1. Roles of the scalar $f_0(500)$ and $f_0(980)$ in the process $D^0\to \pi^0\pi^0 \bar{K}^0$

Abstract: Motivated by the near-threshold enhancement and the dip structure around 1~GeV in the $\pi^0\pi^0$ invariant mass distribution of the process $D^0\to \pi^0\pi^0\bar{K}^0$ observed by the CLEO Collaboration, we have investigated this process by taking into account the contribution from the $S$-wave pseudoscalar meson-pseudoscalar meson interactions within the chiral unitary approach, and also the one from the intermediate resonance $K^{*}(892)$. Our results are in good agreement with the CLEO measurements, which implies that, the near-threshold enhancement near the $\pi^0\pi^0$ threshold is mainly due to the contributions from the scalar meson $f_0(500)$ and the intermediate $K^*$, and the cusp structure around 1~GeV in the $\pi^0\pi^0$ invariant mass distribution should be associated with the scalar meson $f_0(980)$., Comment: 6 pages, 5 figures

2. How to unravel the nature of the $\Sigma^*(1430) (1/2^-)$ state from correlation functions

Abstract: We calculate the correlation functions for the $\bar K^0 p, \pi^+ \Sigma^0, \pi^0 \Sigma^+, \pi^+ \Lambda$, and $\eta \Sigma^+$ states, which in the chiral unitary approach predict an excited $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$ state at the $\bar K N$ threshold, recently observed by the Belle collaboration. Once this is done, we tackle the inverse problem of seeing how much information one can obtain from these correlation functions. With the resampling method, one can determine the scattering parameters of all the channels with relative precision by means of the analysis in a general framework, and find a clear cusp-like structure corresponding to the $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$ in the different amplitudes at the $\bar{K}N$ threshold., Comment: 10 pages, 4 figures, 7 tables

3. Toward Time-Continuous Data Inference in Sparse Urban CrowdSensing

Abstract: Mobile Crowd Sensing (MCS) is a promising paradigm that leverages mobile users and their smart portable devices to perform various real-world tasks. However, due to budget constraints and the inaccessibility of certain areas, Sparse MCS has emerged as a more practical alternative, collecting data from a limited number of target subareas and utilizing inference algorithms to complete the full sensing map. While existing approaches typically assume a time-discrete setting with data remaining constant within each sensing cycle, this simplification can introduce significant errors, especially when dealing with long cycles, as real-world sensing data often changes continuously. In this paper, we go from fine-grained completion, i.e., the subdivision of sensing cycles into minimal time units, towards a more accurate, time-continuous completion. We first introduce Deep Matrix Factorization (DMF) as a neural network-enabled framework and enhance it with a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN-DMF) to capture temporal correlations in these finer time slices. To further deal with the continuous data, we propose TIME-DMF, which captures temporal information across unequal intervals, enabling time-continuous completion. Additionally, we present the Query-Generate (Q-G) strategy within TIME-DMF to model the infinite states of continuous data. Extensive experiments across five types of sensing tasks demonstrate the effectiveness of our models and the advantages of time-continuous completion., Comment: 11 pages, 11 figures

4. Theoretical study of the open-flavor tetraquark $T_{c\bar{s}}(2900)$ in the process $\bar{B}_s^0 \to K^0 D^0 \pi^0$

Abstract: Recently, the LHCb Collaboration has measured two decay processes $B^0\to\bar{D}^0D_s^+\pi^-$ and $B^+\to D^-D_s^+\pi^+$ related to isospin symmetry, where two new open-flavor tetraquark states $T_{c\bar{s}}(2900)^0$ and $T_{c\bar{s}}(2900)^{++}$ that belong to an isospin triplet were observed in the $D_s^+\pi^-$ and $D_s^+\pi^+$ invariant mass distributions. In this work, we have investigated the validity of the process $\bar{B}_s^0\to K^0D^0\pi^0$ as the promising process to confirm the existence of $T_{c\bar{s}}(2900)^0$ resonance. Taking into account the tetraquark state $T_{c\bar{s}}(2900)$, as well as intermediate resonances $K^*(892)$, $K_0^*(1430)$, and $K_2^*(1430)$, it has been shown that a clear peak of the open-flavor tetraquark $T_{c\bar{s}}(2900)$ appears in the $K^0D^0$ invariant mass distribution of the process $\bar{B}_s^0\to K^0D^0\pi^0$, which could be tested by future experiments., Comment: 10 pages, 10 figures, comments are welcome!

