Abstract: Abstract First physics results of the BM@N experiment at the Nuclotron/NICA complex are presented on π + and K + meson production in interactions of an argon beam with fixed targets of C, Al, Cu, Sn and Pb at 3.2 A GeV. Transverse momentum distributions, rapidity spectra and multiplicities of π + and K + mesons are measured. The results are compared with predictions of theoretical models and with other measurements at lower energies.

Abstract: Abstract The production of $$K^{0}_{S}$$ K S 0 mesons in inelastic p+p collisions at beam momentum 158 $$\text{ GeV }/c$$ GeV / c ( $$\sqrt{s_{NN}}=17.3$$ s NN = 17.3 $$\text{ GeV }$$ GeV ) was measured with the NA61/SHINE spectrometer at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron. Double-differential distributions were obtained in transverse momentum and rapidity. The mean multiplicity of $$K^{0}_{S}$$ K S 0 was determined to be $$0.162 \pm 0.001 (stat.) \pm 0.011 (sys.)$$ 0.162 ± 0.001 ( s t a t . ) ± 0.011 ( s y s . ) . The results on $$K^{0}_{S}$$ K S 0 production are compared with model predictions (EPOS 1.99, SMASH 2.0, PHSD and UrQMD 3.4 models) as well as with published world data.

Abstract: Abstract Double-differential yields of $${\Xi \left( 1530\right) ^{0}} $$ Ξ 1530 0 and $${\overline{\Xi }\left( 1530\right) ^{0}} $$ Ξ ¯ 1530 0 resonances produced in p+p interactions were measured at a laboratory beam momentum of 158 $$\text{ GeV }\!/\!c$$ GeV / c . This measurement is the first of its kind in p+p interactions below LHC energies. It was performed at the CERN SPS by the NA61/SHINE collaboration. Double-differential distributions in rapidity and transverse momentum were obtained from a sample of $$26\times 10^6$$ 26 × 10 6 inelastic events. The spectra are extrapolated to full phase space resulting in mean multiplicity of $${\Xi \left( 1530\right) ^{0}} $$ Ξ 1530 0 ( $$6.73 \pm 0.25\pm 0.67)\times 10^{-4}$$ 6.73 ± 0.25 ± 0.67 ) × 10 - 4 and $${\overline{\Xi }\left( 1530\right) ^{0}} $$ Ξ ¯ 1530 0 ( $$2.71 \pm 0.18\pm 0.18)\times 10^{-4}$$ 2.71 ± 0.18 ± 0.18 ) × 10 - 4 . The rapidity and transverse momentum spectra and mean multiplicities were compared to predictions of string-hadronic and statistical model calculations.

Abstract: Abstract The physics goal of the strong interaction program of the NA61/SHINE experiment at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS) is to study the phase diagram of hadronic matter by a scan of particle production in collisions of nuclei with various sizes at a set of energies covering the SPS energy range. This paper presents differential inclusive spectra of transverse momentum, transverse mass and rapidity of $$\pi ^{-}$$ π - mesons produced in central $${}^{40}$$ 40 Ar+ $${}^{45}$$ 45 Sc collisions at beam momenta of 13A, 19A, 30A, 40A, 75A and 150 $$A\,\text{ Ge }\text{ V }\!/\!\textit{c}$$ A Ge V / c . Energy and system size dependence of parameters of these distributions – mean transverse mass, the inverse slope parameter of transverse mass spectra, width of the rapidity distribution and mean multiplicity – are presented and discussed. Furthermore, the dependence of the ratio of the mean number of produced pions to the mean number of wounded nucleons on the collision energy was derived. The results are compared to predictions of several models.

Abstract: Abstract Measurements of multiplicity fluctuations of identified hadrons produced in inelastic p+p interactions at 31, 40, 80, and 158 $$\text {Ge}\text {V}/c$$ Ge / c beam momentum are presented. Three different measures of multiplicity fluctuations are used: the scaled variance $$\omega $$ ω and strongly intensive measures $$\Sigma $$ Σ and $$\Delta $$ Δ . These fluctuation measures involve second and first moments of joint multiplicity distributions. Data analysis is preformed using the Identity method which corrects for incomplete particle identification. Strongly intensive quantities are calculated in order to allow for a direct comparison to corresponding results on nucleus–nucleus collisions. The results for different hadron types are shown as a function of collision energy. A comparison with predictions of string-resonance Monte-Carlo models: Epos, Smash and Venus, is also presented.

