Liquid biopsy analysis of miRNAs is a fast-developing field with a considerable likelihood to predict tumor progression and metastasis by targeting genes involved in oncogenesis.Patients and Methods: Differential expression analysis of miRNAs profile in CRPC patients was performed by creating small RNA libraries of circulating miRNAs using HiSeq2500 Illumina platform. A secondary analysis of aligned reads with miRNA identification and quantification was performed using miARmaSeq. Using the Bowtie algorithm, the selected variants were compared to reference nucleotide sequence GRCh38 and miRbase. Novel miRNA sequences were structurally analyzed using mirDeep2®.Results: A total of 16 patients with CRPC were included for analysis. Identified circulating miRNAs were hsa-miR-885-3p, hsa-miR-4467, hsa-miR-4686, hsa-miR-146a-3p, hsa-miR-6514-5p. Genes identified as regulated by these miRNAs were GPR56, BDNF, CTNND1, C17orf62, and DTNA.Conclusion: We explored the miRNA expression profile in patients with CRPC, identifying five miRNAs implicated in the regulation of genes involved in prostate cancer (PCa) oncogenesis and progression. 2. Null geodesics around a black hole with weakly coupled global monopole charge

Abstract: In this paper, we study an asymptotically flat black hole spacetime with weakly nonminimally coupled monopole charge. We analytically and numerically investigate light ray propagation around such a black hole by employing the common Lagrangian formalism. Our analysis encompasses both radial and angular geodesics, for which we present analytical solutions in terms of incomplete Lauricella hypergeometric functions. Additionally, we explore the impact of the coupling constant on geodesic motion. Based on observations from the Event Horizon Telescope, we constrain the black hole parameters, resulting in a coupling constant range of $-0.5 M^2\lesssim \alpha\lesssim 0.5 M^2$. Abstract: A particular generalization of the Chaplygin inflationary model, using the formalism of Hamilton-Jacobi and elliptic functions, results in a more general non-linear Chaplygin-type equation of state (Chaplygin-Jacobi model). We investigate the implementation of this model as a dark energy (DE) fluid to explain the recent acceleration of the universe. Unlike $\Lambda$CDM and other Chaplygin-like fluids, where the final fate of the universe is an eternal de Sitter (dS) phase, the dynamics of this model allow for the possibility of a decelerating phase in the future, following the current accelerating phase. In other words, a transient acceleration arises, accounting for the recently claimed slowing down phenomenon. This Chaplygin-Jacobi model shows important differences compared to the standard and generalized Chaplygin gas models. Additionally, we perform a Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) analysis using several datasets, including Type Ia Supernovae (SnIa), Cosmic Chronometers (CC), and Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs), to examine the observational viability of the model. 4. Black hole in a generalized Chaplygin-Jacobi dark fluid: shadow and light deflection angle

Abstract: We investigate a generalized Chaplygin-like gas with an anisotropic equation of state, characterizing a dark fluid within which a static spherically symmetric black hole is assumed. By solving the Einstein equations for this black hole spacetime, we explicitly derive the metric function. The spacetime is parametrized by two critical parameters, $\mathcal{B}$ and $\alpha$, which measure the deviation from the Schwarzschild black hole and the extent of the dark fluid's anisotropy, respectively. We explore the behavior of light rays in the vicinity of the black hole by calculating its shadow and comparing our results with the Event Horizon Telescope observations. This comparison constrains the parameters to $0 \leq \mathcal{B} < 0.03$ and $0 < \alpha < 0.1$. Additionally, we calculate the deflection angles to determine the extent to which light is bent by the black hole. These calculations are further utilized to formulate possible Einstein rings, estimating the angular radius of the rings to be approximately $37.6\,\mathrm{\mu as}$. Abstract: Monochromatic gamma-ray signals constitute a potential smoking gun signature for annihilating or decaying dark matter particles that could relatively easily be distinguished from astrophysical or instrumental backgrounds. We provide an updated assessment of the sensitivity of the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) to such signals, based on observations of the Galactic centre region as well as of selected dwarf spheroidal galaxies. We find that current limits and detection prospects for dark matter masses above 300 GeV will be significantly improved, by up to an order of magnitude in the multi-TeV range. This demonstrates that CTA will set a new standard for gamma-ray astronomy also in this respect, as the world's largest and most sensitive high-energy gamma-ray observatory, in particular due to its exquisite energy resolution at TeV energies and the adopted observational strategy focussing on regions with large dark matter densities. Throughout our analysis, we use up-to-date instrument response functions, and we thoroughly model the effect of instrumental systematic uncertainties in our statistical treatment. 7. Spherical particle orbits around a rotating black hole in massive gravity