5. Review of the low-lying excited baryons $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$

Abstract: Strong empirical and phenomenological indications exist for large sea-quark admixtures in the low-lying excited baryons. Investigating the low-lying excited baryon $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$ is important to determine the nature of the low-lying excited baryons. We review the experimental and theoretical progress on the studies of the $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$. Although several candidates have received intensive discussions, such as $\Sigma(1620)$ and $\Sigma(1480)$, their existence needs further confirmation. Following the prediction of the unquenched quark models for the $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$, many theoretical works suggested the existence of these states in various processes. Future experimental measurements could shed light on the existence of the low-lying excited $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$ state., Comment: 8 pages, 2 figures

6. Theoretical study of $N(1535)$ and $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$ in the Cabibbo-favored process $\Lambda_c^+ \to p \bar{K}^0\eta$

Abstract: Motivated by the recent experimental measurements, we have investigated the Cabibbo-favored process $\Lambda_c^+ \to p \bar{K}^0\eta$, where the $N(1535)$ resonance is dynamically generated from the $S$-wave pseudoscalar meson-octet baryon interactions within the chiral unitary approach. The contributions from the intermediate $N(1650)$ and the predicted low-lying baryon $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$ are also considered. In addition, a Breit-Wigner amplitude for the $N(1535)$ resonance is checked. By comparing with the measured $\eta p$, $\bar{K}^0 \eta$, and $p \bar{K}^0$ invariant mass squared distributions, our results support the interpretation of $N(1535)$ as a dynamically generated state. Furthermore, we demonstrate that, with the contribution from $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$ taken into account, the calculated invariant mass spectrum agrees with the Belle measurements. Future precise measurements of the $\Lambda_c^+\to p \bar{K}^0\eta$ process can further elucidate the existence of the low-lying baryon $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$., Comment: 9 pages, 5 figures, comments are welcome!

Abstract: We explore the bound neutrons decay into invisible particles (e.g., $n\rightarrow 3 \nu$ or $nn \rightarrow 2 \nu$) in the JUNO liquid scintillator detector. The invisible decay includes two decay modes: $ n \rightarrow { inv} $ and $ nn \rightarrow { inv} $. The invisible decays of $s$-shell neutrons in $^{12}{\rm C}$ will leave a highly excited residual nucleus. Subsequently, some de-excitation modes of the excited residual nuclei can produce a time- and space-correlated triple coincidence signal in the JUNO detector. Based on a full Monte Carlo simulation informed with the latest available data, we estimate all backgrounds, including inverse beta decay events of the reactor antineutrino $\bar{\nu}_e$, natural radioactivity, cosmogenic isotopes and neutral current interactions of atmospheric neutrinos. Pulse shape discrimination and multivariate analysis techniques are employed to further suppress backgrounds. With two years of exposure, JUNO is expected to give an order of magnitude improvement compared to the current best limits. After 10 years of data taking, the JUNO expected sensitivities at a 90% confidence level are $\tau/B( n \rightarrow { inv} ) > 5.0 \times 10^{31} \, {\rm yr}$ and $\tau/B( nn \rightarrow { inv} ) > 1.4 \times 10^{32} \, {\rm yr}$., Comment: 28 pages, 7 figures, 4 tables

Abstract: Recently, the Belle and LHCb Collaborations have measured the $\Lambda^+_c \to p K^- \pi^+$ decay and reported the $p K^-$ invariant mass distribution, which shows a clear cusp structure around the $\eta \Lambda$ threshold. In this work, we have analyzed this process by considering the triangle mechanism and the $S$-wave pseudoscalar meson-octet baryon interactions within the chiral unitary approach, which dynamically generate the $\Lambda(1670)$. Our results are in good agreement with the Belle measurements, which implies that the cusp structure around $\eta\Lambda$ threshold could be associated with the $\Lambda(1670)$ with the molecular nature.

