132 páginas Este trabajo de grado es un análisis descriptivo del Crowdfunding como alternativa de financiamiento para las pequeñas y medianas empresas (PYMES), que ahora, mediante la utilización de las plataformas online, pueden adquirir recursos de manera más rápida y eficiente sin las barreras que impone el sector financiero convencional. La investigación se realiza a partir de definiciones doctrinales y la evolución de la figura, explicando no solo sus elementos principales, sino también su correcto funcionamiento, sus diferentes modalidades y los riesgos inherentes a este tipo de operaciones. Se analizan las normas de: España, Reino Unido, Estados Unidos y Francia, posteriormente el Decreto 1357 del 2018, que reguló len Colombia la financiación colaborativa de proyectos productivos a través de valores. Por esto, se examinó la Ley 964 del 2005. El otro eje de análisis fue la captación masiva y habitual de dinero, la cual es ilegal en Colombia si no se cuenta con la autorización de la Superintendencia Financiera. Se concluye con las reflexiones sobre el marco regulatorio colombiano, su contenido, alcance y los problemas que podrían generarse al aplicar el Decreto. This dissertation work is a descriptive analysis of Crowfunding as a financial alternative for small and medium size companies, which now, thorugh the use of online platforms, can acquire resources faster and more efficiently without the barriers imposed by conventional financial sector. This research is made from doctrinal definitions and the evolution of the figure, explaining not only its main elements, but also its correct functioning, its different modalities and the risks inherent to this type of operations. The regulations of four countries are analyzed; Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States and france, besides 1357 Act of 2018, which regulated in Colombia the collaborative financing of productive projects through securities. Therefore, 964 Act of 2005 was examined. The other axis of analysis was the massive and habitual raise of money, which is illegal in Colombia without the authorization of the Financial Authority. Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is one of the major public health problems worldwide. The objective of the present study is to investigate the prevalence and the associated variables of MetS in Colombian collegiate students. This cross-sectional study included a total of 890 (52% women) healthy collegiate students (21.3 ± 3.2 years old). The prevalence of MetS was determined by the definition provided by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF). We further examined associations between the prevalence of MetS and related factors, such as age, gender, anthropometric and body composition, weight status, and nutrition profile. The overall prevalence of MetS was 6.0% (95% CI = 4.5% to 7.6%), and it was higher in men than women. The most prevalent components were low high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, high triglyceride levels, waist circumference, and blood pressure levels. The predisposing factors for having a MetS included: being male, over 23 years old, overweight or obese, and having an unhealthy waist-to-height ratio. In conclusion, the occurrence of MetS in young adults is substantial. These findings may be relevant to health promotion efforts for collegiate students in order to develop prospective studies and screening for young adults, which will aid in targeted intervention development to decrease cardiometabolic risk factors.

Background: Isometric grip strength, evaluated with a handgrip dynamometer, is a marker of current nutritional status and cardiometabolic risk and future morbidity and mortality. We present reference values for handgrip strength in healthy young Colombian adults (aged 18 to 29 years). Methods: The sample comprised 5. 647 (2. 330 men and 3. 317 women) apparently healthy young university students (mean age, 20. 6±2. 7 years) attending public and private institutions in the cities of Bogota and Cali (Colombia). Handgrip strength was measured two times with a TKK analogue dynamometer in both hands and the highest value used in the analysis. Sex- and age-specific normative values for handgrip strength were calculated using the LMS method and expressed as tabulated percentiles from 3 to 97 and as smoothed centile curves (P3, P10, P25, P50, P75, P90 and P97). Results: Mean values for right and left handgrip strength were 38. 1±8. 9 and 35. 9±8. 6 kg for men, and 25. 1±8. 7 and 23. 3±8. 2 kg for women, respectively. Handgrip strength increased with age in both sexes and was significantly higher in men in all age categories. The results were generally more homogeneous amongst men than women. Conclusions: Sex- and age-specific handgrip strength normative values among healthy young Colombian adults are defined. This information may be helpful in future studies of secular trends in handgrip strength and to identify clinically relevant cut points for poor nutritional and elevated cardiometabolic risk in a Latin American population. [ES] Este artículo presenta una aplicación eficiente de un control por modelo de referencia sobre un robot paralelo. El control utilizado es un control predictivo funcional el cual hace uso de un modelo dinámico simplificado del robot. Las pruebas experimentales son realizadas sobre el robot H4, robot paralelo que posee 3 grados de libertad en translación y un grado de libertad en rotación. Tres estrategias de control son comparadas (PID, control por par calculado y control predictivo funcional), con consignas complejas similares a las utilizadas en procesos de fabricación. Los resultados son analizados desde el punto de vista de seguimiento de trayectorias y de robustez., [EN] This paper presents an efficient application of a model based predictive control scheme in parallel robots. A predictive functional control strategy based on a simplified dynamic model is implemented. Experimental results are shown for the H4 robot, a fully parallel structure providing 3 degrees of freedom (dof) in translation and 1 dof in rotation. Three control strategies are compared (PID, computed torque control and predictive functional control) in complex machining tasks trajectories. Tracking performance and robustness are enlightened.
