The urgent transfer of education in Russia to a distance format in the context of a pandemic has significant differences from a properly planned online learning based on wide-scale open online courses. Educational organizations that are forced to work with students remotely in order to reduce the risks of the spread of coronavirus should be aware of this difference when assessing the effectiveness of so-called "online learning" using distance learning technologies. Such a drastic measure was forced and urgent. Not all universities were ready for this radical restructuring of the educational process based on objectively different levels of development of information infrastructure, provision of disciplines with electronic educational resources, and readiness of teachers to use digital platforms and services in the educational process. This article analyzes the capabilities of online educational platforms and the opinions of students and teachers, who teach and study online in conditions of the pandemic.

The article examines the influence of social capital on the quality of life of the Russian population and its particular components. The authors point to the problem associated with the social capital of the individual and determine the levels, namely the micro-level (interaction of individuals), meso-level (interaction with organizations), and macro-level (interaction with government bodies, etc.), which form the social capital. In the course of the analysis, the authors reveal the theoretical and methodological approaches of foreign and Russian scientists to the concept of social capital and its components. Based on empirical data from sociological research conducted in 2019, the article analyzes the structure of values of the adult population of Russia, highlights the characteristics of social capital and the degree of their influence on the formation of the quality of life. In the course of the research, the authors focus on the micro-level of the formation and influence of social capital, highlighting such components as a social activity and material security of an individual. In the course of the study, it was found that the social capital of a person affects the quality of a person's life, to a certain extent, forming the circle of his/her interests and values, as well as providing real opportunities for the realization of the interests of the individual and meeting his/her needs. The obtained results of the analysis can be useful for further study of the quality of life.

Based on empirical data from a sociological study conducted in April and May 2019, the article analyzes the structure of socio-economic and perceived parameters of quality of life. The research was funded by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. The article using the factor analysis revealed the typological structure of the values of the adult population of Russia. It is shown that it remains predominantly ?materialistic? (according to R. Inglehart). The most significant is the value of patriotism, and it has a twofold nature - active patriotism and warlike patriotism, each of which expresses a different understanding of love for the motherland. The high importance of family and material wealth remains. The role of ?post-materialist? values is insignificant. The author defined the state of such parameters of the perceived quality of life as physical activity, the importance of physical issues in restricting life activity, the state of mental health, the significance of emotional issues in restricting life activity, the volume of subjective pain sensations, the general state of health, vitality, and social activity. The nature of their change in the 21st century, from 2002 to 2020, is shown. The nature of the relationship between the state of socio-economic and perceived components of the quality of life is determined.

La sociedad contemporánea está experimentando profundos cambios sociales relacionados con la revolución digital. La transformación digital abarca no sólo las actividades de producción y la modificación de las estructuras de organización de empresas y patrones de negocio, sino también transforma considerablemente la realidad social, dinamiza los procesos de cambios sociales, afecta las conexiones sociales, el mercado de trabajo y la estructura de empleo de la población. La adaptación a las condiciones sociales en vías de la modificación es dolorosa, con graves expensas económicas, políticas y sociales. La revolución digital es capaz convertirse en un controlador de la economía rusa, creando, con todo y esto, riesgos para el mercado de trabajo. Estos aspectos se abordan en el artículo.

Based on the empirical data of two sociological studies conducted in accordance with the uniform methodology using the personal questionnaire method in April 2012 and May 2018 (almost immediately after the election of the President of the Russian Federation), the article analyzes the structure of values of Russian urban voters, influencing their attitude to participation in the presidential elections and to the competing candidates, as well as the nature of the changes that took place in the structure during 6 years. The socio-economic and socio-political conditions in Russia in 2012 and in 2018 and their influence on the structure of values of urban voters are considered in the article. The article reveals the reasons why the fewer urban voters participated in the elections and a much larger number of them voted for Vladimir Putin when the economic situation of voters deteriorated in 2012 compared to 2018. It is revealed that within the framework of the “materialistic” value structure of urban voters, the value of material wealth does not play a significant role when voters choose the future development of Russia. The value of unselfish patriotism and family is in the first place. The difficult political conditions in Russia in 2018 gave the voters patriotism a militant character that was absent in 2012.

Одна из острейших проблем современного рынка труда – безработица среди молодежи. Автор считает, что работодатели предъявляют высокие требования при трудоустройстве выпускников, зачастую не соответствующие их профессиональным навыкам и умениям, увеличивая тем самым рост безработицы среди молодежи. Следовательно, приведение в соответствие профессиональной компетенции выпускников вузов с необходимой для предприятий реального сектора экономики профессиональной профилизации является важным фактором повышения уровня трудоустройства выпускников вузов.
