5. Parton Hadron Quantum Molecular Dynamics (PHQMD) -- a Novel Microscopic N-Body Transport Approach for Heavy-Ion Dynamics and Hypernuclei Production

Abstract

We present the novel microscopic n-body dynamical transport approach PHQMD(Parton-Hadron-Quantum-Molecular-Dynamics) for the description of particle production and cluster formation in heavy-ion reactions at relativistic energies. The PHQMD extends the established PHSD (Parton-Hadron-String-Dynamics) transport approach by replacing the mean field by density dependent two body interactions in a similar way as in the Quantum Molecular Dynamics (QMD) models. This allows for the calculation of the time evolution of the n-body Wigner density and therefore for a dynamical description of clusters and hypernuclei formation. The clusters are identified with the MST ('Minimum Spanning Tree') or the SACA ('Simulated Annealing Cluster Algorithm') algorithm which - by regrouping the nucleons in single nucleons and noninteracting clusters - finds the most bound configuration of nucleons and clusters. Abstract

У роботі досліджено окремі електричні та термоелектричні властивості маловивчених складних шпінелей Cu2B II Ti3 S 8 (B II –Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni). Встановлено особливості їх електропровідностей і значення коефіцієнта об’ємної термо-е.р.с. Згідно знаку термо-е.р.с., всі сполуки належать до напівпровідників n-типу провідності. ; Some electrical and thermoelectrical properties of poorly investigated complex thiospinels Cu2B II Ti3 S 8 (B II –Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni), such as peculiarities of their electroconductivity at 295 K, thermoE.M.P. factor, were determined. The sign of termo-E.M.P. indicates, that all compounds belong to the n-type semiconductors.

Abstract

Склоподібні сплави активовані іонами рідкісноземельних елементів (РЗЕ) становлять значний інтерес для розвитку оптичного зв’язку при виготовленні оптичних підсилювачів і мікролазерів. Особливу увагу приділяють стеклам, легованих ербієм, оскільки довжина хвилі випромінювання іонів ербію (1,54 мкм) є оптимальною для передачі інформації по волоконно-оптичних лініях зв’язку. У спектральному діапазоні 1450 1650 нм при кімнатній температурі досліджено спектри люмінесценції і оптичного поглинання стекол (100 X)Ag0.05 Ga0.05 Ge0.95 S 2 (X)Er2 S 3, де Х = 0,42, 0,25, 0,18 мол. % . Збудження люмінесценції пров едено довжиною хвилі 532 і 980 нм при різній потужності збудження. Вищу інтенсивність люмінесценції при однаковій потужності збудження зафіксовано при зб = 980 нм. Зафіксовану нелінійну залежність інтенсивності фотолюмінесценції від потужності збудження обумовлено апконверсійними процесами. ; Glassy alloys activated by the ions of rare-earth elements (RE) are of considerable interest for development of optical communication and photonics for fabrication of optical amplifiers and microlasers. Special attention has been turned to the glasses that doped with erbium, as wavelength of emission of erbium ions (1.54 μm) is optimum for transferring information via fiber-optic communication lines. Photoluminescence and optical absorption spectra of the glasses (100 X)Ag0.05 Ga0.05 Ge0.95 S 2 (X)Er2 S 3, where Х = 0.42, 0.25, 0.18 mol% Er2 S 3 were investigated in the spectral range 1450 1650 nm at room temperature. Excitation of luminescence was carried out using wavelengths of 532 and 980 nm at various power of excitation. Abstract

It is proposed to install an experimental setup in the fixed-target hall of the Nuclotron with the final goal to perform a research program focused on the production of strange matter in heavyion collisions at beam energies between 2 and 6 A GeV. The basic setup will comprise a large acceptance dipole magnet with inner tracking detector modules based on double-sided Silicon micro-strip sensors and GEMs. The outer tracking will be based on the drift chambers and straw tube detector. Particle identification will be based on the time-of-flight measurements. This setup will be sufficient perform a comprehensive study of strangeness production in heavy-ion collisions, including multi-strange hyperons, multi-strange hypernuclei, and exotic multi-strange heavy objects. These pioneering measurements would provide the first data on the production of these particles in heavy-ion collisions at Nuclotron beam energies, and would open an avenue to explore the third (strangeness) axis of the nuclear chart. The extension of the experimental program is related with the study of in-medium effects for vector mesons decaying in hadronic modes. The studies of the NN and NA reactions for the reference is assumed.

Abstract

A region of glass formation was found during melt quenching from 1273 K in the AgGaSe2+GeS2⟺AgGaS2+GeSe2 system. It is localized along the binary GeSe2-GeS2 system. Characteristic parameters (Tg, Tc, Tm) were determined for the glassy alloys, and Tgr and KG were calculated using them. The radial distribution functions were calculated using the integral Fourier transformation based on X-ray scattering curves. The average interatomic distances within the first and second coordination spheres were determined. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
