In the article the results of studies to determine the level of total, free and bacterial ATP in the milk of healthy cows on the farm in Moscow region. The number of total ATP (bacterial, somatic and free), as well as the level of free ATP in the samples of milk were measured in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, using a special test system into a luminometer HY-LiTE2 (Merk, Germany) after a preliminary sample preparation. ATF bacteria in milk was determined as the difference between total and free ATP after the destruction of somatic cells. It is noted that when increasing the number of somatic cells in milk of healthy cows from 191,3±9,6 thousand/cm3 to 310,4±15,5 thousand/cm3, the total level of ATP is increased from 10389,8±415,6 RLU to 16637,0±499,1 RLU-free – from 5274,8±210,9 RLU to 10089,6±403,6 RLU, the values of total ATP higher levels of free ATP in 2 times. It is established that the level of bacteria in milk of healthy animals was (2,1±0,2)×104 to (1,9±0,1)×106 CFU/cm3, not dependent on the values of somatic cells and did not correlate with indices of total and free ATP. Determined that an increase in the number of microorganisms in milk bacterial ATP values proportionally increase. The figures may vary 1,5–2 times.

The work reflects the results of studies to determine the level of bacterial, free and total ATP in the secretion of the udders of patients with cow mastitis. The level of ATP-bioluminescence, including total, free and bacterial ATP, was determined using the HY-LiTE®2 (Merk, Germany) luminometer and special test systems. When studying the secretion of udder cows with patients with clinical purulent mastitis, it was not possible to determine the correlation between number of microorganisms and ATP values, since microorganisms were absent in 50% of samples. It was found that in the secretion of the udder of cows with a subclinical form of udder inflammation, the values of somatic cells were 2,5-3 times higher than those of healthy animals. With the increase in the number of somatic cells, total ATP, in contrast to free, increased. At the maximum level of somatic cells, ATP parameters differed 4-fold. It was noted that with the increase in the total ATP in the secretion of the udders of sick cows, the content of microorganisms was proportionally increased, while there was no correlation between number of microorganisms and the level of free ATP. It was determined that an elevated level of free ATP and number of microorganisms was observed in 14.3% of udder secretion samples at low values of somatic cells (at the level of indices in healthy animals). It was noted that with the increase of number of microorganisms, the values of ATP of bacteria increase.

The article presents the results of studies of sterilized milk on the presence of residual (total and free) ATP, the possibility of using sterile milk containing a significant amount of free ATP, as a full-fledged substrate for the cultivation of E. coli. The level of ATP-bioluminescence was determined by HY-LiTE®2 (Merk, Germany) luminometer in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions using special test systems. It has been established that with the sterilization of milk, somatic cells are destroyed, and only free ATP remains. By the level of free ATP, you can indirectly judge the amount of somatic cells in raw prefabricated milk taken by dairies and, as a consequence, the quality of the milk being procured. It was determined that when bacteria were introduced into sterilized milk after 6 hours of incubation, the level of free ATP decreased 5 times, the parameters of bacterial ATP increased 4 times against the background of an increase in the level of bacteria by 2 times. At the same time, it was noted that in the meat infusion agar during this time interval, the ATP of bacteria increased only by 1,3 times, in physiological salinity the indices remained at the same level.

Тhe article presents the results of studies to determine the amount of bacterial ATP in pure and mixed cultures of microorganisms. The level of ATP-bioluminescence was determined using the HY-LiTE®2 (Merk, Germany) luminometer in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions using special test systems. In the course of the experiments, the numerical values of bacterial ATP of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus have been determined. It was found that at the concentration of E. coli (1,5 ± 0,1)∙102…(2,1 ± 0,2)∙106 CFU / cm3, the level of ATP was 323,9 ± 16,2…22666,8 ± 906,7 RLU. At equal number of bacteria, the level of ATP St. aureus exceeded the level of ATP escherichia by 1,4…1,8 times. It was noted that in mixed cultures of Escherichia coli and staphylococcus, the values of ATP were average values between ATP escherichia and staphylococcal ATP and were within 423,4 ± 29,6…28334,1 ± 2550,1 RLU with the number of microorganisms (1,75 ± 0, 1) ∙ 102…(1,5 ± 0,1)∙106 CFU/cm3. It was found that in pure and mixed cultures of microorganisms between the level of bacteria and the parameters of ATP there is a linear dependence: the more the number of bacteria, the higher the level of ATP.
