Rad tematizira čovjeka analizirajući suodnos njegove osjetilne i razumske naravi kroz pisanu ostavštinu Tome Akvinskoga. Cilj ovoga rada je analizirati na koji način strasti oblikuju čovjeka i njegovo životno djelovanje. U prvom dijelu rada opisani su procesi kako osjetilne, tako i razumske ljudske spoznaje. Elaboraciju spoznaje prati analiza ljudske osjetilne i razumske težnje koje su, s obzirom na objekt, bitno povezane sa spoznajom jer je ona preduvjet za težnju. Središnji dio rada bavi se temom strasti te obuhvaća definiciju strasti, moralnost strasti te opis poretka požudnih i gnjevljivih, ali i pojedinačnih strasti u Tominoj misli. Na osobit način pažnja je posvećena ljubavi, mržnji, požudi, užitku, boli, nadi, očaju, strahu, smjelosti i ljutnji, odnosno onim strastima o kojima i Toma razglaba pojedinačno. U razglabanju o ovdje navedenim strastima, ocrtana su njihova glavna obilježja kao i njihovi uzroci te učinci. This paper deals with human being by analyzing the relationship between his sensory and rational nature through the written legacy of Thomas Aquinas. The aim of this paper is to analyze how passions shape human being and his life activities. The first part of the paper describes the processes of both sensory and rational human cognition. The elaboration of cognition is followed by the analysis of human sensory and rational appetite which, with regard to the object, are essentially connected with cognition, considering that cognition is precondition for appetite. The central part in this paper deals with the topic of passion and includes the definition of passions, the morality of passions and a description of the order between concupiscible and irascibile passions, but also includes a description of the individual passions in Thomas' thought. Particular attention is given to love, hate, concupiscience, pleasure, pain, hope, despair, fear, daring and anger, respectively those passions that Thomas discusses individually. In confering about the passions listed here, their main features are outlined as well as their causes and effects.

Ovaj rad bavi se pograničnim odnosima u Imotskoj krajini krajem 18. stoljeća, a temelji se na dragomanskim spisima koji se čuvaju u Državnom arhivu u Zadru. Prvi dio rada usmjeren je na mletačko osvojenje imotske utvrde 1717. godine za vrijeme Malog rata (1714.-1718.) te poratno razgraničenje. Drugi dio rada bavi se opisom administrativnog ustroja na novostečenom teritoriju Mletačke Republike pa tako i Imotske krajine. Središnji dio rada obuhvaća mletačko-osmansku korespondenciju koja baca svjetlo na prilike i neprilike mletačkih i osmanskih podanika na imotsko-bekijskome prostoru potkraj 18. stoljeća. U ovome dijelu prikazana je povijest funkcije dragomana i povijest čuvanja dragomanskih spisa te radovi drugih autora koji su se njima bavili. Također, opisane su prilike u cijelom 18. stoljeću, od gladi i epidemija do hajdučije. Posljednja dva potpoglavlja bave se vjerovničkodužničkim odnosima i razbojništvima na imotsko-bekijskom prostoru na temelju korespondencije pukovnika nadzornika Imotske krajine Francesca Danesa i osmanskih visokih dužnosnika 1792. i 1793. godine. This paper deals with border relations in the Imotski region at the end of the 18th century, and is based on Dragoman writings kept in the State Archives in Zadar. The first part of the paper focuses on the Venetian conquest of the Imotski fortress in 1717 during the Little War (1714- 1718) and the post-war demarcation. The second part of the paper deals with the description of the administrative structure in the newly acquired territory of the Venetian Republic and thus the Imotski region. The central part of the paper includes Venetian-Ottoman correspondence that sheds light on the opportunities and troubles of Venetian and Ottoman subjects in the Imotski and Bekija area at the end of the 18th century. This section presents the history of the dragoman function and the history of the preservation of dragoman writings, as well as the works of other authors who have dealt with them. Also, situations throughout the 18th century are described, from famines and epidemics to banditry. The last two subchapters deal with creditor-debtor relations and robberies in the Imotski and Bekija area based on the correspondence in 1792 and 1793 between Colonel Supervisor of the Imotski region Francesco Danese and Ottoman high-ranking officials.