Abstract: In this paper, we present a rotating de Rham-Gabadadze-Tolley black hole with a positive cosmological constant in massive gravity, achieved by applying a modified Newman-Janis algorithm. The black hole exhibits stable orbits of constant radii, prompting a numerical study on the behavior of the solutions to a nonic equation governing the radii of planar orbits around the black hole. Additionally, we investigate the stability of orbits near the event horizon and provide a comprehensive analytical examination of the solutions to the angular equations of motion. 8. Carath\'eodory's thermodynamics of the Schwarzschild black hole surrounded by quintessence

Abstract: In this paper, we apply the Carath\'eodory's method of geometrothermodynamics to investigate the behavior of the main thermodynamic parameters associated with a Schwarzschild black hole surrounded by quintessence. The corresponding Pfaffian form is constructed by means of the Schwarzschild radius $r_s$, and the quintessential radius $r_{\gamma}$ as independent variables. This form is then used to characterize the thermodynamic manifold. The homogeneity of the system allows for the recognition of the empirical temperature and entropy, and thus, connects with the usual laws of thermodynamics. In particular, we show that the Helmholtz and Gibbs free energies lead to the same value for the Schwarzschild black hole, in the case of the vanishing cosmological term., Comment: 9 pages, 7 figures

10. Spherical photon orbits around a rotating black hole with quintessence and cloud of strings

Abstract: In this paper, we calculate the analytical solutions for the radii of planar and polar spherical photon orbits around a rotating black hole that is associated with quintessential field and cloud of strings. This includes a full analytical treatment of a quintic that describes orbits on the equatorial plane. Furthermore, The radial profile of the impact parameters is studied and the radii corresponding to the extreme cases are derived. For the more general cases, we also discuss the photon regions that form around this black hole. To simulate the orbits that appear in different inclinations, we analytically solve the latitudinal and azimuth equations of motion in terms of the Weierstrassian elliptic functions, by considering the radii of spherical orbits, in their general form, as the initial conditions. 11. Study of null and time-like geodesics in the exterior of a Schwarzschild black hole with quintessence and cloud of strings

Abstract: Recently, an analytical study of radial and circular orbits for null and time-like geodesics that propagate in the spacetime produced by a Schwarzschild black hole associated with cloud of strings, in a universe filled by quintessence, has been done in Ref. \cite{Mustafa:2021}. In this paper, we complete the aforementioned study by investigating possible analytical solutions to the equations of motion for other types of bound orbits, besides taking into account the cases of unbound orbits. This requires an extensive study of the corresponding effective potentials that categorize the test particle motion. We follow the standard Lagrangian dynamics to parametrize the radial and angular geodesics and the resultant (hyper-)elliptic integrals of motion are treated accordingly. Abstract: In this paper, we concern about applying general relativistic tests on the spacetime produced by a static black hole associated with cloud of strings, in a universe filled with quintessence. The four tests we apply are precession of the perihelion in the planetary orbits, gravitational redshift, deflection of light, and the Shapiro time delay. Through this process, we constrain the spacetime's parameters in the context of the observational data, which results in about $\sim 10^{-9}$ for the cloud of strings parameter, and $\sim 10^{-20}$ m$^{-1}$ for that of quintessence. Abstract: In this letter we use the Carath\'{e}odory's approach to thermodynamics, to construct the thermodynamic manifold of the Hayward black hole. The Pfaffian form representing the infinitesimal heat exchange reversibly is considered to be $\delta Q_{\mathrm{rev}}\equiv {\rm d}r_s-\mathcal{F}_H {\rm d}l$, previously obtained by Molina \& Villanueva \cite{fmv20}, where $r_s$ is the Schwarzschild radius, $l$ is the Hayward's parameter responsible for the possible regularization of the Schwarzschild black hole, and $\mathcal{F}_H$ is the intensive variable called the Hayward's force. By solving the associated Cauchy problem, the adiabatic paths are confined to the non-extremal manifold, and therefore, the status of the second and third laws are preserved. Consequently, the extremal sub-manifold corresponds to the {adiabatically disconnected} boundary of the manifold. In addition, the merger of two extremal Hayward black holes is analyzed.

