Post-COVID syndrome develops after COVID-19 (COronaVIrus Disease 2019) and leads to cumulative effects in the form of shortness of breath and impaired lung function. Notably, patients with airway inflammation and COVID-19 were found to have increased concentrations of hyaluronic acid (HA). Since bovhyaluronidase azoximer (Longidase®) catalyzes the hydrolysis of HA, this drug has the potential to reduce HA levels and improve lung function in patients with post-COVID syndrome.The aim of the DISSOLVE trial, which was conducted early in the pandemic, was to investigate the efficacy and safety of bovhyaluronidase azoximer in patients with symptoms associated with post-COVID syndrome.Methods. An open, prospective, controlled, comparative, multicenter clinical trial (NCT04645368) included adult patients (n = 160) who had post-COVID syndrome. Patients in the treatment group (n = 81) received bovhyaluronidase azoximer, and individuals in the control group (n = 79) were followed up without intervention. The study included physical examination, evaluation of forced vital capacity (FVC), assessment of dyspnea with the Modified Medical Research Council Dyspnea Scale (mMRC), 6-minute walking test, and pulse oximetry. These indicators were measured on 3 visits, at days 1 (baseline), 75, and 180. In addition, the number of patients who experienced adverse events and serious adverse events were recorded.Results. Baseline patient characteristics in the treatment group and the control group were similar. In the treatment group, there was a statistically significant reduction in residual pulmonary abnormalities after visit 2 (day 75) and visit 3 (day 180). In addition, FVC, pulse oximetry values, and functional exercise tolerance increased statistically significantly at days 75 and 180 compared to baseline. The mMRC scores for dyspnea decreased statistically significantly in the treatment group over 75 days. The safety profile of the drug was reported to be favorable throughout the study. Conclusion. Treatment with bovhyaluronidase azoximer in patients with post-COVID syndrome showed improvement in FVC, pulse oximetry, functional exercise tolerance, and mMRC dyspnea.

The purpose of the article is to assess whether Russia is a market economy according to the set of criteria. In the event that Russia loses the status of a country with a market economy, a statistical hypothesis was tested about a significant difference in the average values of national rates of US anti-dumping duties for market and non-market economies. The status of Russia is analyzed based on EBRD data for 2021–2022, the 2021 report of the WTO Secretariat on the trade policy of the Russian Federation. The claims expressed by the EU and the United States regarding government procurements and localization requirements at meetings of the WTO Committees on Trade in Goods and on Trade-Related Investment measures in 2020–2021 are considered. Anti-dumping duties were estimated based on the US notification of anti-dumping investigations for 10.01.2021–30.06.2021. Methods of mathematical statistics were used, as well as the IBM SPSS statistics system. According to the EBRD, Russia as a “sustainable market economy” is rated at an average of 5.9 points out of 10 possible. A lag in terms of integration was noted. The pricing policy does not cause complaints from the WTO members, however, the policy of government procurements, localization and import substitution of the Russian government does not meet the expectations of the WTO member countries. It was revealed that the exclusion of foreign manufacturers in the widely interpreted “government procurements” is the weakest element among those assessed. The specific obligations of the protocol on Russia’s accession to the WTO (paragraph 99 of the Report of the working group) “to make purchases, if they are not intended for state needs, guided by commercial considerations, without interfering with competition from enterprises of other WTO member countries for participation in such procurements” are violated. The impending loss of market status with the US could increase anti-dumping duties on Russian exports by 287 percentage points. The revealed upward trend in national rates of anti-dumping duties for countries with non-market economies allows us to conclude that the level of discrimination against countries with non-market economies is increasing. The hypothesis that the difference between the average values of the national rates of US anti-dumping duties for market and non-market economies is significant is confirmed.

Despite significant advances in the treatment of leprosy in recent years, the treatment of complications of the leprosy process remains an urgent and challenging task for clinicians and researchers. The article presents modern literature data on the treatment and prevention of neurotrophic complications of leprosy patients.

