The results of studying the defectiveness of spruce forests in the northern taiga zone of the Arkhangelsk Region are presented. Defectiveness has a significant impact on the sanitary condition, marketability and sustainability of forest plantations. The study has been conducted from 2020 to 2023 using materials obtained from sample plots laid in mature spruce plantations, modal in terms of basic taxation parameters. Before starting the field work, the cartographic databases have been studied. The sample size has been determined by the variability of the taxational diameter of the main species and the experiment accuracy. In each test area, all trees have been enumerated by species, diameter at a height of 1.3 m and by condition categories. For each tree, the presence of defects affecting marketability and fruit bodies of wood-destroying fungi has been noted. To determine the age of the trees in the sample plot, core samples have been taken from the root collar. To study the patterns of the defectiveness spread and obtain mass material, statistical survey sites have been laid on fresh cuttings. When rot has been detected on the stump, the diameter of the rot has been measured and its type and stage have been determined. The age of the trees has been determined by the annual rings on the stumps. In the presence of rot, age has been determined by correlation with the diameter of the stump. The trees have then been grouped by their respective age classes. In the course of the research, defectiveness indicators have been studied and analyzed in various forest growth conditions. It has been revealed that with an increase in the age class, the occurrence of all defects increases. The most obvious dependence has been recorded for rots. The amount of rots varies from 5.1 to 29.0 %, depending on the type of forest growth conditions. The proportion of rots decreases with the deterioration of forest conditions. The most common wood-destroying fungus is the root sponge (Heterobasidion annosum (Fr.) Bref.). There is an increase in the incidence of wood-destroying fungi in trees with increasing diameter. The average stage of butt rot has been 2.8. The study of the defectiveness will improve the accuracy of assessing the resource potential of coniferous plantations in the Arkhangelsk Region.

Objective. The purpose of the research is to develop and implement a Telegram bot for effective task management using the functionality of the Telegram API. Method. The study is based on database design techniques. Result.The paper describes the process of developing and optimizing a Telegram bot for effective task management. As part of the research, an application was developed, implemented in Python using the Telegram API and using the PostgreSQL DBMS to store data as part of the workflow. The system is designed to optimize the workflow, manage tasks in the system and delegate them to users. A database has been designed, where the structure and relationships between data are defined, ensuring efficient storage and access to information, taking into account the needs of the application. Conclusion.The phased implementation of functionality, from task management, user notification systems, to data processing and analysis, allows us to obtain a fully functional system with a wide range of capabilities. To clarify the functions and capabilities of the bot, a demonstration of the application was carried out, reflecting the functionality of the system.

Aim. To present data from the AURA Registry (real-world data registry on AlbUminuRia detection rate among patients with previously undiAgnosed chronic kidney disease). It is important to perform population studies both to study the occurrence of markers (albuminuria (AU), decreased glomerular filtration rate (GFR)) and the prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD), which will provide information on the actual detection rate of CKD and the related markers in territories included in the registry of research centers.Material and methods. The article presents the first data from the AURA registry. Recruitment was carried out from March 6, 2023 to January 23, 2024. Thirty-four research centers in various federal districts of the Russian Federation and 104 doctors took part in the recruitment. We included 4580 subjects over the age of 40 years who had no previously established diagnosis of CKD and did not have type 1 or type 2 diabetes. During recruitment, the researchers were guided by the AURA study protocol (Version 1.7/12-26-2022).Results. AU more than 20 mg/g was detected in 64,9% of cases. At the same time, AU is more common at GFR values that may correspond to stage 3A of CKD. The rarer occurrence of AU in those examined with GFR >60 ml/min/1,73 m2 may be explained by less severe renal damage at this CKD stage. The incidence of AU was significantly higher in men, older people, smokers, people with metabolic syndrome, hypertension (HTN), prediabetes and overweight. The occurrence of AU also increased as HTN grade increased. AU detection rate was associated with hypertriglyceridemia, a high blood level of C-reactive protein, which is an integrative marker of inflammation that negatively affects cardiovascular risk.Conclusion. The presented first data from the AURA registry demonstrated the high AU prevalence in people over 40 years of age. A high incidence of AU was typical for patients with HTN, coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, heart failure, and prediabetes. An association has been demonstrated between the high incidence of AU and male sex, age, overweight, hyperuricemia, dyslipidemia, and a number of other cardiovascular risk factors.