9. Evidence of the low-lying baryon $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$ in the process $\Lambda_c^+\to \eta\pi^+\Lambda$

Abstract: Motivated by the Belle measurements of the process $\Lambda_c^+\to \eta\pi^+\Lambda$, we investigate this process by considering the contributions from the $\Lambda(1670)$, $a_0(980)$, and $\Sigma(1385)$. In addition, we also consider the predicted low-lying baryon $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$. Our results involving the $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$ are favored by fitting to the Belle data of the $\eta\Lambda$ and $\pi^+\Lambda$ invariant mass distributions. Furthermore, we predict the $\eta\pi^+$ invariant mass distribution and the angular distribution $d\Gamma/d{\rm cos}\theta$, which are significantly different depending on whether or not the contribution from the $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$ is considered. Finally, we show that, with the contribution from the $\Sigma^*(1/2^-)$, the calculated Dalizt plot agrees with the Belle measurements. 10. Unveiling the $a_0(1710)$ nature in the process $J/\psi \to {\bar{K}}^0K^+\rho^- $

Abstract: We have investigated the process $J/\psi \to {\bar{K}}^0K^+\rho^-$ by taking into account the $S$-wave ${K^*\bar{K}^*}$, $\rho \omega$, and $\rho \phi$ final-state interactions, where the scalar meson $a_0(1710)$ is generated. In addition, we also take into account the contributions from the scalar $a_0(980)(\to \bar{K}^0K^+)$ and the intermediate resonances $K_1(1270)^{-}(\to {\bar{K}}^0\rho^-) $ and $K_1(1270)^{0}(\to K^+\rho^-)$. Our results show that, in the ${{\bar{K}}^0K^+}$ invariant mass distribution, a clear peak structure around 1.8~GeV appears, which could be associated with the scalar $a_0(1710)$, however, no significant structure of the $a_0(980)$ is observed. On the other hand, one can find clear peaks of the $K_1(1270)$ in the ${\bar{K}}^0\rho^-$ and $K^+\rho^-$ invariant mass distributions. Abstract: Recently, the LHCb Collaboration has measured the processes $B^0\to\bar{D}^0D_s^+\pi^-$ and $B^+\to\bar{D}^0D_s^+\pi^+$, where the $D_s^+\pi^-$ and $D_s^+\pi^+$ invariant mass distributions show the significant signals of two new open-flavor tetraquark states $T_{c\bar{s}}(2900)^0$ and $T_{c\bar{s}}(2900)^{++}$, as the two of the isospin triplet. In this work, we have investigated the process $\Lambda_b\to K^0D^0\Lambda$ by taking into account the intermediate nucleon resonance $N^*(1535)$ and the tetraquark state $T_{c\bar{s}}(2900)^0$, which could be dynamically generated by the interactions of the $D^*K^*/D^*_s\rho$ and the pseoduscalar mesons-octet baryons, respectively. Abstract: The core-collapse supernova (CCSN) is considered one of the most energetic astrophysical events in the universe. The early and prompt detection of neutrinos before (pre-SN) and during the supernova (SN) burst presents a unique opportunity for multi-messenger observations of CCSN events. In this study, we describe the monitoring concept and present the sensitivity of the system to pre-SN and SN neutrinos at the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO), a 20 kton liquid scintillator detector currently under construction in South China. The real-time monitoring system is designed to ensure both prompt alert speed and comprehensive coverage of progenitor stars. It incorporates prompt monitors on the electronic board as well as online monitors at the data acquisition stage. Assuming a false alert rate of 1 per year, this monitoring system exhibits sensitivity to pre-SN neutrinos up to a distance of approximately 1.6 (0.9) kiloparsecs and SN neutrinos up to about 370 (360) kiloparsecs for a progenitor mass of 30 solar masses, considering both normal and inverted mass ordering scenarios. The pointing ability of the CCSN is evaluated by analyzing the accumulated event anisotropy of inverse beta decay interactions from pre-SN or SN neutrinos. 20. Study of the $B^-\to K^-\eta\eta_c$ decay due to the $D\bar{D}$ bound state

