In the case of a physical education and sport teacher, the way in which he or she orients his or her mindset can contribute significantly to communicating and working effectively with students and can positively influence the outcomes of the educational process. The aim of this paper is to conduct a comparative analysis of students’ performance on the Y-Balance test, evaluating and comparing their results to identify and understand differences and similarities in functional ability and balance. The objectives of the study: to identify and analyze student balance levels between the experimental group (who played weekly basketball) and the control group (who followed the regular school curriculum); to analyze differences in performance on the Y Balance test between the two groups of students to determine if playing weekly basketball had a significant impact on balance compared to the control group; To differentiate the results of the Y Balance test in the group that practiced basketball during the experimental period (September – December 2023) and the control group that followed the standard school curriculum, in order to highlight possible changes in balance; To analyze and interpret the balance results obtained, providing an understanding of how regular basketball practice can influence students’ balance.

The increase in life expectancy implies a greater attention to the prophylaxis of pathology specific to geriatrics (cardiovascular, osteoarticular) Menopause, a natural process, involves hormonal changes such as insomnia, irritability and anxiety Methods: The batch of this study included 106 women who were divided into 2 groups: the study group (G1) with 54 patients, who followed a program of controlled physical exercises, on land and in water, and the control group (G2) with 52 people, who performed only controlled physical exercises on land. The parameters body mass, height, Body Mass Index), systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, heart rate) were evaluated. (3) Results: After performing physical exercises on land and in water, the systolic blood pressure improved by 11.46% in the G1 group compared to 1.14% in the G2 group, the diastolic blood pressure recorded a reduction of 14.78% in the G1 group and by 0.7% in the G2 group, and heart rate improved by 15.15% in the G1 group compared to 11.84% in the G2 group. (4) Conclusions: Anthropometric and hemodynamic parameters can be improved by regular physical exercises, on land and in water, performed by premenopausal and postmenopausal women. The improvement of blood pressure and heart rate values ​​is due to regular physical exercises, individualized and adapted to the age group and pathology.

In the context of research into physical training and its effects on the human body, spinning exercises in cycling have been the subject of interesting and relevant studies. These workouts, characterized by medium to high intensity, attracted attention due to their ability to generate significant physiological responses. Research hypothesis: It is assumed that by regularly practicing spinning activity can optimize physical condition and increase effort capacity in a short time in high school students. The purpose of the paper is the effectiveness of spinning programs on the body of students proposed for research, namely optimizing physical condition and increasing muscle tone. Study objectives: Identifying spinning programs that correspond to the level of training of subjects; Identification of significant relationships between research variables by statistical calculation; Identifying significant differences between the groups proposed for the research The research was based on two groups: an experimental one consisting of 10 students aged 17 from Petru Rareș High School with one hour of physical education and sports in the school curriculum and a control group consisting of 10 students from the Sports High School with two hours of physical education in the school curriculum.

In the context of this study, the perspectives and experiences of primary school teachers related to the use and impact of hybrid education are explored. Hybrid education, as an educational method combining traditional teaching elements with online resources and tools, has become a topic of major interest in the field of education. Hypothesis of the paper: it is assumed that by analyzing the respondents’ answers to the given questions, relevant conclusions and inferences can be reached about options, experiences or preferences regarding hybrid education and primary education. The purpose of the paper is to investigate the implementation of hybrid education in primary education and to evaluate the experiences and perceptions of physical education and sports teachers. Objectives of the questionnaire: Assessment of the level of knowledge and degree of familiarization of respondents with the concept of hybrid education in the context of primary education; Identifying preferences and previous experiences of respondents in relation to the use or exposure to hybrid education in the educational process; Analysis of respondents’ views and perceptions towards hybrid education in primary education, including perceived benefits and challenges. The majority preference for traditional (face-to-face) education among respondents indicates a continuation of the valorization of direct interaction and personal contact in the educational process, despite the introduction of new and technological educational methods.

