A study to explain the efficacy of ezetimibe, which reduces LDL cholesterol on the progression of atherosclerosis, is conducted. Results indicate that a combination of simvastatin and ezetimibe does not show any significant changes in hypercholesterolemia but simvastatin alone did work better.