Abstract: We study the $B^- \to K^- \eta \eta_c$ decay by taking into account the $S$-wave contributions from the pseudoscalar meson-pseudoscalar meson interactions within the unitary coupled-channel approach, where the $D\bar{D}$ bound state is dynamically generated. In addition, the contribution from the intermediate resonance $K_0^*(1430)^-$, with $K_0^*(1430)^- \to K^-\eta$, is also considered. Our results show that there is a clear peak around $3720$~MeV in the $\eta \eta_c$ invariant mass distribution, which could be associated with the $D \bar{D}$ bound state. The future precise measurements of the $B^- \to K^- \eta \eta_c$ process at the Belle II and LHCb experiments could be, therefore, used to check the existence of the $D \bar{D}$ bound state, and to deepen our understanding of the hadron-hadron interactions., Comment: 14 pages, 9 figures

21. Coupled-channel $D^\ast K^\ast -D_s^\ast \rho$ interactions and the origin of $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)$

Abstract: Motivated by the recent observation of $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)^0$ and $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)^{++}$ in the $D_s \pi$ invariant mass distributions, we investigate $D^{\ast}K^{\ast}$ interactions in a coupled-channel approach. We show that the relativistic corrections could be significant for the energy far away from the threshold. Within the hidden local symmetry formalism, a sizable attraction interaction is found in the $J=0$ isospin triplet sector that can form a bound or a virtual state, which is consistent with the experimentally observed $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)$. By reproducing a $D_s^*\rho$-$D^*K^*$ bound/virtual state with the pole mass equal to that of the $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)$ measured by LHCb in the sector $(I,J)=(1,0)$, we determine the unknown parameter in the loop function, and then search for possible poles in the sectors of $I=1$, $J=1,$ 2 and $I=0$, $J=0$, 1, 2. The predicted resonances provide a useful reference for the future experimental studies of the $(C,S)=(1,1)$ systems and can be also helpful to unravel the nature of the $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)$.10, Comment: 10 pages, 6 figures, 3 tables

Abstract: Motivated by the recent LHCb observations of $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)^0$ and $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)^{++}$ in the processes $B^0\to\bar{D}^0D_s^+\pi^-$ and $B^+\to D^-D_s^+\pi^+$, we have investigated the decay $B^-\to D_s^+K^-\pi^-$ by taking into account the contributions from the $S$-wave vector-vector interactions, and the $S$-wave $D^+_s K^-$ interactions. Our results show that the $D_s^+K^-$ invariant mass distribution has an enhancement structure near the threshold, associated with the $D^*_0(2300)$, which is in good agreement with the Belle measurements. We have also predicted the $D^+_s\pi^-$ invariant mass distribution and the Dalitz plot, which show the significant signal of the $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)$. With the same formalism, the $D^-_sK^0_s$ invariant mass distribution of the process $B^0 \to D^-_sK^0_s\pi^+$ measured by Belle could be well reproduced, and the peak of $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)$ is expected to be observed around 2900~MeV in the $D^-_s\pi^+$ invariant mass distribution. Abstract: We discuss JUNO sensitivity to the annihilation of MeV dark matter in the galactic halo via detecting inverse beta decay reactions of electron anti-neutrinos resulting from the annihilation. We study possible backgrounds to the signature, including the reactor neutrinos, diffuse supernova neutrino background, charged- and neutral-current interactions of atmospheric neutrinos, backgrounds from muon-induced fast neutrons and cosmogenic isotopes. A fiducial volume cut, as well as the pulse shape discrimination and the muon veto are applied to suppress the above backgrounds. It is shown that JUNO sensitivity to the thermally averaged dark matter annihilation rate in 10 years of exposure would be significantly better than the present-day best limit set by Super-Kamiokande and would be comparable to that expected by Hyper-Kamiokande., Comment: 25 pages, 9 figures, matches the publised version

