The bachelor thesis is focused on the provision of speech therapy intervention in children's homes in the Královéhradecký region.The bachelor thesis is divided into three chapters, two theoretical and one empirical chapter. In the first chapter of the theoretical part, basic concepts such as speech therapy, communication, speech, language and impaired communication ability are explained. Next, the first chapter is devoted to the development of speech, language and communication within the planes and lastly, it describes children's homes and their functioning, the role of the educator and the child and the communication skills of children from children's homes. The second chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to speech therapy intervention, the definition of the term and its activities, its position within the health and education departments. The subject of this thesis is a comprehensive job description of educators in a facility for children requiring immediate assistance, in the form of a case study of a selected Children´s centre (Dětské centrum Jihočeského kraje). The first part of the thesis provides a general description of facilities for children requiring immediate assistance in the Czech Republic from the perspective of legislation, as well as the history and basic information about the way these facilities operate. Next, the activity of the Children´s centre is presented in terms of its aims, target group, the length of children's stay and the departure of children from the facility. The following chapters present a research describing the complexities of the work done by educators in the Children's Centre, including several illustrative case reports of children with whom the educators worked recently.

The main research objective of this thesis is to find out how pedagogical assistants and educators in after-school clubs think about educating children with behavioural disorders and behavioural problems. The first chapter attempts to distinguish between behavioural disorders and behavioural problems, defines ethopedics and behavioural disorders, their etiology, and diagnostics. The second chapter deals with inclusive education for students with special needs and defines the position of teaching assistants in terms of Czech legislation. The third chapter presents qualitative research consisting of four phenomenological interviews. The research aim is to explore and understand the experience of pedagogical assistants and educators in after-school clubs educating children with behavioural disorders and behavioural problems. The findings of the research are compared with the theory presented in the professional literature, and, in conclusion, recommendations for educational practice are suggested.

The aim of this work was to map the activities of children's home workers in the care of children with disabilities and children without disabilities. The research set consisted of six staff members from the Children's Home, Primary School, and School Canteen Radenín, one of whom was a social worker who is an essential component in childcare. The research was carried out by qualitative research. A method of questioning was used to answer the research questions and a semi-structured interview was the technique. The data obtained from the interviews was evaluated by open coding and then breaking the codes into categories. Based on the research carried out, it has emerged that the education of children in a children´s home varies greatly, due to a visit to two types of schools when children come with different difficulty of tasks. There needs to be a difference in access to education for children with disabilities and children without disabilities. This brings me to the answer to the second research question, when workers in education with children with disabilities have to use certain specific aids to make it easier for children to work. Workers with specific aids not only encounter children with disabilities in education, but also in developing motor and skills in a boy with cerebral palsy. The work brings knowledge in the field of education of children with disabilities and the use of special aids when working with these children. The aids can be educational cards, which serve as an aid to the development of communication skills, or an auxiliary table for multiplication. It is clear from the research that an assistant educator is an indispensable component in working with children with disabilities because these children need individual care.

The Bachelor thesis "Portfolio of Professional Development" is devoted to professional development in eight chapters. The work touches on the personality of the tutor, the activities of the school's retinue, the qualifications and competencies of the tutor, the workplace and the university studies. The next chapter contains a professional analysis of the tutor, the following, a case study of the school, written preparation for an hour and, at the end, a reflective reflection on her own studies, which helped the author to reflect on her own professional growth. One of the chapters is focused on the analysis of the book "School Discipline in Theory and Practice", which fit into the concept of the whole work. The thesis deals with social relationships in the school group from the perspective of educators and on the roles that arise due to these relationships. That is, whether the educators realize that the school group is a space for interactions between children. The theoretical part focuses on chapters from social psychology related to the topic of this thesis. It also describes the field of leisure pedagogy, characterizes individual school facilities for non-formal education and educators of the school group. The practical part is devoted to interviews that were conducted with five educators from three different primary schools and it also briefly comments on the interview with two children attending one of the school groups. A question about the formality of the interviews arose during the interviews, thus the practical part also touches upon the comparison of the impact of the environment in which the interview takes place or the length of the respondent's practice. The findings show that all the educators that were questioned by the author of this thesis are aware that the school group is an environment for children's interactions, where children establish relationships and try different roles. However, not all of them can apply this knowledge to their praxis.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to determine the degree of background and emotional careprovided to children in a children's home. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the role of the educator and the requirements for the necessity of empathy and active listening. Subsequently, the practical part on the basis of semi-structured interviews describes the real state and degree of communication. The core is therefore an insight into the daily work of the educator. From the empirical part, the fact arises that despite the increasing administrative burden and other activities, the level of helpfulness, empathy and active listening is inviolable. The time devoted to children is not at the expense of other activities and the care is limited only by the time possibilities within the day.