Aim. To investigate the prevalence and characteristics of polyvascular disease in the Eurasian region's population with one or more previously established locations of atherosclerotic arterial damage, and to evaluate the diagnostic importance of the ankle-brachial index (ABI) as a marker for polyvascular disease (PVD).Material and methods. A total of 1837 patients were included in the main branch of the KAMMA registry (patients with PVD), among which 91,6% had coronary artery disease (CAD) (n=1683). For further analysis, the group of patients with CAD was combined with 1222 patients included in the second branch of the registry — KAMMA-cardio, forming a patient population (n=2905), in which all patients had verified CAD. The mean age of patients was 66,0 [59,0; 72,0] years, with 60,3% being male. Peripheral arteries was assessed using ultrasound examination.Results. PVD was present in 95,6% of patients with coronary atherosclerosis: dual-region involvement was observed in 51,3% of patients, three-region involvement in 37,1%, four-region involvement in 3,4%, and five-region involvement in 2,0%. Stenoses of the common carotid artery were observed in 71% of patients, internal carotid artery — in 68%, lower limb artery — in 52%, and renal and mesenteric artery — in 8,3%. There were following diagnostic effectiveness of the ABI for detecting patients with lower limb artery stenosis was: sensitivity — 58,0%, specificity — 83,6%. The quality of antithrombotic and lipid-lowering therapy was insufficient.Conclusion. In the overwhelming majority (95,6%) of patients with CAD in the KAMMA registry, PVD was revealed, with nearly half of the patients having involvement in three or more arterial zones. In the patient population with CAD, there should be an active effort to identify patients with PVD, using at least the ABI determination and active modern antithrombotic and lipid-lowering therapy according to current clinical guidelines.

Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs) exhibit a typical Lambertian emission, raising the need for secondary optics to tailor their emission depending on specific applications. Here, we introduce plasmonic metasurfaces to InGaN green emitting quantum wells for LEDs to control their far-field emission directionality and enhance the collection efficiency. The proposed mechanism is based on surface lattice resonances (SLRs) and relies on the near-field coupling between the InGaN multiple quantum wells (MQWs) and periodic arrays of aluminum (Al) nanodisks. Fourier microscopy measurements reveal that the angular photoluminescence emission pattern depends on the lattice constant of the metasurfaces. We demonstrate that integrating Al metasurfaces in LED wafers can enhance the collected outcoupled light intensity by a factor of 5 compared to the same sample without metasurfaces. We have also performed numerical calculations of the far-field emission based on the reciprocity principle and obtained a very good agreement with the experimental data. The proposed approach controls the emission directionality without the need for secondary optics and it does not require post-etching of the GaN, which makes it a potential candidate to control and enhance the generated light from micro-LEDs.

Our empirical tests generally support the hypothesis that up to certain values of the average per capita income its growth tends to lead to increased risks of sociopolitical destabilization, and only in the upper range of this indicator its growth tends to be associated with the decrease of sociopolitical destabilization risks. However, our analysis has shown that for various indices of sociopolitical destabilization this curvilinear relationship can be quite different in some important details. On the other hand, we detect the presence of a very important exception. We show that the relationship between per capita GDP and the intensity of coups and coup attempts is not curvilinear; in this case we are rather dealing with a pronounced negative correlation; a particularly strong negative correlation is observed between this index and the logarithm of GDP per capita. We demonstrate that this fact makes the abovementioned bell-shaped relationship with respect to the integral index of sociopolitical destabilization considerably less distinct and makes a very significant contribution to the formation of its asymmetry (when the negative correlation between per capita GDP and sociopolitical destabilization among the richer countries looks much stronger than the positive correlation among poorer countries). However, our analysis shows that for all the other indices of sociopolitical destabilization we do witness the bell-shaped relationship. On the other hand, for example, in relation to such indices, as political strikes, riots and anti-government demonstrations we deal with such an asymmetry that is directly opposite to that mentioned above - with such an asymmetry, when a positive correlation between GDP and instability for poorer countries is much stronger than the negative correlation for richer countries.