Abstract: Inspired by recent observations of $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)^0$ in the $D_s^+ \pi^-$ invariant mass distribution of $B^0 \to \bar{D}^0 D_s^+ \pi^-$ decay and $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)^{++}$ in the $D_s^+ \pi^+$ invariant mass distribution of $B^+ \to D^- D_s^+ \pi^+$ decay, we investigate the $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)^{++}$ contribution to the $B^+ \to K^+ D^+ D^-$ decay in a molecular scenario, where we consider $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)r^{++}$ as a $D^{\ast +} K^{\ast+}$ molecular state. Our estimations indicate that the fit fraction of $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)^{++}$ in the $B^+ \to K^+ D^+ D^-$ is about $12.5\%$, and its signal is visible in the $D^+ K^+$ invariant mass distribution. With the involvement of $T_{c\bar{s}0}(2900)^{++}$, the fit fractions of $\chi_{c0}(3915)$ and $\chi_{c2}(3930)$ may be much different with the ones obtained by the present amplitude analysis [Phys. Rev. D \textbf{102}, 112003 (2020)], which may shed light on the long standing puzzle of $\chi_{c0}(3915)$ as the conventional charmonium., Comment: 7 pages, 3 figures. Comments are welcome

Abstract: Motivated by the recently observed $D_{s0}(2590)$ state by LHCb, we investigate the mass spectrum and the strong decay properties of the charmed-strange mesons within Godfrey-Isgur model considering the coupled-channel effects. Our results support that $D_{s0}^*(2317)$ and $D_{s1}(2460)$ can be interpreted as the $D_{s}(1^3P_0)$ and $D_{s}(1^3P_1)$ states with larger $DK$ and $D^*K$ components, respectively, and $D_{s1}(2700)$, $D_{s1}(2536)$, $D^*_{s2}(2573)$, $D_{s1}^*(2860)$, $D_{s3}^*(2860)$, and $D_{sJ}^*(3040)$ can be well interpreted as the $D_s(2^3S_1)$, $D_s(1^1P_1)$, $D_s(1^3P_2)$, $D_s(1^3D_1)$, $D_s(1^3D_3)$, and $D_s(2^1P_1)$ states, respectively. Although, $D_{s0}(2590)$ mass is about 50 MeV less than our prediction for the $D_{s}(2^1S_0)$ state, its width is still in good agreement with the one of $D_{s}(2^1S_0)$. Therefore, $D_{s0}(2590)$ state needs to be further confirmed by the experimental measurements, and the more precise information about $D_{s0}(2590)$ will shed light on its assignment of $D_{s}(2^1S_0)$. Furthermore, we predict the masses and the strong decay properties of the charmed-strange mesons with masses around 3 GeV, which would be helpful to experimentally search for these states., Comment: 8 pages

Abstract: The main task of the Top Tracker detector of the neutrino reactor experiment Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) is to reconstruct and extrapolate atmospheric muon tracks down to the central detector. This muon tracker will help to evaluate the contribution of the cosmogenic background to the signal. The Top Tracker is located above JUNO's water Cherenkov Detector and Central Detector, covering about 60% of the surface above them. The JUNO Top Tracker is constituted by the decommissioned OPERA experiment Target Tracker modules. The technology used consists in walls of two planes of plastic scintillator strips, one per transverse direction. Wavelength shifting fibres collect the light signal emitted by the scintillator strips and guide it to both ends where it is read by multianode photomultiplier tubes. Compared to the OPERA Target Tracker, the JUNO Top Tracker uses new electronics able to cope with the high rate produced by the high rock radioactivity compared to the one in Gran Sasso underground laboratory. Abstract: The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO), the first multi-kton liquid scintillator detector, which is under construction in China, will have a unique potential to perform a real-time measurement of solar neutrinos well below the few MeV threshold typical for Water Cherenkov detectors. JUNO's large target mass and excellent energy resolution are prerequisites for reaching unprecedented levels of precision. In this paper, we provide estimation of the JUNO sensitivity to 7Be, pep, and CNO solar neutrinos that can be obtained via a spectral analysis above the 0.45 MeV threshold. This study is performed assuming different scenarios of the liquid scintillator radiopurity, ranging from the most opti mistic one corresponding to the radiopurity levels obtained by the Borexino experiment, up to the minimum requirements needed to perform the neutrino mass ordering determination with reactor antineutrinos - the main goal of JUNO. Our study shows that in most scenarios, JUNO will be able to improve the current best measurements on 7Be, pep, and CNO solar neutrino fluxes. We also perform a study on the JUNO capability to detect periodical time variations in the solar neutrino flux, such as the day-night modulation induced by neutrino flavor regeneration in Earth, and the modulations induced by temperature changes driven by helioseismic waves.

