LIPID analysis ,DAIRY products ,FATS & oils ,FAT ,LIPIDS - Abstract
Investigations into everyday food practices during the Umm an‐Nar period (c.2700–2000 bc) in the Oman Peninsula are limited. We studied lipid residues in pottery from Salūt‐ST1, an Umm an‐Nar stone tower in central Oman, to understand domestic practices and vessel use in locally‐produced Sandy Wares, regionally‐produced Fine Red Omani Wares and imported Indus Black‐Slipped Jars between c. 2460–2150 bc. Degraded animal fats were found in a majority of the vessels, and we report the first direct detection of dairy products in Umm an‐Nar vessels. The use of non‐ruminant fats, plants and/or mixtures of different products is also suggested. Variations in lipid concentrations and contents of Fine Red Omani Wares and Sandy Wares suggest different uses for these vessel categories. Finally, the detection of a range of products (ruminant meat, dairy fats, non‐ruminant fats and mixtures) in Indus Black‐Slipped Jars from the site indicates vessel multifunctionality and reuse of the vessels. - Abstract
Ratios of glycerol dialkyl glycerol tetraethers (GDGT), which are membrane lipids of bacteria and archaea, are at the base of several paleoenvironmental proxies. They are frequently applied to soils as well as lake- and marine sediments to generate records of past temperature and soil pH. To derive meaningful environmental information from these reconstructions, high analytical reproducibility is required. Based on submitted results by 39 laboratories from across the world, which employ a diverse range of analytical and quantification methods, we explored the reproducibility of brGDGT-based proxies (MBT′5ME, IR, and #ringstetra) measured on four soil samples and four soil lipid extracts. Correct identification and integration of 5- and 6-methyl brGDGTs is a prerequisite for the robust calculation of proxy values, but this can be challenging as indicated by the large inter-interlaboratory variation. The exclusion of statistical outliers improves the reproducibility, where the remaining uncertainty translates into a temperature offset from median proxy values of 0.3–0.9°C and a pH offset of 0.05–0.3. There is no apparent systematic impact of the extraction method and sample preparation steps on the brGDGT ratios. Although reported GDGT concentrations are generally consistent within laboratories, they vary greatly between laboratories. This large variability in brGDGT quantification may relate to variations in ionization efficiency or specific mass spectrometer settings possibly impacting the response of brGDGTs masses relative to that of the internal standard used. While ratio values of GDGT are generally comparable, quantities can currently not be compared between laboratories.

inclusive education ,schools ,implementation ,teaching staffs ,learning resources - Abstract
According to the principle of inclusion, everybody has an inherent right to participate fully in society. Inclusion requires the acceptance of differences. It allows for the inclusion of individuals who would otherwise be denied educational opportunities critical to the development and growth of all students. This study aimed to scrutinize and assess the availability of teaching and learning resources for the implementation of inclusive education at the selected elementary schools in the Division of Agusan del Sur and the Division of Tandag City, Surigao del Sur, Philippines. In order to determine the accessibility of teaching and learning resources and teachers' attitudes toward considering students' assistance needs in the classroom setting, this study would analyze the critical factors in determining whether inclusive education is successfully implemented or unsuccessfully. To collect data for this study, a descriptive survey research design was used. The permanent teachers were the study's target group and its respondents. The introduction of inclusive education at the participating schools will improve curriculum delivery, cater to the requirements of students who require special help, and increase student enrollment and retention at the said schools. The majority of the 150 teachers who responded to the statements and gave their opinions strongly agreed with the assertion. The implementation of inclusive education depends on the availability of teaching and learning resources, which has a detrimental effect.

- Abstract
The aim of the project is to develop an innovative palaeo-proxy approach to investigate the natural range of variability of the Hadley circulation during past episodes of extreme warmth and cold. The approach relies on the exploitation as climate proxy of an untapped but widespread material in marine sediments: windborne pyrogenic carbon (PyC) derived from savannah and grassland fires in the tropics. Through the geochemical and isotopic spatial characterization of PyC, along with the analysis of mineral dust in the modern tropical deep ocean, and a PyC biogeochemical model, we will build an interpretative framework of PyC deposition in deep-sea sediments. Its application in Pliocene-Pleistocene sequences from the Atlantic and the Pacific will allow the reconstruction of past meridional and zonal shifts in the Intertropical Convergence Zone and the Southern hemisphere westerlies, and provide new constraints on the natural variability of the Hadley circulation and associated hydroclimates

Anorèxia ,Anorexia - Abstract
Our goal is to analyze the images to try to deduce what are the social and cultural patterns that persist in our society and which hold ideas associated with anorexia (creating a visual cultural criticism focused on the visual forms of the body and of the photographic ones of the mass-media, that allow us to certain clues in the social construction of these physical stereotypes), in an interpretative approach, from which it derives a qualitative methodology and of Photography-Based Educational Research (allows to debate and evaluate the possibilities of the images in the research activity). The image constructed about the own body by a person evolves during the whole vital cycle, then, in the configurations elaborated in the early stages of life, is fundamental to influence in some competences that allow children properly interpret visual messages provided by the sociocultural environment.