Abstract: The Generalized Chaplygin Gas (GCG) model is characterized by the equation of state $P = -A \rho^{-\alpha}$, where $A>0$ and $\alpha < 1$. The model has been extensively studied due to its interesting properties and applicability in several contexts, from late-time acceleration to primordial inflation. Nonetheless we show that the inflationary slow-roll regime cannot be satisfied by most of the parameter space of the GCG model when General Relativity (GR) is considered. In particular, although the model has been applied to inflation with $0 < \alpha < 1$, we show that for $-1 < \alpha \le 1$ there is no expansion of the Universe but an accelerated contraction. For $\alpha \le -5/3$, the second slow-roll parameter $\eta_H$ is larger than unity, so there is no sustained period of inflation. Only for $\alpha$ very close to -1 the model produces enough $e$-folds, thus greatly reducing its parameter space. Moreover, we show that the model is ruled out by the Planck 2018 results. Finally, we extend our analysis to the Generalized Chaplygin-Jacobi Gas (GCJG) model. We find that the introduction of a new parameter does not change the previous results. We thus conclude that the violation of the slow-roll conditions is a generic feature of the GCG and GCJG models during inflation when GR is considered and that the models are ruled out by the Planck 2018 results., Comment: Accepted for publication in JCAP. 19 pages. 9 figures

Abstract: This paper describes the Polarimetric and Helioseismic Imager on the Solar Orbiter mission (SO/PHI), the first magnetograph and helioseismology instrument to observe the Sun from outside the Sun-Earth line. It is the key instrument meant to address the top-level science question: How does the solar dynamo work and drive connections between the Sun and the heliosphere? SO/PHI will also play an important role in answering the other top-level science questions of Solar Orbiter, as well as hosting the potential of a rich return in further science. SO/PHI measures the Zeeman effect and the Doppler shift in the FeI 617.3nm spectral line. To this end, the instrument carries out narrow-band imaging spectro-polarimetry using a tunable LiNbO_3 Fabry-Perot etalon, while the polarisation modulation is done with liquid crystal variable retarders (LCVRs). The line and the nearby continuum are sampled at six wavelength points and the data are recorded by a 2kx2k CMOS detector. To save valuable telemetry, the raw data are reduced on board, including being inverted under the assumption of a Milne-Eddington atmosphere, although simpler reduction methods are also available on board. SO/PHI is composed of two telescopes; one, the Full Disc Telescope (FDT), covers the full solar disc at all phases of the orbit, while the other, the High Resolution Telescope (HRT), can resolve structures as small as 200km on the Sun at closest perihelion. The high heat load generated through proximity to the Sun is greatly reduced by the multilayer-coated entrance windows to the two telescopes that allow less than 4% of the total sunlight to enter the instrument, most of it in a narrow wavelength band around the chosen spectral line., Comment: 36 pages, 41 figures

Abstract: Particle physics has an ambitious and broad experimental programme for the coming decades. This programme requires large investments in detector hardware, either to build new facilities and experiments, or to upgrade existing ones. Similarly, it requires commensurate investment in the R&D of software to acquire, manage, process, and analyse the shear amounts of data to be recorded. In planning for the HL-LHC in particular, it is critical that all of the collaborating stakeholders agree on the software goals and priorities, and that the efforts complement each other. In this spirit, this white paper describes the R&D activities required to prepare for this software upgrade.