Abstract: Abstract The NA61/SHINE experiment at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS) studies the onset of deconfinement in hadron matter by a scan of particle production in collisions of nuclei with various sizes at a set of energies covering the SPS energy range. This paper presents results on inclusive double-differential spectra, transverse momentum and rapidity distributions and mean multiplicities of $$\pi ^\pm $$ π ± , $$K^\pm $$ K ± , p and $$\bar{p}$$ p ¯ produced in the 20% most central $$^7$$ 7 Be+ $$^9$$ 9 Be collisions at beam momenta of 19A, 30A, 40A, 75A and 150A $${\mathrm{Ge} \mathrm{V}}\!/\!c$$ Ge V / c . The energy dependence of the $$K^\pm $$ K ± / $$\pi ^\pm $$ π ± ratios as well as of inverse slope parameters of the $$K^\pm $$ K ± transverse mass distributions are close to those found in inelastic p+p reactions. The new results are compared to the world data on p+p and Pb+Pb collisions as well as to predictions of the Epos, Urqmd, Ampt, Phsd and Smash models.

Abstract: Abstract A measurement of charged hadron pair correlations in two-dimensional $$\Delta \eta \Delta \phi $$ Δ η Δ ϕ space is presented. The analysis is based on total 30 million central Be + Be collisions observed in the NA61/SHINE detector at the CERN SPS for incident beam momenta of 19A, 30A, 40A, 75A, and 150A $$\text {Ge} \text {V}/c$$ Ge / c . Measurements were carried out for unlike-sign and like-sign charge hadron pairs independently. The $$C(\Delta \eta ,\Delta \phi )$$ C ( Δ η , Δ ϕ ) correlation functions were compared with results from a similar analysis on p + p interactions at similar beam momenta per nucleon. General trends of the back-to-back correlations are similar in central Be + Be collisions and p + p interactions, but are suppressed in magnitude due to the increased combinatorial background. Predictions from the Epos and UrQMD models are compared to the measurements. Evolution of an enhancement around $$(\Delta \eta ,\Delta \phi ) = (0,0)$$ ( Δ η , Δ ϕ ) = ( 0 , 0 ) with incident energy is observed in central Be + Be collisions. It is not predicted by both models and almost non-existing in proton–proton collisions at the same momentum per nucleon.

This paper presents results on inclusive double-differential spectra and mean multiplicities of $$\pi ^{-}$$ π - mesons produced in the 5% most central $$^7$$ 7 Be + $$^9$$ 9 Be collisions at beam momenta of 19A, 30A, 40A, 75A and 150 $$A\,\text{ GeV }\!/\!c$$ A GeV / c obtained by the so-called $$h^-$$ h - method which does not require any particle identification. The shape of the transverse mass spectra differs from the shapes measured in central Pb + Pb collisions and inelastic p+p interactions. The normalized width of the rapidity distribution decreases with increasing collision energy and is in between the results for inelastic nucleon–nucleon and central Pb + Pb collisions. The mean multiplicity of pions per wounded nucleon in central $$^7$$ 7 Be + $$^9$$ 9 Be collisions is close to that in central Pb + Pb collisions up to 75 $$A\,\text{ GeV }\!/\!c$$ A GeV / c . However, at the top SPS energy the result lies between those for nucleon–nucleon and Pb + Pb interactions. The results are discussed in the context of predictions for the onset of deconfinement at the CERN SPS collision energies.

Abstract: Abstract The production of $$\Xi (1321)^{-}$$ Ξ ( 1321 ) - and $$\overline{\Xi }(1321)^{+}$$ Ξ ¯ ( 1321 ) + hyperons in inelastic p+p interactions is studied in a fixed target experiment at a beam momentum of 158 $$\hbox {Ge}\hbox {V}\!/\!c$$ Ge / c . Double differential distributions in rapidity $${y}$$ y and transverse momentum $$p_{T}$$ p T are obtained from a sample of 33M inelastic events. They allow to extrapolate the spectra to full phase space and to determine the mean multiplicity of both $${\Xi }{^-} $$ Ξ - and $$\overline{\Xi }{^+} $$ Ξ ¯ + . The rapidity and transverse momentum spectra are compared to transport model predictions. The $${\Xi }{^-} $$ Ξ - mean multiplicity in inelastic p+p interactions at 158 $$\hbox {Ge}\hbox {V}\!/\!c$$ Ge / c is used to quantify the strangeness enhancement in A+A collisions at the same centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair.

