In this paper, approximate optimality conditions and sensitivity analysis in nearly convex optimization are discussed. More precisely, as in the spirit of convex analysis, we introduce the concept of $\varepsilon$-subdifferential for nearly convex functions. Then, we examine some significant properties and rules for the $\varepsilon$-subdifferential. We develop sufficient conditions for the existence of the weak sharp minima at infinity property for nonsmooth optimization problems via asymptotic cones and generalized asymptotic functions. Next, we show that these conditions are also useful for studying the solution stability of nonconvex optimization problems under linear perturbations. This paper deals with Pareto solutions of a nonsmooth fractional interval-valued multiobjective optimization. We first introduce four types of Pareto solutions of the considered problem by considering the lower-upper interval order relation and then apply some advanced tools of variational analysis and generalized differentiation to establish necessary optimality conditions for these solutions. Sufficient conditions for Pareto solutions of such a problem are also provided by means of introducing the concepts of (strictly) generalized convex functions defined in terms of the limiting/Mordukhovich subdifferential of locally Lipschitzian functions. This paper deals with approximate solutions of a nonsmooth semi-infinite programming with multiple interval-valued objective functions. We first introduce four types of approximate quasi Pareto solutions of the considered problem by considering the lower-upper interval order relation and then apply some advanced tools of variational analysis and generalized differentiation to establish necessary optimality conditions for these approximate solutions. Sufficient conditions for approximate quasi Pareto solutions of such a problem are also provided by means of introducing the concepts of approximate (strictly) pseudo-quasi generalized convex functions defined in terms of the limiting subdifferential of locally Lipschitz functions. Finally, a Mond--Weir type dual model in approximate form is formulated, and weak, strong and converse-like duality relations are proposed.

This paper deals with approximate solutions of an optimization problem with interval-valued objective function. Four types of approximate solution concepts of the problem are proposed by considering the partial ordering $LU$ on the set of all closed and bounded intervals. In this paper, we introduce a kind of approximate Karush--Kuhn--Tucker condition (AKKT) for a smooth cone-constrained vector optimization problem. We show that, without any constraint qualification, the AKKT condition is a necessary for a local weak efficient solution of the considered problem. For convex problems, we prove that the AKKT condition is a necessary and sufficient optimality condition for a global weak efficient solution. In this paper, we present some new necessary and sufficient optimality conditions in terms of the Clarke subdifferentials for approximate Pareto solutions of a nonsmooth vector optimization problem which has an infinite number of constraints. In this paper, we present some second-order sufficient conditions in terms of the Demyanov-Pevnyi's second-order directional derivatives for efficiency of $C^1$ vector optimization problems with constraints. Our results improve and generalize conditions obtained by various authors in recent papers.

The paper is devoted to the existence of global optimal solutions for a general class of nonsmooth problems of constrained vector optimization without boundedness assumptions on constraint sets. The main attention is paid to the two major notions of optimality in vector problems: Pareto efficiency and proper efficiency in the sense of Geoffrion. Employing adequate tools of variational analysis and generalized differentiation, we first establish relationships between the notions of properness, $M$-tameness, and the Palais--Smale conditions formulated for the restriction of the vector cost mapping on the constraint set. These results are instrumental to derive verifiable necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of Pareto efficient solutions in vector optimization. Furthermore, the developed approach allows us to obtain new sufficient conditions for the existence of Geoffrion-properly efficient solutions to such constrained vector problems., Comment: 20 pages

In this paper, we study second-order necessary and sufficient optimality conditions of Karush--Kuhn--Tucker-type for locally optimal solutions in the sense of Pareto to a class of multi-objective optimal control problems with mixed pointwise constraint. To deal with the problems, we first derive second-order optimality conditions for abstract multi-objective optimal control problems which satisfy the Robinson constraint qualification. In the recent paper of Giorgi, Jim\'enez and Novo (J Optim Theory Appl 171:70--89, 2016), the authors introduced the so-called approximate Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (AKKT) condition for smooth multiobjective optimization problems and obtained some AKKT-type necessary optimality conditions and sufficient optimality conditions for weak efficient solutions of such a problem. In this note, we extend these optimality conditions to locally Lipschitz multiobjective optimization problems using Mordukhovich subdifferentials. In the present paper, we are concerned with a class of constrained vector optimization problems, where the objective functions and active constraint functions are locally Lipschitz at the referee point. Some second-order constraint qualifications of Zangwill type, Abadie type and Mangasarian~--~Fromovitz type as well as a regularity condition of Abadie type are proposed in a nonsmooth setting. The connections between these proposed conditions are established. They are applied to develop second-order Karush--Kuhn--Tucker necessary optimality conditions for local (weak, Geoffrion properly) efficient solutions to the considered problem. We are interested in the existence of Pareto solutions to the vector optimization problem $$\text{Min}_{\,\mathbb{R}^m_+} \{f(x) \,|\, x\in \mathbb{R}^n\},$$ where $f\colon\mathbb{R}^n\to \mathbb{R}^m$ is a polynomial map. By using the {\em tangency variety} of $f$ we first construct a semi-algebraic set of dimension at most $m - 1$ containing the set of Pareto values of the problem. Then we establish connections between the Palais--Smale conditions, $M$-tameness, and properness for the map $f$. Based on these results, we provide some sufficient conditions for the existence of Pareto solutions of the problem.