The analysis of the development of motor qualities by applying specific means of athletics in natural conditions is an important approach in the field of physical education and sports. Hypothesis of the work: it is assumed that the use of athletics-specific means in natural environments could have a positive impact on the development of students’ motor skills, thus contributing to the improvement of their athletic performance. The aim of the paper is to investigate and evaluate the development of motor qualities, such as speed and strength, in secondary school students, using methods and means specific to athletics. Study objectives: To assess how the application of athletics-specific means in natural environments influences the development of students’ motor skills; Evaluation of the improvement of the speed and strength level of students following the application of these means; Comparison between the progress made by students involved in this type of lessons and those who followed traditional means in terms of improving speed and strength. Thus, the numerical data support the conclusion that the Experiment Group had significant and consistent improvements in physical performance compared to the Control Group in most tests. The integration of varied terrains and natural conditions into physical education lessons allows students to adapt to different environments, thus developing increased adaptability and resilience.

The work started from a desire to develop the motor quality of strength through isometric contraction in high school students. There are data in the literature confirming the benefits of these exercises, but it must be kept in mind that an intense isometric effort maintains a state of maximal cortical cell excitation throughout the contraction period, between 10-12 sec. In a lesson we recommend 6-8 isometric contractions twice a week. In this sense, we assume that strength, as a basic motor quality, can be developed by using the isometric contraction process in high school students leading to increased indices of its manifestation. The aim of the paper is to select the most effective individual and pair isometric exercises for the development of the motor quality of strength in 10th grade students. The experiment was conducted at the Ion Nistor Technological High School in Vicovu de Sus, and from the chosen sample we formed two groups: an experimental group and a control group consisting of 6 boys and 10 girls. The experiment showed that, using specific means of the isometric contraction process, significant results were obtained in both experimental groups compared to the control groups.

Freestyle Wrestling is an acyclic sport, based on a mixed aerobic and anaerobic effort, characterized by intensity, variety and rapid changes of situations. With the change in rules and the dynamisation of wrestling, tactical, low-intensity efforts have disappeared, and the athlete is forced to fight at a sustained pace to avoid disqualification. This is what is known as ‘total combat’. Training and competitions act multilaterally on the fighter’s body, during the specific effort all muscle groups, joints, analysers, the fighter’s entire personality are involved, all with the material support of a remarkable increase in the functions of all the body’s apparatus and systems. We can therefore say that Greco-Roman wrestling is one of the most complex sports, in which, in addition to general and specific endurance, several other qualities are required, such as strength, reaction speed and exceptional skill. The aim of the research is to elaborate and argue the content of the planning of the training process in junior wrestlers (16-17 years old) specific to each period of the annual training cycle, considering the interaction of different aspects. Analyzing the dynamics of different parameters of the level of physical and technical-tactical training of 16-17 years old wrestlers, we found a large difference between the analyzed parameters. Indices of general physical readiness increased considerably during the training period and then stabilized at an optimal level.

The development of students’ motor skills has been a permanent concern of physical education and sport specialists, and has been continuously optimised over the years. In the proposed study we started from the premise that by applying the specific means of badminton game to the experimental class, the level of motor skills development can increase compared to the control class. The study was carried out at the “Al. I. Cuza ” in Fălticeni, Suceava town, in the period September-December 2022. The students participating in the study were from classes a- V, both girls and boys. The aim of the research is to select the most effective means of badminton to develop the motor skills of the students under study in physical education and sports lessons. In secondary school students, the exercises specific to the game of badminton and the game itself allow the development of their motor and mental skills.

Introduction.Recently, the emphasis has been on the problems faced by performance athletes with physical deficiencies of the spine. The aim of the paper is to train coaches in awareness of physical problems, especially of the spine in swimming athletes aged 10-12 years and the development of kinetic programs on land in order to correct them. Material and method. Research on the effectiveness of kinetic programs as means of correction are very numerous and, in this regard, we aim to select the most effective exercises to correct deficiencies acquired by swimmers and change the functional parameters of the cardio-respiratory system during their training. In order to highlight the need for kinetic correction programs, the coach must work in collaboration with the sports doctor and the physiotherapist in order to prevent possible deviations from normal somatic-functional values. Results and discussions. Regarding the estimation of the adaptive possibilities of the cardio-respiratory capacity, hence the need to apply a complex of tests to assess the effort capacity of athletes. Conclusions. In this sense, we will submit to the study the performance group from the University Sports Club from Suceava, and the recovery programs will take place within the Swimming and Kinesiology Complex, Suceava.