The relevance of the topic of the article is due to the key role of higher education in the formation of the necessary compe tencies for the scientific, technological and industrial sphere of the economy of a modern state.Aim. The purpose of the article is to consider the methodological and practical issues of designing double degree master’s programs in the field of business education as one of the effective tools for the formation of a single educational space of the Eurasian Economic Union. The issues of development and implementation of joint educational programs are considered on the example of an international educational project developed at the Department of Business Informatics of the North-Western Institute of Management of the RANEPA. A substantive description of the project is given, the choice of a partner organization is substantiated, criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the project implementation are formulated.Tasks. Give a meaningful description of the international educational project (relevance, relevance, structure, methodology and methodological novelty, competencies being formed, etc.), justify the choice of a partner organization and formulate criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the implementation of an educational project.Methods. System approach and expert-analytical methods of research (flow methods of expertise, expert assessments).Results. The proposed methodological approach to the implementation of educational projects in the format of double diplomas allows solving the problems of internationalization of higher education, forming systems thinking, skills in working with large amounts of data and modern application packages, making non-standard decisions in the economy among students of master’s programs based on modern learning technologies. The conceptual level of the proposed approach is formed by the concepts of student-centered learning, building an individual learning trajectory for undergraduate students. The process-methodological level of the proposed approach allows the introduction of modern innovative network technologies for the implementation of the content of the disciplines of the economic mathematical cycle and the cycle of information technology, the adaptation of national educational systems to international standards and the formation of a competitive educational environment.Conclusions. The priority areas for the implementation of international educational projects are: transferring international programs to the status of network programs implemented with leading universities (including the development of double diploma programs); bringing international programs to European quality standards and requirements of international accreditation agencies; passing the international joint professional and public accreditation of international educational programs.

The article examines the macroeconomic indicators of the EAEU countries, used in quantitative methods for assessing financial integration, as well as a number of documents that form the common financial market (CFM) of the EAEU.Aim. To identify the content of the concept of the EAEU CFM, having determined the elements of control of the movement of financial services and capital, to assess the possibilities of its formation, taking into account the achieved integration.Task. To confirm the hypothesis that the insufficiently high existing level of financial integration in the EAEU is the reason why the mechanisms of the EAEU CFM cannot be sufficiently developed.Methods. Correlation analysis, analysis and comparison of texts.Results. Capital mobility is high in Russia and Kyrgyzstan. Converging consumption growth rates is a sign of equalizing financial risks. The countries differ in their exchange rate regimes, two of them maintain a double exchange rate, three have requirements for the repatriation of foreign exchange earnings. Capital flow measures are multidirectional. The CFM assumes the approximation of legislation in the field of financial services. Countries only commit to cross-border supply and consumption abroad for four subsectors, commercial presence is governed by national legislation, and the presence of natural persons is subject to migration regulations. The obligations to liberalize the services market taken to the WTO are not uniform, and the list of exemptions from obligations under the EAEU Treaty is more restrictive than obligations to the WTO. Most of the foreign exchange regulation measures are implemented in accordance with national laws. Investors from member states do not receive national treatment upon establishment.Conclusion. The hypothesis is confirmed. The significance of the work for the theories of financial integration lies in the identification of the forms in which the CFM EAEU exists. The recommendations are intended for use in the work of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The paper presents the determination of the roughness coefficient of the minor river channel, since one of the main design parameters depends on the minor stream, required for a substantiation of design decisions. In accordance with the regulatory documents of the Russian Federation, the roughness coefficient is taken according to the visual characteristics of the riverbed.The purpose of this work is to determine the relationship of the roughness coefficient and dimensionless complexes at different water depths (before and after entering the floodplain).All calculations are performed according to the results of studying the hydrological conditions of the Chernaya river. The roughness coefficient is determined by the numerical method.Analysis of the maximum depth allows to obtain its certain value. It is shown that the hydraulic radius increases at a higher depth. When the maximum depth is deeper, this dependence is nonmonotonic, and when water enters the floodplain, the hydraulic radius strongly differs from the average depth of the minor stream. It is found that before entering the floodplain, there is a significant stochastic relationship between the roughness coefficient, Reynolds number and the dimensionless complex. After entering the floodplain, there is a close stochastic relationship between roughness coefficient and the Froude number. When determining the minimum water levels, the exponent of Chezy's velocity factor in the Manning formula cannot be considered a constant value, because this can lead to a great error.

The research review of the subject field on the research of the digital transformation of economic and social systems is carried out. The research includes two parts. In the frost part the conceptual and mathematical models based on them research considered to apply digital technologies for various types of activities. Based on the systematic use of the review of the subject field, a complex of “white spots” is revealed — inconsistencies of the conceptual and mathematical models necessary in practice, methods of mathematical research of digital transformation of systems of different types, on the one hand, and the available theoretical means for such research, on the other. A significant amount of such inconsistencies is caused by insufficient investigation of the complex of pragmatic, practical aspects of activity based on mathematical forecasting of the results of using modern (digital) technologies in systems of various types. We proved that a pragmatic mathematical study of activity could make it possible to design and improve the digital transformation of systems of different types. We could do such a study by evaluating the activity results, analyzing them using mathematical models, and then synthesizing the activity with mathematical methods based on the analysis of the effects of using information technologies. Such a synthesis can, for example, provide the best results of activities due to the choice of the composition and characteristics of digital technologies.

