Abstract Among the peripheral instabilities observed at the Globus-M2 tokamak, two types of edge localized modes (ELMs) are brought into focus: ELMs synchronized and desynchronized with the sawtooth oscillations. The desynchronized ELMs appear in regimes that are characterized by high values of pressure in the pedestal, pped ≥ 3 kPa, and they are observed in discharges with the toroidal magnetic field BT > 0.6 T and plasma current IP > 0.3 MA. The desynchronized ELMs belong to the type-III/V with the dominating effect of the peeling mode. The synchronized ELMs were observed in a wider range of discharge parameters, including at BT < 0.6 T and IP < 0.3 MA. Calculations of the stability of the peeling-ballooning (PB) mode showed that at pedestal width ψnorm = 0.09 and pped > 3.5 kPa, destabilization of PB modes is possible without additional influence. Experimental data shows that the microtearing mode plays a dominant role in the pedestal. The microtearing mode does not allow the pedestal at Globus-M2 tokamak to reach the state of the unstable kinetic ballooning mode (KBM), which explains the low predictive power of the EPED model at this tokamak.

Abstract NBI-assisted plasma heating with one or two injectors of fast neutral atoms was studied at the Globus-M2 spherical tokamak at the toroidal magnetic fields of 0.8–0.9 T and plasma currents of 0.35–0.4 MA. Measurements of the spatial temperature and electron density distributions, performed using the Thomson scattering diagnostics, showed a twofold increase in heating of plasma electrons during the injection of neutral particles with energies of up to 45 keV at the beam power of 0.75 MW, as compared to the ohmic heating regime. Switching on the second additional beam with the particle energy of up to 30 keV and power of up to 0.5 MW resulted in obtaining the hot ion mode in the range of mean plasma densities of (1.6–10) × 1019 m−3. According to the data of active spectroscopy and neutral particle analyzer diagnostics, in the hot zone, the ion temperature reached 4 keV at the plasma density of 8 × 1019 m−3, which is more than 2.5 times higher than the electron temperature.

The article describes one of the methods of enhancing oil recovery, the experience of its application, including global, and the design of the development (using 3D reservoir simulation) with the arrangement of the pilot area, taking into account the peculiarities of the method.

The features of laser drilling of highly porous composite ceramics consisting of aluminosilicate, glass, and a small addition of polystyrene (EPS) were studied experimentally. It was found that the formation of a liquid phase can contribute to the strengthening of ceramics. A list of factors determining the dynamics of hole formation is proposed. These include not only heating, melting, ablation, and ejection, previously known for metals and dense ceramics, but also a number of others: boiling-up of the mixture component with the lowest temperature of thermal decomposition and its departure from the affected zone; melt of less volatile components; compaction of ceramic adjoining the walls; glass transition of the liquid phase on cooling after irradiation. These effects depend on the density of the composite as well as on the viscosity of the liquefied material.

The article presents the results of studying the transfer of heat and particles in the Globus-M2 spherical tokamak in discharges with neutral injection at the current ramp up. An atomic beam was injected into the tokamak plasma at a fixed toroidal magnetic field of 0.7 T. The plasma current on the plateau was varied in the range 0.2–0.3 MA. Based on the electron temperature and concentration spatial distributions measured by the Thomson scattering method, the transport of heat and particles in plasma was simulated using the ASTRA code. The energy confinement time of the plasma was determined, as well as estimates of the coefficients of thermal diffusivity and diffusion was made.

On the spherical tokamak Globus-M2 in discharges with toroidal magnetic field of 0.7 T by means of magnetic probes and a number of other diagnostics during neutral beam injection at the current ramp up stage, magnetic field oscillations in the range of 100–300 kHz having their frequency increasing in time, had been observed. Eigenmodes with wavenumbers n = 1–3 and m = 2–4 were being registered. These oscillations were identified as Alfven cascades. By means of multi-channel fluctuation reflectometer, observed eigenmodes were found to be localized near the magnetic shear reversal radius. Application of MHD-spectroscopy technique allowed us to determine safety factor temporal evolution and experimental values are in well agreement with modelling results, provided by ASTRA transport code.