Abstract: Abstract The measurement of $$K^{*}(892)^0$$ K∗(892)0 resonance production via its $$K^{+}\pi ^{-}$$ K+π- decay mode in inelastic p+p collisions at beam momentum 158 $$\text{ Ge }\text{ V }\!/\!c$$ GeV/c ($$\sqrt{s_{NN}}=17.3$$ sNN=17.3 $$\text{ Ge }\text{ V }$$ GeV ) is presented. The data were recorded by the NA61/SHINE hadron spectrometer at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron. The template method was used to extract the $$K^{*}(892)^0$$ K∗(892)0 signal and double-differential transverse momentum and rapidity spectra were obtained. The full phase-space mean multiplicity of $$K^{*}(892)^0$$ K∗(892)0 mesons was found to be $$(78.44 \pm 0.38 \mathrm {(stat)} \pm 6.0 \mathrm {(sys)) \cdot 10^{-3}}$$ (78.44±0.38(stat)±6.0(sys))·10-3 . The NA61/SHINEresults are compared with the Epos1.99 and Hadron Resonance Gas models as well as with world data from p+p and nucleus–nucleus collisions.

Abstract: Abstract Results on $$\phi $$ ϕ meson production in inelastic $$p + p$$ p+p collisions at CERN SPS energies are presented. They are derived from data collected by the NA61/SHINE fixed target experiment, by means of invariant mass spectra fits in the $$\phi \rightarrow K^+ K^- $$ ϕ→K+K- decay channel. They include the first ever measured double differential spectra of $$\phi $$ ϕ mesons as a function of rapidity $$y$$ y and transverse momentum $$p_{\text {T}}$$ pT for proton beam momenta of $$80 \, \hbox {GeV}/c$$ 80GeV/c and $$158 \, \hbox {GeV}/c$$ 158GeV/c , as well as single differential spectra of $$y$$ y or $$p_{\text {T}}$$ pT for beam momentum of $$40 \, \hbox {GeV}/c$$ 40GeV/c . The corresponding total $$\phi $$ ϕ yields per inelastic $$p + p$$ p+p event are obtained. These results are compared with existing data on $$\phi $$ ϕ meson production in $$p + p$$ p+p collisions. The comparison shows consistency but superior accuracy of the present measurements. The emission of $$\phi $$ ϕ mesons in $$p + p$$ p+p reactions is confronted with that occurring in $$\mathrm{Pb} + \mathrm{Pb}$$ Pb+Pb collisions, and the experimental results are compared with model predictions. It appears that none of the considered models can properly describe all the experimental observations.

Abstract: To date, the association of an imbalance of the intestinal microbiota with various human diseases, including both diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and disorders of the immune system, has been shown. However, despite the huge amount of accumulated data, many key questions still remain unanswered. Given limited data on the composition of the gut microbiota in patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) from different parts of Siberia, as well as the lack of data on the gut microbiota of patients with bronchial asthma (BA), the aim of the study was to assess the biodiversity of the gut microbiota of patients with IBS, UC and BA in comparison with those of healthy volunteers (HV). In this study, a comparative assessment of the biodiversity and taxonomic structure of gut microbiome was conducted based on the sequencing of 16S rRNA genes obtained from fecal samples of patients with IBS, UC, BA and volunteers. Sequences of the Firmicutes and Bacteroidetes types dominated in all samples studied. The third most common in all samples were sequences of the Proteobacteria type, which contains pathogenic and opportunistic bacteria. Sequences of the Actinobacteria type were, on average, the fourth most common. The results showed the presence of dysbiosis in the samples from patients compared to the sample from HVs. The ratio of Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes was lower in the IBS and UC samples than in HV and higher the BA samples. In the samples from patients with intestinal diseases (IBS and UC), an increase in the proportion of sequences of the Bacteroidetes type and a decrease in the proportion of sequences of the Clostridia class, as well as the Ruminococcaceae, but not Erysipelotrichaceae family, were found. The IBS, UC, and BA samples had signif icantly more Proteobacteria sequences, including Methylobacterium, Sphingomonas, Parasutterella, Halomonas, Vibrio, as well as Escherichia spp. and Shigella spp. In the gut microbiota of adults with BA, a decrease in the proportion of Roseburia, Lachnospira, Veillonella sequences was detected, but the share of Faecalibacterium and Lactobacillus sequences was the same as in healthy individuals. A signif icant increase in the proportion of Halomonas and Vibrio sequences in the gut microbiota in patients with BA has been described for the f irst time.

