To better simulate car-following behaviour, this paper presents a new model that considers the effects of lateral separation and overtaking expectation based on optimal velocity model. A stability condition of the proposed model is obtained using the theory of linear systems. The stability condition reveals that when lateral separation and overtaking expectation increase, the stability region of the traffic flow increases at a low traffic density but decreases at a high traffic density. A genetic algorithm is adopted to calibrate the model using two trajectory data sets: one collected in the next-generation simulation programme and one collected in Guangzhou, China. A sensitivity analysis is conducted to demonstrate the robustness of the proposed model with respect to parameter uncertainty. The widely applying of LED lighting products promotes the development of smart lighting control system of LED. On the basis of analysis of the existing intelligent lighting control system technology, and with the development of computing and communications as well as cutting-edge technology, this paper puts forward a smart lighting control system of LED based on CPS. Combining practical LED lighting system and CPS theory, hierarchical structure of LED intelligent lighting control system is put forward. And on the basis of the designed system framework, this paper gives the LED intelligent control system based on ZigBee – Wi-Fi structure.

Inverse problem of magnetotelluric is nonlinear. It’s easy to fall into local minimum and the non-uniqueness of inversion result becomes more serious if using the linear inversion method. In this paper, the artificial fish swarm algorithm is introduced to geophysical inversion, the nonlinear inversion of magnetotelluric data with artificial fish swarm optimization method is proposed. The calculation of the partial derivative is not needed and the inverted parameters can be constrained, which can reduce non-uniqueness of the inversion result. Meanwhile, the search step is improved, and the artificial fish swarm parameters suitable for magnetotelluric inversion are given. Many synthetic data tests prove that the artificial fish swarm inversion algorithm can be used to find the global optimal solution effectively. The real data test shows that this method can be used to process the field data and a good result can be achieved.

The effects of high glucose on the expression of monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) and the main component of the extracellular matrix, fibronectin (FN), were explored in human mesangial cells (HMCs), along with the intervention effects of mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) on these indicators. Cultured HMCs were divided into five groups: 1) normal control group (5 mM glucose); 2) high glucose group (30 mM glucose); 3) mannitol osmotic pressure control group (5 mM glucose + 25 mM mannitol); 4) high glucose + MMF-10 group (30 mM glucose + 10 μg/mL MMF); 5) high glucose + MMF-100 group (30 mM glucose + 100 μg/mL MMF). At 24, 48, and 72 h, reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay methods were used to detect the effects of MMF on MCP-1 mRNA and protein and FN expression in HMCs under high glucose conditions. MCP-1 mRNA and protein expressions and FN secretion significantly increased in HMCs of the high glucose group compared with the normal control group (P < 0.01), with the highest expression observed at 48 h. MMF could reduce the MCP-1 mRNA and protein and FN expression levels (P < 0.01), and the inhibition occurred in a dose- and time-dependent manner (P < 0.05). In conclusion, MMF could inhibit MCP-1 expression and the secretion of FN, indicating that it may delay the progression of glomerulosclerosis and interstitial fibrosis in diabetic nephropathy to ultimately achieve protective effects on the kidney.

Samples of neat epoxy resins based on Epikote 828 cured with diethylenetriamine and blends containing 10 wt% of a polycarbonate were prepared at 20°, 40° and 70°. The critical stress intensity factor ( K 1c ) and critical strain energy release rate ( G 1c ), the morphology and glass transition temperatures ( T g ) were examined by a three-point bending test, scanning and transmission electron microscopy and by dynamic mechanical analysis, respectively. The results show that the blend is miscible and that K 1c and G 1c increase somewhat on the addition of the polycarbonate.

An epoxy resin (Epikote 828), cured with 3-diethylaminopropylamine (DEAPA) was blended with a polyetherimide. The glass transition temperature ( T g ) and information on the morphology of the blend were obtained by dynamic mechanical analysis and transmission electron microscopy, respectively. The critical stress intensity factor ( K Ic ) and critical strain energy release rate ( G Ic ) based on 3-point bending test data were also measured. The results indicate that the polyetherimide was miscible with the cured epoxy matrix. K Ic and G Ic decreased with the addition of the polyetherimide.
