감정에 관한 연구는 과학의 발달과 함께 다양한 접근이 이루어졌고 그로 인해 감정의 고전적인 해석에 도전이 이어지고 있다. 심리학자인 리사 펠드먼 배럿이 주장하는 구성된 감정이론에서는 감정의 보편성 및 지문의 존재, 그리고 외부자극에 대한 수동적 반응이라는 감정의 기존 해석에 대해 반대의 견해를 제시한다. 즉 보편성이 아니라 다양성이 표준이며 특정감정을 주관하는 신체적인 지문은 존재하지 않고, 외부자극에 대해 과거의 경험을 바탕으로 형성된 감정개념을 통해 감정을 구성하는 것이라고 주장한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 구성된 감정이론에 기초하여 도덕감정의 발달 방향을 살펴보는 한편 감정개념의 발달을 모색하고, 감정의 재범주화를 통해 구성된 감정이론을 도덕교육에 적용할 수 있는 방안에 대해 탐색해 보았다.

이 연구에서는 말초 opioid 수용체를 이용한 저작근 통증 조절 시 성별 효과의 차이를 확인하고자 RDC/TMD로 진단된 지원자 남성 20명, 여성 20명을 saline 주사군, lidocaine 주사군, morphine 1.5 mg 주사군, morphine 3 mg 주사군 각각 5명씩 배정하였다. 통증부위에 주사 전, 주사 후 1시간, 24시간, 48시간에 각각 주관적인 통증 평가인 시각유추척도평가, 맥길통증설문지평가, 통증부위표시평가 그리고 객관적인 통증 평가인 압력통증역치평가와 압력통증한계평가를 실시하였다. 검사 후 평가된 자료를 통계 처리하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 시각유추척도평가에서는 남녀 모두가 morphine 3 mg군에서 통계학적으로 유의성 있는 효과가 있었다. (male: p 2. 맥길통증설문지 평가에서는 남녀 모두가 morphine 1.5 mg군 보다 morphine 3 mg군에서 더 통계학적으로 유의성 있는 효과가 있었다. (male: p 3. 통증부위표시평가와 압력통증역치평가에서는 남성이 morphine 3 mg군에서 통계학적으로 유의성 있는 효과가 있었다. (PD: p 이상의 연구 결과로 저작근 통증을 조절하기 위해서 morphine 3 mg을 통증부위에 주사한 경우 객관적인 통증 평가에서 여성 환자보다 남성 환자에게 더 효과가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 앞으로 시간에 따른 그리고 용량에 따른 남녀 치료효과의 차이에 관한 연구가 더 필요 할 것으로 생각된다.

An H.264/AVC fast motion estimation methodology is presented in this paper. Advanced SIMD based NEON which is one of the parallel processing methods is supported under the ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core platform. NEON is applied to a full search technique with one of the various motion estimation methods and SAD operation count of each macroblock is reduced to 1/4. Pixel values of the corresponding macroblock are assigned to eight 16-bit NEON registers and Intrinsic function in NEON architecture carried out 128 bits arithmetic operations at the same time. In this way, the exact motion vector with the minimum SAD value among the calculated SAD values can be designated. Experimental results show that performance gets improved 30% above average in accordance with the size of image and macroblock.

This study presents the design modification for SCR muffler of a commercial vehicle. Its main objective is the reduction of radiated noise at SCR muffler. For this study, the research of five steps were achieved by experimental and CAE analysis. First step is the measurement of radiated noise using impact-acoustic test. Second step is the source identification using experimental modal analysis. The cause of radiated noise source is confirmed by the resonance of end plates at SCR muffler. Third step confirms the possibility of resonance avoidance using SDM analysis applied the mass control. Fourth step is the suggestion of design modification which is the change of mode shape by CAE analysis. Last step is the verification of design modification using SYSNOISE analysis. Finally, the prototype product applied the countermeasure of resonance evasion was manufactured and the reduction of radiated noise at SCR muffler was confirmed by pass-by noise test.

Currently, automotive industries improve the vehicle performance and reduce the development period of vehicle using each module part for the high quality and performance of vehicles. However each component part doesn`t generate the noise and vibration problems, sometime these problems are generated on the assembly status between vehicle chassis frame and each module part. On this study, in order to analysis the dynamic characteristics of a shield door module that is a typical module part of vehicles, the acquisition and evaluation process about the vibration and noise of shield door module is developed. Also the possibility to apply to shield door module of the developed process is verified by the comparison with the dynamic characteristics between plastic and steel module plate.

The casting roll design is one of the most important requirements in twin roll strip casting process. Coupled analyses of heat transfer and deformation for the cast roll are carried out by use of the finite element program MARC to examine the thermal stress and deformation. The effects of several factors on thermal stress and deformation are also investigated. The amount of thermal stress increases when the ni thickness increases and when the casting speed and the copper sleeve thickness decrease.