This Bachelor thesis, named "Particularities of Work of Leisure Time Teacher and Educator in Prison ", deals with the basic terms of the prison system and a brief description of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic in the first theoretical part. In the next part, the thesis focuses on the work of a leisure time teacher and educator and also on the professions in these fields. The studying of reference books, organizing and drawing up of the work was used to finish the theoretical part. The aim of the practical part was to find out what the particularities of leisure time teachers and educators in prison are. Also, to determine the biggest differences between these professions and what they have in common. The questionnaire was used to find the answers to these questions. The research was implemented in the Detention Prison of České Budějovice. It was qualitative research with united questions. The questionnaire was printed and given to the respondents. The respondents were divided into two imaginary groups (R1, R2) according to their answers to the first question. Then the respondents were matched to the groups. Finally, the thesis describes and explains the confirmation or disproval of the assumptions.

This diploma thesis is focused on finding out the educational procedures used by educators in orphanages related to health education. The theoretical part discusses the concepts of health education and institutional care in the Czech Republic. In the practical part was ascertained the view of educators and head educators in orphanages on the physical and mental health of entrusted children and their eating and drinking habits. These data were collected by creating a self designed survey, containing 28 questions. The results obtained from the survey show that 66,7 % of educater respondents are sufficiently engaged in physical activity of children, 69,4 % talks to children about healthy eating and 77,8 % of educater respondents know some techniques of stress regulation.

The diploma thesis Education of children in a children's home with a school in Dobřichovice is focused on the issue of education and resocialization of a child in a facility for institutional education and on the preparation of children for future life. The theoretical part defines the chapters Education, Behavioral Disorders, Deprivation and Stress. They are here as an insight into the given issue, what problems and disorders clients come to the children's home with the school and what the workers encounter on a daily basis. A separate chapter consists of the characteristics of a specific children's home with a school, education and development of the child's personality in this facility. Leisure activities for primary school children at a school camp Barbora Čopíková Abstract This diploma thesis is focusing on problematics of games and other activities at a school camp for primary school children. Theoretical part of this diploma thesis describes the age of primary school children and their physical, psychical, social a motor development. Another important part is about the concept of game and their specifics about their division, signs, rules, safety and meaning for primary school children. This part focuses on problematics of competition and leisure time, which mainly relate with the keyword game. I choose the topic of my bachelor's thesis on the basis of practice, personal experience and the experience of colleagues in the field. I deal with the description of the activities and risks associated with activities of social workers to achieve the goals in homes for abandoned children with school. I used a qualitative research, method of semi-structured interviews, to achieve these goals. Five social workers from these institutions in Czech Republic were willing to do the interview with me. It was found that the role of social worker is very important and diverse in its content. The social worker is an intermediary between the institution for these kids and all other related institutions. Social worker coordinates the admission of children and administratively ensures their admission, transfer and release, cooperates and mediates contact with OSPOD, CSSA, Czech police, courts, schools and medical facilities. An integral part of his job is the mediation and enabling contact with the family, neighbors, foster parents, informs them about what is happening in the facility and maintains close contact with children and informs them about their family situation appropriate to the age and mental abilities of the child. The objective of this Bachelor thesis is on the topic "Relationship between an educator and a child living in a children's home" is to describe relationship between an educator and a child in children's home environment. The theoretical part clarifies subjects connected to children's homes issue, the educators' occupation and foster care, this part also describes psychosocial process and the importance of family in child's social development. The practical part is then based on my experience from individual children's homes and presents gathered data from interviews with the educators. Based on the data analysis I found factors influencing the relationship between an educator and a child. The analyses also clarified what the actual relationship looks like and what role the educator plays in it. Thanks to this research, other difficulties connected to the institutional care issue were found. Four types of educators were detected, furthermore specific behavioral patterns connected to the types of educators were described. Theoretical part focuses on children's Home as an institution and on social work in children's Home. It describes possible causes for placing children in constitutional care and socially-legal children protection. It also describes family and related di- sorders of parenthood and families. It's mentioned here the meaning of life and questions about the purpose of existence as viewed by Viktor E. Frankl. The theore- tical part characterizes working in direct client care and children age categories, es- pecially preschool age, school age and adolescence. The deprivation of child related to placement in children's home is also described at the end of theoretical part. Practical part concentrates on qualitative research with the goal of mapping ideas of children about life from the view of caretakers. It processes structured inter- views with open questions of four participants, then it separates the children ideas into age groups, where the reader can even see how the ideas have evolved with age.