Optical metasurfaces are regular quasi-planar nanopatterns that can apply diverse spatial and spectral transformations to light waves. However, metasurfaces are no longer adjustable after fabrication, and a critical challenge is to realise a technique of tuning their optical properties that is both fast and efficient. We experimentally realise an ultrafast tunable metasurface consisting of subwavelength gallium arsenide nanoparticles supporting Mie-type resonances in the near infrared. Using transient reflectance spectroscopy, we demonstrate a picosecond-scale absolute reflectance modulation of up to 0.35 at the magnetic dipole resonance of the metasurfaces and a spectral shift of the resonance by 30 nm, both achieved at unprecedentedly low pump fluences of less than 400 μJ cm-2. Low light extraction efficiency (LEE) is the greatest limiting factor for the brightness of reduced-size light-emitting diodes (LEDs) as it limits their emission intensity. In addition, LEDs have a Lambertian emission, which requires secondary optics to control the emission directionality. Plasmonic metasurfaces can introduce a way of manipulating the generated light from LEDs to enhance their LEE and steer the emitted light by reshaping the far-field emission. Here, we fabricate resonant plasmonic metasurfaces on top of a typical blue emitting wafer consisting of InGaN/gallium nitride quantum wells developed for commercial LED devices. The metasurface is separated from the InGaN quantum wells by p-GaN and indium-tin-oxide (ITO) layers with a cumulative thickness of 110 nm. Since this distance value is close to the emission wavelength in the corresponding medium, enhanced near-fields of localized plasmonic resonances do not reach the active region. Despite this, we observe a strong influence of the metasurfaces on the far-field photoluminescence emission from the quantum wells as demonstrated by Fourier imaging. Power-dependent excitation measurements of the samples allow us to retrieve the pump and light collection enhancement factors provided by the plasmonic metasurfaces. We demonstrate that the plasmonic metasurfaces can provide a pump enhancement factor of up to 4.1 and a collection enhancement factor of up to 3.2. We have also performed simulations based on the reciprocity principle and achieved a good qualitative agreement with the experimental results.

Photonic metasurfaces, that is, two-dimensional arrangements of designed plasmonic or dielectric resonant scatterers, have been established as a successful concept for controlling light fields at the nanoscale. While the majority of research so far has concentrated on passive metasurfaces, the direct integration of nanoscale emitters into the metasurface architecture offers unique opportunities ranging from fundamental investigations of complex light-matter interactions to the creation of flat sources of tailored light fields. While the integration of emitters in metasurfaces as well as many fundamental effects occurring in such structures were initially studied in the realm of nanoplasmonics, the field has recently gained significant momentum following the development of Mie-resonant dielectric metasurfaces. Because of their low absorption losses, additional possibilities for emitter integration, and compatibility with semiconductor-based light-emitting devices, all-dielectric systems are promising for highly efficient metasurface light sources. Furthermore, a flurry of new emission phenomena are expected based on their multipolar resonant response. This review reports on the state of the art of light-emitting metasurfaces, covering both plasmonic and all-dielectric systems.

Quantitative cross-national tests using negative binomial regression confrmthe existence of a curvilinear relationship between the amount of people receiving an education and the level of terrorist activity in certain countries. In countries with the lowest level of educational modernization, the growth of education is accompanied by a signifcant trend towards an increase in the intensity of terrorist activities, and this trend turns out to be signifcant after being controlled for economic development level, type of political regime, unemployment, economic inequality and urbanization. At the same time, a pronounced extreme has been detected given a relatively low but not completely absent quantitative development level of national education systems (corresponding to 3–6 years of schooling on average). In more socio-economically developed countries, a further increase in the years people on average spend receiving education is accompanied by a signifcant trend towards a decrease in the level of terrorist activity. This trend alsoturns out to be signifcant when controlling for economic development level, type of political regime, unemployment, economic inequality and urbanization. The sharpest decline corresponds to the range of 7–8 years spent on average receiving education. On the one hand, the conducted quantitative analysis allows us to make an optimistic conclusion, in that a further increase in the years people on average spend receiving education – together with further economic development of the middle and high income countries – can indeed become one of the factors which will lead to a decrease in the level of terrorist activity in these countries. The analysis also shows that, for further reduction of the level of terrorist activity (in addition to the growth of the level of education), a decrease in the level of unemployment, economic inequality, the spread of consolidated democratic political regimes and the reduction of the amount of factional conflict partial democracies can also play a signifcant role. At the same time, the growth of economic inequality and the level of unemployment, the rejection of change in the world by traditionalist members of the population – all of this may become the cause foran increase in the level of terrorist violence in frst world countries.

Strong magnetic dipole emission is offered by rare earth ions such as trivalent lanthanides, due to selection rule forbidden electric dipole (ED) transitions. This stimulates the study of optical nanostructures, which efficiently tailor magnetic dipole emission. High refractive index all dielectric nanostructures are promising candidates in this regard due to their strong magnetic response and negligible absorption loss in the visible spectral range. Here, we design and experimentally realize a broken-symmetry titanium dioxide (TiO2) metasurface supporting an out-of-plane magnetic dipole (MD) resonance at 590 nm wavelength, corresponding to the MD transition of trivalent Europium ions (Eu3+). A strong photoluminescence (PL) enhancement of the MD transition up to a factor of 15.5 is observed.