Abstract: In this paper the Lagrangian density of a purely kinetic k--essence that models the behavior of dark energy described by four parameterized equations of state proposed by Cooray \& Huterer (Astrophys. J. {\bf 513} L95, 1999), Zhang \& Wu (Mod. Phys. Lett. A {\bf 27} 1250030, 2012), Linder (Phys. Rev. Lett. {\bf 90} 091301, 2003), Efstathiou (Mon. Not. Roy. Astron. Soc. {\bf 310} 842, 2000), and Feng \& Lu (J. Cosmol. Astropart. Phys. {\bf 1111} 034, 2011) has been reconstructed. This reconstruction is performed using the method outlined by de Putter \& Linder (Astropart.\ Phys.\ {\bf 28} 263, 2007), which makes it possible to solve the equations that relate the Lagrangian density of the k--essence with the given equation of state (EoS) numerically. Finally, we discuss the observational constraints for the models based on 586 SNIa data points from the LOSS data set compiled by Ganeshalingam et al. (Mon. Not Roy. Astron. Abstract: The Cherenkov Telescope Array, CTA, will be the major global observatory for very high energy gamma-ray astronomy over the next decade and beyond. The scientific potential of CTA is extremely broad: from understanding the role of relativistic cosmic particles to the search for dark matter. CTA is an explorer of the extreme universe, probing environments from the immediate neighbourhood of black holes to cosmic voids on the largest scales. Covering a huge range in photon energy from 20 GeV to 300 TeV, CTA will improve on all aspects of performance with respect to current instruments. The observatory will operate arrays on sites in both hemispheres to provide full sky coverage and will hence maximize the potential for the rarest phenomena such as very nearby supernovae, gamma-ray bursts or gravitational wave transients. With 99 telescopes on the southern site and 19 telescopes on the northern site, flexible operation will be possible, with sub-arrays available for specific tasks. CTA will have important synergies with many of the new generation of major astronomical and astroparticle observatories. Multi-wavelength and multi-messenger approaches combining CTA data with those from other instruments will lead to a deeper understanding of the broad-band non-thermal properties of target sources. The CTA Observatory will be operated as an open, proposal-driven observatory, with all data available on a public archive after a pre-defined proprietary period. Scientists from institutions worldwide have combined together to form the CTA Consortium. This Consortium has prepared a proposal for a Core Programme of highly motivated observations. 41. Stable Gravastars: Guilfoyle's electrically charged solutions

Abstract: Compelling alternatives to black holes, namely, gravitational vacuum star ({\it gravastar}) models, the multilayered structure compact objects, have been proposed to avoid a number of theoretical problems associated with event horizons and singularities. In this work, we construct a spherically symmetric thin-shell charged gravastar model where the vacuum phase transition between the de Sitter interior and the external Reissner--Nordstr$\ddot{\text{o}}$m spacetime (RN) are matched at a junction surface, by using the cut-and-paste procedure. Gravastar solutions are found among the Guilfoyle exact solutions where the gravitational potential $W^2$ and the electric potential field $\phi$ obey a particularly relation in a simple form $ a\left(b-\epsilon \phi \right)^2 +b_1$, where $a$, $b$ and $b_1$ being arbitrary constants. The simplest ansatz of Guilfoyle's solution is implemented by the following assumption: that the total energy density $8\pi \rho_m+\frac{Q^2}{ r^4}$ = constant, where $Q(r)$ is the electric charge up to a certain radius $r$. We show that, for certain ranges of the parameters, we can avoid the horizon formation, which allows us to study the linearized spherically symmetric radial perturbations around static equilibrium solutions. Abstract: In this paper we show that the golden ratio is present in the Schwarzschild-Kottler metric. For null geodesics with maximal radial acceleration, the turning points of the orbits are in the golden ratio $\Phi = (\sqrt{5}-1)/2$. This is a general result which is independent of the value and sign of the cosmological constant $\Lambda$.