Cross-linked polymeric and nanocomposite films based on poly(2-ethyl-2-oxazoline) and modified mineral nanoparticles of hydroxyapatite and silica have been obtained via radical cross- linking initiated by peroxide containing reactive copolymers. The influence of temperature and additional cross-linking agents on the peculiarities of curing process has been studied. The obtained results reveal that at high temperatures the dependence of film gel-fraction values on time has the extremal character. Obtained cross-linked nanocomposite films are characterized by improved physico-mechanical properties that depend on the nature of mineral nanoparticles, content of peroxide containing copolymer and on the presence of additional cross-linking agent.

Studies were conducted to determine the effectiveness of the use of various doses of pharmaceutical substances based on the extract of a medicinal plant thyme on the quality indicators of broiler meat. The work was done in a broiler farm. Formed control and 5 experimental groups of day-old broiler chickens with 37 heads in each group. Chickens of the control group were fed the basic ration, broilers of the experimental groups additionally received a pharmaceutical substance obtained from the medicinal plant thyme in various doses: the 1–2 mg / kg, 2–4, the 3–6, 4–8, 5–10 mg / kg body weight daily. At the end of poultry rearing, the slaughter qualities of carcasses, the development of internal organs and the chemical composition of the pectoral muscle are determined. At the end of the study, the positive effect of thyme extract on the indicators of anatomical cutting of broiler chickens was established. In the 3th, 4th and 5th experimental groups, significant differences were found compared with the control group. Thyme extract did not have a negative impact on the development of the internal organs of broiler chickens. There are no significant differences in chemical composition and the amount of essential amino acids in the pectoral muscles of broilers.

Globus-M2—a new 1-Tesla spherical tokamak—was recently launched. The main features and research directions of this machine in scope of fusion–fission reactor development are described. Main results of the first experimental campaign with toroidal magnetic field up to 0.73 T and plasma current up to 0.33 MA are discussed. Significant improvement of the discharge parameters as compared to Globus-M was achieved. Plasma total stored energy higher than 7 kJ was obtained. Energy confinement time increase was consistent with predictions by spherical tokamak scalings. Toroidal Alfven eigenmode-induced losses decrease with increase of plasma current and toroidal magnetic field. For the first time, LHCD with the toroidal wave slowing-down was successfully used at a spherical tokamak.

A method of plasma boundary location based on last closed magnetic surface position detection as a maximum of electrostatic potential measured using Langmuir probes is presented. It is demonstrated that the method can be used for an absolute calibration of magnetic diagnostics of plasma position (TUMAN-3M) and as an independent diagnostic tool (Globus-M).

Problems in planning and implementation of the operating conditions for district heating systems (DHSs) are directly related to the controllability and permissibility of the conditions and the reliability, quality, and efficiency of the heat supply systems’ operation under various operating conditions. The operating conditions’ development should be aimed at minimizing operating costs related to implementing the operational modes taking into account the entire set of technical and technological restrictions. The decisive factor in implementing competent adjustment and planning DHS operating conditions is the performance of preliminary calculations directly by the operators. In this case, the condition-development engineer receives a computer model of the operating DHS at his disposal that allows justifying and conducting constant correction of the thermo-hydraulic conditions during the entire heating season under changing operational conditions. For example, when connecting new consumers, varying loads, and under forced changeovers caused by emergencies, they can calculate the postemergency modes and correct the control values when the operating variables exceed the permissible values. At the Institute for Energy Systems (Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences), a system of mathematical models and methods has been developed for calculating and analyzing the thermo-hydraulic conditions at DHSs. This system was implemented in the Angara-TS information–software package (ISP). The ISP an is integration of models, methods, and software with information technologies intended for automation of workplaces for condition-development engineers. Technology for developing operating conditions for large-scale DHSs that satisfy all technical restrictions, including the required heat supply level, is presented. The technology based on multilevel modeling has been verified when implementing the operating conditions of real DHSs in Irkutsk, Angarsk, Bratsk, Baykalsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and other cities. This article deals with the development of the operating conditions for the DHS of Cheremkhovo, a town in Irkutsk oblast, to supply heat power from a combined heat and power plant according to a new temperature schedule. Practical application of the technology developed for planning the real DHS operating conditions has revealed its great potential for energy saving and has significantly improved the quality of the heat supply. The operating conditions and adjustment measures developed using the Angara-TS information–software package allowed for a significant reduction in the circulating heating-medium flow rates, the consumption rate of the make-up water, the water drain by consumers, the energy consumed for transfer of the heating medium, and the cost of chemical water preparation and has ensured the required level of heat supply.

