The doctoral thesis examines process of IFRS development, endorsement and enforcement from the perspective of accounting regulation on global scale, identifies nature of IFRS due process in all its phases and compares IFRS due process with accounting regulation in Czech Republic, especially with legislative process of creating Czech accounting legislation. The due process of any accounting rules, whether standards or legislation, determines quality of these rules and consequently also potential level quality of financial statements prepared in accordance with such rules. Process of IFRS development and endorsement is to guarantee quality of standards that are the output of such a process. For global accounting harmonization, which requires transparent, reliable and comparable information in financial reporting across countries of the world, the IFRS due process is essential. The whole process of IFRS development, endorsement and enforcement, which develops IFRS as global accounting standards, also is connected with several obstacles associated to political and social aspects as well as to cultural differentiation. In the thesis the legal systems, as determinants of the nature of accounting regulation, are used for analysis and identification of possible natures of accounting regulation from global perspective. For global accounting regulation it is necessary its acceptance by major interested parties, specification of the range of entities for which it is meaningful and desirable, establishment of an independent, reliable and respected international professional organization in the role of standard-setter and development of a sophisticated, transparent and comprehensive standard setting process. Besides the thorough analysis of particular phases of IFRS due process, the thesis also maps current acceptance of IFRS in the world and describes endorsement process in Europe Union applied for the adoption of IFRS within its area, what provides an integrated view of current evolution in global accounting harmonization. Global accounting regulation, which requires the adoption and application of IFRS in their original range, still faces many obstacles. Less than half countries of G20 (ie 9 countries) requires the use of IFRS in their original form for listed companies. Problem with such acceptance of IFRS especially have the countries with tradition based on Roman law (continental European legal culture), where the creation of rules is exclusive subject to state. Quantitative analysis of IFRS due process performed on three selected projects of IASB agenda is a core of application part of the thesis. On the basis on the timeline the analysis follows particular steps of IFRS due process, especially from the perspective of particular comment periods quantified through the comments received, not only in number but also the composition of comments by geographical region and respondent type. The analysis showed the due process as complicated and time-consuming process leading to global consensus of opinions and also showed the importance of compliance of its complexity, which leads to general agreement on adopted solutions and to global acceptance of these solutions by all of the interested parties. The analysis of IASB due process leads into its comparison with legislative process of creating accounting legislation in Czech Republic. The comparison of both of the processes enables to identify the weaknesses of Czech due process and provides specific recommendations for its improvement and increase efficiency. From the perspective of nature of accounting regulation the delegation of creating accounting rules from the state to the accounting profession is important especially to strengthen the quality, understanding and acceptance of accounting rules, which can be effectively ensured through the due process different from that legislative. The IFRS due process is an inspiration in this case.

Work deals with the problems of noncurrent tangible assets from view of International Financial Reporting Standards and from view of czech accounting regulations. Main result of the work is especially analysis and valorization of these two views, disclosure of their differences or similarities and deduction of effects for accounting.

Práce se zabývá problematikou dlouhodobého hmotného majetku v účetnictví dle Českých účetních standardů (ČÚS) a Mezinárodních standardů účetního výkaznictví (IFRS). Obě oblasti jsou nejdříve rozpracovány samostatně pro seznámení se s danou problematikou. Výsledkem práce je potom především porovnání těchto dvou přístupů, odhalení rozdílů i shod, výhod a nevýhod, předností a nedostatků toho kterého přístupu.

This thesis deals with current amendment of the International Financial Reporting Standards Conceptual Framework. This Amendment is one of the most awaited projects of the International Accounting Standards Board for the year 2017. Conceptual Framework serves as a basic ideological basis and theoretical premise for the creation of the accounting standards. Consistence between Conceptual Framework and IFRS and being up to date are the key factors for the whole system to work properly. This thesis deals with the Conceptual Frameworks development from its beginnings in the USA to the current amendment made by IASB and the thesis is trying to analyse the whole concept of the Conceptual Framework, its importance and its contained information which are under a strong pressure to be perfect. This thesis primary goal is to analyse the current amendment of the Conceptual Framework, which is being evaluated and commented with help of the comment letters received to the Exposure Draft 2015. There are also suggested some recommendations, that should be considered before finalizing the new Conceptual Framework.

This master thesis deals with an issue of the profit and loss statement. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the nature of the financial statements, the individual elements of the financial statements and after that, it focuses on the one particular statement which is profit and loss statement. The thesis also describes the basic building blocks of this particular statement and further specifies its appearance. The analysis is conducted in terms of Czech accounting standards and IFRS. In the analytical part of the thesis, the main focus lies on the research of the explanatory power of the profit and loss statement in practice. It analyzes the statement from the perspective of external users. The researched companies were randomly selected and they publish their financial statements prepared in accordance with Czech accounting standards and IFRS. The main approach used in this master thesis is the financial analysis, within which are carried out the horizontal and vertical analysis, ratios calculations and all results are compared over time and also among competitors. The income statement offers really important information to the users of financial statements, but for deeper explanation users have to always look into the other financial statements, because all of them are connected together.

