The article deals with the influence of Globigen® Pig Doser and Globigen® Jump Start products, which contain specific Ig Y, which is characterized by pronounced immunostimulating properties. A comprehensive analysis of the use and influence of these agents on the morphological and biochemical indicators of the blood of young pigs under conditions of intensive technologies under different methods of cultivation in different periods of their growth and development – 30, 60, and 120 days – was carried out. It was set that the use of the proposed means had a prolonged positive effect, which concerning hematological indicators, mainly appeared by an increase in the number of erythrocytes and the concentration of hemoglobin in the blood of experimental groups of animals of both farms of all age periods. It is worth noting that in the farm with single-phase breeding of pigs (FE PE “Glynyany Agro”) under the influence of Globigen®Pig Doser, the number of erythrocytes in the blood of animals was increased and, corresponding to the physiological norm, fluctuated between 7.09 and 7.43 T/l, and the concentration of hemoglobin, having reached the maximum value, in the blood of all experimental groups of animals was 108.62–112.77 g/l. In the farm, which practices three-phase pig breeding (“Meat Resources” Ltd.), under the influence of Globigen® Pig Doser, a pronounced effect has appeared in animals 60 and 120 days old; the number of erythrocytes in their blood was increased to 7.46–7.69 T/l, and under the influence of Globigen® Jump Start, a tendency to a gradual increase in hemoglobin concentration was observed, which stopped at 99.28 g/l in 120-day-old piglets. Evaluating the level of protein metabolism in animals under the influence of Globigen® Pig Doser and Globigen® Jump Start, a tendency to increase the total protein content, compared to the control, in the blood of animals in all age periods in both farms was set. It was noted that under the action of Globigen®Jump Start, the total protein content in the blood of 120-day-old piglets from a farm with single-phase farming (FE PE “Glynyany Agro”) was 76.38 g/l, and in a farm with three-phase farming (Ltd. “Meat resources”) 75.08 g/l. In addition, it was set that the normalization of the ratio of protein fractions, in particular, the use of Globigen® Pig Doser and Globigen® Jump Start, increased the synthesis of albumin and normalized gamma-globulin to the level of the physiological norm. The “Glynyany Agro” FE found a more pronounced effect with single-phase piglet rearing. It was concluded that Globigen® Pig Doser and Globigen® Jump Start positively influence maintaining body homeostasis.

Резюме. Полоскання ротової порожнини є ефективним профілактичним заходом, який необхідно проводити після кожного прийому їжі. У процесі полоскання відбувається механічне очищення поверхні зубів від залишків їжі, нальоту, з ясен і зубоясенних кишень. У результаті регулярного полоскання попереджається розвиток патологічних процесів і покращується кровообіг у тканинах ротової порожнини. Існують спеціальні рідини для полоскання рота, а саме ополіскувачі та зубні еліксири, які є додатковими засобами індивідуальної гігієни порожнини рота. Мета дослідження – провести огляд основних ополіскувачів, представлених на ринку, проаналізувати їх позитивні на негативні характеристики та ососбливості їх призначення, залежно від клінічного випадку. Матеріали і методи. Проведено огляд та аналіз науково-медичної літератури за 2008–2018 рр., звітних матеріалів методично-наукових організацій, діючих нормативно-правових документів. Зосере­джено увагу на особливостях застосування зубних еліксирів та ополіскувачів для ротової порожнини. Результати досліджень та їх обговорення. У статті подано огляд літератури стосовно застосування зубних еліксирів та ополіскувачів для ротової порожнини. Розглянуто їх класифікацію відповідно до призначення. Наведено короткі характеристики, показання та особливості застосування в різних клінічних випадках. Висновки. Незважаючи на всю користь від використання ополіскувачів, потрібно пам’ятати, що полоскання ротової порожнини ефективне лише в комплексі процедур з догляду за зубами та яснами. Для повноцінної гігієни стоматологи рекомендують використовувати зубну щітку, зубну пасту, ополіскувач та зубну нитку.

Background. This article focuses on the experience of great saphenous vein (GSV) harvesting by the method of "skin bridges" in operations of coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Objective. To show the possibility of using minimally invasive GSV harvesting in CABG operations. Material and methods. We applied the two methods of BPV harvesting in patients with ischemic heart disease (standard and open method of "skin bridges"). Results. Comparative evaluation of these methods enables to make a preliminary judgment about their advantages and disadvantages. The results obtained were compared with those of other clinics in endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH). Conclusions. A method of "skin bridges" harvesting in the hands of a competent surgeon is comparable to the EE way of vein harvesting.

Classification of problems of decision-making with adduction variants of situations, analysis of the indicated problems that related to the decision of TKHO of the military forming.

