In one of the most important project outcomes in HEPAS (An International Review of the Contributions of School-based Physical Activity, Physical Education, and School Sport to the Promotion of Health-enhancing Physical Activity; Bailey et al., 2022) a quite complex model was built up. The Healthy and Physically Active School Model includes the dimensions and layers that represent the functions and environment of a school from physical activity (PA) promotion point of view. These dimensions are the following ones: 1-3. General categories from regulation level, indirect effects, school values and policies (school values, aims & policies, external information, international, national & local expectations); 4-8. The groups the activities target or can be delivered by (leaders, teachers/staff, students, parents, community); 9-12. The dimensions of the interventions (PA, PE, School Sport, Healthy Lifestyles); 13-17. The transversal dimensions of interventions (Inclusion & Diversity, Professional Development, Facilities, Equipment & Resources, Community Partnerships, Events, Project Weeks, Camps). The dimensions are both surrounded and influenced by the ���social climate��� and the ���physical environment���. This report presents a series of reviews of the scientific literature to summarise the current evidence of the contributions of different school-based settings on the promotion of health-enhancing physical activity. The objectives of this report are: to review evidence from the last ten years of the contributions of school-based physical activity, physical education, and school sport on the promotion of health-enhancing physical activity; to consider the role of certain transversal factors in supporting the promotion of health-enhancing physical activity; to present a series of practical, evidence-based recommendations in support of the subsequent activities in the HEPAS project. The settings are: Physical activity (including Active Breaks; Active Learning; Active Recess; Active Transport; Active Homework); Physical Education (Curriculum physical education Lessons; Teacher Education / Workforce); and School Sport. Samples of the tree fungus Antrodia xantha were collected on Pinus strobus in the therapy garden of the UPK campus (University Psychiatric Clinics) in Basel in summer 2021. The samples contained an alien Ciidae species new to Switzerland: Cis chinensis Lawrence, 1991, a species otherwise mainly known as a storage pest of commercially dried fungi. The adults and larvae of the Basel population are described and illustrated. When comparing the size of the adults of the two sample series collected two weeks apart, statistically significant differences were found. It appears that the above-average temperatures in June 2021 favoured the size of the second group. A number of (4–)5 larval stages are postulated for larval development. As an endoparasitoid of the eggs of C. chinensis, an unknown Mymaridae of the genus Cleruchus was found. Noteworthy was an unusually heavy infestation of Ciidae by phoretic mites (Histiostomatidae). During follow-up surveys in early 2022, additional individuals of C. chinensis were also found on the fruitbodies of other fungi growing in the immediate vicinity of the site where the population of the species was initially observed on A. xantha. A list of all Ciidae detected on the UPK campus is provided, and the spectrum of host-fungi of C. chinensis is discussed.

Basic motor competencies (BMC) belong to the key learning goals of Physical Education (PE) in primary school curricula in Europe. These competencies are necessary to participate in sports inside and outside of school. Children should therefore achieve age-adequate BMC in PE and any need for educational motor support should be identified at an early stage. Studies in German-speaking countries showed that various endogenous and exogenous factors are related to children’s BMC, but international studies are missing. In the present cross-sectional study, the two BMC areas object movement (OM) and self-movement (SM) as well as the associations with endogenous (age, sex, body mass index) and exogenous (participation in extracurricular sports) factors were investigated in 1721 8‑ to 10-year-old primary school children from nine European countries. Over 25% of the children showed need for educational motor support in OM and over 20% in SM. BMC levels differed