Com a globalização da Internet e a sua constante presença na vida de todos os utilizadores, houve grandes mudanças na vida dos utilizadores como novas formas de adquirir produtos, uma delas é permitir ao utilizador poder fazer as suas compras "online", o chamado "e-commerce", este conceito é bastante útil para os consumidores poderem fazer as suas compras sem ter que sair do conforto da sua habitação. Neste projeto pretendemos foi efetuado um estudo de forma a perceber quais os fatores que influenciam os consumidores a fazerem as suas compras de equipamentos informáticos / telecomunicações em lojas virtuais. Neste âmbito foi efetuada uma revisão da literatura de modo a conhecer o paradigma atual. Para identificarmos a opinião do consumidor foi feito um questionário e distribuído por e-mail e por redes sociais, de modo a perceber quais os fatores que tinham mais influência. Após a recolha de dados, foram tratados com a ferramenta SPSS, tendo obtido três principais categorias: Condições e Imagem, Produtos e Entregas e por último Design e Usabilidade do "website". With the Internet globalization and its constant presence in all the users’ lives, there were great changes in what is concerned with their way to buy products; this new tool allows them to make online purchases (commonly known as e-commerce). The possibility of buying all the kinds of items online is particularly useful because there is no need to leave the comfort of their houses. In this project, we intend to make a study so that we can understand which are the aspects that influence the consumers to buy computer equipment and telecommunications in virtual stores. In this sphere, it was made a literature review in order to know the actual paradigm on the matter, and with the aim to determine the users’ opinion, it was elaborated a survey, which was distributed by email and within the social networks. After this collection, the data was processed with a tool named SPSS, and it was obtained three main categories: Conditions and Image, Products and Deliveries, and finally Website design/ usability.

Previous studies of supply chain management systems have attempted to focus on transportation, logistics, storage space planning, and time-to-delivery. The biggest challenge for large organisations like the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa, which has a presence throughout South Africa, is trying to manage all stores efficiently and effectively. This article looks at these challenges, and provides a virtual store framework model to understand the scope and magnitude of an integrated logistics model approach. Geographical information systems were applied to the virtual store to determine an efficient route for transporting components between stores. Furthermore, the authors identified the major aspects and impacts of a virtual store system in a rail passenger transport operation. This was done through on-site studies and a review of the literature on virtual stores. The model was tested on a case study that produced results that include time and cost as the variables for decision-making.

Las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Información TIC, han revolucionado la forma en cómo los seres humanos se relacionan en el mundo, incluyendo la venta y compra de productos y servicios. Las tiendas virtuales y los negocios electrónicos superan las expectativas de compradores online de al menos un producto en el país, según el Observatorio de Compra Online de la CCCE. Colombia es unos de los países donde se encuentra pronosticado el crecimiento de las ventas on line, ya que se cuenta con la facilidad, seguridad, variedad de productos, y la experiencia de la compra por estos medios. A pesar de que es uno de los países que se encuentra en proceso de madurez para las compras on line, porque existen productos con los que aún no hay familiarización como son: la compra de productos perecederos, medicamentos o vehículos, se observa crecimiento en la compra de ropa, accesorios, productos de tecnología y productos de la canasta familiar.Esta investigación propone analizar las razones que llevan a realizar o no una compra on line, específicamente en la aplicación Rappi frente a las compras realizadas en un supermercado. New information technologies have revolutionized how human beings relate to the world, including the sale and purchase of products and services. Virtual stores and e-businesses surpass the expectations of online buyers of at least one product in the country, according to the CCCE Online shopping observatory. Colombia is one of the countries where the growth of online sales is forecast, since it is found the ease, the security, the variety of products, and the experience of the purchase by these means. Although we are one of the countries that is in the process of maturity for online purchases, because there are products that we are not yet familiar with: the purchase of perishable products, drugs or vehicles, we are growing in the Buy clothes, accessories, technology products and family basket products. This research proposes to analyze the reasons that lead to make or not a buy on line, specifically in the application Rappi in front of the purchases made in a supermarket. Background: The best manner to prevent suicide is to recognize suicidal signs and signals, and know how to respond to them. Objective: We aim to study the existing mobile apps for suicide prevention in the literature and the most commonly used virtual stores. Methods: Two reviews were carried out. The first was done by searching the most commonly used commercial app stores, which are iTunes and Google Play. The second was a review of mobile health (mHealth) apps in published articles within the last 10 years in the following 7 scientific databases: Science Direct, Medline, PsycINFO, Embase, The Cochrane Library, IEEE Xplore, and Google Scholar. Results: A total of 124 apps related to suicide were found in the cited virtual stores but only 20 apps were specifically designed for suicide prevention. All apps were free and most were designed for Android. Furthermore, 6 relevant papers were found in the indicated scientific databases; in these studies, some real experiences with physicians, caregivers, and families were described. The importance of these people in suicide prevention was indicated. Conclusions: The number of apps regarding suicide prevention is small, and there was little information available from literature searches, indicating that technology-based suicide prevention remains understudied. Many of the apps provided no interactive features. It is important to verify the accuracy of the results of different apps that are available on iOS and Android. The confidence generated by these apps can benefit end users, either by improving their health monitoring or simply to verify their body condition. [JMIR Mhealth Uhealth 2017;5(10):e130]

