In flowering plants, pollinators contribute to gene flow while they also respond to variation in plant traits together determined by genetic, epigenetic and environmental sources of variation. Consequently, a correlation between abundance and diversity of pollinators and the genetic and epigenetic characteristics of plant populations such as diversity or distinctiveness is expected. However, no study has explored these long‐term dimensions of plant–pollinator interactions. Mediterranean narrow endemics often exhibit unexpectedly high levels of population genetic and epigenetic diversity. We hypothesize that pollinators may contribute to explain this pattern. Specifically, given the higher sensitivity of small, isolated population to gene flow, we expect a stronger association of pollinators with population genetic and epigenetic variability in narrow endemics than in widely distributed congeners. We studied five pairs of congeneric plant species, consisting of one narrow endemic with a restricted distribution and one widespread congener, found in the Sierra de Cazorla mountains (SE Spain). We characterized the pollinators in up to three populations per species to estimate their diversity and visitation rates. Additionally, we calculated the genetic and epigenetic diversity and distinctiveness of each population using AFLP markers and methylation‐sensitive AFLP markers (MSAP), respectively. We assessed the relationship between pollinator diversity and visitation rates. The diversity of pollinators did not vary according to the plant´s distribution range, but visitation rate was higher in widespread species. As predicted, only narrow endemics showed a significant association between pollinators and their population genetic and epigenetic characteristics. Specifically, higher pollinator diversity and visitation rates entailed higher population genetic diversity and lower epigenetic distinctiveness. This work shows the importance of investigating the relationship between pollinator diversity and population genetics and epigenetics to better understand the evolution of plant rarity. - Abstract
Changes in epigenetic states can allow individuals to cope with environmental changes. If such changes are heritable, this may lead to epigenetic adaptation. Thus, it is likely that in sessile organisms such as plants, part of the spatial epigenetic variation found across individuals will reflect the environmental heterogeneity within populations. The departure of the spatial epigenetic structure from the baseline genetic variation can help in understanding the value of epigenetic regulation in species with different breadth of optimal environmental requirements. Here we hypothesize that in plants with narrow environmental requirements epigenetic variability should be less structured in space given the lower variability in suitable environmental conditions. We performed a multispecies study that considered seven pairs of congeneric plant species, each encompassing a narrow endemic with habitat specialization and a widespread species. In three populations per species we used AFLP and methylation-sensitive AFLP markers to characterise the spatial genetic and epigenetic structures. Narrow endemics showed a significantly lower epigenetic than genetic differentiation between populations. Within populations, epigenetic variation was less spatially structured than genetic variation, mainly in narrow endemics. In these species, structural equation models revealed that such pattern was associated to a lack of correlation between epigenetic and genetic information. Altogether, these results show a greater decoupling of the spatial epigenetic variation from the baseline spatial genetic pattern in endemic species. These findings highlight the value of studying genetic and epigenetic spatial variation to better understand habitat specialisation in plants.

- Abstract
Coffee, a widely consumed important agricultural product, is mainly produced from two species, Coffea arabica (Arabica coffee) and C. canephora (Robusta coffee). Timor Hybrid (HDT) is a population resulting from a natural cross between C. arabica and C. canephora. HDT derivatives have a high spectrum of resistance to different races of Hemileia vastatrix (Hv), the causal agent of coffee leaf rust. A RNAseq database, obtained from HDT832/2 leaves inoculated with Hv (Host Resistance) and Uromyces vignae (Uv, Nonhost Resistance), showed the presence of genes implicated in the hypersensitive response and salicylic acid pathway. Hypersensitive Induced Reaction (HIR) gene family, Enhanced Disease Susceptibility1 gene (EDS1), and Phytoalexin Deficient 4 (PAD4) gene are involved in host and nonhost resistance. Relative expression calculated by RT-qPCR was used to confirm and expand the transcriptome analysis. HDTHIR4, HDTEDS1, and HDTPAD4 showed the highest upregulation in response to Hv and Uv inoculation, confirming a similar trend in host and nonhost resistance in HDT. HIR and EDS1/PAD4 gene families were characterized for the first time in the three available Coffea genomes. HIR genes were quite conserved between Coffea species. Surprisingly, EDS1 and PAD4 genes revealed major differences in gene structure. The PAD4 predicted protein from C. arabica does not include both conserved domains of the EDS1/PAD4 family, and the EDS1 putative protein from C. canephora includes a formin domain unusual in the same protein family. The variability shown by EDS1/PAD4 gene family may impact the disease resistance response of Coffea species, which can be surveyed for the gene sequences that will produce a more resistant phenotype.

To explore the connection between chloroplast and coffee resistance factors, designated as S
H 1 to SH 9, whole genomic DNA of 42 coffee genotypes was sequenced, and entire chloroplast genomes were de novo assembled. The chloroplast phylogenetic haplotype network clustered individuals per species instead of SH factors. However, for the first time, it allowed the molecular validation of Coffea arabica as the maternal parent of the spontaneous hybrid "Híbrido de Timor". Individual reads were also aligned on the C. arabica reference genome to relate SH factors with chloroplast metabolism, and an in-silico analysis of selected nuclear-encoded chloroplast proteins (132 proteins) was performed. The nuclear-encoded thioredoxin-like membrane protein HCF164 enabled the discrimination of individuals with and without the SH 9 factor, due to specific DNA variants linked to chromosome 7c (from C. canephora-derived sub-genome). The absence of both the thioredoxin domain and redox-active disulphide center in the HCF164 protein, observed in SH 9 individuals, raises the possibility of potential implications on redox regulation. For the first time, the identification of specific DNA variants of chloroplast proteins allows discriminating individuals according to the SH profile. This study introduces an unexplored strategy for identifying protein/genes associated with SH factors and candidate targets of H. vastatrix effectors, thereby creating new perspectives for coffee breeding programs.