18. Genetic characterization of clinical Klebsiella isolates circulating in Novosibirsk

Abstract: 72 clinical strains of Klebsiella spp. isolated from samples obtained from humans in Novosibirsk, Russia, were analyzed. Species identification of strains was performed using 16S rRNA and rpoB gene sequences. It was revealed that Klebsiella pneumoniae strains were dominant in the population (57 strains), while the remaining 15 strains were K. grimontii, K. aerogenes, K. oxytoca and K. quasipneumoniae. By molecular serotyping using the wzi gene sequence, K. pneumoniae strains were assigned to twenty-one K-serotypes with a high proportion of virulent K1- and K2-serotypes. It was found that K. pneumoniae strains isolated from the hospitalized patients had a higher resistance to antibiotics compared to the other Klebsiella species. Real-time PCR revealed that the population contained genes of the blaSHV, blaTEM, blaCTX families and the blaOXA-48 gene, which are the genetic determinants of beta-lactam resistance. It has been shown that the presence of the blaCTX sequence correlated with the production of extended-spectrum beta-lactamases, and phenotypic resistance to car-bapenems is due to the presence of the blaOXA-48 gene. At the same time, the carbapenemase genes vim, ndm, kpc, imp were not detected. Among the aminoglycoside resistance genes studied, the aph(6)-Id and aadA genes were found, but their presence did not always coincide with phenotypic resistance. Resistance to fluoroquinolones in the vast majority of strains was accompanied by the presence of the aac(6’)-IB-cr, oqxA, oqxB, qnrB, and qnrS genes in various combinations, while the presence of the oqxA and/or oqxB genes alone did not correlate with resistance to fluoroquinolones. Thus, the detection of blaCTX and blaOXA-48 can be used to quickly predict the production of extended-spectrum beta-lactamases and to determine the resistance of Klebsiella to carbapenems. The detection of the aac(6’)-Ib-cr and/or qnrB/qnrS genes can be used to quickly determine resistance to fluoroquinolones.

Abstract: Objectives. Determination of target products and byproducts is necessary for the quality control of phthalonitrile monomer synthesis as well as production scaling and performing related kinetic studies. High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is a simple and affordable method for quantitative chemical analysis, which also verifies the quality of raw materials. The objective of this study was to develop an HPLC technique for determining the composition of the reaction mixture in the synthesis of 1,3-bis(3,4-dicyanophenoxy)benzene (DPB).Methods. Reversed-phase HPLC was used to quantitatively analyze the reaction mixture.Results. A simple and rapid method for the quantitative HPLC analysis of phthalonitrile monomers and their mixtures with reagents was developed. Reaction times and the accumulation of byproducts were also studied.Conclusions. The successful performance of the developed technique allows us to recommend it for practical applications. The results obtained for reactors of different sizes have good convergence, and DPB synthesis was successfully scaled up to intermediate scale equipment.

Abstract: A novel polyaniline-modified CNT and graphene-based nanocomposite (2.32–7.34 nm) was prepared and characterized by spectroscopic methods. The specific surface area was 176 m2/g with 0.232 cm3/g as the specific pore volume. The nanocomposite was used to remove zinc and lead metal ions from water; showing a high removal capacity of 346 and 581 mg/g at pH 6.5. The data followed pseudo-second-order, intraparticle diffusion and Elovich models. Besides this, the experimental values obeyed Langmuir and Temkin isotherms. The results confirmed that the removal of lead and zinc ions occurred in a mixed mode, that is, diffusion absorption and ion exchange between the heterogeneous surface of the sorbent containing active adsorption centers and the solution containing metal ions. The enthalpy values were 149.9 and 158.6 J.mol−1K−1 for zinc and lead metal ions. The negative values of free energies were in the range of −4.97 to −26.3 kJ/mol. These values indicated an endothermic spontaneous removal of metal ions from water. The reported method is useful to remove the zinc and lead metal ions in any water body due to the high removal capacity of nanocomposite at natural pH of 6.5. Moreover, a low dose of 0.005 g per 30 mL made this method economical. Furthermore, a low contact time of 15 min made this method applicable to the removal of the reported metal ions from water in a short time. Briefly, the reported method is highly economical, nature-friendly and fast and can be used to remove the reported metal ions from any water resource.

