The word “nanotechnology” has been exaggerated not only by media but also by scientist groups who have overstated the unforeseen benefits of nanotechnology to validate research funding. Even ecologists, who normally remain indulged in doom-and-gloom divinations, use this word to fuel their own motives. Such outcomes lead to widespread misinformation and an unaware public. This research work is a staunch effort to filter the Twitter-based public opinions related to this word. Our results clearly indicate more of positive sentiments attached to the subject of nanotechnology, as trust, anticipation and joy overweigh by many folds the anger, mistrust and anger related to nanotechnology.

The adsorption phenomenon of toxic sulfur gases namely H2S and SO2 on B40 fullerene is scrutinized utilizing density functional theory-non-equilibrium Green's function (DFT-NEGF) regime. Adsorption of gas molecules is considered at both the hexagonal and heptagonal rings of the fullerene and adsorption energies, charge transfer, electron charge densities, density of states, transmission spectra, molecular energy spectra; Eigen states, HOMO-LUMO gap, current voltage curve, and differential conductance are premeditated. It is inferred that H2S molecule is physisorbed on the heptagonal ring of the fullerene while it is dissociative-chemisorbed on the hexagonal ring. SO2 dissociates into SO and O species on adsorption on both the hexagonal and heptagonal rings. From the transmission spectra and DOS analysis, LUMO dominant transmission is noticed in all the devices except the one formed with heptagonal ring adsorption of H2S which favors HOMO-dominated transmission. From the I-V curve and differential conductance investigation, different conductance values are noticed for all the junctions, thus proving that B40 is an efficient material to be engaged in sensing toxic sulfur gases. In this research article, we contemplate the quantum transport properties through a single molecular junction comprising of Azulene (C10H8) sandwiched between two semi-infinite gold (Au) electrodes and compare the transport properties with its higher derivative Anthracene (C14H10) based device having similar geometrically optimized data. By modeling this device, we evaluate vital transport parameters like current, conductance, transmission spectra, HOMO-LUMO gap and rectification ratio using a combination of non-equilibrium green's function and extended Huckle formalism. We observe that Au-C10H8-Au device exhibit higher current in spite of having lower conductance as compared to Au-C14H10-Au device within a variegated bias range. However, Azulene based device has the advantage of getting fabricated as a molecular wire because the charge transfer through this molecule is comparatively stabilized. This property can allow us to produce a molecular diode, which in turn can give us further insight to design molecular devices which can replicate the conventional semi-conductor devices. The liver is the largest glandular organ of the body. There are large quantities of information about patients and their medical conditions. Generally, data mining is the process of analyzing data from different perspectives and summarizing it into useful information. This paper presents a comprehensive coverage process designed for liver disease patients. In First phase, profiling of liver patients is done, to obtain the dominant liver disease category according to various liver function test values and values of some other tests such as ultrasound, CEA, Fibroscan, HBsAG/HCV Tests. In Second phase, Geographical Distribution of liver patients is analyzed in each profiled disease cluster, to identify sensitive geographical areas where preventive measures can be focused. This paper presents a comprehensive statistical experiment to identify the travel patterns by analysing passport and visa database. This study, provide information about the choice of destination of Indian travellers, they choose for the fulfilment of their specific purpose. Data mining system discovers patterns and relationships hidden in data, and actually is a part of a larger process called "knowledge discovery" which describes the steps that must be taken to ensure meaningful results. The presented work focus on implementing different data mining approaches on passport database which is simulated from embassy and visa database. This paper combines two major approaches to provide profiling of travellers and discovering travel pattern via clustering. According to defined approach, clustering is implemented to profile travellers according to the visa service which was granted by different embassy to the travellers. In this work, a no of different segments are formed on the basis of type of travellers who are travels from one country to another.