significantly between the country-specific subsamples. In all subsamples, boys showed better performances in OM, while girls scored better in SM. Older children performed better in OM and SM than younger children. Higher body mass index predicted lower BMC scores in both competence areas. Participation in ball sports was positively associated with OM and SM, and individual sports participation was a significant predictor of SM. As exogenous and endogenous variables consistently predicted BMC in all subsamples, there must be other reasons for variation in BMC levels. Future studies should address country- and school-specific characteristics like content and amount of PE. Deutsche Version Untersuchung des Niveaus und Determinanten der motorischen Basiskompetenzen von Grundschulkindern in neun europäischen Ländern Motorische Basiskompetenzen (basic motor competencies; BMC) gehören zu den wichtigsten Lernzielen des Sportunterrichts in den Lehrplänen der europäischen Grundschulen. Diese Kompetenzen sind notwendig, um innerhalb und außerhalb der Schule Sport treiben zu können. Kinder sollten daher im Sportunterricht altersgemäße BMC erwerben und etwaiger Förderbedarf sollte frühzeitig erkannt werden. Studien im deutschsprachigen Raum zeigten, dass verschiedene endogene und exogene Faktoren mit den BMC der Kinder zusammenhängen, jedoch fehlt es bisher an internationalen Studien. In der vorliegenden Querschnittsstudie wurden die beiden BMC-Bereiche Etwas-bewegen (object movement; OM) und Sich-bewegen (self-movement; SM) sowie deren Zusammenhänge mit endogenen (Alter, Geschlecht, Body-Mass-Index) und exogenen (Teilnahme an außerschulischem Sport) Faktoren bei 1721 8–10-jährigen Grundschulkindern aus neun europäischen Ländern untersucht. Über 25 % der Kinder wiesen Förderbedarf im Bereich OM auf und über 20 % im Bereich SM. Die BMC-Werte unterschieden sich signifikant zwischen den länderspezifischen Stichproben. In allen Teilstichproben zeigten die Jungen bessere Leistungen im OM, während die Mädchen im SM besser abschnitten. Ältere Kinder erbrachten bessere Leistungen als jüngere Kinder. Ein höherer Body-Mass-Index prognostizierte niedrigere BMC-Werte in beiden Kompetenzbereichen. Die Teilnahme an Ballsportarten stand in einem positiven Zusammenhang mit OM und SM, und die Teilnahme an Individualsportarten war ein signifikanter Prädiktor für SM. Da die exogenen und endogenen Variablen die BMC in allen Stichproben übereinstimmend vorhersagten, muss es andere Gründe für die Unterschiede im BMC-Niveau geben. V rámci projektu BMC-EU (Základní pohybové kompetence v Evropě) byla na bázi koncepce základních pohybových kompetencí a výsledků sběru dat vytvořena testová sada pro učitele tělesné výchovy, která využívá běžně dostupné pomůcky, jež jsou v tělocvičně k dispozici. Účelem této sady a přiloženého uživatelského manuálu je nabídnout variabilní didaktický přístup k výuce a vzdělávacímu obsahu tělesné výchovy. V první fázi projektu byla vytvořena testová sada pro diagnostiku základních pohybových kompetencí žáků, aby se hodnocením silných a slabých stránek žáků v dané oblasti vytvořil základ pro možnou intervenci. Na základě tohoto souboru testů byly vyvinuty podklady ve formě vzorové sady didaktických materiálů, připravených k implementaci v konkrétních vzdělávacích situacích, jejichž účelem je rozvoj základních pohybových kompetencí žáků. Předložená sada nástrojů a pomůcek obsahuje manuál pro aplikaci souboru testů a pokyny pro interpretaci výsledků testů MOBAK (Motorische Basiskompetenzen), rámcový popis testové sady MOBAK, glosář a vzorovou podpůrnou sadu nástrojů a pomůcek s materiály pro učitele tělesné výchovy ve formě karet MOBAK. Karty MOBAK popisují činnosti dle principu variace (rozličnosti podnětů) a jsou založeny na přístupu orientovaném na kompetence. V průběhu systematického zajišťování kvality vyvstává stále více otázka, jakých výsledků žáci dosahují v oblasti tělesné výchovy. Ústředními vzdělávacími cíli tělesné výchovy jsou základní pohybové kompetence, které dětem umožňují hrát aktivní roli v pohybově aktivním životním stylu. Nezbytným předpokladem systematického zvyšování základních pohybových kompetencí je tzv. cílená diagnostika. Popisem úrovně pohybových kompetencí dětí se získají informace, které pomáhají učitelům přizpůsobit své výukové strategie individuálním potřebám dětí. In the frame of national project sCO2 Efekt supported by Czech