Clean fire extinguishing systems applicable to the pottery jar liquor warehouse are in demand. In this study, taking 53vol% liquor as the research subject, fire models of various clean fire extinguishing systems comprising water mist, liquid carbon dioxide (LCO2) and liquid nitrogen (LN2) were established using a fire dynamic simulator to determine their fire extinguishing effect. A feasibility assessment of systems was performed under different fire source types, fire source sizes, and ventilation conditions. The fire extinguishing efficiency was analyzed in terms of the fire extinguishing time, oxygen concentration, and space temperature. The results showed that the success rate of the LCO2 and LN2 fire extinguishing systems was 100%, whereas the success rate of the water mist fire extinguishing system was 95%. In terms of reducing the oxygen concentration at the bottom of the space and the temperature in the space, the LCO2 system exhibited the best performance, followed by the LN2 system, and lastly the water mist. Under different ventilation conditions and fire source types, the LCO2 fire extinguishing system was least affected, whereas the effectiveness of the water mist fire extinguishing system reduced under natural ventilation conditions, and the extinguishing efficiency of the LN2 fire extinguishing system was affected by the fire source type. Overall, the LCO2 system presented more advantages in extinguishing fires in pottery jar liquor warehouses and can provide a new idea for the development and application of clean and efficient fire extinguishing systems. Accurate measurement of endogenous steroid hormones in serum is a powerful tool for understanding the status of human adrenal diseases. Isotope dilution–liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry is the most commonly used method for determination of steroids in serum. In this study, we used a laboratory-constructed quadrupole-linear ion trap (Q-LIT) tandem mass spectrometer to develop a new method for the quantification of five steroid hormones in serum. A simple and efficient pretreatment was improved, wherein the serum was extracted once by a mixed solvent of 1.0 mL of ethyl acetate and n-hexane. Using the optimized method, the regression coefficients of the calibration curves were all higher than 0.99, the limits of detection were from 0.31 to 1.25 ng mL−1, and the limits of quantification were between 1.00 and 2.50 ng mL−1. The intra-day (n = 3) relative standard deviations ranged from 4.24% to 13.79%, and the inter-day (n = 3) relative standard deviations from 3.99% to 11.43%. After internal standard correction, the relative recoveries of all steroids were from 86.08% to 106.60%. Twenty-two serum samples were analyzed by Q-LIT, which was compared with commercial triple quadrupole mass spectrometer. The results of the instruments had high consistency. This work aimed to explore the prognostic risk factors of lung cancer (LC) patients and establish a line chart prediction model. Methods: A total of 322 LC patients were taken as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a training set (n = 202) and a validation set (n = 120). Basic information and laboratory indicators were collected, and the progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) were followed up. Single-factor and cyclooxygenase (COX) multivariate analyses were performed on the training set to construct a Nomogram prediction model, which was validated with 120 patients in the validation set, and Harrell's consistency was analyzed. Results: Single-factor analysis revealed significant differences in PFS (P< 0.05) between genders, body mass index (BMI), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), cancer antigen 125 (CA125), squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCCA), treatment methods, treatment response evaluation, smoking status, presence of pericardial effusion, and programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1) at 0 and 1– 50%. Significant differences in OS (P< 0.05) were observed for age, tumor location, treatment methods, White blood cells (WBC), uric acid (UA), CA125, pro-gastrin-releasing peptide (ProGRP), SCCA, cytokeratin fragment 21 (CYFRA21), and smoking status. COX analysis identified male gender, progressive disease (PD) as treatment response, and SCCA > 1.6 as risk factors for LC PFS. The consistency indices of the line chart models for predicting PFS and OS were 0.782 and 0.772, respectively. Conclusion: Male gender, treatment response of PD, and SCCA > 1.6 are independent risk factors affecting the survival of LC patients. The PFS line chart model demonstrates good concordance. Lung inflammation and fibrogenesis are the two main characteristics during the development of pulmonary fibrosis (PF), which are particularly associated with pulmonary macrophages. In this context, whether cryptotanshinone (CTS) could alleviate PF through regulating macrophage polarization were preliminarily demonstrated in vitro. Then the time course of PF and its relationship with macrophage polarization was determined in BLM-induced mice based on cytokine levels in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF), lung histopathology, flow cytometric analysis, mRNA and protein expression. CTS was loaded into macrophage-targeted and responsively released mannose-modified liposomes (Man-lipo), and the liposomes were then embedded into mannitol microparticles (M-MPs) using spray drying to achieve efficient pulmonary delivery. Afterwards, how CTS regulates macrophage polarization in vivo during different time courses of PF was probed. Furthermore, the molecular mechanisms of CTS against PF by regulating macrophage polarization were elucidated in vivo and in vitro. The full-course therapy group could achieve comparable therapeutic effects compared with the positive control drug PFD group. CTS can alleviate PF through regulating macrophage polarization, mainly by inhibiting NLRP3/TGF-β1 pathway during the inflammation course and modulating MMP-9/TIMP-1 balance during the fibrosis development course, providing new insights into chronic PF treatment. In this study, according to the Dinger model, aqueous Si 3 N 4 slurries with a solid loading of 63 vol% and a viscosity lower than 1.0 Pa s were successfully prepared using two-grade Si 3 N 4 powders with D 50 = 7.2 μm and 9.4 μm as starting materials. These resulting slurries exhibited good rheological properties and suspension stability. Notably, the presence of β-Si 3 N 4 seeds existed in the starting materials effectively reduced the nucleation barrier by transforming homogeneous nucleation into heterogeneous nucleation. Consequently, it facilitated the reconstructive phase transformation of α-Si 3 N 4 to β-Si 3 N 4 , promoted the anisotropic growth of β-Si 3 N 4 nucleation, and resulted in the final formation of the bimodal microstructure. This unique microstructure