Bulblet formation and development of Lanzhou lily (Lilium davidii var. unicolor) by tissue culture could provide technical solutions to realize the mass production of Lanzhou lily bulblet, which needs three steps to achieve, including multiple shoots proliferation, induction of bulblets and enhancement growth of bulblets. The starch content and the characteristic parameters of bulblet were detected at different culture stages. This study acquired an advanced technique that could effectively promote the bulblet formation and development, and induce the growth of main stem. The results demonstrated that the bulblet diameter, weight and number of scales were up to 1.66 cm, 2.48 g and 26.33 pieces, respectively. The starch content showed a gradual increasing trend according to the culture process, which indicated that the starch content was positively correlated to the development of bulblet. In addition, the bulblet size, weight and number of scales showed a positive correlation. The growing point of bulblet was easy to form the main stem when the number of scales reached to 26 or more. In this paper, the invented three-step tissue culture technology effectively promotes bulblet enhancement development, and enlargement of the bulblet can effectively shorten the field growth cycle, improve lily production on time, and also, it can provide technical reference for achievement of mass production of enhancement bulblet. [Objective] The resistance properties of banana variety Guijiao 6 against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense Race 4 (Foc4 % in different regions of Guangxi were tested to screen strains with strong resistance and provide backup strains for identifying resistance of new banana varieties. [Method]Foc4 strains (J-2, SD-2,T-2,W-2, F-2% were inoculated to the potted Guijiao 6 banana cultivar at the same time respectively by root scratching inoculation method. The symptoms of banana plants leaves were observed after 10 days, 15 days, 2 0 days, 25 days and 30 days of inoculation, respectively. The corm of banana plants was anatomized and observed after 30 days of inoculation. The virulence of different strains was evaluated by analyzing both outer and inside symptoms of infected Guijiao 6 banana cultivars. [Result]SD-2, J-2, T-2 and W-2 strains all showed strong virulence towards Guijiao 6, among which SD-2 and J-2 had the strongest virulence. The edge of leaves began to turn yellow after 10 days of SD-2 and J-2 inoculation and etiolation appeared 15 days later. 30 days later, the plants became shorter, weaker and even withered. 20 days after inoculated with T-2 and W-2, banana plants also turned yellow, but the plants still grew normally. F-2 strain virulence was weaker, but it still belonged to moderate virulent strains. [Conclusion]Guijiao 6 banana cultivar is a susceptible variety to Foc4, and wilt should be paid special attention in planting. J-2 and SD-2 strains can be used as identification strains for breeding wilt-resistant banana cultivars. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

[ Objective ] In vitro culture technique of reproducing buds from buds of Dendiobium officinale was established to provide technical support for selecting good varieties and propagating germchit of Dendrobium officinale in Guangxi. [Method] The effects of different sterilize time and different ratio of hormones on the inducing culture process of multiple shoots were researched by inducing, multiplying, strengthening and seeding the explants which were stems of wild Dendrobium officinale offspring materials form Guiping, Rongxian and Xilin. [Result] The best sterilize time of three materials was 10 min, and the contamination rate was 10.0%-20.0%. The best inducing medium of multiple shoots of Guiping's material was MS+2.0 mg/L 6-BA+0.2 mg/L NAA + 10% coconut milk, in which inductivity was 7.8%. The best inducing medium of multiple shoots of Rongxian and Xilin materials was MS + 1.5 mg/L 6-BA+0.2 mg/L NAA+10% coconut milk, in which inductivity was 23.1% and 30.8%. The best successive transfer culture medium of all these 3 materials was MS+6-BA 0.5 mg/L+NAA 0.2 mg/L+10% coconut milk, in which average proliteration ratio was 3-5 times. The best rooting medium was ½MS+0.5 mg/L NAA+0.2 mg/L IBA + 10% banana puree, in which rooting percentage was more then 95.0%. The medium of transplanting was pine bark, in which surviving rate of transplant reached 90.0%. [Conclusion] All of these three stem explants from wild Dendrobium officinale offspring materials form Guiping, Rongxian, Xilin can be used to build an in Vitro culture system of reproducing buds from buds. It can increase the inductivity and proliferation rate when increasing the transfer times on inducing medium and successive transfer culture medium. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
