Acute urinary tract infection is considered to be a growing burden in both medical and socio-economic terms. The exact etiologic structure of acute pyelonephritis pathogens, their role and interference is unclear. Thus, we aimed on revealing the species composition and populational levels of microorganisms causing acute inflammation of kidney and perirenal tissues. The study included 145 patients with acute pyelonephritis (mean age 34.15±6.79); 67 (47.2%) male and 78 (53.8%) female. Microbiota was defined in three different portions (samples) of urine taken during on urination. Species were considered as dominant when constancy index was 50.0% or higher, additional - from 25.0% to 50.0% and random species if value less than 25.0%. Received data expectedly correlates with other studies. Conditionally pathogenic Enterobacteriaceae play major role in etiology of acute pyelonephritis. Our study provides further evidence of higher etiologic significance of conditionally pathogenic flora (normal E. coli) over of the traditional pathogenic microorganisms like enteropathogenic Escherichia and Staphylococcus aureus.

64 patients aged 30-49 with chronic cor pulmonale underwent the following diagnostic evaluation: electromyography of the heart and vessels, electrocardiography, lung rheography to diagnose the presence of pulmonary hypertension. Electromyography was shown to play a key role in diagnosing pulmonary hypertension. Attention should be paid to electrocardiography (with the help of L. Burstin's nomogram) and electrocardiography (after S. A. Dushanin) methods of quantitative evaluation of pulmonary hypertension. Electrocardiography (after R. Bernar and al) was noted to have a low sensitivity, especially at early stages of the development of chronic cor pulmonale. It was established that lung rheography suggested by A. M. Novikov is to be used for diagnosing pulmonary hypertension even though it doesn't allow estimating exactly an absolute value of mean blood pressure in pulmonary arteries.

Pulmonary hypertension was diagnosed in 97 elderly patients (age 60-79) using electrokymography of the heart and vessels, ECG and rheography of the lungs. All the patients suffered from chronic cor pulmonale (CCP). Electrokymography proved an effective diagnostic tool in detection of pulmonary hypertension in CCP patients, whereas quantitation of the hypertension was successful at electrokymography with application of L. Burstin nomogram and electrocardiography according to S. A. Dushanin. ECG according to R. Bernar et al. appeared poorly sensitive, especially at early CCP stages. A. M. Novikov's rheopulmonography technique can provide only an approximate value of mean pressure in the pulmonary artery of elderly CCP patients.

Analysis of vectorgrams obtained in 85 patients aged 60-79 years with chronic pulmonary heart and 64 patients aged 30-49 years allowed this disease to be diagnosed in 90.7% of elderly and senile patients at the stage of compensation and in all cases in combination with decompensation. With aging, combined ventricular hypertrophy was found to be one of the most typical features of chronic pulmonary heart. This was evidenced by vector cardiography in 79.1-88.9% of the examinees from different groups. A complex of the most informative VCG signs of chronic pulmonary heart was proposed for patients from various age groups. For more rapid recognition of chronic pulmonary heart, a rapid VCG diagnostic technique was developed and recommended for the disease. By using a regression analysis, a mathematical model of VCG diagnosis was constructed for chronic pulmonary heart in elderly and senile patients.

Spatial assay of the vectorcardiograms (VCG) was performed in 85 elderly and senile patients with chronic cor-pulmonale (CCP) and in 64 patients aged 30-49 years. In accordance with the VCG, CCP was diagnosed in 90.7% of patients aged 60-79 years and in 91.3% of patients aged 30-49 years in a stage of compensation as well as in all the cases with decompensation superaddition. Spatial vectorcardiography makes it possible not only to diagnose right ventricular hypertrophy in CCP patients but also to examine its formation over time, commencing from the early disease stages. Biventricular hypertrophy was one of the most characteristic features of cor pulmonale on ageing. A complex of the most informative VCG criteria for CCL are suggested for patients of different age groups.