significantly enhanced the mechanical properties of Si 3 N 4 ceramics, resulting in a high flexural strength of 1011.4 MPa and a fracture toughness of 14.8 MPa m1/2. These excellent properties were achieved through the combination of gelcasting and gas pressure sintering. Simultaneously, the Si 3 N 4 ceramics exhibited a low thermal conductivity of 47.7 W m−1 K−1, mainly owing to the low density of 95.3 %, the presence of low-thermal-conductivity silicate-based noncrystalline substances, and the possible existence of lattice oxygen in Si 3 N 4 crystals. Brassica napus is a globally important vegetable and oil crop. The research is meaningful for the yield and plant architecture of B. napus. In this study, one natural mutant line with determinate and capitulum-like inflorescence was chosen for further study. Genetic analysis indicated that the segregation patterns of inflorescences in the F2 populations supported a digenic inheritance model, which was further approved via the BSA-Seq technique. The BSA-Seq method detected two QTL regions on C02 (14.27–18.41 Mb) and C06 (32.98–33.68 Mb) for the genetic control of determinate inflorescences in MT plants. In addition, the expression profile in MT compared with WT was analyzed, and a total of 133 candidate genes for regulating the flower development (75 genes, 56.4%), shoot meristem development (29 genes, 21.8%), and inflorescence meristem development (13 genes, 9.8%) were identified. Then one joint analysis combing BSA-Seq and RNA-Seq identified two candidate genes of BnaTFL1 and BnaAP1 for regulating the MT phenotype. Epsilon toxin (ETX) is an exotoxin produced by type B and D Clostridium perfringens that causes enterotoxemia or necrotic enteritis in animals such as goats, sheep, and cattle. Vaccination is a key method in preventing such diseases. In this study, we developed a new type of dissolving microneedle patch (dMN) with a nanoparticle adjuvant for enhanced immune response to deliver the rETXY196E-C protein vaccine. We chose FDA-approved poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) to prepare nanospheres as the vaccine adjuvant and introduced dimethyldioctadecylammonium bromide (DDAB) to make the surface of PLGA nanoparticles (PLGA NPs) positively charged for antigen adsorption. PLGA NPs with a diameter of 100~200 nm, a surface ZETA potential of approximately +40 mV, and good safety were successfully prepared and could effectively adsorb rETXY196E-C protein. Using non-toxic and antibacterial fish gelatin as the microneedle (MN) matrix, we prepared a PLGA-DDAB dMN vaccine with good mechanical properties that successfully penetrated the skin. After immunization of subcutaneous (SC) and dMN, antibody titers of the PLGA and Al adjuvant groups were similar in both two immune ways. However, in vivo neutralization experiments showed that the dMN vaccines had a better protective effect. When challenged with 100 × LD50 GST-ETX, the survival rate of the MN group was 100%, while that of the SC Al group was 80%. However, a 100% protective effect was achieved in both immunization methods using PLGA NPs. In vitro neutralization experiments showed that the serum antibodies from the dMN and SC PLGA NPs groups both protect naive mice from 10 × LD50 GST-ETX attack after being diluted 20 times and could also protect MDCK cells from 20 × CT50 GST-ETX attack. In conclusion, the PLGA-DDAB dMN vaccine we prepared has good mechanical properties, immunogenicity, and protection, and can effectively prevent ETX poisoning. Purpose: Although total en bloc spondylectomy (TES) is strongly recommended for spinal giant cell tumor (GCT), it is extremely difficult to excise a L5 neoplasm intactly through the single-stage posterior approach. Given the risk of neurological and vascular injury, intralesional curettage (IC) is usually recommended for the treatment of L5 GCT. In this study, we presented our experience with the use of an improved TES to treat L5 GCT through the single-stage posterior approach. Methods: This study included 20 patients with L5 GCT who received surgical treatment in our department between September 2010 and April 2021. Of them, seven patients received improved TES without iliac osteotomy, and the other 13 patients received IC (n = 8), sagittal en bloc resection (n = 1), TES with iliac osteotomy (n = 3), and TES with radicotomy (n = 1) as control. Results: The mean operative time was 331.43 ± 92.95 min for improved TES group and 365.77 ± 85.17 min for the control group (p = 0.415), with the mean blood loss of 1142.86 ± 340.87 ml vs. 1969.23 ± 563.30 ml (p = 0.002). Postoperative treatment included bisphosphonates in nine patients and denosumab in 12 patients including one patient who changed from bisphosphonates to denosumab. Three patients who received IC experienced local recurrence, and no relapse was observed in improved TES group. Conclusion: Single-stage posterior TES for L5 GCT was previously considered impossible. In this study, we presented our experience with the use of an improved surgical technique for L5 TES through the single-stage posterior approach, which has proved to be superior to the conventional procedures in terms of blood loss control and complication and recurrence rates. Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor antibody and myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody can coexist. Some patients have NMDAR encephalitis and MOG antibody disease successively. We report a rare case of MOGAD following anti-NMDAR encephalitis. Three years ago, a female of 44 years, our patient developed headache, mental disorder, and epilepsy. Cerebrospinal fluid was positive for NMDAR antibodies, and the patient's symptoms improved after immunomodulatory treatment. Three months ago, the patient had a sudden loss of vision in the left eye. Orbital magnetic resonance imaging was supportive of left optic neuritis. Cerebrospinal fluid was positive for NMDAR and MOG antibodies. She was then diagnosed with MOGAD with anti-NMDAR encephalitis. In conclusion, when patients with anti-NMDAR encephalitis have demyelinating symptoms such as decreased vision, numbness or weakness of the limbs, it is necessary to consider whether they are combined with MOGAD. Load‐bearing biological staggered composites, like nacre, teeth, and bone, possess an exceptional combination of material properties like high stiffness and high toughness. To date, most of the analytical research are for nacre‐like bio‐inspired staggered composites, with highly overlapped platelets. But the collagen fibril‐like staggered composites, with slender or barely overlapped platelets, are out of their scope. This motivates this work. In this paper, based on the previous research, according to the elastic‐viscoelastic corresponding principle, an analytical model for dynamic properties of general bio‐inspired staggered composites is presented. Moreover, the effect of loading frequency in