This thesis deals with current qualifying requirements on pedagogical workers working at primary and secondary schools in context of component goals achievement given by Education Policy Strategy 2020. It is devided into two parts. The teoretical part is devoted to amendments to Act n. 563/2004 (Act on Educational Workers) from the perspective of legal claims to professional qualification of pedagogical workers and searches connects with component goals defined in Education Policy Strategy 2020 and other curricural documents. It captures possible pitfalls of providing skilled pedagogical workers that follow from regional situation on the labor market and describes possibilities of their solutions includinng opinions of control members especially Czech School Inspection. It defines goverment priorities in relation to the teaching profession. The research part compares availability of skilled pedagogical workers in parts of two Czech Republic regions where there is assumption of different potential on labor market. This bachelor thesis deals with parents' und children's perceptions, opinions and expectations regarding the after school club centre of General František Fajtl DFC Grammar School and Kindergarten in the district of Prague-Letňany. The explorative part of the thesis entails a survey via questionnaires on parents' expectations and opinions how the school youth centre works. Attending children's perceptions of strengths and weaknesses of the youth centre are included as well. The theoretical part of the thesis analyses normative goals, mission, function and staff conditions of school youth centres in general and the above mentioned centre in particular. The question of mutual cooperation between parents and staff in charge is also discussed. The conclusion synthesises the main findings of both of these parts - that is, the expectations of the parents and children are compared with the theoretical groundwork and supplemented with feasible options of its implementation.

This bachelor thesis deals with left-handedness (sinistrality) in the environment of after-school clubs. The theoretical part defines sinistrality with respect to attitude to it in history, describes the types and forms of sinistrality and deals with the options how to recognize it, describes the possibilities of modern approach and support of left-handed children. It also defines the environment, functions and contents of activities in after- school clubs and describes possible support of left-handed children in after-school clubs. The goal of the practical research is to map the attitude of educators to left-handed children, to find out what kind of tools are used in the activities in clubs, to describe quality of equipment and facilities in the classrooms and also to find out what parents expect from the educators. The diploma thesis is focused on educator's function in development of nonspeech areas of children with communicative disability. The thesis consists of two main parts. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters which gradually introduce the development of the child at a younger school age, communicative disability, nonspeech areas of comunication and education of children with communicative disability. This information provides a basic insight into issues of work and makes it easier to be well informed about topic. The empirical part presents the qualitative research in which four pupils with communicative disability are involved. The aim of the research is to find out the difficulties in nonspeech areas and what influence the educator of the after-school club can have on their development. Sensory perception, cognitive processes and motor skills are analyzed in accoradance with these goals. Changes between investigations are also observed. The chapter contains case studies of pupils that include personal and family history, individual children's abilities, social interaction and information about speech therapy. ABSTRACT: This thesis deals with prosocial behavior, the circumstances of its occurrence in children of primary school for children with special educational needs. It is a description of the term of prosocial behavior and briefly shows the history of the education of children with disabilities. The work also describes the school environment of the above-mentioned school, the types of handicap of individual children and describes the situations during which prosocial behavior occurs. In the end, the author tries to combine the findings of prosocial behavior and the history of children's education with their own experience and observation. The thesis is focused on the specifics of work of pedagogical worker with socially disadvantaged children during the process of their integration into the out of school care environment. The thesis is trying to find out how the pedagogical workers detect such disadvantage and furthermore how are they handling this problem. The research part is based on qualitative research strategy using the methods of observation, casuistry and open interviews.