37. Quantum enhanced radio detection and ranging with solid spins

Abstract: The accurate radio frequency (RF) ranging and localizing of objects has benefited the researches including autonomous driving, the Internet of Things, and manufacturing. Quantum receivers have been proposed to detect the radio signal with ability that can outperform conventional measurement. As one of the most promising candidates, solid spin shows superior robustness, high spatial resolution and miniaturization. However, challenges arise from the moderate response to a high frequency RF signal. Here, by exploiting the coherent interaction between quantum sensor and RF field, we demonstrate quantum enhanced radio detection and ranging. The RF magnetic sensitivity is improved by three orders to 21 $pT/\sqrt{Hz}$, based on nanoscale quantum sensing and RF focusing. Further enhancing the response of spins to the target's position through multi-photon excitation, a ranging accuracy of 16 $\mu m$ is realized with a GHz RF signal. The results pave the way for exploring quantum enhanced radar and communications with solid spins.

38. Multi-configurational nature of electron correlation within nitrogen vacancy centers in diamond

Abstract: Diamond is a solid-state platform to develop quantum technologies, but it has been a long-standing problem that the current understanding of quantum states in diamond is mostly limited to single-electron pictures. Here, we combine the full configuration interaction quantum Monte Carlo method and the density-matrix functional embedding theory, to achieve unprecedented accuracy in describing the many-body quantum states of nitrogen vacancy (NV) centers in diamond. More than 30 electrons and 130 molecular orbitals are correlated, which reveals the multi-configurational wavefunction of the many-body quantum states in diamond. The multi-configurational description explains puzzling experimental measurements in intersystem crossing and charge state transition in NV centers in diamond. The calculations not only reproduce the available experimental measurements of the energy gaps between quantum states but also provide new benchmarks for states that are still subject to considerable uncertainty. This study highlights the importance of multi-configurational wavefunction in the many-body quantum states in solids.