- Abstract
Web platforms are gaining relevance in eHealth, where they ease the interaction between patients and clinician. However, some clinical fields, such as the cardiovascular one, still need more effort because cardiovascular diseases are the principal cause of death and medical resources expenditure worldwide. The lack of daily control is the main reason hypertension is a current health problem, and medical web services could improve this situation. To face this challenge, this work proposes a novel intelligent web-based ecosystem, called SENIOR, capable of predicting adverse blood pressure events. The innovation of the SENIOR ecosystem relies on a wearable device measuring patient’s biomarkers such as blood pressure, a mobile application acquiring patient’s information, and a web platform consulting environmental services, processing data, and predicting blood pressure. The second contribution of this work is to consider novel environmental features based on the users’ location, such as climate and pollution data, to increase the knowledge about known variables affecting hypertension. Finally, our last contribution is a proof of concept with several machine learning algorithms predicting blood pressure values both in real-time and future temporal windows within one day has demonstrated the suitability of SENIOR.

A més a més de tota la documentació gràfica necessària per resoldre l’estructura del pavelló poliesportiu., In this work we see how to design, calculate and make the structure project, based on the basic project of a sports pavilion located in Santa Perpètua de la Mogoda. For the design of the structure we are based on the basic project and in a way that meets the requirements established in the CTE STRUCTURAL SECURITY. We can say that the design of the structure is based on two volumes. The main volume consists of a series of trusses and two porticos at the ends, which support the light roof of the sports pavilion. While in the second volume we find the ground floor, first floor, two floors and the attic. The calculation process is performed by sizing with the CYPECAD and CYPE 3D program, spatial calculation of three-dimensional structures of the 2017VERSION. - Abstract

- Abstract
The pollination effectiveness of a flower visitor has traditionally been measured as the product of a quantity component that depends on the frequency of interaction and a quality component that measures the per-visit effects on plant reproduction. We propose that this could be complemented with a genetic component informing about each pollinator's contribution to the genetic diversity and composition of the plant progeny. We measured the quantity and quality components of effectiveness of most pollinator functional groups of the generalist herb Erysimum mediohispanicum. We used 10 microsatellite markers to calculate the genetic component as the diversity of sires among siblings and included it into the calculation of the pollination effectiveness. Functional groups varied in the quantity and quality components, which were shown to be decoupled. Functional groups also differed in the genetic component. This component changed the estimates of pollination effectiveness, increasing the differences between some functional groups and modifying the pollination effectiveness landscape. We demonstrate that including the genetic component in the calculation of the pollination effectiveness may allow a more complete quantification of the contribution of each pollinator to the reproductive success of a plant, providing information on its mating patterns and long-term fitness.

In recent years, the tourism industry has diversified and evolved a considerable way in order to meet the expectations of an increasingly demanding and specialized tourist. So is currently in the segment of cultural tourism (TC), in Peru we find the archaeological tourism (TA), which represents 54% share of the tourist flow (PromPeru, 2015). We must emphasize that although Peru has an enormous wealth and diverse in terms of archaeological resources, only the Cusco region has attracted the most attention, thanks to its main attraction, the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Such tourist resort enjoys great publicity and promotion provided by the Peruvian State, which constitutes an advantage which is not available other tourist attractions of the country. One of these tourism resources with great potential not yet received the same level of promotion, is the case of the "Nasca Lines", located in the department of Ica, province of Nasca, destination where this research will focus. According to Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) (2015) it achieved this resource position itself as an alternative destination in Peru TA short term. However, this positioning still not being adequately developed, ie, does not meet the components that the current tourist waiting on your visit as: mixture of archeology, adventure and ecology, interaction of tourists and a unique experience (PromPeru, 2015), adding to this the absence of state policies that contribute to this positioning and conservation as a tourist destination. Therefore, it has prepared this Strategic Marketing plan, which has the following objectives: In the long run, position the Nasca route as one of the top three destinations in TA 2025 in South America, consolidating the archaeological resource "Nasca Lines" as an alternative to Machu Picchu additional TA. This is because the objectives: a) Develop sustainability of TA in the Nasca region, taking advantage of the current saturation that currently exists in Machu Picchu (Reaño, 2013) and b) Find diversify the supply of TA in Peru, currently the subject decentralizing national tourism department of Cusco. In the short term, they will be designed and offer a different tourism products to existing products at present, which combine archeology, adventure and ecology in the Nasca route concept. For this it is proposed to develop different strategies containing the following components: a) Innovation, adding to supply TA components adventure and ecology, b) Specialization emphasis on ongoing training human talent in charge of offering the tour package customer e) Relationship Excellence-Price, increasing the quality of services offered at a competitive price considering the current market. The formation of the Nasca path proposal is addressed to government authorities in the province of Nasca and Ica, as a new tourist investment proposal that integrates the various tourist destinations in the province in an attractive circuit for foreign tourists, starting the archaeological heritage of Nasca and gather with cultural and adventure destinations. This proposal seeks to provide a standard and quality of this product for tourist agencies in the province, as will be explained later. Finally, we must clarify that the tour packages that make up the Nasca, route developed and offered in this strategic plan must be aligned according to the National Plan for Quality of Peru (Caltur).