Abstract: Purpose: the purpose of this article is to form a holistic methodology of digital platform strategizing, based on the methods, rules and postulates of strategic management of complex economic systems using different types of platforms in order to increase the digital potential.Methods: the authors used general scientific methods – the method of synthesis, generalization, content analysis, graphical interpretation of data. During the study, we used a six-step method, as well as the standardized methodology of the independent systematic review of the literature on the basis of the eight-step manual.Results: the author's vision of the methodology of strategic management of the digital potential of economic systems as a multi-level cognitive continuum, which allows to describe the full range of theoretical and practical perspectives of the application of methods, rules and postulates of management of the digital potential of economic systems, has been developed. Six architectural levels of the methodology of strategic management of the digital potential of economic systems are identified. Each architectural level is represented by a set of corresponding patterns: the gnoseological level is based on digital philosophy and digital thinking; the paradigmatic level is represented by the coevolution of three approaches and conceptual domain of digital platform strategizing; the ontological level is represented by the terminological apparatus; the semantic level is represented by the framework of digital platform strategizing and the platform concept; the technological level is represented by strategies of economic systems transformation into bionic, business models of digital strategy and digital behavior patterns; the applied level is represented by the methods for assessing the digital maturity and digital gaps of industrial systems.Conclusions and Relevance: the digital development of complex economic systems entails their transformation into bionic and inverted organizations based on an interdisciplinary platform concept, digital strategizing, digital philosophy, digital thinking, digital technologies and Industry 5.0 solutions, driven by the need to increase digital maturity, develop digital capabilities to maintain existing and/or create additional long-term competitive advantages.

Abstract: Purpose: the main purpose of this article is to develop a methodology for assessing the digital maturity gaps of industrial enterprises in order to adapt to the digital environment, to take advantage of digital technologies to improve operations and increase competitiveness.Methods: the authors applied general scientific methods (method of synthesis, generalization, content analysis, graphical interpretation of data). In assessing the levels of digital maturity gaps, correlated with the levels of digital maturity, the scaling method was used.Results: the global metamorphoses actualizing the problem of achieving digital maturity by industrial enterprises are described. The concepts of maturity, digital maturity, and digital maturity gaps of industrial enterprises in different sources are investigated. Digital maturity gaps are shown from two perspectives: as the difference between the current and target maturity levels of industrial enterprises; as the gap between awareness and implementation of Industry X.0 solutions in industrial enterprises. The landscape of digital maturity assessment methodologies at different levels is systematized: federal, regional and grassroots level of the economy. The problem and research gap of digital maturity assessment is identified, which is the lack of methodologies for assessing digital gaps. The author proposed a methodology for assessing the digital maturity gaps of industrial enterprises, which includes fourteen stages. The methodology was tested using data from twenty industrial enterprises that are leaders in digitalization in 2021. Visualization of digital maturity indicators and digital maturity gaps was carried out.Сonclusions and Relevance: as a result of testing the methodology for assessing the digital maturity gaps of industrial enterprises, it is concluded that the current state of development of the national industrial ecosystem is characterized by significant heterogeneity in the development of individual industries, unequal development of markets and enterprises. In order to successfully complete the digital transformation and increase the level of digital maturity to the maximum, it is recommended that industrial enterprises integrate digital platform solutions and digital behaviors based on the concept of digital strategizing into their operating model.

Abstract: A drug for the prevention and therapy of tick-borne encephalitis virus is being developed on the basis of the protective chimeric antibody ch14D5a. At the same time, the epitope recognized by this antibody on the surface of glycoprotein E has not been localized yet. The aim of this work was to identify the domain of glycoprotein E, to which the protective antibody ch14D5a binds. As a result, four recombinant variants of glycoprotein E were generated using the bacterial expression system: (1) the rE protein containing the domains D1, D2, and D3 of glycoprotein E; (2) the rED1+2 protein containing domains D1 and D2; (3) the rED3_301 protein, which is domain D3 of glycoprotein E, and (4) the rED3_294 protein comprising domain D3 and a hinge region connecting domains D1 and D3. The rED3_294 and rED3_301 proteins were obtained in soluble monomeric form. The rE and rED1+2 proteins were extracted from the inclusion bodies of Escherichia coli. Using Western blot analysis and surface plasmon resonance analysis, it was demonstrated that the protective chimeric antibody ch14D5a and its Fab fragment bound specifically to domain D3 of glycoprotein E. Since the antibodies recognizing epitopes on the surface of domain D3 do not tend to cause antibody-dependent enhancement of the infection as compared to antibodies directed to domains D1 and D2, the data obtained confirm the promise of using the antibody ch14D5a in the development of a therapeutic preparation against the tick-borne encephalitis virus.

