With the use of injection molding and 3D printing, materials with complex shapes can be mass-produced with better productivity and quality working efficiency. Proper injection speed, temperature, pressure, and the right mold design are crucial in producing higher-quality products. In order to be competitive with regard to business and marketing in the manufacturing industries, engineers will need to boost productivity and maintain a high standard of quality with efficient manufacturing. This paper discusses the role of injection molding and 3D printing in improving productivity and enabling the efficient manufacturing of products. This study also makes an effort to review the various methods and procedures now in use for 3D printing and injection molding.

The goal of this paper is about to assemble a printed circuit board-cutting machine. The contemporary evolution in digital technology particularly embedded systems have now enabled us to make designing and implementing an automatic printed circuit board-cutting machine. This machine takes Printed Circuit Board from one side and cut it into two separate pieces, in essential size and shape. This paper presents a simple way that will reduce human work and improves accuracy of cutting the printed circuit board. System will minimize PCB damage chances by blades using the fabrication and covering. Cutting is separation of physical object, into two or more portions, through the application of an acutely directed force. However, any sharp object is capable of cutting if it has a hardness sufficiently larger than the object being cutting, when it applied with sufficient force. Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is a non-conventional machining process, which is popular to make dies and moulds in manufacturing industry. This paper presents the machining work of powder mixed EDM on HcHcr D2 tool steel, which produces better results than conventional process. MMC electrodes are widely used in the industry therefore attempt has been made to see the effect of Al SiC composite in PMEDM. Nickel and chromium powders were used as additives in dielectric fluid. Pulse on time, current, voltage and duty cycle of EDM were chosen as design variables to see the effect on response factors in terms of Material Removal Rate (MRR) and Tool Wear Rate (TWR). Full factorial design and ANOVA has been used to plan and analyse the experiment. The most important variables affecting selected response measures are identified and effects of additive variations have been observed. Result shows the positive influence of the Nickel and Chromium powders for the improvement of material removal rate and tool were rate. The parametric optimization’s results from this study will be useful for EDM industry to select appropriate design parameters and levels.