a wide range is studied. The accuracy of the model is verified by comparison with existing models and finite element simulations. Besides, parametric analyses and sensitivity analysis are conducted thoroughly. The results reveal that besides the platelet concentration and the platelet aspect ratio, the platelet overlap ratio also influences the damping behavior of bio‐inspired staggered composites to a certain extent; for biological/biomimetic composites with a larger overlap ratio, higher loss modulus is possible to be achieved, and the optimal aspect ratio is mostly within [5, 30]. The cGAS‐STING pathway plays an important role in host defense by sensing pathogen DNA, inducing type I IFNs, and initiating autophagy. However, the molecular mechanism of autophagosome formation in cGAS‐STING pathway‐induced autophagy is still unclear. Here, we report that STING directly interacts with WIPI2, which is the key protein for LC3 lipidation in autophagy. Binding to WIPI2 is necessary for STING‐induced autophagosome formation but does not affect STING activation and intracellular trafficking. In addition, the specific interaction between STING and the PI3P‐binding motif of WIPI2 leads to the competition of WIPI2 binding between STING and PI3P, and mutual inhibition between STING‐induced autophagy and canonical PI3P‐dependent autophagy. Furthermore, we show that the STING‐WIPI2 interaction is required for the clearance of cytoplasmic DNA and the attenuation of cGAS‐STING signaling. Thus, the direct interaction between STING and WIPI2 enables STING to bypass the canonical upstream machinery to induce LC3 lipidation and autophagosome formation. Synopsis: STING‐induced autophagy does not depend on ULK1 complex and PIK3C3 complex. Here, we report that STING directly interacts with WIPI2 and brings WIPI2 to STING‐positive vesicles. Our understanding of molecules has stagnated at a single quantum system, with atoms as Newtonian particles and electrons as quantum particles. Here, however, we reveal that both atoms and electrons in a molecule are quantum particles, and their quantum–quantum interactions create a previously unknown, newfangled molecular property—supracence. Molecular supracence is a phenomenon in which the molecule transfers its potential energy from quantum atoms to photo-excited electrons so that the emitted photon has more energy than that of the absorbed one. Importantly, experiments reveal such quantum energy exchanges are independent of temperature. When quantum fluctuation results in absorbing low-energy photons, yet still emitting high-energy photons, supracence occurs. This report, therefore, reveals novel principles governing molecular supracence via experiments that were rationalized by full quantum (FQ) theory. This advancement in understanding predicts the super-spectral resolution of supracence, and molecular imaging confirms such innovative forecasts using closely emitting rhodamine 123 and rhodamine B in living cell imaging of mitochondria and endosomes. The effects of repeated freeze-thaw (F-T) treatments on the oxidation and degradation of muscle proteins from mirror carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) were investigated. The myofibrillar fragmentation index, trichloroacetic acid-soluble peptides, total volatile basic nitrogen, amino nitrogen, and carbonyl content of the samples significantly increased (P < 0.05). However, the samples showed a significant reduction in the fragmentation index, myofibrillar protein (MP) solubility, and total sulfhydryl content after five F-T cycles (P < 0.05). Moreover, the sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis bands of the MP faded because of the oxidation and degradation of the protein with increasing F-T cycles. By the fifth F-T cycle, the α-helix and β-turn content significantly decreased by 10.41 % and 5.72 %, respectively (P < 0.05), whereas the β-sheet and random coil content significantly rose by 7.66 % and 8.47 %, respectively (P < 0.05). Furthermore, the intrinsic fluorescence of the MP showed a substantial decrease in intensity and a redshift. MOTS-c is a peptide encoded by the short open reading frame of the mitochondrial 12S rRNA gene. It is significantly expressed in response to stress or exercise and translocated to the nucleus, where it regulates the expression of stress adaptation-related genes with antioxidant response elements (ARE). MOTS-c mainly acts through the Folate-AICAR-AMPK pathway, thereby influencing energy metabolism, insulin resistance, inflammatory response, exercise, aging and aging-related pathologies. Because of the potential role of MOTS-c in maintaining energy and stress homeostasis to promote healthy aging, especially in view of the increasing aging of the global population, it is highly pertinent to summarize the relevant studies. This review summarizes the retrograde signaling of MOTS-c toward the nucleus, the regulation of energy metabolism, stress homeostasis, and aging-related pathological processes, as well as the underlying molecular mechanisms. Speciation among populations connected by gene flow is driven by adaptation to different environments, but underlying gene–environment associations remain largely unknown. Here, 162 individuals from 32 populations were sampled to obtain 191,648 independent single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) across the genomes of two closely related spruce species, Picea asperata and Picea crassifolia, which occur on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau and in surrounding regions. Using the SNP data set, genotype–environment associations and demographic modelling were used to examine local adaptation and genetic divergence between these two species. While morphologically similar, the two Picea species were genetically differentiated in multiple analyses. These species diverged despite continuous gene flow, and their initial divergence was dated back to the late Quaternary. The effective population sizes of both species have expanded since their divergence, as confirmed by niche distribution simulations. A total of 6365 genes were associated with the tested environmental variables; of these, 41 were positively selected in P. asperata and were mainly associated with temperature, while 83 were positively selected in P. crassifolia and were primarily associated with precipitation. These results deepen our understanding of the adaptive divergence and demographic histories of these two spruce species and highlight the importance of genomic data in deciphering the environmental selection underlying Quaternary interspecific divergence. Oxidation of sulfide to sulfone is a fundamental process to produce many important pharmaceutical compounds. Formerly, efficient methods have been reported for the synthesis of sulfones from sulfides. Yet some limitations were identified, such as the unbalance use of metal catalysts and expensive