Abstract: Fullyhuman antibodies have a great therapeutic importance; however, the development of stable strains providing a high level of production of fullsize antibodies is a challenging task, as antibody molecules contain two types of polypeptide chains. To develop the producing strain, random integration of the plasmid containing the gene encoding the target protein into the genome of the host cells is commonly used. The aim of this study was the development of an original expression system, using gene targeting to integrate the gene encoding the fullyhuman antibody into the transcriptionally active region of the genome of eukaryotic suspension cells CHOS. To develop a stable strain, the cassette vector plasmid pCDNA5/FRTDHFRCHCL containing the site of homologous recombination and the genes encoding heavy and light chains of the fully human antibody of the IgG1/kappa class was constructed at the first step. Notably, DNA of the plasmid pCDNA5/FRTDHFRCHCL was organized in such a way that the restriction sites for rapid cloning of DNA fragments encoding the variable domains of heavy and light chains were inserted upstream of the sequences encoding constant domains of the heavy and light chains of the antibody. Secondly, DNA fragments encoding the variable domains of the heavy and light chains of antibody against orthopoxvirus protein p35 were inserted into the pCDNA5/FRTDHFRCHCL cassette plasmid. Then, CHOS/FRT cells, which contain the FRTsite for homologous recombination and are able to produce green fluorescence protein GFP, were transfected with the constructed plasmid. After the insertion of the target genes into the FRTsite, GFP production was supposed to stop. Using this selection system, a stable clone producing target antibody fh8E was selected with the level of production of about 100 μg/ml. The binding affinity of purified antibody fh8E with the targeted protein, measured by surface plasmon resonance, was 12 nM. In addition, antibody fh8E demonstrated antivaccinia virus activity in the plaque reduction neutralization test in vitro.

Abstract: Improving the energy density of Li-ion batteries is critical to meet the requirements of electric vehicles and energy storage systems. In this work, LiFePO4 active material was combined with single-walled carbon nanotubes as the conductive additive to develop high-energy-density cathodes for rechargeable Li-ion batteries. The effect of the morphology of the active material particles on the cathodes’ electrochemical characteristics was investigated. Although providing higher packing density of electrodes, spherical LiFePO4 microparticles had poorer contact with an aluminum current collector and showed lower rate capability than plate-shaped LiFePO4 nanoparticles. A carbon-coated current collector helped enhance the interfacial contact with spherical LiFePO4 particles and was instrumental in combining high electrode packing density (1.8 g cm−3) with excellent rate capability (100 mAh g−1 at 10C). The weight percentages of carbon nanotubes and polyvinylidene fluoride binder in the electrodes were optimized for electrical conductivity, rate capability, adhesion strength, and cyclic stability. The electrodes that were formulated with 0.25 wt.% of carbon nanotubes and 1.75 wt.% of the binder demonstrated the best overall performance. The optimized electrode composition was used to formulate thick free-standing electrodes with high energy and power densities, achieving the areal capacity of 5.9 mAh cm−2 at 1C rate.

Abstract: Kemerovo virus (KEMV), a member of Reoviridae family, Orbivirus genus, is transmitted by ixodes ticks and can cause the damage of human central nervous system. The occurrence and genetic diversity of KEMV in Western Siberia still remained poorly studied, so, the aim of this work was to investigate the prevalence and genetic variability of KEMV in ixodid ticks from Western Siberia. A total of 1958 Ixodes persulcatus, I. pavlovskyi ticks and their hybrids from Novosibirsk and Omsk provinces, Altai Republic (Russia) and East Kazakhstan province (Kazakhstan) were analyzed for the presence of KEMV and tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBEV) RNA. It was shown that KEMV distribution area in Western Siberia was wider and included Northern and Northeastern Altai in addition to Omsk and Novosibirsk provinces. For the first time this virus was found in Kazakhstan. The occurrence of KEMV was statistically lower than TBEV in most locations in Western Siberia. KEMV was found both in I. persulcatus and I. pavlovskyi ticks and in their hybrids. Notably, KEMV variants found in 2010s genetically differ from those isolated in 1960s. Moreover, the possibility of reassortment for KEMV was demonstrated for the first time.