In this paper, we propose a architecture of Genetic Algorithms (GAs)-based Polynomial Neural Networks(PNN), discuss a comprehensive design methodology and carry out a series of numeric experiments. GA-based design procedure at each stage (layer) of PNN leads to the selection of preferred nodes (or PNs) with optimal parameters (such as the number of input variables, input variables, and the order of the polynomial) available within PNN. A detailed design procedure is discussed in detail. To evaluate the performance of the GA-based PNN, the model is experimented with by using Medical Imaging System (MIS) data for application to Multi-variable software process. A comparative analysis shows that the proposed GA-based PNN is model with higher accuracy as well as more superb predictive capability than other intelligent models presented previously.

The anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties of artemisinin derived from water, methanol, ethanol, or acetone extracts of Artemisia annua L. were evaluated. All 4 artemisinin-containing extracts had anti-inflammatory effects. Of these, the acetone extract had the greatest inhibitory effect on lipopolysaccharide-induced nitric oxide (NO), prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), and proinflammatory cytokine (IL-1β , IL-6, and IL-10) production. Antioxidant activity evaluations revealed that the ethanol extract had the highest free radical scavenging activity, (91.0±3.2%), similar to α-tocopherol (99.9%). The extracts had antimicrobial activity against the periodontopathic microorganisms Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans, Fusobacterium nucleatum subsp. animalis, Fusobacterium nucleatum subsp. polymorphum, and Prevotella intermedia. This study shows that Artemisia annua L. extracts contain anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial substances and should be considered for use in pharmaceutical products for the treatment of dental diseases.

Purpose: The probiotic effects of lactic acid bacteria have widely been researched in diverse human pathogens, but only a few effects are reported against oral pathogens. The antimicrobial effects of the Enterococcus faecium 7413 isolated from Korean infants on the 9 pathogen including 6 oral streptococci were investigated the clinical use of the antimicrobial peptide for oral microflora control. Materials and Methods: E. faecium 7413 was identified by morphological, biochemical tests and 16S rDNA sequence analysis. Inhibitory effects of culture supernatants were determined for their ability to grow on agar plate containing pathogenic bacteria. Result: The culture supernatant of Enterococcus faecium 7413 showed inhibitory effects on oral pathogens, namely Streptococcus pyogenes KCTC 3556, S. pneumoniae KCTC 5080, S. mutans ATCC 25175, S. anginosus ATCC 33397, S. constellatus KCTC 3268, S. intermedius ATCC 27823 and Shigella flexneri KCTC 2008. Whereas it did not affect the multiplication of E. coli strains, KCTC 1041 and ATCC 43894. Conclusion: The data obtained in this study could be useful for future development of effective probiotics allowing prevention for oral pathogens. (J Korean Acad Periodontol 2008;38:31-40)

Purpose: The treatment of gingival recessions is needed to reduce root sensitivity and improve esthetical satisfaction. Several surgical techniques have been proposed to achieve these goals. The use of connective tissue grafts has made esthetic root coverage a predictable procedure. Numerous clinical studies have represented that using connective tissue grafts to cover exposed root surface showed high success rates. This is a case report which demonstrates the technique to obtain root coverage of a buccal recession defect. Materials and Methods: A 35-year-old patient with a high level of oral hygiene was selected for the study. This patient had one Class Miller recession defect in the mandible. A coronally advanced flap in combination with the connective tissue Ⅰ graft was chosen for the treatment. After surgery, the patient was told to visit the hospital once a week for his oral management and professional prophylaxis. The depth of initial recession was 4.0 mm. Result: After three months, it reduced to 0.0 ㅤ mm, and the average recession reduction was 4.0 mm. The average root coverage was 100%. Conclusion: The connective tissue graft is both effective and predictable way to produce root coverage in increasing the width of CAL and KT of various adjacent gingival recessions. Purpose: We have carried out prospective randomized clinical trial to compare survival benefit and side effect among three postoperative adjuvant chemotherapeutic regimens in serosa-negative gastric cancer patients. Materials and Methods: Total 317 cases were recognized as serosa negative and randomized into three groups at operating room. Out of them, 172 cases were excluded because of various reasons and 135 cases were analyzed finally; Group A 36 cases, Group B 49 cases, Group C 50 cases. Group A were treated with intravenous FP combination therapy, group B with MF combination therapy and group C with oral (mixture of Tegafur and Uracil) for one year. The median follow-up period was 30 months. Results: of Group A, of Group B and of Group C received adequate chemotherapy. The complication rates of Group A () was significantly higher than group B () and group C ()(P and respectively (Group A: , B: , C: ). There were no significant differences in survival rate and disease-free survival rate among the three groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: This study might suggest that the survival benefit of postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy for gastric Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and therefore it may be a useful adjunct tool for detection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection in combination with other conventional techniques.

For introduction of low energy consuming system in photocatalytic oxidation process, transition metal and nitrogen doped TiO 2 were synthesized with urea and nitrate salt of 4-periodic transition metal elements and their photoactivation characteristics was investigated. In order to find out the photochemical characteristics of produced TiO 2 , we have conducted the methylene blue dye decomposition experiment by setting BLB Lamp as a light source. Photocatalyst of nitrogen doped TiO 2 showed higher photoactive effects than pure TiO 2 but transition metal and nitrogen co-doped TiO 2 photocatalyst showed lower photocatalytic effects than only transition metal doped TiO 2 .