Abstract: Since the lowest $\Sigma^{*}$ state, with quantum numbers spin-parity $J^{P} =1/2^{-}$, is far from established experimentally and theoretically, we have performed a theoretical study on the $\Sigma^*_{1/2^-}$ photo-production within the Regge-effective Lagrangian approach. Taking into account that the $\Sigma^*_{1/2^-}$ couples to the $\bar{K}N$ channel, we have considered the contributions from the $t$-channel $K$ exchange diagram. Moreover, these contributions from $t$-channel $K^*$ exchange, $s$-channel nucleon pole, $u$-channel $\Sigma$ exchange, and the contact term, are considered. The differential and total cross sections of the process $\gamma n \to K^{+}\Sigma^{*-}_{1/2^-}$ are predicted with our model parameters. Abstract: We study the hadronic molecular states with the quark content $bc\bar{s}\bar{q}$ by investigating the interactions of the $\bar{B}_s D$, $\bar{B} D_s$, $\bar{B}_s^* D$, $\bar{B}^* D_s$, $\bar{B}_s D^*$, $\bar{B} D_s^*$, $\bar{B}_s^* D^*$, and $\bar{B}^* D_s^*$ systems. By solving the Bethe-Salpeter equation within the extended local hidden gauge formalism, we find altogether six poles qualifying as possible hadronic molecular states: one pole of $J^P=0^+$ below the $\bar{B}_s D$-$\bar{B}D_s$ threshold, one pole of $J^P=1^+$ below the $\bar{B}_s^* D$-$\bar{B}^* D_s$ threshold, one pole of $J^P=1^+$ below the $\bar{B}_s D^*$-$\bar{B}D_s^*$ threshold, and three poles of $J^P=0^+/1^+/2^+$ below the $\bar{B}_s^* D^*$-$\bar{B}^* D_s^*$ threshold. Their binding energies are calculated to be about 10-20 MeV with the cut-off momentum $q_\textrm{max}=600\textrm{ MeV}$. Similarly, we study the hadronic molecular states with $bs\bar{c}\bar{q}$ by investigating the interactions of the $\bar{B}\bar{D}_s$, $\bar{B}_c\bar{K}$, $\bar{B}^*\bar{D}_s$, $\bar{B}_c^*\bar{K}$, $\bar{B}\bar{D}_s^*$, $\bar{B}_c\bar{K}^*$, $\bar{B}^*\bar{D}_s^*$, $\bar{B}_c^*\bar{K}^*$ systems, and the states with $bq\bar{c}\bar{s}$ by investigating the interactions of the $\bar{B}_s\bar{D}$, $\bar{B}_cK$, $\bar{B}_s^*\bar{D}$, $\bar{B}_c^*K$, $\bar{B}_s\bar{D}^*$, $\bar{B}_cK^*$, $\bar{B}_s^*\bar{D}^*$, $\bar{B}_c^*K^*$ systems. Abstract: Based on the BESIII measurements on the reaction of $D_s^+\to \pi^+\pi^0\pi^0$, we investigate this process by considering the $S$-wave pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar interaction within the unitary chiral approach, and the contributions from the intermediate resonances $f_0(1370)$ and $f_2(1270)$. Our calculation could reasonably reproduce the experimental data, and our results imply that the $f_0(980)$, dynamically generated from the $S$-wave pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar interaction, plays an important role in this process, and the contributions from the intermediate resonances $f_0(1370)$ and $f_2(1270)$ are also necessary. 44. The assignments of the $B_s$ mesons within the screened potential model and $^3P_0$ model

Abstract: We investigate the mass spectrum and the decay properties of the $B_s$ mesons within the screened nonrelativistic quark model and the $^3P_0$ model. Our results suggest that the $B_{sJ}(6064)$ and $B_{sJ}(6114)$ states, as the first solution of the recently LHCb measurements, could be explained as the $B_s(1^3D_3)$ and $B_s(1^3D_1)$, respectively. In addition, the $B_{sJ}(6109)$ and $B_{sJ}(6158)$ states, as the second solution of the LHCb measurements, could be explained as the $B'_{s2}(1D)$ and $B_{s1}(2P)$, respectively. Meanwhile, the $B_{s1}(5830)$ could be interpreted as the candidate of the $B_{s1}(1P)$. Abstract: The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) is a large liquid scintillator detector designed to explore many topics in fundamental physics. In this paper, the potential on searching for proton decay in $p\to \bar\nu K^+$ mode with JUNO is investigated.The kaon and its decay particles feature a clear three-fold coincidence signature that results in a high efficiency for identification. Moreover, the excellent energy resolution of JUNO permits to suppress the sizable background caused by other delayed signals. Based on these advantages, the detection efficiency for the proton decay via $p\to \bar\nu K^+$ is 36.9% with a background level of 0.2 events after 10 years of data taking. The estimated sensitivity based on 200 kton-years exposure is $9.6 \times 10^{33}$ years, competitive with the current best limits on the proton lifetime in this channel., Comment: 14 pages, 12 figures, an author added