The study included the results obtained after questioning the students from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, Suceava. In terms of the transition from the onsite teaching system to the online teaching system, it has raised major issues in learning and how they have been informed. In this regard, we developed a questionnaire with closed questions (with answer options) as well as open-ended questions. We believe that online teaching is a major solution in times of pandemic crisis. This crisis has highlighted many problems, which have imposed on teachers and students a radical change in behavior, mentality.

Introduction. In the literature, nutrition is considered to be the basis for the energy supply in all the forms of physical activity. Energy needs depend on gender, age, body weight and possibly the type of the physical activity. Inadequate energy intake can lead to weight loss, fatigue, lack of concentration and no athletic performance. The constant physical activity involves the consumption of carbohydrates, useful for the formation and storage of muscle glycogen. The development of healthy eating and physical activity behaviors in childhood and adolescence are very important for adult life. That is why an early intervention can lead to healthy behaviors and it can prevent the occurrence of overweight and obesity. Objectives. The purpose of this study was to demonstrate how important a controlled diet is correlated with regular physical activity, in the normal development of young people aged between 19 and 26 years. Conclusions. The attitude is the one that should lead to a food program with a balanced diet that ensures good health, without increasing the percentage of fat, and to cause a weight loss for the young people who want to lose weight.

It is known, certainly, that it is much easier to form a correct attitude than to correct the vicious one, a reason that must determine the approach of prophylactic means of physical therapy and therapeutic swimming. The identification, at an early stage, of the etiological factors responsible for the installation of postural deficiencies, is a determining factor in the management of programs for their maintenance or recovery in children of prepubertal age. The study took place at the Constantinescu Mihai Physiotherapy Office of Suceava and at the Cornișa Botoșani Swimming Complex. It is known that the correct position is formed from childhood, and movement and exercise are the main factors of its construction. In this sense, the paper proposes kinetic recovery and therapeutic swimming programs in order to strengthen the postural status in children during growth and development. In this regard, we have set the following objectives: identification of children with vicious postural attitudes because of the overloads in the prepubertal period and analysis of the scoliosis mechanisms in children of prepubertal age on a vulnerable somato-functional status.

The purpose of this paper is to point out and propose the most effective means of therapeutic swimming in the use of work programs for patients with dorsalgia in spinal static disorders. The knowledge degree of therapeutic swimming is not sufficiently promoted and used, which is why we propose the following hypothesis: we start from the premise that therapeutic swimming can reduce the dorsalgia in the spine, improve lung capacity and physical condition in young adults. The objectives of this work are to identify subjects with spinal static dorsalgia and to establish the sample for the experiment; in the selection of therapeutic swimming means for the elaboration of the work program; in the registration and interpretation of the data in the form of tables and charts. The experiment took place at the Kinetic Therapy Practice of Mr. Constantinescu Mihai, as well as at the swimming pool in Cornisa, Botoşani county, with a sample consisting of 15 subjects aged between 18 and 22, all of whom suffered dorsalgia (in the spine). In this respect, we set out to implement a therapeutic swimming program for 6 months to achieve positive results.

Introduction. Vertebral balance disorders are a health issue for children in general, with long-term consequences. Having in view that the number of new cases with this condition has increased, it is necessary to introduce health programs and it is useful to make a screening for vertebral balance disorders by age groups (prepubertal, pubertal, adolescent). The objective of the study was to evaluate the functional status of the child aged 10-12 and the elaboration of the prophylaxis/ treatment program. The purpose was to draw the attention to the prevalence of vertebral balance disorders in youth, with possible consequences in adulthood. Material and method. The study was conducted for a period of 1 year and included a number of 86 children. After the clinical, anthropometric, somatoscopic evaluation, the recovery plan was elaborated, but also the prophylaxis plan was elaborated for certain cases. The purpose was to create the correct posture reflex, the toning of the paravertebral and abdominal muscles, the increase in the mobility of the joints and the fight against obesity. The kinetic program took place 3 times/ week, with a duration of 30 minutes/ session. Also, the children attended a weekly therapeutic swimming session. Results. It was found in the study group that over 51% were girls, approximately 30.23% of the children were diagnosed with scoliotic attitude, 44.19% with kyphotic attitude and approximately 25.58% had a normal postural attitude. Conclusions. After the use of the physiotherapy program (on the land and in the water), it was found that the general alignment, the concentration capacity and the adaptation to the school activities improved. The existence of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the recovery program is an effective method to obtain beneficial results for health in this age group.