The results of experiments and simulations of the transport of heat and particles in the Globus-M spherical tokamak are presented. Investigations were carried out in the ohmic mode in hydrogen and deuterium plasma. It is shown that in the phase of current growth under the same initial conditions, as long as the condition is met at which the minimum of the safety factor exceeds unity, two scenarios of discharge development are possible: with an electron temperature dive or with an electron density peak. After the safety factor reaches the value of 1, the differences are no longer observed. Modeling of transport processes using the ASTRA code showed that the dive of the electron temperature and density is a consequence of the decrease in the transport of heat and particles in the plasma core (i.e., the presence of internal transport barriers).

The results of work on creation of an original formalized method for estimation of the economic efficiency of the know-how for selection of the directions for the state investments from the balance models under uncertainty were compactly presented.

Considerable uncertainty of the information about actual characteristics and parameters is the key factor restricting the effective use of mathematical modeling and computer simulation methods in solving problems of optimal retrofitting, commissioning, development of operating regimes, and dispatch control of heat networks. Application of the existing industrial procedures in testing a heat network for hydraulic and heat losses does not make the issue less urgent, because of the fact that the test conditions have not been properly standardized as yet and no guarantee is provided for the completeness and accuracy of the obtained results. The employment of the available methods of parametric identification during passive monitoring of heat networks during their normal operation does not ensure that the required solution will be obtained due to insufficient number of measurement points and a narrow range where the operating conditions can be varied. The paper presents a unique formalization of the problems of testing heat networks for hydraulic and heat losses as problems of active identification assuming optimal planning and processing of the test results with the use of a mathematical model of steady-state thermohydraulic regimes. A description of the model, a substantiation of selection of test optimality criteria, mathematical formulations of problems for optimal planning of test conditions and optimal location of instruments, and test result processing procedures are presented. The proposed procedure is in a step-wise test strategy giving maximum information with a minimal risk that too many tests will be performed. It is applicable for testing various types of heat networks having any structure or configuration. The potential efficiency of simultaneous performance of thermal and hydraulic testing of a heat network is demonstrated for the first time theoretically and by an example. It manifests itself in minimizing the total number of experiments required for reaching the prespecified accuracy in determining the actual characteristics of heat networks and of the model predictions.

The heat supply systems of cities have, as a rule, a ring structure with the possibility of redistributing the flows. Despite the fact that a ring structure is more reliable than a radial one, the operators of heat networks prefer to use them in normal modes according to the scheme without overflows of the heat carrier between the heat mains. With such a scheme, it is easier to adjust the networks and to detect and locate faults in them. The article proposes a formulation of the heat network segmenting problem. The problem is set in terms of optimization with the heat supply system’s excessive hydraulic power used as the optimization criterion. The heat supply system computer model has a hierarchically interconnected multilevel structure. Since iterative calculations are only carried out for the level of trunk heat networks, decomposing the entire system into levels allows the dimensionality of the solved subproblems to be reduced by an order of magnitude. An attempt to solve the problem by fully enumerating possible segmentation versions does not seem to be feasible for systems of really existing sizes. The article suggests a procedure for searching rational segmentation of heat supply networks with limiting the search to versions of dividing the system into segments near the flow convergence nodes with subsequent refining of the solution. The refinement is performed in two stages according to the total excess hydraulic power criterion. At the first stage, the loads are redistributed among the sources. After that, the heat networks are divided into independent fragments, and the possibility of increasing the excess hydraulic power in the obtained fragments is checked by shifting the division places inside a fragment. The proposed procedure has been approbated taking as an example a municipal heat supply system involving six heat mains fed from a common source, 24 loops within the feeding mains plane, and more than 5000 consumers. Application of the proposed segmentation procedure made it possible to find a version with required hydraulic power in the heat supply system on 3% less than the one found using the simultaneous segmentation method.

The work presents the results of the energy confinement study carried out on the compact spherical tokamak Globus-M2 with a toroidal magnetic field as high as 0.8 T. A reproducible and stable discharge was obtained with the average plasma density (5–10) × 1019 m−3. Despite the increase in the magnetic field, the neutral beam injection (NBI) led to clear and reproducible transition to the H-mode accompanied by a decrease in the turbulence level at the plasma edge. NBI allowed effectively heat the plasma: electron and ion temperatures in the plasma core exceeded 1 keV. Compared to the previous experiments carried out with a toroidal magnetic field as high as 0.4 T plasma total stored energy was increased by a factor of 4. The main reason or this phenomenon is a strong dependence of the energy confinement time on the toroidal magnetic field in the spherical tokamak. It was experimentally confirmed that such kind of dependence is valid for ST with magnetic field up to 0.8 T. It has also been shown that the enhancement of the energy confinement in Globus-M2 with collisionality decrease is associated with an improvement of both electron and ion thermal insulation.