46. Further understanding the nature of $a_0(1710)$ in the $D^+_s \to \pi^0 K^+ K^0_S$ decay

Abstract: Based on our previous work about the role of $a_0(1710)$ in the $D_s^+\to\pi^+K_S^0K_S^0$ decay [Phy. Rev. D 105, 116010 (2022)], we perform a further theoretical study of $a_0(1710)^+$ in the process $D^+_s \to \pi^0 a_0(1710)^+ \to \pi^0 K^+ K^0_S$. In addition to $a_0(1710)$, the contributions of $K^*$ and $a_0(980)$ are also taken into account. Firstly, we consider the contributions from the tree diagrams of $K^{*+} \to K^+\pi^0$ and $\bar{K}^{*0} \to \pi^0 \bar{K}^0$. Secondly, we describe the final state interaction of $K\bar{K}$ in the chiral unitary approach to study the contribution of $a_0(980)$, while the $a_0(1710)$ state is dynamically generated from the $K^*\bar{K}^*$ interaction, and then decays into $K^+\bar{K}^0$. Since the final $K^+ K_S^0$ state is in pure isospin $I=1$, the $D_s^+\to\pi^0K^+K_s^0$ decay is an ideal process to study the $a_0(1710)^+$ and $a_0(980)^+$ resonances. Based on our theoretical calculations, it is found that the recent experimental measurements on the $K^+K^0_S$, $\pi^0K^+$, and $\pi^0 K_S^0$ invariant mass distributions can be well reproduced, which supports the molecular $K^*\bar{K}^*$ nature of the scalar $a_0(1710)$ resonance., Comment: 8 pages, 8 figures

Abstract: The physics potential of detecting $^8$B solar neutrinos will be exploited at the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO), in a model independent manner by using three distinct channels of the charged-current (CC), neutral-current (NC) and elastic scattering (ES) interactions. Due to the largest-ever mass of $^{13}$C nuclei in the liquid-scintillator detectors and the {expected} low background level, $^8$B solar neutrinos would be observable in the CC and NC interactions on $^{13}$C for the first time. By virtue of optimized event selections and muon veto strategies, backgrounds from the accidental coincidence, muon-induced isotopes, and external backgrounds can be greatly suppressed. Excellent signal-to-background ratios can be achieved in the CC, NC and ES channels to guarantee the $^8$B solar neutrino observation. From the sensitivity studies performed in this work, we show that JUNO, with ten years of data, can reach the {1$\sigma$} precision levels of 5%, 8% and 20% for the $^8$B neutrino flux, $\sin^2\theta_{12}$, and $\Delta m^2_{21}$, respectively. It would be unique and helpful to probe the details of both solar physics and neutrino physics. Abstract: Natural materials usually consist of isotopic mixtures, for which different isotopic ratios can lead to distinct material properties such as thermal conductivity and nucleation process. However, the knowledge of isotopic interface remains largely unexplored mainly due to the challenges in isotopic identification and property measurement at an atomic scale. Here, by using monochromated electron energy-loss spectroscopy in a scanning transmission electron microscope, we reveal momentum-transfer-dependent lattice vibration behavior at an artificial h-10BN/h-11BN heterostructure with sub-unit-cell resolution. We find the vibrational energy changes across the isotopic interface gradually, featuring a wide transition regime, which suggests strong delocalization of the out-of-plane optical phonons at the interface. In addition, we identify phonons near the Brillouin zone center have a transition regime ~3.34 nm (10 atomic layers), whereas phonons at the Brillouin zone boundary transition in ~1.66 nm (5 atomic layers). We propose that the isotope-induced charge effect at the interface accounts for the distinct delocalization behavior. Moreover, intra-atomic layer variation of vibration energy is also sensitive to the momentum transfer, thus at the interface it depends on both of momentum transfer and mass change. The revealed lattice vibration behavior at an isotopic interface provides new insights to understand the isotopic effects on properties in natural materials.

49. The possibility of $X(4014)$ as a $D^\ast \bar{D}^\ast$ molecular state

Abstract: Within the framework of the local hidden gauge approach, we have studied the near-threshold interaction of the $D^* \bar{D}^*$ channel with quantum numbers $I(J^{PC}) = 0(0^{++})$, $0(2^{++})$, $1(0^{++})$, and $1(2^{++})$, respectively. The contact interaction is taken into account alone, since it is expected to give the dominant contribution near the threshold. One pole, which is found in the case of the quantum numbers $I(J^{PC}) = 0(0^{++})$, could be associated to the $X(4014)$ recently observed by the Belle Collaboration. Thus, we suggest that the $X(4014)$ may be an $D^* \bar{D}^*$ molecular state with $I(J^{PC}) = 0(0^{++})$, and more precise information about $X(4014)$, such as resonance parameters and decay properties, could be useful to shed light on its structure., Comment: 6 pages, 5 figures