Cilj je ovog članka ponuditi pregled dijela Tomine antropologije u kojem on razmatra dvije vrste moći koje nalazimo kod čovjeka: spoznajne moći i moći težnje. Spoznajne moći kao i moći težnje Toma dijeli na osjetilne i razumske, te ih razlikuje s obzirom na njihove objekte i načine aktualizacije. U prvom dijelu članka promatramo odnos duše i njezinih moći, postavljamo pitanje kako se moći međusobno razlikuju, te može li se bit duše svesti na neku od njezinih moći. Nakon toga prelazimo na spoznaju koju Toma dijeli na osjetilnu i razumsku. Jedno od pitanja koje nam se nužno postavlja jest pitanje uzroka podjele spoznaje na spomenute dvije vrste. Zadnja je tema vezana za osjetilnu i razumsku težnju, njihovu međusobnu razliku i činjenicu da je čovjek kao razumsko biće, za razliku od životinja, slobodno biće., The objective of this article is to offer an overview of a segment of Thomas´ anthropology in which he is researching two kinds of faculties we find in a man: cognitive faculties and faculties of appetite. Cognitive as well as appetitive faculties Thomas divided into rational and sensitive and he differentiates them according to their respective objects and the way they are actualized. The first part of the article is dedicated to the relationship of the soul to its faculties, the question of how the faculties are distinguished amongst themselves and whether the essence of the soul can be reduced to any of its faculties. After that we will place our attention on cognitive faculties which are divided into sensitive and rational and there we will see why Thomas is dividing these two types of cognition. The final subject is connected to sensitive and rational appetite, their mutual difference, and the fact that a man as a rational being, unlike animal, is a free agent.

In the history of philosophy, Thomas Aquinas represents one of the most systematic and fruitful thinkers of all time. His works encompass from metaphysical and cosmological, to ethical, aesthetical and epistemological discussions. In this article we wish to inquire into one of the many topics in anthropology which Thomas touched upon, and that is the question of passions. The purpose of this article isto show the outline of Thomas´ teaching on passions and their respective relation. It is important to note that his teaching rests upon an understanding of a human being as a composite being which, by its nature, consists of body and soul therefore the first chapter covers exactly that, and it represents preliminary chapter for the subsequent ones which address passions. Passions, as we shall see, are divided into six concupiscible and five irascible passions. The final chapter describes the relationship between concupiscible and irascible passions and analyzes the passions individually. The conclusion offers a general overview of Thomas´ anthropology as demonstrated in his teaching on passions, giving a special highlight to his understanding of man as a being composite of soul as a immaterial principle and body as a material principle, and their intimate union., Toma Akvinski u povijest filozofije zasigurno zauzima mjesto jednog od najsustavnijih i najplodnijih mislioca svih vremena. U njegovom opusu možemo pronaći kako metafizičke i kozmološke, tako etičke, estetičke i epistemološke rasprave. U ovom ćemo se radu posvetiti jednoj od mnogobrojnih tema iz područja antropologije, a ta tema su strasti. Svrha je rada, stoga, ponuditi prikaz Tominog nauka o strastima i njihovog međusobnog odnosa. Važno je istaknuti da njegov nauk o strastima počiva na slici čovjeka kao složenog bića koje se sastoji po svojoj biti od duše i tijela. Stoga prvo poglavlje govori upravo to tome, te ono predstavlja preliminarno poglavlje za sva ostala u kojima je riječ o strastima. Strasti se, kao što ćemo vidjeti, dijele na šest požudnih i pet gnjevljivih. U završnom dijelu rada opisuje se odnos između gnjevljivih i požudnih strasti nakon čega slijedi analiza pojedinačnih strasti. Zaključak nudi jedan opći pregled nekih osnovnih značajki Tomine antropologije vidljivih u njegovom nauku o strastima, pri tom posebno ističući njegov naglasak na složenosti čovjeka od duše kao nematerijalnog principa i tijela kao materijalnog, te njihove intimne povezanosti.