Abstract: At present in Europe and Russia there are active discussions of the next mega stage of human social and economic development. It concerns the Industry 5.0 concept. In 2020–2021 members of scientific research and technological organizations discussed the aspects of Industry 5.0 at a number of well-known European and Russian forums. Major attention was paid to technologies maintaining Industry 5.0. As a result the world scientific community reached a consensus on two fronts: firstly, on integration of opportunities of the existing technologies of Industry 4.0 with the human-oriented approach of Industry 5.0 which will give way to harmonious interaction of human intelligence with cognitive calculations; and, secondly, on integration of human and machine intelligence to create collective intelligence which will make it possible to avoid technological singularity in future as well as provide for simultaneous humans’ evolution and technologies’ development. These will become the basis for creating a fundamentally new social, economic and cultural strategy of the society’s development for the coming decades. The strategy is based on applying collective intelligence and meta-system technologies in all spheres of life. For the first time in the world scientific practice the authors introduce the concept of Industry 5.0 as a cyber social system which allows the alliance of human and artificial intelligence aimed at creating collective super intelligence and becomes a source of harmonious technological development of human civilization. The authors present a neuro-ecosystem model of Industry 5.0 concept which will make it possible to set the task of implementing the systems of global meta-system strategized development of cognitive production and industry. Such systems are established as part of organization of cognitive production and new types of social and economic, cyber-social and industrial ecosystems by means of implementing collective intelligence and neuro-digital meta-technologies. This is the first stage of a new evolution process of developing Industry 4.0 concept, transition to Industry 5.0 and to meta-system transformations economics.

This study uses general scientific methods (synthesis, generalization, content analysis, graphical data interpretation), economic and statistical methods (correlation and regression analysis, mathematical statistics, expert methods, principal components analysis, hierarchical agglomerative clustering). As part of a study of economic sectors and digital technologies, the market structure is analyzed, and the dynamics of development indicators of digitalization processes is described.Results. The landscape of modern ecosystem research, types and properties of ecosystems, the composition of actors and exchange resources by ecosystem type are systematized, the concept of ecosystem entity is developed, and the specific features of industrial ecosystem management are determined. A structural model for industrial ecosystem management is developed. Four strategies for the industrial ecosystem orchestrator are recommended: increasing value, building trust, activating industrial ecology, institutionalization.Conclusions. In the context of digital transformation, it is advisable to implement strategic management of industrial ecosystems based on the platform concept. The results of managing an industrial ecosystem with the orchestrator function include enhancing the maturity and integration potential of synergetic interaction in the ecosystem, maintaining a high level of coherence (consistency) between actors at different hierarchical levels, creating long-term value and improving the quality of life.

The rigid molecular linear structure of the new hardener suggests that it will provide the polymer matrix with the necessary physical and mechanical characteristics. It also allows the expectation that cured matrix based on this hardener can provide increased toughness. New hardener was used as a curing agent for three epoxy resins—tetraglycidyl methylenedianiline (TGDMA, 111–117 EEW), diglycidylether of bisphenol A (DGEBA, 170-192 EEW) and solid epoxy resin (SER)—with a medium molecular weight (860–930 EEW) based on DGEBA. The mixtures were found to have the highest Tg for the DGEBA resin, and high of that for TGDMA and SER. According to the DMA analysis for two cured matrices, the hardener proved to be no worse than the standard ones, and made it possible to obtain cured matrices with excellent mechanical properties, which allows us to hope for further application of new hardener cured epoxy matrices in appropriate composite materials at high temperatures.

Abstract: The regulatory region of the Escherichia coli yfiA gene was reconstructed by using the SiteCon web resource and mathematical modeling, and its expression complexity under oxidative stress was assessed. Simulation of the response of E. coli cells transformed with pYfi-gfp plasmid to oxidative stress indicated that the maximum agreement with experimental data was achieved in a model implying a complex action, apparently mediated by several transcription factors (TFs). The regulatory region of the yfiA gene was searched for potential TF binding sites, and highly reliable recognition was predicted for TFs MarA, IscR, MetJ, PurR, and SoxS, which directly or indirectly participate in the response of the gene to oxidative stress, and for CRP, a global regulator of carbohydrate catabolism. The presence of binding sites for CRP, MarA, and SoxS in the E. coli yfiA promoter was confirmed by electrophoretic mobility shift assay with purified recombinant TFs. This fact explains the sensitivity of yfiA to mitomycin and radical-forming agents.