oxidizing agent, low reaction yields and production of by-products. In this current research, oxidation of sulfides to sulfones is described in the presence of samarium oxide (Sm2O3) along with hydrogen peroxide. The SEM image showed the crystalline morphology of the Sm2O3 as a cubic single phase (ICSD 98-001-2948) with a size distribution between 120 and 300 nm. In the recyclability experiment, Sm2O3 catalyst can be reutilized for five successive cycles and afforded the desired end-products in great yields (97–95%). Objective: The aim of this study is to create a nomogram for accurately predicting the prognosis of idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss (ISSNHL) and provide a reference for clinical treatment. Methods: Three hundred and twenty-three patients with ISSNHL were admitted from September 2014 to November 2020. The clinical data were retrospectively reviewed. Prognostic factors for ISSNHL were assessed based on univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis and used to create a nomogram. Nomogram performance in terms of predictive and discriminatory ability was evaluated by calculating the concordance index (C-index) and generating calibration plots. Results: The overall hearing improvement rate was 41.4%, comprising complete recovery (13.3%), marked recovery (17.0%), and slight recovery (11.1%). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age, symptoms of vertigo, interval between onset and treatment, low-density lipoprotein, and type of hearing loss were independent predictors of ISSNHL. A nomogram based on these 5 factors had a C index of 0.798 (95% confidence interval 0.750-0.845). Conclusions: Age, vertigo, interval between onset and treatment, low-density lipoprotein level, and type of hearing loss are closely associated with hearing recovery. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a common human malignancy with high mortality and dismal prognosis. A growing number of novel targets underlying HCC pathophysiology have been detected using microarray high throughput screening platforms. This study carried out bioinformatics analysis to explore underlying biomarkers in HCC and assessed the potential action of the miR-193b-3p/CDK1 signaling pathway in HCC progression. A total of 241 common differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were screened from GSE33294, GSE104310, and GSE144269. Functional analysis results implicated that DEGs are significantly associated with "cell cycle," "cell division," and "proliferation." The protein–protein interaction network analysis extracted ten hub genes from common DEGs. Ten hub genes were significantly overexpression in HCC tissues. Kaplan–Meier survival analysis revealed that 10 hub genes were linked with a poorer prognosis in HCC patients. Functional assays showed that CDK1 knockdown repressed HCC cell proliferation and migration. Luciferase reporter assay showed that miR-193b-3p could target CDK1 3′ untranslated region, and miR-193b-3p negatively modulated CDK1. Enforced CDK1 expression attenuated miR-193b-3p-modulated suppressive actions on HCC cell proliferation and migration. To summarize, we performed a comprehensive bioinformatics analysis and identified 10 hub genes linked to the prognosis in HCC patients. Functional analysis revealed that CDK1, negatively regulated by miR-193b-3p, may act as an oncogene to promote HCC cell proliferation and migration and may predict poor prognosis of HCC patients. Autophagy has emerged as a key regulator of cell metabolism. Recently, we have demonstrated that autophagy is involved in RNA metabolism by regulating ribosomal RNA (rRNA) synthesis. We found that autophagy-deficient cells display much higher 47S precursor rRNA level, which is caused by the accumulation of SQSTM1/p62 (sequestosome 1) but not other autophagy receptors. Mechanistically, SQSTM1 accumulation potentiates the activation of MTOR (mechanistic target of rapamycin kinase) complex 1 (MTORC1) signaling, which facilitates the assembly of RNA polymerase I pre-initiation complex at ribosomal DNA (rDNA) promoter regions and leads to the activation of rDNA transcription. Finally, we showed that SQSTM1 accumulation is responsible for the increase in protein synthesis, cell growth and cell proliferation in autophagy-deficient cells. Taken together, our findings reveal a regulatory role of autophagy and autophagy receptor SQSTM1 in rRNA synthesis and may provide novel mechanisms for the hyperactivated rDNA transcription in autophagy-related human diseases. Background: There is uncertainty whether prior statin use (PSU) influences the outcomes of intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) in acute ischemic stroke (AIS). Therefore, we conducted a systematic meta-analysis of published clinical trials to evaluate whether statin use combined with IVT therapy may be useful and safe. Methods: Electronic databases were searched for clinical trials that involved outcomes between PSU and nonstatin use (NSU) among stroke patients treated with IVT. Functional outcome measures were 3-month favorable outcome (modified Rankin scale [mRS] 0–2) and 3-month excellent outcome (mRS 0–1). Adverse outcome measures were 3-month all-cause mortality, intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) and symptomatic ICH (sICH). Data were extracted and used to calculate odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) by Review Manager 5.4 software. Results: Eleven studies, totaling 13,745 patients (2,957 for PSU and 10,788 for NSU), met the inclusion criteria. Compared with NSU, PSU was associated with excellent outcome (OR=0.78; 95% CI, 0.70–0.88; p<0.0001), ICH (OR=1.26; 95% CI, 1.07–1.47; p=0.005) and sICH (ORNINDS=1.32; 95% CI, 1.06–1.64; p=0.01), whereas favorable outcome (OR=1.08; 95% CI, 0.86–1.35; p=0.50) and mortality (OR=1.11; 95% CI, 0.97–1.27; p=0.15) showed no significant difference between PSU and NSU. However, after combining the available multivariable data, associations with neither excellent outcomes (adjusted OR=0.92; 95% CI, 0.79–1.07; p=0.28) nor adverse outcomes (ICH: adjusted OR=1.11; 95% CI, 0.96–1.29; p=0.16; sICH: adjusted ORNINDS=1.21; 95% CI, 0.95–1.56; p=0.13) was found. The currently available long-term snow depth data sets are either from point-scale ground measurements or from gridded satellite/modeled/reanalysis data with coarse spatial resolution, which limits the applications in climate models, hydrological models, and regional snow disaster monitoring. Benefitting from its unique advantages of cost-effective and high spatiotemporal resolution (∼ 1000 m 2 , hourly in theory), snow depth retrieval using the Global Navigation Satellite System Interferometric Reflectometry (GNSS-IR) technique has become a popular topic in recent years. However, due to complex environmental and observation conditions, developing robust and operational technology to produce long-term