Music and movement are indispensable components of education, both aimed at the harmonious and normal development of the body, strengthening health and cultivating the necessary physical qualities. Together with intellectual, aesthetic, moral education, etc., they constitute a permanence of human life. In the conditions of modern civilization, the combination of intellectual and physical effort becomes a principle of life. This leads to a timely maturation of natural functions and optimal development of the personality of the students. This paper attempts to demonstrate the positive effects of music and movement and to increase children's interest in these hours. Exercises and games, used in music and movement lessons, aim to strengthen health, harmoniously develop all muscle groups, prevent the localization of vicious attitudes, increased physical capacity, morpho-functional indices and general motor skills. The use of moving music must take place in a favourable climate for their mental and biological personality to manifest itself naturally. This climate eliminates shyness, clumsiness and fear of some children's movements during the lesson. Music, regarded as art and science of expression of feelings and ideas using sounds, under the ratio of melody, rhythm and harmony, is characterized by its specific elements, expressed by the properties of sound: height, intensity, timbre, duration.

In the context of the development of information technology and computers we can talk about equipping schools with internet networks, intranet, computers, tablets and mobile phones which contain software that promotes the development of online education successfully and efficiently. The training of chess-playing students is an essential objective in obtaining good results in competitions. In this sense, the theoretical training must be harmoniously combined with the development of psychomotor qualities, and the teacher-trainer must demonstrate a rigorous ability to select methods and means from physical education and sports, as well as those specific to psychomotor skills, necessary to achieve the proposed objectives for an effective training of chess-playing students, both for classical and online competitions. The research was carried out over a period of two months (October, 2020 - December, 2020) on two groups of children aged between 8 and 10 years old, from School No. 17 Botosani, representing the experiment group (28 students) and the control group ( 28 students, too). The methods used in conducting the study were the observation method, the testing method and the statistical-mathematical method.

In middle school education, sports games have always been attractive activities for students. Among the many sports games, we will propose a study to learn the technique of badminton during the COVID 19 pandemic, using online information technology. In this sense, we will focus on learning the basic technical elements, namely: the fundamental position, the movement in a space in a room and the grip of the rocket, without causing injuries. The research took place at the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” Secondary School in Fălticeni, including students (girls and boys) from the 5th and 6th grades. The aim of the study is to correctly master the three fundamental elements of the game of badminton, having a decisive role on the evolution of student players. Through the online program "Google Meet", we imposed a clarification on students, namely: to face the monitor to see how the technique is performed and the number of repetitions. This new way of conducting the teaching-learning process in badminton lessons has many good parts, but we must mention that it also has some less good parts.

At present, in the educative-educational process of the students in the secondary school, the influence of the development of the motor qualities, must be a special attention on the physical education and sports teachers, in order to fulfill the objectives stipulated in the school programs, thus ensuring a minimum of preparation. of these students. Our work is limited to a study on the development of moral qualities, speed, endurance and strength and we wanted to find out the evolution of the students during the three years of school, the 5th grade, the 6th grade and the 7th grade. The paper presents specific means of athletics for each proposed motor quality, pursuing their efficiency in the physical education and sports lessons, during the six semesters. All the means used during the hours of physical education and sports contributed to the achievement of the proposed objectives. The study was organized and conducted within the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" Secondary School from Fălticeni. The testing of the students undergoing the study was carried out both in the open air and in the gymnasium, and the working conditions, testing are the same each time. The specific means of athletics have proven to be attractive by involving the students creating them both physical and mental emulation. The hypothesis from which we started was confirmed, due to the fact that these students were aware of the importance of physical exercise both in the instructional-educational process and in daily life.

