Physical rehabilitation is essential to recovery from joint replacement operations. As a representation, total knee arthroplasty (TKA) requires patients to conduct intensive physical exercises to regain the knee's range of motion and muscle strength. However, current joint replacement physical rehabilitation methods rely highly on therapists for supervision, and existing computer-assisted systems lack consideration for enabling self-monitoring, making at-home physical rehabilitation difficult. In this paper, we investigated design recommendations that would enable self-monitored rehabilitation through clinical observations and focus group interviews with doctors and therapists. With this knowledge, we further explored Virtual Reality(VR)-based visual presentation and supplemental haptic motion guidance features in our implementation VReHab, a self-monitored and multimodal physical rehabilitation system with VR and vibrotactile and pneumatic feedback in a TKA rehabilitation context. We found that the third point of view real-time reconstructed motion on a virtual avatar overlaid with the target pose effectively provides motion awareness and guidance while haptic feedback helps enhance users' motion accuracy and stability. Finally, we implemented \systemname to facilitate self-monitored post-operative exercises and validated its effectiveness through a clinical study with 10 patients.

Limited by the time complexity of querying k-hop neighbors in a graph database, most graph algorithms cannot be deployed online and execute millisecond-level inference. This problem dramatically limits the potential of applying graph algorithms in certain areas, such as financial fraud detection. Therefore, we propose Asynchronous Propagation Attention Network, an asynchronous continuous time dynamic graph algorithm for real-time temporal graph embedding. Traditional graph models usually execute two serial operations: first graph computation and then model inference. We decouple model inference and graph computation step so that the heavy graph query operations will not damage the speed of model inference. According to Rytov approximation theory, we derive the analytical expression of the detection probability of the autofocusing Airy beam (AAB) with powerexponent-phase carrying orbital angular momentum (OAM) mode, AAB-PEPV. We analyze the influence of oceanic turbulence on the propagation characteristics of the AAB-PEPV. The results show that the AAB-PEPV beam has a higher detection probability at the receiver when the anisotropic ocean turbulence has a larger unit mass fluid dynamic energy dissipation rate, a larger internal ratio factor, and a higher anisotropy factor. At the same time, the detection probability decreases with the temperature change dissipation rate, the temperature and salinity contribution to the refractive index spectrum. In addition, the larger power exponential phase and the longer wavelength the AAB-PEPV beam has, the better anti-interference the AAB-PEPV beam has.

With Rytov approximation theory, we derive the analytic expression of detection probability of Airy vortex beam carrying orbital angular momentum (OAM) through an anisotropic weak oceanic turbulence. We investigate the influences of turbulence parameters and beam parameters on the propagation properties of Airy-OAM beam. The numerical simulation results show that the anisotropic oceanic turbulence with a lower dissipation rate of temperature variance, smaller ratio of temperature and salinity contributions to the refractive index spectrum, higher dissipation rate of kinetic energy per unit mass of fluid, bigger inner scale factor, larger anisotropic coefficient causes the larger detection probability of Airy-OAM beam. Moreover, the Airy-OAM beam with a smaller topological charge, larger main ring radius and longer wavelength, has strong resistance to oceanic turbulent interference. Additionally, the detection probability decreases with the increase of receiving aperture size. In comparison with Laguerre-Gaussian-OAM beam, Airy-OAM beam has more anti-interference to turbulence when its topological charge is larger than 5 due to its non-diffraction and self-healing characteristics.