In the chemical industry, for example, in the production of sulfuric acid and the movement of sulfur recovered in refineries, the temperature of liquid substances can vary widely. The study of the effect of aggressive liquid temperature and concentration on the productivity and energy efficiency of vacuum systems for transporting liquids has been carried out. The performance (dry air pumping rate) and the consumed power of the vacuum pump ZhVN-12N depending on the pressure in the working chamber are considered. The correction coefficients of productivity for pumping out humid air have been determined for different temperatures. The performance indicators of a vacuum system for transporting liquids based on ZhVN-12N have been investigated. It was found that an increase in the temperature of the pumped humid air increases the average productivity of the vacuum system for transporting liquids, reducing its energy consumption. It is shown that an increase in the sulfuric acid solution concentration results in a decrease in productivity and an increase in the energy consumption of the vacuum system, while the efficiency decreases slightly.

Experimental samples of solid-state thin-film lithium-ion batteries (STLIBs) of the LiCoO2/LiPON/Si@O@Al electrochemical system are manufactured using traditional mask technology by radio frequency magnetron sputtering of both the electrodes and electrolyte. The obtained samples have a specific capacity corresponding to the modern published data on industrial STLIB samples. The developed STLIB samples are capable of long (about 1000 cycles) cycling with an acceptable loss of capacity, provided that the charging voltage is limited to 3.7 V. Exceeding the charging voltage leads to an increase in the charging capacity, but to a noticeable acceleration of degradation during cycling. At cycling currents over 20 μA/cm2, the inverse proportionality between the current and the discharge capacity is observed, which is determined by the delayed solid-phase diffusion of lithium. With a decrease in the cycling current, the discharge capacity approaches the theoretical capacity.

The comparative estimation of labour capacity after two various operation methods: standard stomach resection and duodenopiloroplasty is given. It is established that the organopreserving operation method provides higher health level of the patient with peptic ulcer. The suggested method is efficient in medical as well as in social and economic aspect.

Introduction. Hydraulic calculations of flow parts play an important role in the improvement of modern technological lines. Such calculations do not include the characteristics of pumping units. Single-screw pumps (SSP) pump high-viscosity liquids in modern food production. The research objective was to develop a new engineering method for assessing the effect of the viscosity of non-Newtonian fluids on the load characteristics of SSP in food production. Study objects and methods. The research featured SSP with a hopper and an auger, designed for pumping high-viscosity liquids. The initial data were taken from officially published test results of Atlas W SSP and the study of the rheological properties of confectionery jelly masses. The research involved authentic methods for calculating the load characteristics of SSP based on the effect of the viscosity of pumped liquid. According to the first approximation, the change in the dimensionless load characteristics was similar in different SSP with an increase in the viscosity of the pumped liquid. The dependence of the viscosity on the rotation speed was determined by the Bingham formula. Results and discussion. The test results of the Atlas W SSP confirmed the need to take into account the minimum rotation speed at which liquid pumping begins in the calculations. The specified frequency was directly proportional to the differential pressure for this series. The study revealed approximate load characteristics of the SSP during jelly pumping. While pumping viscous foods, SSP demonstrated poorer performance and bigger power consumption than during pumping water. The supply decreased and the power increased as the temperature went down and the pectin content in confectionery jelly masses rose. Conclusion. The dependences of the flow rate and power consumed on the rotation speed published by the manufacturers of SSP were obtained during tests on water. The present research resulted in a new method to assess the load characteristics of the SSP when pumping high-viscosity liquids in food production. The obtained regression dependences need further refinement and experimental verification. The method can be used to design new technological pipelines.

The purpose of the research was to analyze the load characteristics of external gear pumps. As the initial data, the results of factory tests of the NMSH and SH pumps, provided by HMS Livgidromash JSC, were used. The load characteristics of the gear pump NMSH32-10 were constructed, and the dependence of this pump efficiency on the dimensionless pressure and Hersey number was given. The efficiency of the SH 40-4 pump was recalculated according to the test data. Findings of research show that for diesel fuel and oil, the calculated efficiency differs from the values indicated in the technical data sheet by more than 25%, while for fuel oil they differ slightly. This testifies to the non-monotonic dependence between the SH 40-4 pump efficiency and the viscosity. In the entire investigated range of pressures, with an increase in the viscosity of the pumped liquid, the efficiency first increases and then noticeably decreases. The paper presents the dependence of the volumetric and mechanical efficiency of the SH 40-4 pump on the Hersey number at three values of the viscosity of the pumped liquid.

