Abstract

As a core component of the powertrain system of Electric Logistics Vehicles (ELVs), the gearbox is crucial for ensuring the reliability and stability of ELV operations. Traditional fault diagnosis methods for gearboxes primarily rely on the analysis of vibration signals during operation. This paper presents research on diagnosing gear tooth wear faults in ELV powertrains using motor current signals. Firstly, an experimental test platform was constructed based on the structural principle of the powertrain of ELV models. Subsequently, a pure electric light truck powertrain gearbox with tooth wear was tested. Time–frequency domain analysis, amplitude analysis, ANOVA analysis, kurtosis analysis, and zero−crossing points analysis were used to analyze the U−phase current of the motor connected to the gearbox to study the characteristics of the phase current of the drive motor after tooth wear. The results indicate that while the time–frequency domain characteristics of the U−phase currents are not significantly altered by tooth wear faults, the amplitude, variance, and kurtosis of the current increase with the severity of the wear. Conversely, the number of zero−crossing points decreases. These findings provide valuable insights into new methodologies for diagnosing faults in ELV powertrain systems, potentially enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of troubleshooting processes. 20. Superior Charge Transport in Ni-Diamine Conductive MOFs

Abstract

Two-dimensional conductive metal–organic frameworks (2D cMOFs) are an emerging class of crystalline van der Waals layered materials with tunable porosity and high electrical conductivity. They have been used in a variety of applications, such as energy storage and conversion, chemiresistive sensing, and quantum information. Although designing new conductive 2D cMOFs and studying their composition/structure–property relationships have attracted significant attention, there are still very few examples of 2D cMOFs that exhibit room-temperature electrical conductivity above 1 S cm–1, the value exhibited by activated carbon, a well-known porous and conductive material that serves in myriad applications. When such high conductivities are achieved, Ni-diamine linkages are often involved, yet Ni-diamine MOFs remain difficult to access. Here, we report two new 2D cMOFs made through ortho-diamine connections: M3(HITT)2(M = Ni, Cu; HITT = 2,3,7,8,12,13-hexaiminotetraazanaphthotetraphene). The electrical conductivity of Ni3(HITT)2reaches 4.5 S cm–1at 298 K, whereas the conductivity of Cu3(HITT)2spans from 0.05 (2Cu+Cu2+) to 10–6(3Cu2+) upon air oxidation, much lower than that of Ni3(HITT)2. Spectroscopic analysis reveals that Ni3(HITT)2exhibits significantly stronger in-plane π-d conjugation and higher density of charge carriers compared to Cu3(HITT)2, accounting for the higher electrical conductivity of Ni3(HITT)2. Cu2+/Cu+mixed valency modulates the energy level and carrier density of Cu3(HITT)2, allowing for a variation of electrical conductivity over 4 orders of magnitude. This work provides a deeper understanding of the influence of metal nodes on electrical conductivity and confirms ortho-diamine linkers as privileged among ligands for 2D cMOFs.

Abstract

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with ordered π structures are very promising in porous light‐emitting materials. However, most of these COFs are either poor in luminescence or lack of water‐stability. Herein, a series of isostructural D−A vinylene‐linked COFs were constructed based a new D2h symmetric linker 1,4‐bis(4,6‐dimethyl‐1,3,5‐triazin‐2‐yl)benzene (TMTA) with high crystallinity, comparative high surface area and excellent chemical/thermal stability. Impressively, their adsorption and luminescence wavelength vary with respect to the density of π‐systems in the electron‐donating group, which constitute the foundation for molecular engineering the luminescent properties of vinylene‐linked COFs. The DFT calculations further established the relationship between the luminescence properties and the donor electronic structure. Moreover, one of representative COF named FZU‐203 showed inspiring applications in bioimaging, which may further provide strategic guidance for the use of vinylene‐linked COFs as fluorescent nanoprobes in non‐invasive medical diagnosis and visualization therapy of tumors. Abstract

The impact of tropical Pacific sea surface temperature (SST) biases on the deterministic skill of the Unified Forecast System (UFS) coupled model Prototype 5 is evaluated during weeks 1–4 of the forecast. The evaluation is limited to the contiguous United States (CONUS) and two seasons: boreal summer (June–September) and winter (December–March). The tropical SST in the UFS model is warmer than in observations and bias patterns show seasonal dependence especially in the central and western Pacific. During boreal summer, the bias is located north of the equator whereas in winter, the bias is located in the Southern Hemisphere. A regression analysis indicates a significant relationship between these SST biases and the biases in the surface temperature and precipitation over the CONUS along with midtroposphere large-scale circulation and North Pacific storm-track activity. The SST biases affect the biases in other fields from week 1 of the forecast and the impact becomes stronger as the lead time increases to week 4. The impact of SST biases on the biases in other fields show a qualitative relationship to the patterns of forecast errors of the fields. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