snow depth data sets using observations from various GNSS station networks is still challenging. The two objectives of this study are (1) to propose a comprehensive framework using raw data of the complex GNSS station networks to retrieve snow depth and control its quality automatically; and (2) to produce a long-term snow depth data set over northern China (i.e., GSnow-CHINA v1.0, 12 h or 24 h, 2013–2022) using the proposed framework and historical data from 80 stations. The data set has high internal consistency with regards to different GNSS constellations (mean r=0.98, RMSD = 0.99 cm, and nRMSD (snow depth > 5 cm) = 0.11), different frequency bands (mean r = 0.97, RMSD = 1.46 cm, and nRMSD (snow depth > 5 cm) = 0.16), and different GNSS receivers (mean r = 0.62). The data set also has high external consistency with the in situ measurements and the passive microwave (PMW) product, with a consistent illustration of the interannual snow depth variability. Additionally, the result show the potential of GNSS to derive hourly snow depth observations for better monitoring of snow disasters. The proposed framework to develop the data set provides comprehensive and supportive information for users to process raw data of ground GNSS stations with complex environmental conditions and various observation conditions. The resulting GSnow-CHINA v1.0 data set is distinguished from the current point-scale in situ data or coarse-gridded data, which can be used as an independent data source for validation purposes. The data set is also useful for regional climate research and other meteorological and hydrological applications. Rural college youth encounter numerous challenges in securing decent education and work. However, there has been scant research on their career development from a vocational psychology perspective. Drawing from the Psychology of Working Theory (PWT), we examined the contextual and personal factors that shape their work volition and perceptions of future decent work. We conducted semistructural interviews with 12 Chinese rural college students and employed Consensual Qualitative Research (CQR) method to analyze the data. Our findings revealed that their vocational barriers included economic constraints, inadequate educational resources, limited access to decent internship opportunities, and lack of study-related electronics. However, their coping stratgies to overcome these constraints included social support, notably from teachers, as well as positive attributes such as critical consciousness and proactive personality. Regarding future employment, participants valued job stability, a balance between work and life, the ability to provide for their families, and displayed prosocial and growth orientations. These findings provided support for the applicability of PWT in understanding the vocational trajectories of rural college students in a non-Western context. [Display omitted] • Cryptotanshinone (CTS) was loaded into lung myofibroblast targeting CREKA- and TAT-modified liposomes and liposome-exosome hybrid bionic vesicles. Then, the liposomes and hybrid bionic vesicles were separately incorporated into chitosan swellable microparticles (SM(CT-lipo) and SM(LE)) using spray drying for efficient pulmonary sustained release and targeted drug delivery. • SM(CT-lipo) and SM(LE) exhibited desirable spray drying stability, atomization performance and sustained release profiles. Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a chronic, progressive and irreversible interstitial lung disease that seriously threatens human life and health. Our previous study demonstrated the unique superiority of traditional Chinese medicine cryptotanshinone (CTS) combined with sustained pulmonary drug delivery for treating PF. In this study, we aimed to enhance the selectivity, targeting efficiency and sustained-release capability based on this delivery system. To this end, we developed and evaluated CTS-loaded modified liposomes-chitosan (CS) microspheres SM(CT-lipo) and liposome-exosome hybrid bionic vesicles-CS microspheres SM(LE). The prepared nano-in-micro particles system integrates the advantages of the carriers and complements each other. SM(CT-lipo) and SM(LE) achieved lung myofibroblast-specific targeting through CREKA peptide binding specifically to fibronectin (FN) and the homing effect of exosomes on parent cells, respectively, facilitating efficient delivery of anti-fibrosis drugs to lung lesions. Furthermore, compared with daily administration of conventional microspheres SM(NC) and positive control drug pirfenidone (PFD), inhaled administration of SM(CT-lipo) and SM(LE) every two days still attained similar efficacy, exhibiting excellent sustained drug release ability. The use of macromolecules and materials immobilized in the detection zone of test strips for indicator capture and focusing in label‐free lateral flow assays (LFAs) is described, with emphasis on its future use in low number multiplexing. Several materials such as polyelectrolytes, functionalized mesoporous silica micro‐ and nanoparticles, chemically modified cellulose or glass fibre (GF) membranes and molecularly imprinted polymer gels coated onto membranes were studied in model assays, before the most promising materials were combined with antibody‐gated indicator delivering (gAID) sensor materials. Cellulose, nitrocellulose and GF membranes were used as supports and highly fluorescent dyes of different charge states as model indicators. Combination of the best performing capture materials with gAID systems made it possible to distinctly increase the sensitivity and reduce the measurement uncertainty in the LFA testing of pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN) in aqueous samples. Objective: Epistaxis after radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a common clinical critical illness, which often leads to death of patients. This article focuses on the relationship between massive epistaxis and pseudoaneurysm after radiotherapy in patients with NPC and discusses clinically relevant treatment strategies. Methods: A review was performed in 21 patients with massive epistaxis after radiotherapy for NPC from January 2011 to December 2019, and all of the patients were examined by computed tomography angiography (CTA). We also reviewed the English literature over the past 10 years to analyze the characteristics and related causes of pseudoaneurysms in terms of the clinical stage of NPC, course of radiotherapy, and affected artery. An analysis was performed on the methods of endovascular interventional treatment of such pseudoaneurysms. Results: Among the 21 patients, 19 cases had bone destruction of the skull base; 13 cases were also found to have tumor recurrence; 15 cases were in stage III or IV of NPC; pseudoaneurysms were observed in 14 cases, of which nine cases had pseudoaneurysms in the internal carotid artery (ICA), and