"As if it were possible to collect suffering" is a project of the artist Anna Manel.la and it was considered an interesting proposal and a challenge to talk, share and create with the students on the topic of exposition: death and suffering. Futhermore. As she is an artist known by the Pigment School students, as she previously had made a sculpture project sponsorship and she regularly participates in informative programs at school. The work is focused on the creation and artistic research as the main processes of conceptualization in order to meet the dynamism and stimuli characteristic of children. Facilitating search processes, exploration and manipulation without conditions and promoting autonomous processes in wich the children themselves develop doubts and questions in order to face increasingly complex situation

Our starting point is the conviction, based on evidence, that artistic and cultural competence is fundamental to the preparation of pupils. This kind of skill cannot be guar- anteed by educators that have not trained in the following skills: multiculturalism, emotion, sensitivity, critique, research, communication, creation, didactics and inclusion (from art, through art, for art). We decided to open our discourse between reality and desire, summarising in a few pages not what it is now, but what it could be if we renounce the disaggregation and hierarchical prioritisation of knowledge and if we decide to implement a new educational paradigm that values skills that transcend a single discipline. Artistic and cultural competence is necessarily connected to other key skills: logic/mathematics (spatial representation, at least), communication (to which it pertains, and linked to technology) and, obviously, to the skills of personal and citizenship values, and to cultural and social values. We could materialise these desires if we met some basic and relatively easy conditions that we underscore.

- Abstract
Cultural expressions of the Indian communities, artistic activities, customs and traditions are protected by laws of the state than define their protection and without a doubt for accounting to promote them, the reality is too much complex for the Indian towns and their views of the world. These communities lose in an inexorable way their features of identity, they are in a gradual process of decay cultural, they have to confront permanently cultural processes dominant and global. The proposal question to the photographic creation and social intervention in the belief that the images facilitate connections between symbolic objects and people. In this context the photographs as artistic items are excellent because their capacity to symbolize their elements of identity and at the same time, to generate symbolic process to help for knitting bonds with cultural heritages and for building new stories telling that mound the identities and create hard weavings in the community. Arts form that look at the daily life, photography help to the people to review and to recognize cultural forms, artistic forms, generate by their community and at the same time, it is generating new visual worlds, looks and contexts, objects and expressions, views of the world inbuilt in invisible worlds, intangible realities and new looks that to take up again global and local elements. We understand that since the area of Artistic Education we can work the art of hundreds of cultures and at any moment of the history, an aspect that permits us to sensitize all students towards the comprehension of the different demonstrations that acquires a same cultural aspect, the art, as a universal phenomenon. We have centred the main objective of our investigation on the exploration of the roads and the possibilities that artistic education offers us (cultural, class, disability, age, race, sex, etc.) in relation to diversity. We started from the perception that, in the scope of the artistic education and culture in general, a tendency exists that describes the artistic facts and the aesthetic practices from unique and universally valid categories. These often cause the omission of some specific values and mainly the lack of recognition of other interesting artistic proposals (artistic offices, children art, popular art, craftsmanship, etc). We have looked for ways that lead us to assume a contemporary vision of the artistic fact and an including conception of art (functional design, clothing, decoration, arts, popular art, art of the women, net art, gastronomy, etc.).We understand education as the place from where to advance towards another form to watch and to understand the world. A vision that, from the art, facilitates elements for the social encounter and relations, where the own difference and "the critical" conservation of the own cultural identities are celebrated from the conviction of the true cultural enrichment. These considerations and the absence of a previous theoretical frame that allowed us to analyze, develop and evaluate the multicultural perspective in the artistic education, were the cause and the conjuncture to direct this work towards what we could call "culturally competent artistic educator" (Andrus, 2001). In that perspective of competence is where we have located our work, as well as in the necessities of formation of our teachers, with the conviction that any improvement in the educative stage where these act, will result in all the educative process.

- Abstract
The Spanish team of the Human Proteome Project (SpHPP) marked the annotation of Chr16 and data analysis as one of its priorities. Precise annotation of Chromosome 16 proteins according to C-HPP criteria is presented. Moreover, Human Body Map 2.0 RNA-Seq and Encyclopedia of DNA Elements (ENCODE) data sets were used to obtain further information relative to cell/tissue specific chromosome 16 coding gene expression patterns and to infer the presence of missing proteins. Twenty-four shotgun 2D-LC-MS/MS and gel/LC-MS/MS MIAPE compliant experiments, representing 41% coverage of chromosome 16 proteins, were performed. Furthermore, mapping of large-scale multicenter mass spectrometry data sets from CCD18, MCF7, Jurkat, and Ramos cell lines into RNA-Seq data allowed further insights relative to correlation of chromosome 16 transcripts and proteins. Detection and quantification of chromosome 16 proteins in biological matrices by SRM procedures are also primary goals of the SpHPP. Two strategies were undertaken: one focused on known proteins, taking advantage of MS data already available, and the second, aimed at the detection of the missing proteins, is based on the expression of recombinant proteins to gather MS information and optimize SRM methods that will be used in real biological samples. SRM methods for 49 known proteins and for recombinant forms of 24 missing proteins are reported in this study., Unión Europea. - Abstract
The following paper shows the development of an educational experience based on participatory learning, understanding relational processes in a artistic scene. Using the methodology applied in the artistic work Sonesnat, we propose a creative workshop that encourages a trialogue: the artwork as a process, the collective experience as an engine to produce meanings, and the shared authorship through immaterial products., En este trabajo mostramos el desarrollo de una experiencia educativa basada en el aprendizaje participativo y en la compresión de los procesos relacionales en el ámbito artístico.
