Previous studies have focused more on the facilitating effect of nature exposure on positive behavioural consequences. However, less attention has been paid to whether nature exposure can inhibit internalized problem behaviours, such as Internet addiction. Within the framework of the stimuli‐organism‐response theory, the present study examined the relationship between nature exposure and Internet addiction and investigated the mediating roles of anthropomorphism of nature and awe. In China, we recruited 1469 adolescents (mean age = 13.90 years old, SD = 0.59, 53.2% girls). Mediation analyses indicated that awe partially mediated the relationship between nature exposure and adolescents' Internet addiction. The anthropomorphism of nature and awe served as sequential mediating roles in the relationship between nature exposure and adolescents' Internet addiction. In disaster rescue, multiple resource allocation strategies before and after disasters are a key research issue. Response planning for sudden-onset disasters must take into account the inherent uncertainties associated with the catastrophe and potential ensuing disasters. This article investigates the problem of resource allocation optimization in the context of natural disasters accompanied by the occurrence of multiple secondary hazards. A two-stage stochastic optimization model is proposed to simulate the scenario of random occurrence and severity of multiple natural hazards to optimize the resource allocation of rescue teams, warehousing items and medical resources when multiple natural hazards occur in combination. A particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is designed and compared with a commercial solver (CPLEX) and lower bound at various scales. The results show that PSO performs optimally for large-scale cases. A case study, undertaken in Beijing, demonstrates that this method can improve the estimated casualty rescue success rate to 90.6%. Characterizing seismic wave propagation in a fluid-saturated porous media well enhances the precision of interpreting seismic data, bringing benefits to understanding reservoir properties better. Some important indicators, including wave dispersion and attenuation, along with the wavefield, are widely used for interpreting the reservoir, and they can be obtained from a rock physics model. In existing models, some of them are limited in scope due to their complexity, for example, numerical solutions are difficult or costly. In view of this, this study proposes an approach of establishing equivalent dynamic equations of existing models. First, the framework of the equivalent model is derived based on Biot's theory, while the elastic coefficients are set as unknown factors. The next step is to use deep neural networks (DNNs) to predict these coefficients, and surrogate models of unknowns are established after training DNNs. The training data is naturally generated from the original model. The simplicity of the equation forms, compared to the original complex model and some other equivalents such as the viscoelastic model, enables the framework to perform wavefield simulation easier. Numerical examples show that the established equivalent model can not only predict similar dispersion and attenuation, but also obtain wavefields with small differences. This also indicates that it may be sufficient to establish an equivalent model only according to dispersion and attenuation, and the cost of generating such data is very small compared to simulating the wavefield. Stochastic disturbances are everywhere. The influence of stochastic factors on the modeling and simulation of aircraft flight dynamics should be considered. Therefore, a stochastic differential equation for aircraft flight attitude is modeled based on the traditional one in this paper. After that, an identification method based on the idea of sparse recognition for unknown parameters and stochastic disturbance is proposed. Finally, a set of measured flight data is used to verify that the identified stochastic model has obvious advantages over the traditional deterministic model when the aircraft is maneuvering in flight. The deformation characteristics (namely, subsidence and densification) of sandy soil surrounding piles under lateral cyclic loading has become a major research topic. The behavior of soil subsidence reduces the embedded depth of monopiles and increases the bending moment of the pile head, which causes reduction of the piles' lateral capacity. In contrast, soil densification results in stiffening effect, which can increase the lateral capacity of monopiles. In this study, first, the changes of pile-soil system parameters caused by subsidence and densification are quantified based on the mass conservation principle of the subsidence zone and densification region. Then, lateral responses of monopiles before and after cycling are investigated by American Petroleum Institute (API) p-y curve model. The effects of the subsidence dimensions, initial relative densities and densification region modes (Mode 1 and Mode 2) on the pile lateral responses are analyzed. Lastly, a simple framework is proposed to evaluate the pile lateral capacity after cycling. Salient findings of this study are: (i) The lateral capacity of monopiles increases with the increment of subsidence dimension; (ii) The effect of cyclic loading on the lateral capacity of monopiles gradually decreased with the increase of initial relative densities; (iii) The significant nonlinear relationship between improvement ratio of pile lateral capacity and subsidence dimension revealed that Mode 2 agreed better with the actual conditions compared with Mode 1. This study investigates an integrated model for the continuous berth allocation and quay crane scheduling problem by considering quay crane coverage range, ship fuel consumption, and transshipment costs. A nonlinear mixed-integer programming model is proposed. Some nonlinear parts in this model are linearized by approximation approaches. While the objective function aims to minimize waiting costs, it also seeks to minimize fuel consumption costs from the current port to the next port and housekeeping costs generated by transshipment between vessels. A local branching-based solution algorithm is designed to solve the proposed model. Computational experiments are conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed scientific programming model and efficiency of the algorithm. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To study the evolution law of the beaing capacity of rigid piles in sand under cyclic loading, an evaluation method for the monopile beaing capacity after cycling was proposed. Firstly, based on the mass conservation principle of subsidence pits and densified regions, the change of the soil paameters caused by subsidence was quantified. Then, according to the sand lateral soil resistance-displacement model in API (American Petoleum Institute), the monopile beaing capacities before and after cycling were calculated. Finally, an evaluation model for the monopile beaing capacity after cycling was proposed, and the multi-factors such as the subsidence size, the initial relative density and the densified region mode were compaed and analyzed. The results show that the mono-pile beaing capacity increases with the development of the subsidence pit. As for loose sand, medium dense sand and dense sand, the monopile beaing capacity after cycling can be increased by 3. 0, 1. 5 and 1. 2 times, respectively, revealing that the improvement ratio of the monopile beaing capacity decreases with the increase of the relative density. As for two soil deformation modes, the single -cone mode is more in line with the real densified region morphology than the double-cone mode. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
