Numerical modeling for the purpose of receiving the temperature field of cooled rotor blades and its improvement is an integral process of modern design of gas turbine engines since the issue of cooling at gas temperature at the combustion chamber outlet over 1800-2000 K is becoming one of the key ones. To ensure the specified parameters of turbine operation during its design, it is necessary to obtain reliable calculation data. The article presents an algorithm for forming a calculation model to determine the thermal state of the working blade of a high-temperature high-pressure gas turbine in the Ansys program. The process of preparation of geometric and grid models is described, the boundary conditions used to set up the project in Ansys CFX Pre are given. A method for determining the cooling efficiency factor using Ansys CFX Post is also presented. The distributions of the temperature field and the coefficient of cooling efficiency over the surfaces of the blade to be cooled are obtained. Integral values of the coefficient of cooling efficiency for the designed blade at various cooling air flow rates were compared with statistical data. On the basis of the comparison a conclusion was made that the working blade considered in the work corresponds to the modern level of cooling efficiency.

The article describes the method developed by the authors to coordinate the working process of the auxiliary power plant (APP) and the starter air turbine (SAT) used for starting a gas turbine engine (GTD). This method is used to test the possibility of joint operation of the APP and the air turbine in the gas turbine engine starting system in given operating modes. The method is based on combining the APP and turbine characteristics shown in the same coordinates on the same field and checking for intersection points. The condition of joint operation is fulfilled in them. Non-crossing graphs indicate the impossibility of joint work in the selected operating mode. The developed method takes into account losses and leaks in the engine starting system pipes. The data obtained using the developed method are source data for calculating and optimizing the air turbine's working process and for determining the time required to start the GTE, as well as for testing the operability of the GTE system by strength and other criteria. An algorithm for calculating the time required to start the GTE was also developed by the authors and implemented as a computer program. The obtained data can be used to analyze the possibility of starting the engine and to calculate its main parameters for specific elements of the engine starting system, to select the APP and SAT to meet the specifications.

This article describes a method of CFD-modeling of a two-stage high-pressure pump. The main feature of the pump is the hydraulic drive of the low-pressure stage that takes energy from a high-pressure flow. The speed of the turbine is determined by the power balance of a low-pressure rotor. The modeling technique presented in this paper includes two major advantages over previous studies. The first feature is the determination of the speed of rotational velocity during the CFD-calculation by a special methodology. The second feature is cavitation simulation to assess its impact on the pre-pump workflow at a relatively low inlet pressure. Recommendations for the use of software (ANSYS CFX, NUMECA AutoGrid5, ANSYS ICEM CFD) are an important part of the simulation technology described. These recommendations concern the choice of the modeling area, mesh generation, choice of turbulence models, verification of convergence, post-processing of the results. The adequacy of the CFD-model was evaluated by comparing the calculated and experimental performance obtained on a test rig. The use of the resulting methodology of pump simulation improves the productivity and increases the efficiency of pumps with a hydro-drive of the low-pressure stage.

The article describes a method of simulating combustion processes in a low-thrust rocket engine. The engine operates on gaseous propellants: oxygen and hydrogen. Transient simulation was performed using ANSYS CFX software. Three well-known mechanisms of oxygen and hydrogen combustion reactions for the stationary mode are considered and described in detail. A method of converting data on gas properties specified by coefficients of state equations into the NASA format was developed as one of the results of research. It was found that the initial component composition can be obtained fast by stationary simulation using an EDM combustion model. The difficulties connected with the application of the FRC combustion model, associated with a large scatter of reference data are revealed and described. A way of generation of a Flamelet-library with an ANSYS CFX integrated CFX-RIF generator is described. A method of simulation of transient combustion processes in a low-thrust rocket engine based on the Flamelet-library is proposed. Cyclical motion of the temperature field in the chamber resembling the precession of a vortex flow core was detected in the course of testing the method. The proposed method can be used to study this process and other transient processes in rocket engines.

Kuzbass State Pedagogical Academy (KuzSPA) has long been the only higher education institution in the Kemerovo region, which trained Sports teaching staff. In 2013 the Ministry of Education decided to reorganize KuzSPA by merging it with Kemerovo State University. That brings the end toa whole epoch connected with the activity of KuzSPA as an independent educational institution in Sports education in the Kemerovo region. This event determined the purpose of our study – to assess the contribution of KuzSPA in training teachers for the needs of sports industry of the Kemerovo region. The research focuses on features of formation and development of higher education in Sports in KuzSPA.The principles of historicism and objectivity constitute themethodological basis of the research. The principle of historicism is applied to analyze the historical reality of teachers’trining in Kuzbass in 1970s – 2010s, describe the development of the Faculty of Physical Culture (FFC) in KuzSPA and evaluatethe results it has achieved. The principle ofscientific objectivity helped reveal the objective trends ofKuzSPA FFC development in teachers’ education in Kuzbass.The study found out that KuzSPA made a substantial contribution to training teachers for the needs of sports industry in the Kemerovo region.The data presented in this paper may be used in lectures on "History of Physical Culture and Sports", "General Pedagogics and History of Education", "Kuzbass history" at higher education institutions of Sports and Teaching profiles.

The article discusses various ways and means of optimization of schoolchildren’s motor activity in the system of continuous physical education. A considerable experience of effective health-saving approaches implementation in physical education is shown to have been accumulated in Kuzbass educational establishments. Despite the variety of organizational forms and means of motor behaviour optimization, it is necessary to ensure conformity of the level and nature of the motor activity with age, sex, typological and individual characteristics of the developing organism, its functional capabilities and the state of health.