Research Problem – The effects of digitalization had a huge impact on people’s everyday life. With increased use of internet, E-Commerce became hugely popular and pressurized classic brick and mortar retailers. However, the grocery market is one of the few markets without a remarkable share of online sales. Recently various players entered the small but promising market. Still, it is not foreseeable which player and which kind of sales approach will prevail and retailers are searching for innovative, business approaches that help customers to find their way into online grocery shops. Tesco carried out one propitious sales approach – they established Virtual Stores in Metro Stations where commuters could shop for their groceries on their way to work including a convenient delivery after finishing time. Purpose of the Study – This dissertation strives to identify the potential of Tesco’s Virtual Stores approach for commercial uses in German online and mobile grocery retailing and determines if there is an adequate target group, which is likely to use Virtual Stores to do their everyday grocery shopping. In addition, another aim is to understand the motivation of consumers to use Virtual Stores and to develop a model in order to predict their behaviour. Design/Methodology/Approach – A quantitative baseline study (n=259) is stating the basis of the present study, in order to test the research hypothesis grounded on a literature review of secondary research. Descriptive, bivariate and multivariate analysis have been accomplished to infer meaningful results. Findings/Implications – There is a high number of potential Virtual Stores users among the respondents. Their Behavioural Intention to use Virtual Stores can be measured by their perception of the performance of Virtual Stores, the degree to which they think shopping with Virtual Stores is fun, the degree to which they perceive online grocery shopping is common, their personal openness towards new information technology and their involvement concerning grocery shopping. Com o aumento da utilização da Internet, E-Commerce tornou-se imensamente popular e colocou os retailers sob pressão. No entanto, o mercado de mercearia é um dos poucos mercados sem uma parte considerável de vendas on-line. Recentemente vários competidores entraram neste mercado pequeno, mas promissor. Ainda assim, não é previsível que concorrente e que tipo de abordagem de vendas vai prevalecer e os retailers estão a procurar abordagens de negócios inovadoras, que ajudem os clientes a encontrar o seu caminho em mercearias on-line. Tesco realizou uma abordagem de vendas propícia - eles estabeleceram lojas virtuais em estações de metro, onde os passageiros poderiam fazer as compras dos seus mantimentos no seu caminho para o trabalho, incluindo a conveniente entrega após o seu fim. Objetivo do estudo – Esta dissertação procura identificar o potencial da abordagem das Lojas Virtuais da Tesco, para usos comerciais no retail online e móvel Alemão; e determinar se existe um grupo-alvo adequado, que seja provável de usar lojas virtuais para fazer suas compras de supermercado do quotidiano. Além disso, outro objetivo é entender a motivação do consumidor para usar lojas virtuais e desenvolver um modelo para prever seu comportamento. Constatações / Implicações - Existe um elevado número de potenciais utilizadores de lojas virtuais entre os entrevistados. A sua intenção comportamental de usar lojas virtuais pode ser medida pela sua percepção do desempenho de lojas virtuais, o grau em que acham que fazer compras com lojas virtuais é divertido, o grau em que percebem que fazer compras de supermercado on-line é comum, a sua abertura pessoal para nova Tecnologia da Informação (IT) e o seu envolvimento no que diz respeito às compras de supermercado. The terms window shopping and showrooming refer to the activity in which potential buyers visit a brick-and-mortar store to examine a product but end up either not buying it or buying the product from an online retailer. This paper analyzes potential buyers who differ in their preference for after-sale service that is not offered by online retailers. For some buyers, making a trip to the brick-and-mortar store is costly; however, going to the store to examine the product has the advantage of mitigating the uncertainty as to whether the product will suit the buyer's needs. The model shows that the number of buyers engaged in window shopping behavior exceeds the optimal number, both under duopoly and under joint ownership of the online and walk-in store outlets.
