To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of combined treatment of moxibustion along the governor vessel and sliding cupping on allergic rhinitis. A total of 28 patients with allergic rhinitis meeting the inclusion criteria were enrolled in the study. Sliding cupping was applied on the back, followed by moxibustion along the running course of the governor vessel. After 6 treatments, the symptoms and signs of patients were evaluated according to guideline and reported. Compared with before treatment, the score of symptoms and sighs all decreased after treatment(7.64 ± 1.62 vs 1.86 ± 0.65 ,2.57 ± 1.26 vs 0.96 ± 0.57, both P < 0.05). Among 28 patients, the treatment was remarkably effective in 14 patients, effective in 12 patients and no effect in 2 patients. The total effective rate was 92.86%. No severer adverse events happened during the treatment. The combined treatment of moxibustion along the governor vessel and sliding cupping therapy could be effective for allergic rhinitis, and may require further investigation for its effectiveness. This study aims to investigate the effects of Linggui Zhugan Decoction(LGZGD) on myocardial fibrosis(MF) and the Lats1/Yap signaling pathway in mice after myocardial infarction(MI), exploring its role and mechanism in inhibiting MF. The MI-induced ischemic mouse model was established by left anterior descending coronary artery ligation, followed by continuous intervention for six weeks. Doppler ultrasound imaging-system of small animals was used to detect left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF), left ventricular fractional shortening(LVFS), left ventricular internal diameter at end-systole(LVIDs), and left ventricular internal diameter at end-diastole(LVIDd). Pathological changes in myocardial tissue were observed by HE and Masson staining. Serum levels of creatine kinase isoenzyme MB(CK-MB) and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) were detected by using ELISA. Myocardial tissue mRNA levels of Lats1, Yap, and connective tissue growth factor(CTGF) were determined by RT-qPCR. Protein expression of alpha-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA), collagen Ⅰ(Col Ⅰ), collagen Ⅲ(Col Ⅲ), tissue inhibitor of metal protease 1(TIMP1), matrix metallopeptidase 2(MMP2), Yap, p-Yap, and n-Yap was determined by Western blot. Compared with the sham group, the model group showed significantly decreased LVEF and LVFS levels, increased LVIDd and LVIDs levels(P&lt;0.01), disordered arrangement of myocardial cells, partial fracture of myocardial fibers, and massive deposition of collagen fibers. Moreover, serum levels of CK-MB and LDH were significantly increased(P&lt;0.01), while myocardial tissue mRNA levels of Lats1 were significantly decreased(P&lt;0.01), and mRNA levels of Yap and CTGF were significantly increased(P&lt;0.01). Protein expression of α-SMA, Col Ⅰ, Col Ⅲ, MMP2, Yap, and n-Yap was significantly increased(P&lt;0.01), while protein expression of Lats1, TIMP1, p-Yap, and the ratio of p-Yap/Yap were significantly decreased(P&lt;0.01). Compared with the model group, after intervention with LGZGD(9.36 g·kg~(-1)), mice showed significantly increased LVEF and LVFS levels, decreased LVIDd and LVIDs levels(P&lt;0.01), more orderly arrangement of myocardial cells, significantly reduced myocardial fiber fracture and collagen fiber deposition. Serum levels of CK-MB and LDH were significantly decreased(P&lt;0.01), while myocardial tissue mRNA levels of Lats1 were significantly increased(P&lt;0.01), and mRNA levels of Yap and CTGF were significantly decreased(P&lt;0.01). Protein expression of α-SMA, Col Ⅰ, Col Ⅲ, MMP2, Yap, and n-Yap was significantly decreased(P&lt;0.01), while protein expression of Lats1, TIMP1, p-Yap, and the ratio of p-Yap/Yap were significantly increased(P&lt;0.01). LGZGD can inhibit MF in mice after MI and improve mouse cardiac function, which is closely related to the activation of the Lats1/Yap signaling pathway.

Objectives: To investigate the effect of magnetron sputtered niobium nitride (NbN) on the bonding strength of commercially pure cast titanium (Ti) and low-fusing porcelain (Ti/Vita titankeramik system)., Methods: Sixty Ti specimens were randomly divided into four groups, group T1, T2, T3 and T4. All specimens of group T1 and T2 were first treated with 120 microm blasted Al2O3 particles, and then only specimens of group T2 were treated with magnetron sputtered NbN film. All specimens of group T3 and T4 were first treated with magnetron sputtered NbN film and then only specimens of group T4 were treated with 120 microm blasted Al2O3 particles. The composition of the deposits were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD). A universal testing machine was used to perform the three-point bending test to evaluate the bonding strength of Ti and porcelain. The microstructure of NbN, the interface of Ti-porcelain and the fractured Ti surface were observed with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy depressive spectrum (EDS), and the results were compared., Results: The XRD results showed that the NbN deposits were cubic crystalline phases. The bonding strength of Ti and porcelain in T1 to T4 group were (27.2+/-0.8), (43.1+/-0.6), (31.4+/-1.0) and (44.9+/-0.6) MPa. These results were analyzed by one-way analysis of variance and differences between groups were compared using least significant difference test. Significant inter-group differences were found among all groups (P<0.05). The results of SEM showed that with treatment of Al2O3 or NbN, alone, pre-cracks were found in the interface of Ti-porcelain, while samples treated with both Al2O3 and NbN had better bond. EDS of Ti-porcelain interface showed oxidation occurred in T1, T2 and T3, but was well controlled in T4., Conclusions: Magnetron sputtered NbN can prevent Ti from being oxidized, and can improve the bonding strength of Ti/Vita titankeramik system. Al2O3 blast can also improve the bonding strength of Ti/Vita titankeramik system.