U ovom radu se prikazuju događaji izravno i neizravno vezani za Imotski i Imotsku krajinu od kraja 14. do kraja 18. stoljeća. Kreće se od vremena vladanja raznih vladara Imotskim, od smrti hrvatsko-ugarskog kralja Ludovika 1382. godine do potpadanja Imotskoga s krajinom pod osmansko vrhovništvo 1493. godine. U radu su za ovo razdoblje istaknute najvažnije osobe, zatim crkvene prilike te početak prodora Osmanlija prema Imotskome. Za vrijeme osmanskog vrhovništva nad Imotskim i okolnim mjestima, prikazani su ključni događaji, migracije, crkvene prilike te uprava. Godine 1717. Imotski dolazi pod mletačku vlast, što je potvrđeno Požarevačkim mirom iz 1718. godine, te pod istom ostaje do propasti Mletačke Republike 1797. godine. U razdoblju ove vladavine kroz rad su prikazane osnovne crte uprave, crkveni položaj i stanje stanovništva u Imotskom i okolici. This paper presents events directly and indirectly related to the Imotski and Imotski's region from the end of the 14th to the end of the18th century. It is started from the reign of the various rulers under which rule Imotski was, that period lasts from the death of the Croat-Hungarian king Ludovik in 1382 to the fall of Imotski with its region under Ottoman rule in 1493. The paper highlights the most important persons for this period, followed by church circumstances and the beginning of the Ottoman penetration toward Imotski. During the Ottoman rule of Imotski and surrounding places, key events, migrations, ecclesiastical circumstances and administration are presented. In 1717 Imotski came under the Venetian rule, which was confirmed by the Treaty of Passarowitz in 1718, and under the same rule Imotski remains until the collapse of the Venetian Republic in 1797. For the duration of this reign, this paper shows the basic features of the administration, the church position and the state of the population in Imotski and its surroundings.

Toma Akvinski je kršćanski teolog i filozof koji je živio u trinaestom stoljeću. U njegovoj misli jasno je odijeljen objekt filozofije od objekta teologije. Kroz ovaj rad najviše je pažnje posvećeno poziciji čovjeka u filozofskoj misli Tome Akvinskoga. Na samom početku su pojašnjeni najvažniji metafizički pojmovi tomističke filozofije koji predstavljaju temelj analize čovjeka. Čovjek je supstancijalno jedinstvo duše i tijela. Za ljudsku dušu su specifične moći razum i slobodna volja. Dalje se u radu spominju sve moći ljudske duše, dok se u nastavku najviše pažnje posvećuje moći težnje. Obrada moći težnje je uvertira za analizu strasti. Strasti se dijele na požudne kojih ima šest i gnjevljive kojih ima pet. Požudne strasti su ljubav, mržnja, požuda, užitak, bol i tuga, dok su gnjevljive strasti nada, očaj, strah, smjelost i ljutnja. U nastavku se opisuje odnos između gnjevljivih i požudnih strasti iza čega slijedi analiza svih strasti pojedinačno i na kraju zaključak. Thomas Aquinas is a Christian theologian and philosopher who lived in the thirteenth century. In his thought, the object of philosophy is distinguished from the object of theology. Throughout this paper the great attention is provided to the position of man in the philosophical thought of Thomas Aquinas. At the outset, the most significant metaphysical concepts of Thomistic philosophy are explained as they are base for the analysis of man. Man is the substantial unity of body and soul. For the human soul specific powers are reason and free will. Further in this paper are mantioned all powers of human soul, while great attention is provided to the power of desire. Discription of power of desire is an overture for passion analysis. The passions are divided between concupiscible passions where there are six and the irascible passions where there are five. Concupiscible passions are love, hate, concupiscence, pleasure, pain and sorrow, while irascible passions are hope, despair, fear, daring and anger. Furthermore in this paper are described the relationships between concupiscible and irascible passions followed by analyzes of all passions individually and conclusion at the end.

U ovom radu izlaže se filozofija Hannah Arendt s naglaskom na pojam politike, rata te na filozofske interpretacije imperijalizma i antisemitizma. Sve te teme uvod su za raspravu o Eichmannu u Jeruzalemu u kojoj autorica na zanimljiv način propituje granice osobne odgovornosti u političkom sistemu koji diktira svoja pravila. Zaključuje kako ljudi koji su činili zločine nisu to činili zbog nedostatka savjesti nego zbog zatomljene sposobnosti mišljenja i stvaranja vlastitog moralnog svjetonazora., This paper presents Hannah Arendt's philosophy with an emphasis on the concept of politics, war and philosophical interpretations of imperialism and anti-Semitism. All of these topics are an introduction to the discussion of Eichmann in Jerusalem, in which the author in an interesting way interprets the limits of personal responsibility in a political system that dictates its rules. It is concluded that the people who did the crimes did not do so because of the lack of conscience, but because of the suppressed ability of thinking and creation of their own moral worldview.
