (CE) of 99.7 % over 800 cycles. Abstract

The energy loss (Eloss) caused by inefficient charge transfer and large energy level offset at the buried interface can easily restrict the performance of p-i-n perovskite solar cells (PVSCs). In this study, the utilization of poly-TPD and P3CT-N as a dual-hole transporting layer (HTLs) was implemented in a sequential manner. This approach aimed to improve the charge transfer efficiency of the HTL and mitigate charge recombination at the interface between the HTL and PVK. The results showed that this strategy also could achieve more suitable energy levels, improve the quality of the perovskite film layer, and ultimately enhance the device's stability. IPVSCs employing the dual-HTLs approach exhibited the highest power conversion efficiency of 19.85%, and the open-circuit voltage increased to 1.09 V from 1.00 V. This study offers a straightforward and efficient approach to boost the device performance by minimizing Eloss and reducing the buried interfacial defects. The findings underscore the potential of employing a dual-HTL strategy as a promising pathway for further advancements in PVSCs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