This paper studies, experimentally and theoretically, the grad-B drift transport and focusing of an intense electron beam. The Naval Research Laboratory’s Gamble II generator [J. D. Shipman, Jr., IEEE Trans. Nucl. Sci. NS-18, 243 (1971)] was used to drive a 900 kV, 850 kA beam. This beam drifted in the radial magnetic field gradient produced by an on-axis guide wire carrying a current of 40 kA. An additional axial magnetic field gradient generated by focusing spokes was used to radially compress the beam. Experimental diagnostics included radially resolved calorimetry and radiachromic film to study wall losses. Extensive simulations were performed to better understand the experiments. Energy transport efficiencies were slightly below 70%, and the focusing spokes were observed to compress the beam radius by approximately 10%.

Summary form only given. For beam transport through a background gas, the physics of ionization and recombination processes can, through charge and current neutralization, have a strong effect on transport efficiency and beam control. We explore ionization processes and transport efficiencies of intense electron beams in moderate-pressure (0.5 to 50 Torr) air through simulations with the hybrid code LSP, experiments on Gamble II, and simple analytical models. LSP self-consistently solves the electromagnetic fields and pushes particles with an implicit algorithm while locally tracking beam impact ionization, electron avalanche processes, and recombination and attachment. We use LSP to numerically determine the scaling of secondary electron density, background conductivity, and net-current fraction as functions of neutral pressure, pre-ionization level, beam current density and beam divergence. Furthermore, we present a simple analytical model applying the gas physics of LSP in reduced geometry.

Propagation of pulsed electron beams in grad B channels has been studied extensively theoretically and experimentally as a method for guiding such beams at high energy densities onto a converter target to generate intense bremsstrahlung radiation. A key problem in making this approach practical is the efficient injection of the beam from the diode into the drift tube. A method for achieving nearly 100% injection from the diode into the drift channel was developed at Kharkiv State University (KhSU) for 50 kA beams. This method uses an injection of the beam from a ring diode into the grad B drift tube with an appropriate transition of the magnetic field from the diode into the drift tube. Scaling experiments have been performed at up to 100 kA level at KhSU and are being extended to >500 kA level on Gamble II generator at the Naval Research Laboratory.

The results of experimental research on bremsstrahlung gas converters are reported in the paper. The idea to use some heavy gas for bremsstrahlung generation was suggested previously. To increase the radiation loss density of electrons in gas the electron gradient drift in azimuthal magnetic field produced by line current is used. The gas converter experiments have been performed on Nadezshda, nanosecond electron accelerator at about 1 MeV accelerating voltage and 7 Ohm output impedance of the double forming line.

The quest for perfect Bremsstrahlung targets feasible for rapidly expanding technology of high-power electron accelerators led the researchers of the seventies to the idea of applying thin metal foils placed into magnetic field. Further development of this trend led to the idea of intensive electron beams along the current carrying conductor B-gradient drift application. Usage of the background gas in the pressure range of some Torr in the drift chamber gives rise to charge and current neutralization of the beam, which provides effective transport of electron beams with currents considerably exceeding the Alfven limit. Azimuthal magnetic field provides multiple traversal of the thin targets by electrons which causes high increase of the beam energy deposition and of the soft part of Bremsstrahlung spectrum yield. The improved construction of the device enabled nearly 100 % of the diode-generated electron beam to be delivered to the target which consisted of two thin Tanfalum foils placed like-V, and to create a high-effective Bremsstrahlung converter with enhanced yield of X-rays in 100 keV energy range. To retain the advantages of thin multitraversal targets and to expand the field of their application, the authors proposed to use some heavy gases with pressures of atmospheric order as the working material.

To support the signed International Treaties for the nuclear weapon reduction demands development of reliable universal and trustworthy means of control over their location and quantity. The same means are required to solve the problem of control over nonproliferation of nuclear weapons, including illicit transportation of Uranium and Plutonium isotopes, used in nuclear warheads. The existing detecting systems provide the reliable information mainly on the static-based nuclear facilities.

The processes of a gas production were investigated during microwave pulses in microsecond vircator. The influence of vacuum conditions was investigated and the velocity of cathode plasma was determined. Specific values of gas desorption and the partial composition was investigated for different cathodes. The parameters of the diode electron accelerator are the following: beam energy 300 keV, beam current up to 10 kA, half-period 1,5 /spl mu/s. Cathode and anode diameters are 10 cm and 20 cm, accordingly. Vacuum chamber diameter is 50 cm, anode-cathode gap is 2 cm. The duration of microwave radiation is 0,5 /spl mu/s, wavelength is about 10 cm, output microwave power is about 1.5/spl middot/10/sup 8/ W. Amount of gassing reaches 0.3 cm/sup 3/. Ion energy reaches 200-300 keV value.