the rest had pseudoaneurysms in the external carotid artery (ECA). These data were consistent with the results of the literature review. Analysis with imaging revealed that the petrous ICA was the common predilection site. There were 11 out of 14 cases of pseudoaneurysms with sentinel hemorrhage in the initial phase. All 14 pseudoaneurysm patients underwent endovascular interventional therapy, but one died from hemorrhagic shock during the procedure. No rebleeding was observed among the other patients during 72 h after intravascular treatment. Nevertheless, regrettably two patients died on the 10th and 17th days after intervention. Conclusion: Pseudoaneurysm, which was a serious complication after radiotherapy in patients with NPC, could cause massive epistaxis with high mortality. The formation of a pseudoaneurysm was closely associated with a high carcinoma stage, re-radiotherapy, and local bone destruction and infection. Most cases had sentinel epistaxis, which was considered the bleeding characteristic. The imaging material prompted that pseudoaneurysm had a predisposition to the petrous part of the ICA, while the preferred therapy was endovascular embolization treatment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Remotely sensed soil moisture (SM) with high accuracy and high spatial–temporal resolution is crucial to meteorological, agricultural, hydrological, and environmental applications. The Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System (CYGNSS) is the first constellation that uses the L-band signal transmitted by the GNSS satellites to develop daily SM data products. In this study, a physics-based algorithm is proposed to couple CYGNSS surface reflectivity (SR) and Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) brightness temperature estimates for accurate SM retrieval. The algorithm is based on the radiative transfer model and the SMAP data to derive a combined parameter of the vegetation optical depth ($\tau$) and the surface roughness parameter ($h$). The CYGNSS L1 Version 2.1 data of the years 2017–2018 and 2019–2020 are used for calibration and validation, respectively. The SM estimates agree and correlate well with the SMAP SM and in situ SM data on a global scale ($R =0.679$ , RMSE $=0.051\,\,\text{m}^{3}\text{m}^{-3}$ , and MAE $=0.045\,\,\text{m}^{3}\text{m}^{-\mathrm {3}}$ against SMAP SM; $R = 0.729$ against in situ SM). The proposed algorithm makes contributions from two aspects. First, the proposed algorithm provides a physics-based algorithm using SMAP brightness temperature to calibrate the attenuation due to vegetation and surface roughness on the CYGNSS-derived SR. Unlike attenuation models that have been explored previously in the context of CYGNSS, this algorithm executes the calibration without relying on observations of $h$ or vegetation biophysical parameters as inputs but with the SMAP brightness temperature as the only observations. Second, the proposed algorithm provides a new way for the combined usage of CYGNSS and SMAP to improve the temporal and spatial coverages of global SM with temporal coverage increased by 38.2% and spatial coverage increased by 31.6%. Strain rate is a critical parameter in the mechanical application of nano-devices. A comparative atomistic study on both perfect monocrystalline silicon crystal and silicon nanowire was performed to investigate how the strain rate affects the mechanical response of these silicon structures. Using a rate response model, the strain rate sensitivity and the critical strain rate of two structures were given. The rate-dependent dislocation activities in the fracture process were also discussed, from which the dislocation nucleation and motion were found to play an important role in the low strain rate deformations. Finally, through the comparison of five equivalent stresses, the von Mises stress was verified as a robust yield criterion of the two silicon structures under the strain rate effects. New generation employees have become a major force in the workplace, and their high turnover rate is a major issue in academia and business. Drawing from the psychology of working theory and the job characteristics model, this study aims to explore the influence of decent work on new generation employees' turnover intention and the roles of job satisfaction and job autonomy in this relationship. After collecting a sample of 391 new generation employees in China through online questionnaires, we utilized SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 to analyze the data. The results show that decent work has a negative impact on turnover intention and job satisfaction plays a mediating role in the relationship between decent work and turnover intention. Moreover, job autonomy is found to positively moderate the relationship between decent work and job satisfaction, and also moderate the indirect effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between decent work and turnover intention. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune inflammatory disease that is characterized by persistent morning stiffness, joint pain, and swelling. However, there is a lack of reliable diagnostic markers and therapeutic targets that are both effective and trustworthy. In this study, gene expression profiles (GSE89408, GSE55235, GSE55457, and GSE77298) were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus database. Differentially expressed necroptosis-related genes were attained from intersection of necroptosis-related gene set, differentially expressed genes, and weighted gene co-expression network analysis. The LASSO, random forest, and SVM-RFE machine learning algorithms were utilized to further screen potential diagnostic genes for RA. Immune cell infiltration was analyzed using the CIBERSORT method. The expressions of diagnostic genes were validated through quantitative real-time PCR, western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence staining in synovial tissues collected from three trauma controls and three RA patients. Five core necroptosis-related genes (FAS, CYBB, TNFSF10, EIF2AK2, and BIRC2) were identified as potential biomarkers for RA. Glaucoma is a kind of neurodegenerative disorder characterized by irreversible loss of retinal ganglion cells (RGCs) and permanent visual impairment. It is reported that resveratrol (RES) is a promising drug for neurodegenerative diseases. However, the detailed molecular mechanisms underlying its protective potential have not yet been fully elucidated. The present study sought to investigate whether resveratrol could protect RGCs and retinal function triggered by acute ocular hypertension injury through the SIRT1/NF-κB pathway. An experimental glaucoma model was generated in C57BL/6J mice. Resveratrol was intraperitoneally injected for 5 days. Sirtinol was injected intravitreally on the day of retinal AOH injury. RGC survival was determined