The results of the last (in the thermonuclear program “Magnetic compression”) MAGO-IX experiment with a plasma chamber including a third compartment designed to compress plasma with a converging liner are presented. An X-ray pulse consisting of an intense peak of 1-μs duration, followed by a low-intensity tail with a duration of more than 10 μs, was recorded. In the MAGO-IX experiment, the neutrons were generated mainly in the third compartment. A neutron yield of 2 × 1012 was obtained. The results demonstrate that the expected compression of preheated plasma in chambers similar to MAGO-IX is promising for achieving thermonuclear ignition.

The article considers the problem of building a multi-agent system for solving information security problems of automated process control systems. The architecture of an intelligent agent is proposed and studied, the features of which are the presence of a set of models used both for assessing the security of a certain node of the security object – an automated system, and for making decisions aimed at increasing the level of security. The results obtained in the course of research improve both the scientific and methodological apparatus for integrating methods of multi-agent technologies, and expand the areas of its practical application.

Experimental study of thermal energy confinement in magnetic confinement devices is one of the fundamental problems in plasma physics. The data processing technique covering kinetic and magnetic measurements performed for the Globus-M tokamak is described. A zero-dimensional code has been developed on the basis of this approach making it possible to calculate important discharge parameters during the experiment (between discharges): the electron and ion stored thermal energy content, plasma effective charge, and confinement time. Good agreement of the zero-dimensional calculations and ASTRA modeling indicates that this approach can be applied for routine data processing in Globus-M in view of the specifics of the device.

In the paper the possibility of use of computational modeling for prediction of processes of phase transformation by example of small series of Fe-Ni-Co alloys has been shown. Due to complexity of structure for-mation processes in these alloys the relation between modeling and experimental work was described. Modeling allows to predict basic transformations in alloys, but it doesn`t display the real composition of structural components.

It is shown that for finite cyclic systems described by two band Hubbard Hamiltonian with strong electron repulsion the reduction to effective t–J model may give incorrect description of the ground state symmetry due to neglect of the correlated hopping terms.

We apply perturbation theory and cyclic spin permutation formalism to study the lowest energy states of the infinite-repulsion Hubbard model on finite fragments of n-leg ladder rings and show jump-wise behavior of the ground state spin S 0 as a function of fragment parameters.

We apply cyclic spin permutation formalism to the study the lowest energy states of the infinite-repulsion Hubbard model on n -leg ladders. For ladder fragments with the electron densities ρ = 1 – (2 n ) −1 we show that the alternation in the values of one-site energies for neighboring rungs leads to the stabilization of the ground state of ladder fragments with the maximal value of the total spin ( S 0 = S max ) against the increase of the interactions between rungs. The decrease of the electron density may lead to the destruction of this state. For two leg ladder fragments at the density ρ > 0.8 we find a possibility of the transition between the ground states with S 0 = S max and S 0 = S max −1 with the decrease of the interaction between legs.

The current work reports on the significant rise of the fusion triple product in experiments carried out on the compact spherical tokamak (ST) Globus-M2 with a twofold increase in the toroidal magnetic field. A tenfold rise in the n . T . τ E product was recorded during an increase in the magnetic field from 0.4 to 0.8 T and the plasma current from 0.25 to 0.4 MA at an unchanged auxiliary heating power value. Limited reasons may affect this positive trend, among which are energy confinement improvement and an increase in the efficiency of neutral beam heating. Despite the increase in the magnetic field, the neutral beam injection (NBI) led to clear and reproducible transition to the H-mode accompanied by a decrease in the turbulence level at the plasma edge. It was experimentally confirmed that strong dependence of the energy confinement time on the magnetic field value is conserved at a higher magnetic field approaching 0.8 T. Enhancement of energy confinement is connected to a collisionality (ν *) decrease. While for conventional tokamaks the confinement dependence on collisionality becomes weaker with decreasing ν * dependence, in the ST, in contrast, we observe its strengthening.

