Secured data transmission is a major concern in vehicular framework. The communication between vehicle-to-vehicle which helps in transferring of message. This survey was exposed to major attacks. Conventional safety techniques are based on key management and message encryption. The two techniques guarantee data transfer between source node and destination node in a secured manner. In vehicular framework, each and every vehicle acts as a source node as well as a destination node depending on the type of data. In the surrounding environment, it supplies the information between the stranger vehicles as well. This explains secure data is also transferred between malicious vehicles due to which interference makes much more complicated. In this paper, I want to carry out a brief survey on the VANETS and the secure message transmission methods which has been carried out so far. Though there are many techniques available, I want to analyze the problems which are faced during the implementation of VANETS and its secure transmission.