using immunostaining. TUNEL staining was conducted to evaluate retinal cell apoptosis. ERG was used to evaluate visual function. The proteins Brn3a, SIRT1, NF-κB, IL-6, Bax, Bcl2, and Cleaved Caspase3 were determined using western blot. The expression and localisation of SIRT1 and NF-κB in the retina were detected by immunofluorescence. Our data indicated that resveratrol treatment significantly increased Brn3a-labelled RGCs and reduced RGC apoptosis caused by AOH injury. Resveratrol administration also remarkably decreased NF-κB, IL-6, Bax, and Cleaved Caspase3 proteins and increased SIRT1 and Bcl2 proteins. Furthermore, resveratrol treatment obviously inhibited the reduction in ERG caused by AOH injury. Importantly, simultaneous administration of resveratrol and sirtinol abrogated the protective effect of resveratrol, decreased NF-κB protein expression, and increased SIRT1 protein levels. • Proteins are degraded by endogenous enzymes induced by freeze–thaw (F-T) cycles. • Proteins tend to aggregate under the synergistic effect of degradation and oxidation. • Aggregate formation isn't conducive to protein digestion during the F-T cycles. The in-vitro digestive properties of myofibrillar protein (MP) in mirror carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) after freeze-thaw (F-T) cycles were analyzed in terms of the relationship between protein degradation, oxidation, and structural properties. The F-T samples exhibited a significant increase in glucosidase activity, N -acetyl-β- d -glucosidase activity, total protease activity, and non-protein nitrogen content. α-aminoadipate semialdehyde and γ-glutamate semialdehyde contents increased by 23.17% and 123.12%, respectively. Furthermore, 53.97% decrease in the total nitrogen content and changes in the content of different soluble proteins were observed. X-ray diffraction intensity, thermal stability, free amine content, hydrolysis degree, and digestibility of the MP samples decreased, and the 2θ angle and zeta potential were reversed. Besides, changes in the amide band wavenumbers were also detected. Therefore, the protein structure was unfolded and aggregates were formed through degradation and oxidation induced by the F-T cycles, ultimately making the in-vitro digestion of MP difficult. In low and medium income countries (LMIC) drinking water sources (wells and boreholes) often contain a high number of pathogenic microorganisms, that can pose significant human and environmental health risks. In this study, a quantitative microbial risk assessment approach based on existing literature was conducted to evaluate and compare the quantitative health risks associated with different age groups using various drinking water supply systems. Results showed that both community-supply and self-supply modes exhibit similar levels of risk. However, the self-supply water source consistently showed higher risks compared to the community-supply one. Borehole water was found to be a more suitable option than well water, consistently showing between 5 and 8 lower health risks for E. coli and fecal coliform levels, respectively. The sensitivity analysis further showed the importance of prioritizing the reduction of E. coli concentration in well water and fecal coliform concentration in borehole water. This study offers a fresh perception on quantifying the impact of exposure concentration and age groups, shedding light on how they affect environmental health risks. Aiming at the semantic richness and complexity of power operation and maintenance text, a supplier evaluation model based on text emotion analysis is proposed. Histology slide, tissue microbes, and the host gene expression can be independent prognostic factors of colorectal cancer (CRC), but the underlying associations and biological significance of these multimodal omics remain unknown. Here, we comprehensively profiled the matched pathological images, intratumoral microbes, and host gene expression characteristics in 527 patients with CRC. By clustering these patients based on histology slide features, we classified the patients into two histology slide subtypes (HSS). Onco‐microbial community and tumor immune microenvironment (TIME) were also significantly different between the two subtypes (HSS1 and HSS2) of patients. Furthermore, variation in intratumoral microbes–host interaction was associated with the prognostic heterogeneity between HSS1 and HSS2. Drawing on the literature on perceived illegitimate tasks, we investigated, with 216 participants, how temporal leadership affects employee workplace deviance. Our findings show that temporal leadership effectively reduced employee workplace deviance. In addition, perceived illegitimate tasks played a mediating role in the relationship between temporal leadership and employee workplace deviance, and goal congruence moderated the indirect effect of temporal leadership on employee workplace deviance through perceived illegitimate tasks. Summary: Autoimmunity in plants has been found in numerous hybrids as a form of hybrid necrosis and mutant panels. Uncontrolled cell death is a main cellular outcome of autoimmunity, which negatively impacts growth. Its occurrence highlights the vulnerable nature of the plant immune system. Genetic investigation of autoimmunity in hybrid plants revealed that extreme variation in the immune receptor repertoire is a major contributor, reflecting an evolutionary conundrum that plants face in nature. In this review, we discuss natural variation in the plant immune system and its contribution to fitness. The value of autoimmunity genetics lies in its ability to identify combinations of a natural immune receptor and its partner that are predisposed to triggering autoimmunity. The network of immune components for autoimmunity becomes instrumental in revealing mechanistic details of how immune receptors recognize cellular invasion and activate signaling. The list of autoimmunity‐risk variants also allows us to infer evolutionary processes contributing to their maintenance in the natural population. Our approach to autoimmunity, which integrates mechanistic understanding and evolutionary genetics, has the potential to serve as a prognosis tool to optimize immunity in crops. Small angle grain boundaries comprised of dislocation structures have unique impacts on the performances of crystalline materials. In this atomistic study, we report structure-property correlations of Si (001) small angle mixed grain boundaries (SAMGBs) across three macroscopic GB characters (tilt character, twist character, and an implicit rotation character between them). Firstly, for the computed SAMGB energies spanning the three-dimensional GB character space, a revised Read-Shockley relationship is proposed and fitted, which hints that the energy trends follow the Read-Shockley formalism from the insight of GB decomposition. GB structural transitions from dislocation