technological agency TAČR, Research Centre Rez (CVR) is developing an innovative, effective and flexible energy storage system. This system is based on the P2H2P (Power to Heat to Power) technology also called Carnot battery, with the utilization of a sCO2 Brayton cycle for heat to power conversion. In frame of the project, the key components of the storage system will be developed and experimentally verified. The key components are mainly the compressors and turbines and the storage tank. To be able to test the compressor and turbine, an experimental test facility called Sofia is also being developed. The main parameters of the Sofia facility are temperature up to 550°C, maximal test pressure of 25MPa and flow rate of about 25kg/s. The highest possible power of the turbine to be tested is up to 1.5MW electrical. Ve společnosti Centrum výzkumu Řež s.r.o. (dále CVŘ) byl vyroben a ověřen nový typ zkušebních těles s realistickými defekty, který je vhodný kromě standardního využití při ověřování navrženého postupu ultrazvukového zkoušení pro použití zejména při ověření softwarových nástrojů modelujících ultrazvukové zkoušení. Nový typ zkušebních těles obsahuje vady, které jsou vyrobeny elektrojiskrovým obráběním pomocí drátu. Aplikovatelnost tohoto typu zkušebních těles byla ověřena na cca 40 zkušebních tělesech z uhlíkové a austenitické oceli o dvou tloušťkách, kdy byly porovnávány výsledky dosažené při ultrazvukovém zkoušení technikou phased array a simulacích v softwaru CIVA. V článku jsou uvedeny informace o výsledcích VaV projektu CVŘ řešeného v letech 2019-2020 v projektu NCK pro energetiku, dílčího projektu DP6 “Vývoj diagnostických metod pro charakterizaci klíčových komponent energetických celků“, pracovního balíčku PB1.14 „Perspektivní diagnostické metody“. Předložený článek vznikl díky projektu podporovaného Technologickou agenturou České republiky TN01000007 v rámci Programu Národní centra kompetence – 1. VS. A new type of test specimens with realistic defects was produced and verified in the Centrum výzkumu Řež s.r.o. (CVŘ) research organization. This type of test specimen is suitable for use in verifying the proposed ultrasonic testing procedure, but especially for verifying software tools for ultrasonic testing modeling. These test specimens contain defects which are produced by electro-spark machining with wire. The possibilities of using this type of test specimens were verified on about 40 test specimens made of carbon and austenitic steel with two thicknesses, when the results obtained in ultrasonic testing by phased array technique and simulations in CIVA software were compared. The paper provides information on the results of CVŘ R&D project solved in 2019-2020 within the NCK project for energy, sub-project DP6 “Development of diagnostic methods for characterization of key components of energy units”, work package PB1.14 “Perspective diagnostic methods”.

Vnitřní části reaktoru (VČR) nejsou komponentou tlakového rozhraní, ale plní důležité bezpečnostní funkce: zabezpečení konfigurace aktivní zóny, zabezpečení funkce řídícího systému reaktoru, zabezpečení proudění média v reaktoru, a dále neutronové a gama stínění materiálů tlakové nádoby reaktoru (TNR). VČR jsou vystaveny celé řadě stresorů: vysoká radiace, vysoká teplota / teplotní změny, tlak, neutronové záření, vibrace, prostředí primárního okruhu způsobujících degradací materiálů. V souvislosti s přechodem na LTO a současnými zvyšování bezpečnostní požadavků vznikl požadavek komplexně řídit stárnutí VČR – v rámci programu řízení stárnutí. Pro reaktory VVER 440 / 1000 provozované v ČR byl implementován komplexní program řízení stárnutí VČR. Reactor internals are not part of the primary circuit pressure boundary but fulfil following safety important functions: support of the core, support of the control rod assemblies, medium flow control, shielding of the reactor pressure vessel. The internals are influenced by several stressors: high gamma and neutron irradiation, high operational temperature, changes of temperature, vibration, primary water environment, pressure. The simultaneous influence of stressors can cause degradation of the internal materials. To ensure functions of the internals during LTO and to fulfil continually increasing safety requirements the complex Aging management program of RPV internals was implemented for VVER 440 / 1000 reactors in Czech Republic.