Abstract: The incidence of Ixodes tick-borne borreliosis (ITBB) at the Island Russky (Primorsk Territory) is higher than at the mainland. There is a bidominant structure of the tick population with mass occurrence of Ixodes persulcatus and I. pavlovskyi at the island. Due to the higher infectivity and aggressiveness of I. persulcatus, it is suggested that it plays a key role in high activity of the ITBB focus at the island.The aim of the study: to characterize the role of I. pavlovskyi in the borreliosis epizootic process based on the study of the structure of the borrelia genotype complex isolated from Ixodes ticks at the Island Russky.Materials and methods. The ticks were collected from vegetation at three sites. Ixodide species were determined morphologically and using PCR for mitochondrial gene cox1 and nuclear multicopy locus ITS2. Infection of 233 ticks was analyzed with the species identification confirmed by all methods. Borrelia genospecies were determined by multiplex two-round PCR with the primers specific to the gene fragments 5S and 23S rRNA of Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato complex.Results and discussion. Coexistence of I. persulcatus and I. pavlovskyi at the island was confirmed, with different ratios in space and a gradual increase in the proportion of the latter species. The circulation of three etiological agents of ITBB: Borrelia garinii (predominantly in I. pavlovskyi), B. bavariensis and B. afzelii (in I. persulcatus) was identified. Thus, an active natural focus of ITBB has formed at the island, probably including two uninsulated chains of borrelia circulation. One chain combines I. persulcatus and small and large mammals as the tick feeders. The second – I. pavlovskyi that can feed on mammals and birds. Due to the spatial variability of the ixodide population structure at different sections of the island, the ratio of the circulating borrelia species can change, and this species becomes the main vector of the pathogenic agents in areas of I. pavlovskyi absolute dominance.

Abstract: Objectives. Determination of target products and byproducts is necessary for the quality control of phthalonitrile monomer synthesis as well as production scaling and performing related kinetic studies. High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is a simple and affordable method for quantitative chemical analysis, which also verifies the quality of raw materials. The objective of this study was to develop an HPLC technique for determining the composition of the reaction mixture in the synthesis of 1,3-bis(3,4-dicyanophenoxy)benzene (DPB).Methods. Reversed-phase HPLC was used to quantitatively analyze the reaction mixture.Results. A simple and rapid method for the quantitative HPLC analysis of phthalonitrile monomers and their mixtures with reagents was developed. Reaction times and the accumulation of byproducts were also studied.Conclusions. The successful performance of the developed technique allows us to recommend it for practical applications. The results obtained for reactors of different sizes have good convergence, and DPB synthesis was successfully scaled up to intermediate scale equipment.

The process of using the definitions of “cluster” and “industrial cluster” in science is analyzed, the concept of a systemically important innovation-active industrial cluster is formulated, and its essence is determined. The stages and methods of assessing the digital potential of a systemically important innovation-active industrial cluster are developed, which are universal and can be used for different types of clusters, including regional, innovative, and industrial clusters. Conclusions . The study develops the stages, methods, and methodology for assessing the digital potential of a systemically important innovation-active industrial cluster in the digital economy, which can facilitate the improvement of the scientific and methodological apparatus of cluster development.

Abstract: Aim. The presented study aims to identify stages and propose an algorithm for assessing the intellectual capital of an innovative industrial cluster.Tasks. The authors classify the types of intellectual capital of an innovative industrial cluster; propose the structure of the intellectual capital of an innovative industrial cluster; develop the stages for assessing the intellectual capital of an innovative industrial cluster and an algorithm for assessing the intellectual capital of an innovative industrial cluster.Methods. This study uses a combination of general scientific and natural scientific methods of cognition: observation, generalization, abstraction, and the graphical approach. These methods are used to consistently solve the tasks of the study.Results. During the analysis of the types of intellectual capital of innovative industrial clusters, the authors classify them according to three criteria: carrier, involvement in the processes of the innovative industrial cluster, and the type of existence. The proposed classification allows the authors to develop the structure of intellectual capital of an innovative industrial cluster, which is presented in the form of four levels characterized by compressibility. The authors develop and describe the stages of assessing the intellectual capital of an innovative industrial cluster and propose an algorithm for its assessment consisting of three stages: preparatory, main, and final.Conclusions. The study describes stages and an algorithm for assessing the intellectual capital of an innovative industrial cluster, which can be used to manage intellectual capital in order to increase its value and develop an innovative industrial cluster.