Background. The study aims to perform a somatoscopic analysis on a sample of 100 prepubertal children aged 10-14 years, girls and boys, who are diagnosed with scoliosis. Somatoscopic assessment is one of the most commonly used, therefore we thought that making a way of interpreting the results could be useful to monitor postural attitude in children diagnosed with scoliosis. Identifying the early onset of physical impairment in the spine with somatoscopy can be a key factor in maintaining optimal postural status. This approach may help in achieving a way of working that limits the negative effects of scoliosis on the subjects. Materials and methods. The selection of subjects is based on exclusion and inclusion criteria related to age, comorbidities, therapeutic approach, and other criteria. Also, aspects that accompany the growth and development process of children in this prepubertal period and factors that may disturb this process are described in detail. Also in this context, we will present basic notions of body posture and etiopathogenesis of the onset of scoliotic deficiencies in children during this period of growth and development. Somatoscopic analysis is performed in the orthostatic position and is based on the identification of anatomical landmarks of the body concerning body posture. Results. From the total analyzed scoliosis, n = 100, 74% are type „C" scoliosis and only 26% are type „S" and in terms of gender, 59% are girls and 41% boys; type „C1" (Cobb angle <100) scoliosis n = 60, with an angulation < 100 are 43.24% stabilized, therefore type „C1" scoliosis are more likely to be stabilized. „S"-type scoliosis with an angulation < 150 is only 3 cases representing 11.53%, and those with an angulation from < 200 to < 400 are number 23 cases 88.64% which concludes that „S" type scoliosis is more aggressive and more difficult to manage. Conclusions. Our study show that only 13% of the subjects had a regression of the angulation following the kinetotherapy program, therefore the main objective remains to stabilize the scoliosis attitude and limit the effects of this pathology. A regular assessment and somatotopic analysis resulting in a physiotherapy exercises program containing corrective postural postures and postural education is the most beneficial approach to stabilize the postural deficit. This study presents the opinion of some specialists in the field of physical education and sports regarding the importance of dynamic plays addressing music, and the modality in which those are used in the benefit of education. There were five questions formulated to emphasize the familiarity with the term of’’ play’’ or ‘’dynamic play’’, what the dynamic plays represent, what role those plays have in the sports activity, and what impact may have those dynamic plays while playing music, on the students personality. From the view of the statistical investigation of the answers regarding the questions addressed to teachers show low interest using plays and music, the preparation being based on the principles, methods and traditional means, occupying a place with priority in the educational process.

Physical education alongside other fundamental motric activities in the field is an integral part of the measures for harmonious physical development and maintaining an optimal health status for all categories of population. In this study I have studied the extent to which the treatment of the development of the motor quality resistance under all its forms of manifestation through athletic methods has the potential to improve the individual motor ability in the physical education lesson at the level of gymnasium students. I also wanted to implement some resistance development programs in physical education lessons using a number of methodological variants.

This article presents some general aspects that are based on an ongoing study on the choice of therapeutic swimming as a primary means of recovering or rehabilitating postural physical deficiencies in children during growth and development.

Conclusions. The used kinetotherapy program (on land and in water) showed the improvement of the general alignment, the ability of focusing and the adaptation to the school activities. The existence of a multidisciplinary team ensuring the recovery program is an effective method by which the beneficial results can be obtained for the health condition of this age group. Introduction. In the prepubertal period, structural and functional mismatches are recorded, with changes in the bone structure and poor muscle development. There are also changes in the development with the emergence of growth disorders, causing postural deficiencies but also affecting the functions of the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive and nervous system. One of the most serious deficiencies is scoliosis characterized by postural deficiency and muscular hypotonia. The aim of the research is to select the most effective means of therapeutic swimming in order to prevent scoliosis in the "C" left in children in the prepubertal period. Materials and methods. The study evaluated the factors involved in the scoliosis emergence and analyzed somatoscopically and somatofunctionally children in the prepubertal age group who have a tendency to install wrong posture attitudes, namely the scoliosis left in C, which is the most common. A number of 23 children aged 8-11 who could not swim were surveyed. The children were divided into two groups: the group 1, consisting of 12 children to whom were applied kinetic means and also dry - kinetic therapy, and the group 2 of 11 children, to whom were additionally applied therapeutic swimming methods in order to maintain an optimal morpho-functional status. Thus, the waist, the weight, the body weight index, the fingers-soil index and the lateral inclination index were assessed. The functional indicators were also assessed: respiratory and cardiac frequency at rest and in efforts. Results and discussions - The obtained results show the efficiency of the complex program that includes kinetotherapy and therapeutic swimming, as well as its role in the prophylaxis of installing vicious attitudes in this category of children. The respiratory and cardiac functions were improved, as well as the somatic indicators. The following procedures were used to swim: crack, bras, back. Conclusions The kinetotherapeutic treatment together with therapeutic swimming methods allowed the improvement of the somatic and functional parameters. The therapeutic swimming has proved its efficiency in prophylaxis, maintaining or correcting scoliotic attitudes in pre-pubertal children. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