to amorphous structures are also given as a function of dislocation core radii, allowing the estimation of small angle GB proportion. Then, the proportion, topology and structural signatures of different SAMGB types defined from the ratio between the tilt and twist angles are presented. By extracting the transformation of metastable SAMGB phases, the formation process of these (001) SAMGB structures is characterized as the energetically favorable dislocation glide and reaction, from which the dislocation density function is derived. Hyperspectral image (HSI) super-resolution refers to enhancing the spatial resolution of a 3-D image with many spectral bands (slices). It is a seriously ill-posed problem when the low-resolution (LR) HSI is the only input. It is better solved by fusing the LR HSI with a high-resolution (HR) multispectral image (MSI) for a 3-D image with both high spectral and spatial resolution. In this article, we propose a novel nonnegative and nonlocal 4-D tensor dictionary learning-based HSI super-resolution model using group-block sparsity. By grouping similar 3-D image cubes into clusters and then conduct super-resolution cluster by cluster using 4-D tensor structure, we not only preserve the structure but also achieve sparsity within the cluster due to the collection of similar cubes. We use 4-D tensor Tucker decomposition and impose nonnegative constraints on the dictionaries and group-block sparsity. Current fluorescence imaging, however, is limited to about four colors because of typically circa 100‐nm spectral width. Herein, we show that molecular supracence imparts superior spectral resolution, resolving eight colors in 300‐nm width, about 37.5‐nm per color. A recently discovered light‐molecule interacting phenomenon, supracence only measures molecular emission above its excitation energy due to entanglement between atomic quantum system and electronic quantum system. As such, supracence takes advantage of sharp spectral edge of a single pathway and excitation specificity to produce narrow bands, whereas fluorescence has to deal with multiple pathways spilling out low‐energy long tail, that causes poor resolution. • A prior of image patches which can be described by a high dimension Gaussian Mixture Model is built in this paper. • An image patches based nonlocal variational method is proposed to simultaneously inpainting and denoising. • The existence of minimizer for the proposed inpainting model was given in this paper. We consider the inpainting problem for noisy images. It is very challenge to suppress noise when image inpainting is processed. An image patches based nonlocal variational method is proposed to simultaneously inpainting and denoising in this paper. Our approach is developed on an assumption that the small image patches should be obeyed a distribution which can be described by a high dimension Gaussian Mixture Model. By a maximum a posteriori (MAP) estimation, we formulate a new regularization term according to the log-likelihood function of the mixture model. To optimize this regularization term efficiently, we adopt the idea of the Expectation Maximization (EM) algorithm. In which, the expectation step can give an adaptive weighting function which can be regarded as a nonlocal connections among pixels. Using this fact, we built a framework for non-local image inpainting under noise. Moreover, we mathematically prove the existence of minimizer for the proposed inpainting model. By using a splitting algorithm, the proposed model are able to realize image inpainting and denoising simultaneously. Exploring flexible dielectrics with high dielectric constant and low loss is pertinent for many applications in electronic devices. In the present work, a non-ferroelectric polymer, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), was used to fabricate homogeneous dielectric composite films with a relatively high dielectric constant and a low dielectric loss by using 2D nano sheets (Ti 3 C 2 T x MXene) as the filler. To limit dielectric loss, SiO 2 was coated onto the surface of MXene to provide interfacial barrier effect and suppress dielectric loss. MXene@SiO 2 /PVA composite films showed lower dielectric losses at low frequencies (from 20 Hz to ~ 10 kHz) compared with MXene/PVA composite films. MXene@SiO 2 /PVA composite films with 2.5 wt% MXene loading and 5 wt% (with respect to MXene content) SiO 2 coating had a dielectric constant of 27.2 (a 292.5% rise compared to neat PVA film) and a dielectric loss of only 0.057 (a 259.6% reduction compared to MXene/PVA composite film) at 100 Hz and room temperature (RT). In addition, this SiO 2 -coated composite film had stable dielectric properties (dielectric constant and loss change from 27.2 to 29.3 and 0.057 to 0.104, respectively) in the temperature range of RT to 60 °C. The article discusses a study on a rare but high-risk pathogenic variants within several ankylosing spondylitis (AS) families by whole-exome sequencing and whether the rare variants exist in a larger sample population. Topics include clinical characteristics and relationships of six patients in the study from different families, finding on the number of osteoclasts present in the sample treated with interferon (IFN)ß stimulation, and mutant that plays a pathogenic role in AS.

The optical output of near-ultraviolet (NUV) light-emitting diodes (LEDs) was improved by including a monolayer of hexagonal close-packed polystyrene (PS) nanospheres. PS nanospheres with different sizes were deposited on the indium tin oxide layer of the NUV LEDs. The electroluminescence results showed that the light extraction efficiency of the NUV LEDs was increased by the inclusion of PS nanospheres, and the maximum optical output enhancement was obtained when the size of the nanospheres was close to the light wavelength. The largest enhancement of the optical output of 1.27-fold was obtained at an injection current of 100 mA. The enhanced optical output was attributed to part of the incident light beyond the critical angle being extracted when the exit surface of the NUV LEDs had a PS nanosphere monolayer. Some wiring rules have been used to prevent crosstalk in industrial application, but the technical rationale is not clear. This paper aims at proposing an analytic method of determining a critical cable spacing for acceptable crosstalk. First of all, we derive a calculation function of crosstalk with cable spacing. Then, we discuss about the crosstalk characteristics according to the crosstalk function and its curve. On this basis, we define the critical cable spacing via a critical point on the curve and explain physical meaning of the critical point by use of the fringe field around the victim cable. After that, we analyze the influence of wiring parameters on the critical cable spacing. Finally, we conduct an experiment to validate the proposed method of the critical cable spacing.