This thesis mainly deals with creative accounting, at the beginning there is generally characterized accounting. After that it is focused on a specific definition of the concept of creative accounting. There are elaborated motives leading to the use of creative accounting, as well as the most commonly used methods and techniques applied to achieve the desired result. The work continues defining the criminal act associated with economic criminality. Finally, the work gives specific examples from the Czech Republic based on the practice of the Supreme Court, which show that even in the Czech Republic creative accounting practices are used.

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the theme of development of accounting in Slovakia. The thesis is divided into four main chapters. The aim of the first chapter is to define the complex accounting system and provide the basic understanding of this area. The second part chronologically describes the historical process of formation and development of accounting system in generally. It is also devoted to important milestones in the evolution of Slovak accounting legislation, which is terminated by summary of currently valid legal standards. The third chapter follows the topic and it focuses on the international harmonization within the European Community. The last and final section deals with practical view on accounting. It shows accounting statements requirements and changes in legislation following the implementation of EU Council Directive. These changes are attributed to the harmonization process, which the Slovak republic is a part of.

This bachelor degree work deals with long- term tangible and intangible assets in compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards, and compares these standards with Czech acounting regulations. The work consists in the analysis of the problem of long-term tangible and intangible assets, and focuses on the purpose of establishing international standards and Czech accounting regulations. The international standards are primarily set to satisfy the needs of creditors and potential investors. Their authors aim at setting unified and universal accounting regulations relevant for all of their users. Czech accounting regulations do not only serve as an information source for creditors and potential investors; one of their most important users is also the state which creates and amends Czech accounting legislative. Thus both the state and respective lobby groups do have a significant influence upon the final versions of the given regulations. In my work I intend to analyze what impact these substantial factors have on the form of accounting regulations, focusing on long-term tangible and intangible assets. The results I have presented show that the International Financial Reporting Standards allow the given units of account to describe the real and current situation more truly and faithfully, unlike Czech regulations. The reason is that the standards are more detailed and thorough, they contain a higher number of permitted methods and accounting techniques which reflect the real situation of units of account more accurately.

Bachelor thesis "Conceptual changes to lease accounting under IFRS" deals with reporting of leases under International Financial Reporting Standards. It aims to analyse changes brought by convergence project between IASB and FASB. The thesis goes from historical development of lease standard to existing treatment of leases under IAS 17. Then it describes the reasons for convergence process, focusing on Project Leases. Project brought two exposure drafts and one final standard IFRS 16 adopting term "right-of-use-asset". Final part of the thesis examines financial statements of airlines because they are to be considerably affected by the new standard. Research confirms the popularity of operating leases for airlines and in the end, the impact of the new standard on a specific company is shown.

The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the explanatory power of the balance sheet based on French accouting regulation. The first part deals with the general theory of accounting and financial reporting regulation, factors influencing national regulation, form and objectives of financial reporting, with focus on the balance sheet. The second part deals with the French legislative sources for accounting and financial reporting. The third part introduces the definition, structure and method of valuation of assets and liabilities based on French regulation. The fourth and fifth parts are devoted to the profit and loss account and the notes to the financial statements in accordance with French law. The last section contains an analysis of financial statements of a real company, and on this basis explanatory power of balance sheet is evaluated.

The aim of this bachelor thesis named IFRS for SME's and its implementation on the financial statement of the czech enterprise is to evaluate benefits of financial reporting according to The International Financial Reporting Standards for Small and Medium-sized Entities at the czech company. First chapter is analysing reasons of development and benefits of this standard, further chapter is dealing with obligatory parts of financial statements, its qualitative characteristics, assessment and reporting according to The IFRS for SME's. This bachelor thesis deals with permanent and transient decrease in the value of assets in accounting. The theoretical part firstly describes the initial evaluation of assets at the time of their acquisition, and later deals with the decrease in the value of assets with regard to the accounting principles of Czech (CUS) and international (IFRS) accounting standards. It also covers depreciation methods and provisioning for calculating the tax base and the related issue of the deferred tax. In the applicative part of the thesis, the methods mentioned in the theoretical part are demonstrated with several variants, compared to each other, and supplemented with commentary.

This bachelor thesis follows the topic of accounting regulation of small and medium-sized companies in Spain in order to approach this issue to public and professionals in the Czech Republic. At the same time, the thesis provides general information on worldwide accounting regulation, compares it with Spanish approach and brings prove or disprove of the existence of legal formalism in the Kingdom of Spain. To support this, the thesis includes a conceptual accounting framework, accounting and valuation methods, annual financial statements and chart of accounts in the form of the General Accounting Plan.