We explore countries’ heterogeneity over ethnic diversity on the example of Sri-Lanka, PRC, and USA. The ethnic diversity is estimated with entropy-like indices, the Gini-Simpson index, and a fragmentation index M that is based on the share of the dominating ethnos. We posit that ethnic diversity of regions is related to their geographical locations. We claim that ordering of regions with respect to their ethnic diversity is not sensitive to the choice of specific measure of diversity. Heterogeneity of countries is described with empirical cumulative distribution function of regions. Choosing index M as a measure of diversity, we exhibit that the corresponding cumulative distribution function is close to linear in Sri-Lanka and USA, unlike in PRC where the level of ethnic diversity is low and single ethnos dominates in the third of all regions. We introduce a probabilistic model in order to explain empirical findings. The model is based on the assumption that individuals prefer to live with people of their own ethnos. The model distribution of regions matches the distribution computed with real data

The article substantiates the strategy of innovative development of animal husbandry in the Bryansk region. The main indicators of animal husbandry development are studied. The dynamics of the population of animals, poultry, rabbits and bee colonies is analyzed. The structure and dynamics of livestock products manufacturing, including the production of cattle and poultry in carcass weight, milk, eggs and honey, are calculated. The productivity of animals is estimated, including the average daily weight gain of cattle and pigs, the average annual milk yield per cow, and the average annual egg production of laying hens. The best practices of animal husbandry effective development on an innovative basis are considered. Major investment projects implemented in the livestock industry are considered. The scenario forecast of production of the most important types of animal products (milk and meat of cattle and poultry) is presented. The directions of the strategic development of the industry are justified.

The deposition of aerosols from process gas streams are the basis of many technologies in the chemical, petrochemical, coke, oil, gas, food etc. Industrial gases, containing aerosols of different nature of origin polydisperse solid particles (dust, smoke) or liquid particles (fog), must be cleaned. The idea of the author is to develop a mathematical model of the process of trapping waste gases, fogs in intensive nozzles with a developed surface of contact of phases. The vortex flow of the gas-liquid flow and its pulsating nature of the movement contribute to the intensification of the crushing process and coagulation of the drop gas-liquid flow in the layer of a regular moving nozzle. Methods of mathematical modeling of the process of movement of a polydisperse aerosol in a turbulent gas-liquid flow have been used. It was determined that condensation of steam in the cell occurs on the surface of the nozzle and also the formation of new germs of aerosol particles. The size distribution of aerosol particles is due to centrifugal forces. In this case, large particles are removed from the vortex region into a continuous flow, while small particles rotate in a vortex. Coagulation equation describing the change in the particle size distribution function with time, undergoing condensation and coagulation growth. The obtained results of differential and integral-differential equations can be used to describe the formation process and aerosols. Environmental and economic efficiency, as well as the optimal choice of environmental and auxiliary equipment took into account.

This paper describes the SNP-MED modular computer-based information system for estimation of the influence of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) on the function of genes associated with the risk of socially significant diseases. The system includes software components Genomics, Proteomics, Gene networks and the Information resource database (BDIR).

Motor transport and road maintenance are the determining factors of environmental pollution in the roadside zone. The main acceptor of pollution in this case is the soil. In connection with the complexity of the application of instrumental control methods, it is perspective to carry out the monitoring of roadside territories on the basis of mathematical modeling. The objective of the study is to develop a model of vehicle emissions impact on roadside soils with washout from the road bed. As a physical model we will consider roadside underlying surface covered with a layer of raindrops. According to the physical model, pollutants are absorbed by rain drops when falling on the underlying surface. Movement of pollutants down the whole depth of soil profile is carried out under the action of filtering the contaminated liquid in the granular material of soil. Analytical dependencies have been obtained allowing to predict the roadside ecosystem pollution from exhaust emissions. Soil contamination with liquid effluents resulting from the dissolution of sulfur dioxide in atmospheric precipitation has been calculated.

The paper is devoted to features of relationship between the Kemerovo eparchy and the state and local authorities of the Kemerovo region during the Post-Soviet period. The cooperation of the church and civil authorities during the specified period is proved to have been mutually advantageous. The full support of the Eparchy by the Kuzbass authorities is proved to have been one of the main conditions of its development, defining its specifics.

Religious policy and state policy of the Soviet State in the1980s are analysed in the article as well as the changes concerning the Russian Orthodox Church before and during the thousandth anniversary of Epiphany of Russia. The ar ticle addresses the State–Church relations in Novosibirsk and Barnaul eparchy and Kemerovo church formation which made preconditions for the formation of Kemerovo eparchy in 1993.
