21. Neutron diffraction and ab initio studies on the fully compensated ferrimagnetic characteristics of Mn2V1-xCoxGa Heusler alloys

Abstract

Neutron diffraction and ab initio studies were carried out on Mn2V1-xCoxGa (x=0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1) Heusler alloys which exhibits high TC fully compensated ferrimagnetic characteristic for x=0.5. A combined analysis of neutron diffraction and ab initio calculations revealed the crystal structure and magnetic configuration which could not be determined from the X-ray diffraction and magnetic measurements. As reported earlier, Rietveld refinement of neutron diffraction data confirmed L21 structure for Mn2VGa and Xa structure for Mn2CoGa. The alloys with x=0.25 and 0.5 possess L21 structure with Mn(C)-Co disorder. As the Co concentration reaches 0.75, a structural transition has been observed from disordered L21 to disordered Xa. Detailed ab initio studies also confirmed this structural transition. The reason for the magnetic moment compensation in Mn2(V1-xCox)Ga was identified to be different from that of the earlier reported fully compensated ferrimagnet (MnCo)VGa. With the help of neutron diffraction and ab initio studies, it is identified that the disordered L21 structure with antiparallel coupling between the ferromagnetically aligned magnetic moments of (Mn(A)-Mn(C)) and (V-Co) atom pairs enables the compensation in Mn2V1-xCoxGa.

Abstract

The services of internet place a key role in the daily life by enabling the in sequence from anywhere. To provide somewhere to stay the communication and management in applications the web services has stimulated to multitier design. In this multitier the web servers contain front end logic and data with database servers. In this paper, we present binary protector intrusion detection systems which designs the network behavior of user sessions across both the front-end web server and the back-end database. By examining both web and subsequent database requests, we are able to rummage out attacks that independent IDS would not be able to distinguish.

Abstract

This paper proposes a Barnacles mating optimizer‐based multi‐resolution proportional‐integral derivative (MRPID) controller for precise speed control of the hybrid stepper motor (HSM). The proposed approach is a barnacle mating optimizer (BMO) control scheme. The main objective of this approach is to use the MRPID controller to improve speed control in particular and uncertain conditions. The BMO is utilized to create the proposed MRPID controller. The proposed converter has a low switching voltage and uses a low input current. The proposed converter supplies a large amount of power to the voltage source inverter (VSI), which converts DC to AC and then supplies it to the HSM. The HSM can be utilized in various settings, including robots and factory applications. Then, the performance of the proposed system has been evaluated in the MATLAB platform and compared with various existing systems. The existing adaptive neuro‐fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) and the moth flame optimization algorithm (MFO) methods are used to validate the efficiency of the proposed controller. The proposed system rise time is 0.0007, the settling time is 0.1, the recovery time is 0.221, the AMU is 1.205, the IAE is 0.1034, and the SSE is 0.234. Here, mentioning the theory to increase the quality benefits in all corners of power utilization. By summing potential elements such as Unified power Quality conditioner, fuel cell to suppress the problems at the consumer points. UPQC is capable to supporting dynamic conditions at combined common connection in the system. To achieve the consumer expectations in our country, Power Quality is a big subject as there are frequent power variations, outages and frequency. Hence, it is required to take crucial steps in the direction of the growth. This hybridization of different elements gives the research in the angle of improving several issues, for unbalanced distribution system. This paper comes up with a configuration of UPQC that incorporates DC –to-DC converter along with the fuel - cell at the DC-link side, the whole setup run under MATLAB environment.