Author of the bachelor thesis deals with the transposition of the Directive 2013/34/EU into the Czech legislation. The first chapter called Legal regulation of accounting in the EU briefly describes the relation between the Czech and the European law, and it summarizes previous European legislation, in particular the Fourth and the Seventh Accounting Directive. It analyses the reasons for implementing the new accounting Directive, its structure and content in detail and suggests next steps in harmonization of accounting rules in the EU. The thesis "Travel expenses" is dedicated to the travel expenses according to Czech legislation. The aim is to describe the travel reimbursement and to analyze the providing of compensation travel expenses on example of the elementary art school Zruč nad Sázavou. The purpose of this analysis is primarily to find an optimal solution to the problem of determining the place of regular workplace for the travel expenses. The theoretical part focuses on the identification and definition of all principles of travel expenses in the domestic and foreign business trips. Travel expenses tax rules and implication, billing and accounting are also mentioned. The practical part deals with travel reimbursement in the allowance organization elementary art school Zruč nad Sázavou, where an analysis of current situation of travel expenses was made according to aims of the thesis. The thesis also solve the problem of determining the place of regular workplace in the allowance organisations and it contains proposes a new internal directive for travel expenses. All the information regarding the problematics of travel expenses is based on the status from 1st of January 2015.

The thesis deals with the topic of employee benefits in the Czech Republic. At first, the thesis sets employee benefits to specific area of the company, which is an in-house social policy of the company. Following part deals with the legislative framework, which regulates the providing of these benefits in 2015. The thesis includes a chapter describing the employee benefits, their structure and their various distribution systems. Analysis of the trends in the provision of employee benefits creates another part of the thesis. Three types of employee benefits are analyzed in detail: meal allowances, educational allowances and contributions to employees' pension savings. In the conclusion of thesis is explored the whole system of employee benefits used in the company Siemens Ltd., where are analyzed its individual benefits and includes evaluation of a questionnaire.

Emphasis is placed on describing the different approaches and alternative solutions that have been proposed by IASB stuff during the development process. Diploma thesis describes jurisprudence of tax law and abuse of tax law. The aim of this thesis is to specify the term abuse of law more clearly and assess the development of abuse of law in Czech jurisprudence in area of taxes up to year 2015.

The theoretical part provides information on the origin and development of this standard, including its current expansion across the European Union and beyond. The individual rules of IFRS for SMEs and their practical application is captured in the second part, which outlines the procedure for the transition of the financial statements selected Czech company that uses the Czech accounting standards into those of the IFRS for SMEs with emphasis on capturing individual adjustments primarily in the actual balance sheet.

This bachelor thesis deals with financial statements presented in accordance with IFRS for SME and its comparison with the ones presented in accordance with Czech Accounting Rules. Firstly, IFRS are introduced and information about their usability are provided. After that, financial statements presented in accordance with IFRS for SME and Czech Accounting Rules are recognized. The present diploma thesis focuses on the judicial decisions resolved in administrative judiciary. The first part of the thesis describes the role of general practice of the court in the Czech republic and the types of its legal liability. Then, the thesis concentrates on the administrative judiciary and its legal liability. The second and the third chapter deal with individual judicial decisions that were selected from the areas of foreign currency and accrued assets and accrued liabilities.

And following this comparison to find whether there is some conceptual framework of financial reporting system in the Czech Republic.

The work is about the differences in accounting according to company management, defines the possible differences in the financial statements between companies led by the owners or managers. The theoretical part defines the function and history of accounting, users of financial data, origin and activities of the audit, including a description of regulatory accounting statements in the Czech Republic and their explanatory power. The work focuses on the possible role of relationship conflicts owner and manager in connection with accounting. The practical part deal with results of the questionnaire and discusses selected cases of conflicts of financial analysis specific entity, which is also the owner of the business manager. Financial statements present the end of the whole accounting work in a company during an accounting period. This bachelor thesis focuses on the presentation of financial statements from the point of view of the czech accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards. Firstly, the bachelor thesis defines financial statements in general. Then it describes regulations and components of financial statements in both accounting systems. Apart from that the thesis talks about changes in accounting estimates, corrections of accounting errors, changes in accounting methods and adjustments events after the reporting period. Interim financial statements are mentioned here as well. Last but not least, the thesis provides comparison of both types of financial statements and related areas. The aim of this thesis is to describe financial accounting in existing advertising agency, which has to report financial information to parent company placed in USA. The parent company use the US GAAP principles and prepares consolidated financial statements for all the comapnies in the group.

Diploma project is based on deferred tax and didactical theory and methods of teaching deferred tax. Project is interested in the essence of deferred income tax and in the principle of its recognition. Part of the project put mind to the timing differences and to the income tax rate. The assesment of the deferred tax liabilities or deferred tax assets took part of the project as well. Then the didactical principles are mentioned and the didactical analysis are accomplished. Also the analysis of the course books are done.

The third part is both of these adjustments compared with each other, and explains the difference.