My thesis aims at the function of breakfast and after school clubs based on children's, parents and supervisors' views. The quantitative research took place in three different clubs in three different local primary schools, and the other part of the qualitative research is based on semi structured interviews with 5 different after school members of staff. The theoretical part of my thesis analyses the topic free time before and after school and two concrete sociological researches. Furthermore it describes the function of before and after school clubs based on Pavkova and Hajek literature. The next part is aimed at supervisors' and family function. The last part of my theoretical thesis is aimed at pupils milestones at primary schools. The practical part is devided into qualitative and quantitative research. In the quantitative research the questionnaires for parents and children have been analysed and seen in tables and grafs. The research questions aim at to find out what is perceived as the most important function of before and after school clubs and what they liked to be improved. The qualitative part is aimed at analysing a semi-structured questionnaire. It aims at supervisors' purpose, relationships between them and the parents, relationships between the pupils and members of staff.

The bachelor thesis refers to the issue of social relations in children's homes. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is focused on the main concepts and topics, which include characteristics of children's homes, detailed description of life in a children's home and specifics of children from the children's home with attention to their emotionality, sociability and also to the representation of multiculturalism in children's homes. This paper deals with the trust as an aspect of pedagogical relationship between a child in primary school age and a school club educator. The first part is theoretical. It describes a primary school age child from the developmental psychology point of view. It explains the phenomenon of trust and its relationship with close concepts. It defines concepts such as self-confidence, self-concept, and self-respect. It also characterizes the first stage of psycho-social development according to Erickson, pedagogical relationship between a school club educator and a primary school age child, personality and authority of a school club educator and the school club itself. The practical part deals with a basic research question: whether children at the first degree of a primary school perceive their school club educator as a trustworthy person to whom they can confide. The research was conducted through an unfinished story and a semi-structured interview. The conclusion shows that children perceive their school club educator as a trustworthy person, who they characterize as a nice, kind, sometimes a strict person who is competent to solve children´s problems. The children trust the educator due to his/her authority of an adult person and a pedagogical worker.

The text of this work is primarily based on the works of Wolfgang Brezinka, focusing on the philosophy of education and on many sociological works by Zygmunt Bauman, which are cited for better orientation in the philosophical-educational context of the chapter focusing on the philosophy of education used in the antiquity The aim was to present the reader with at least a brief awareness of the individual aspects of the philosophy of education as presented by Brezinka and to supplement it with the possible aspects that can be taken from Bauman, who primarily focuses on exploring the socio-cultural phenomena of the modern society. Gradually, the essential characteristics, features, and characteristics that accompanied the upbringing in antiquity are presented, just as the educational aims and beliefs in relation to the upbringing that is presented by Brezinka. Furthermore, there are discussed and examined the pitfalls of modernism and postmodernism in relation to personality, culture, society and philosophical-educational possibilities as pointed out by Bauman. This thesis examines the possibilities of linking the interest in a child (a participant in interest education in the field of education of leisure) with the interest in achieving the goals of various leisure education activities, as well as the goals being (co)determined by the child itself. The thesis strives to find the solution in a method in which an activity goal of the child is transformed into a goal of the tutor with the intention of encouraging the child's personal development. The thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter deals with educational goals and the goals of leisure education.The following chapter explores the goals of education as set by various pedagogical conceptions and alternative approaches to the isme. The third chapter acquaints the reader with the psychological potential of the target group.The last chapter is dedicated to the growth of child's potential, its ability of free choice and decision making, expressions of creativity, and the "flow" state.

The aim of the thesis is to create a program of chosen topic for the after school childcare which will help children with theirs attitudes toward other ethnic groups. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the origin and racial division of people, the largest and the most famous ethnic groups in the Czech Republic and theirs associated concepts as well as attitudes towards these groups.