Magnitnoe Obzhatie (MAGO)/magnetized target fusion (MTF) thermonuclear experiments executed with a goal of producing the target plasma heated up to temperatures of hundreds of electronvolts, intended for subsequent compression by an imploding liner accelerated by explosion products, are reviewed. In MAGO/MTF experiments, plasma chambers were used consisting of two or three compartments connected by narrow nozzles: acceleration cylinder compartment and deceleration/fusion compartments (cylindrical or hemispherical). A technology of plasma chamber laboratory conditioning is described. Neutron and soft X-ray pulses are presented and obtained in experiments with chambers powered by an explosive magnetic generator. Irrespective of the chamber geometry and number of compartments, the X-ray pulse consists of a highly intensive peak with a duration of $1~\mu \text{s}$ and more than a 10- $\mu \text{s}$ -long low-intensity tail. The neutron pulse is time coincident with the X-ray peak. Yields up to $10^{13}$ neutrons were detected in experiments with two-compartment chambers. Three-compartment chambers with an intermediate compartment are believed to be more promising for the compression. The results are described of the latter MAGO-IX experiment, the only successful experiment with the three-compartment chamber, in which the yield of $2\times 10^{12}$ neutrons was detected in the third compartment and the yield in the middle compartment was many times lower.

This Report presents phase transformations that occur in the zone of a local high-power stationary laser heating of a TiN - TiB2 ceramics, morphology and composition of films deposited by the ablation products.

A new generation spherical tokamak Globus-M2 was launched in 2018. It keeps size of Globus-M, however new electromagnetic system allows achieving higher toroidal magnetic field and plasma current. First experimental campaign with the toroidal magnetic field 0.7 T and plasma current up to 300 kA was carried out in 2019. Increase in the toroidal magnetic field and plasma current resulted in overall improvement of the discharge parameters. Significant plasma temperature growth and neutron rate increase was obtained. Record stored energy, which is approximately one and a half times higher than in the Globus-M experiments, was reached. Toroidal lower hybrid wave launch provided noticeable current drive. Preparation for the next experimental campaigns with the higher toroidal magnetic field and plasma current are on the way.

The qualitative and quantitative analysis of distribution of structural components (-phase + graphite) in the carbon-containing invar alloy with 0,6% C was conducted. It is demonstrated that velocity of crystallization produces a strong influence on the dispersion of graphite and on the volume fraction of graphite components in the alloy, i.e. at faster cooling the graphite volume fraction and its dispersion are noticeably higher than at slower cooling. The linear thermal expansion coefficient of both slowly cooled and fast cooled alloys maintains its values constant at heating temperatures lower 200 oC. However, in the alloy received as a result of fast cooling this coefficient values are lower than at slow cooling which can be explained by a lower content of carbon in the -phase, being a carrier of invar properties, of the slowly cooled alloy.

A new technique for heat-hydraulic calculation to organize the normal operating modes of the heat supply systems intended to decide the tasks of planning and mode selecting, which ensures the required thermal loads at adherence of all restrictions on its parameters, is proposed. The main feature of the technique is in the determination of the parameters of throttling devices on the network and inlets into the buildings of consumers taking into account the differentiated corrections to the flow rates on the compensation of the heat losses in the network. The technique involves the decision of the multilevel adjustment calculation task, in which the deviations of the boundary mode parameters (pressure, flow rate, temperature) in place of the decomposition of the heat supply system model on the levels of main and distribution heating networks taking into account the intermediate control stages on the central heat points (CHP) are minimized. At each level, the task of single-level adjustment heat-hydraulic calculation is decided, which is mathematically defined as an optimization task where the internal air temperature deviation is minimized of the required value with the given accuracy a priori. The technique is realized as part of the ANGARA-TS data-computing system and allows developing the adjusting procedures to improve the heat supply quality and availability of heating consumers, determining the minimum necessary values of heads on the sources and pumping stations.

We study the problem of planning economic development under uncertainty in the outcome of arms reduction talks that influence the choice of a long-term development goal, either peaceful or defensive. Instead of two-stage planning, we consider multistage planning which is not purely guaranteeing but rather stochastically guaranteeing. We assume that predictions of probabilities for various outcomes of the talks that are needed for this are provided by experts. Compared to the results of the talks on previous stages, expert predictions are corrected with formal statistical methods. We illustrate the general foundations of our approach with a twosector dynamic model of the economy with the maximum principle.

