The development of new analog computers based on analog signals of electromagnetic or elastic waves has become a hot research topic in recent years. In this Letter, based on the concept of quantum state transfer, we study the process of energy transfer between acoustic cavities. Through the transformation from the temporal domain to the spatial domain, we further study the process of energy transfer between acoustic waveguides, and then we realize the applications of energy distributors and limiters in the acoustic system, which are the functional devices of wireless communication technology in new analog acoustic computers. We both simulationlly and experimentally demonstrate the effectiveness of the two applications. The energy distributor and limiter we proposed have the advantages of a relatively wide operating frequency range and adjustability. Our work shows the transfer mechanism of acoustic energy between different structures, which increases its potential application value in new analog acoustic computers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A modfied polyisobutylene succinimide T154) asphaltene dispersant was prepared by modifying PIBSA with hexyl hexanol, and was applied to the preparation of FCC slurry scale inhibitor. The effects of modification temperature, modification time and material mass ratio on asphaltene dispersion and scale inhibitor on FCC slurry were investigated. The results showed that when the modification temperature was 240 °C, the modification time was 4 h,and the mass ratio of polyisobutylene succinimide m) to hexyl hexanol m) was 1u 1,the dispersion performance was better than polyisobutylene succinimide. The acoustic pseudospin edge states characterized by backscattering immunity and unidirectional transport provide a basis for designing devices with unconventional functions. In this Letter, we report pseudospin-layer coupled acoustic topological edge states realized by two layers of coupled honeycomb sonic crystals. With the additional layer degree of freedom, we define two distinctly different topological invariants that collectively determine the direction of the acoustic vortex and the layer polarization. We achieve an interesting phase diagram and explore the edge states between different phases. Additionally, we extend the topological edge states to the heterostructure and experimentally verify its capability to focus acoustic waves and convert layer polarization. Our work may provide a feasible platform for the manipulation of acoustic waves and could have promising applications in various areas, such as acoustic signal transmission and splitting. In view of problems that vehicle location device with 8/16 bit microcontroller as main control processor has bad data processing ability and real-time performance, unable transplant of complicated operating system and poor functional expansibility, a mine-used vehicle location device based on S3C6410 and embedded Wince operating system was designed. Firstly, the device uses GPS location module to get location data of vehicle, and the location data is transmitted to the ARM processor S3C6410 through UART communication mode, then adopts GPRS wireless transmission module to send GPS location data to location center, so as to realize real-time location. The device has powerful functions and good practical applicability, and it meets with real-time demands of application.

Foamed non‐Fickian diffusion (FNFD) model for a ternary system was proposed for the first time to regress the desorption data obtained by the gravimetric method. Results showed that FNFD model could accurately describe the diffusion behavior of CO2 and ethanol out of foamed polystyrene (PS) and well predict total solubilities of CO2 and ethanol in foamed PS. Meanwhile, Sanchez–Lacombe equation of state (S–L EoS) was adopted to calculate the respective solubilities (solubility of CO2 in PS or solubility of ethanol in PS) and total solubilities of CO2 and ethanol in PS for CO2‐ethanol‐PS ternary system. Results showed that the total solubility of CO2 and ethanol obtained from S–L EoS agreed well with values obtained by FNFD model. Furthermore, the respective and total solubilities of CO2 and ethanol at 313.15, 338.15, and 343.15 K were calculated by S–L EoS. Results indicated that in the dissolving process, ethanol would be accelerated by CO2 to dissolve into PS, and ethanol would compete with CO2 to dissolve into PS, simultaneously. After a short discussion of various shape memory related phenomena and the basic working mechanisms behind the shape memory effect (SME) in polymeric shape memory materials (SMMs), standard techniques and procedures to characterize these types of materials are reviewed in details (including the concerns in the selection of testing methods and parameters). Although the focus of this paper is on the heating-responsive SME, important issues in the chemo-responsive SME are addressed. Furthermore, some other shape memory related phenomena, such as various kinds of temperature memory effect (TME), and multiple-SME etc., and optimization of the shape memory performance of a shape memory polymer (SMP) via tailoring the programming parameters are included.