A 114 g decrease in the live weight gain and a 160 g increase in the mixed feed intake may become evident at the fifth maximum permitted level (MPL) for cadmium added to a broiler-chicken diet. The concentration of the pollutant increased two and a half as high in meat. A high concentration of the pollutant in the mixed fodder could cause decrease in the contents of muscle tissue fat, lysine and leucine, and vitamins B2, B6, and B12 by 6.4, 2.6–4.0, and 1.0–8.0%, respectively. In addition, the level of water reliably became approximately one and a half higher in tissues; the contents of threonine and vitamin B5 increased by 20.5 and 0.92%, respectively; the concentrations of chlorine and potassium decreased by 2.5 and 4.2%, respectively; the contents of iron and manganese increased by 1.7 and 1.8%, respectively.

Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the distribution of structure components of Fe-Ni-Co carbon-containing invar alloy with 0.6%C has been performed. It has been shown that the cooling rate during crystallization affected volume percentage and dispersity of graphite. The alloy crystallized at a high cooling rate has demonstrated higher volume percentage and dispersity of graphite than the alloy crystallized at a low cooling rate. Both alloys have displayed similar behavior of the coefficient of thermal expansion. During the heating the constant values of thermal expansion were kept up to 200 °C. However, the minimal thermal expansion has been observed in the alloy crystallized at a high cooling rate. The explanation for that might be the following: the content of carbon into the γ-phase is lower in the alloy crystallized at a high cooling rate than in that crystallized at a low cooling rate. As thermal expansion is caused by γ-phase properties, the reduction of carbon into the γ-phase results in the minimal coefficient of thermal expansion.

Background. The purpose of the study was to investigate the influence of subcutaneous allergenspecific immunotherapy with birch extract absorbed onto calcium phosphate on quality of life of children with allergic rhinoconjunctivitis Methods. 50 patients at the age from 5 to17 years old with allergic rhinoconjunctivitis sensitized to trees pollen (birch, alder, hazel) were observed. All the patients were divided into 2 groups. The first group consisted of 23 children, who were treated with birch extract («Phostal») subcutaneous allergen-specific immunotherapy (SCIT). The second group was a control group, consisted of 27 children, no treatment was assigned to them. Results. Statistically significant increase of all quality of life indexes in the group which was treated with SCIT using «Phostal» was observed. Statistically valid decrease of severity of rhinoconjunctivitis symptoms in the 1 group was shown (6,1±3,1; 11,8±4,5; p=0,00002). Total number of Phostal injections was 990, 227 (23%) local reactions and no one systemic reaction have been observed during the study. Conclusion. SCIT with birch extract absorbed onto calcium phosphate could be considered as a highly effective and safe method of treatment of pollinosis in children.

We present a simplified formalization of a complex political-economic situation that deals with planning the development of national economy under lengthy talks on disarmament in the world with a priori uncertain results. With the example of a two-sector Leontieff dynamic model, we construct a two-stage optimal control scheme with minimax terminal criterion. This criterion guarantees the fastest possible achievement of the harder one among the defensive and peaceful goals that correspond to future results of the talks. With the Pontryagin's maximum principle and the guaranteed result principle, we obtain an analytic solution for this example.

Possibility of forming quasi-periodic structures of micron and submicron dimensions on a surface of zirconium dioxide under the action of eximer ArF laser radiation is shown experimentally and theoretically.

Tashtagol administrative district of the Kemerovo region is located in its southern part occupying the up-streams of the Mras-su and the Kondoma rivers. Deposits of the Late Precambrian (Vendian) and the Paleozoic (Early Cambrian), which are relics of oceanic carbonate platform, youthful and mature island arc, form geological structure of the territory. The sequence is broken through by intrusive bodies, of which plagiogranite intrusions of the Late Cambrian (skarn deposits of iron ore) are of the greatest impact for metallogeny of the region. Analysis of regional mineral resources begins with a survey of reserves and resources of ferrous metals (iron, manganese), then resource potential for noble metals and non-metallic minerals is considered consistently. Iron has historically been the main mineral resource of the region, but as of the present, prospects remain only for the Tashtagolskoye deposit. The gold placers has practically been exhausted, development of the Selezenskoye manganese deposit has been stopped due to complexity of its geological structure. Other diverse deposits of metallic and nonmetallic minerals are practically not explored, framing reserves for the future.