The paper summarizes data on germanium and gallium concentrations in natural magmatic melts as follows from analyses of mineral-hosted inclusions and quench glasses in volcanic rocks. Germanium concentrations in melts vary from 0.96 to 17.6 ppm (1472 determinations). The geometric mean germanium concentration in silicate melts is 1.56 ppm, which is quite close to the clarke value. Concentrations of gallium in magmatic melts vary from 0.47 to 495 ppm (8755 determinations). The geometric mean of gallium concentration in silicate melts is 19.0 ppm, which is also close to the clarke value. Germanium concentration in hydrothermal fluids ranges from 0.01 to 930 ppm (405 determinations), and the geometric mean value is 17.0 ppm. Concentrations of gallium in fluids vary from 0.02 to 320 ppm (441 determinations), with a geometric mean of 2.0 ppm. The possible reasons for the differences in germanium and gallium concentrations in natural melts and fluids are discussed.

The operation of the Samson KS910 pump under various conditions is investigated. The values of empirical constants in mathematical dependencies for calculating pump characteristics were found using the least squares method based on published experimental data. The results of calculating the productivity and power consumption of the Samson KS910 in the vacuum pump mode depending on the pressure in the working chamber at different values of the rotor speed and pressure in the working chamber are presented.

Melt inclusions were investigated in the minerals of dacite tephra of the largest Holocene eruption (7900 years) of Khangar volcano, Sredinny Range of Kamchatka. Melt compositions correspond to rhyolite (SiO2 = 70–77 wt %, Na2O+K2O = 6–7 wt %) with ~5 wt % H2O. The melts show a minor negative Nb anomaly and lesser HREE depletion (La/Yb is ~7.1) compared to those of Ichinsky Volcano, another active volcano of the Sredinny Range of Kamchatka. It was determined that different phenocryst assemblages were formed within temperature ranges of 750–785 and 830–870°C. Evidence for the assimilation of granite-gneiss basement by magmas of Khangar volcano are discussed.

The article presents the concept of a channel-type reactor with a combined cooled moderator. The moderator consists of ceramic beryllium oxide and a liquid moderator—water with a possible variation in its composition due to the ratio between light water and heavy water components. Variants of fuel cycles based on the combination of “power” plutonium with depleted uranium, regenerated uranium, and thorium are analyzed. Quantitative estimates of the consumption of raw materials and the transformation of the isotopic composition of the irradiated fuel components are presented. The issues of safety and the possibility of controlling the reactivity coefficient by the density of the boiling coolant when changing the fuel cycle are discussed.

A by-product of oxygen biotransformation during the life of bacteria is the superoxide ion $${\text{O}}_{2}^{ - }$$ , which quite easily, including nonenzymatically, can turn into the stable product H2O2, which, as is well known, may exhibit corrosive properties for metals. Thus, the vital products of bacterial can act on a metal not only as chemical agents, they can also electrochemically stimulate corrosion. To identify the nature of the elementary stages of biocorrosion, an attempt was made to simulate electrochemical corrosion of zinc using well-known electrochemical methods. Zinc corrosion occurs by two electrochemical mechanisms: corrosion by oxygen depolarization and oxidation of zinc by hydrogen peroxide. The limiting stage of the corrosion process is diffusion of the oxidizing agents to the zinc surface.

The processes of the plasma sputtering of epitaxial lead-tin selenide films near the sputtering threshold are studied. Pb1 – xSnxSe films (x = 0.03, 0.07) with a thickness of 0.5–2 microns are grown by molecular-beam epitaxy on CaF2/Si(111) substrates. The films are plasma treated with radio-frequency high-density low-pressure inductively coupled argon plasma with an ion energy of 20–25 eV at typical process times of 60–360 s. As a result of plasma treatment for a prolonged period, the formation of hollow metal particles of nano- and submicron sizes is observed on the surface. Using scanning electron microscopy methods, it is shown that the lateral dimensions of the obtained structures, their shape and surface density vary over wide ranges and significantly depend on the time of plasma sputtering. The features of plasma sputtering for the studied films and films of a binary compound of lead selenide are compared.

Film structures composed of several identical modules [Co(x)/a-Si(100)/Cu(70)], where the x value varies from 2 to 10 nm, are investigated as an anode material for liquid lithium-ion batteries. It is shown that relatively thick cobalt layers are effective diffusion barriers for silicon and copper atoms, as well as for lithium ions. This leads to a decrease in the capacitance characteristics of the films under study. Thin cobalt layers (less than 3 nm) with a network structure, on the contrary, increase the capacitance characteristics of the anode films. This is caused by more uniform distribution of lithium ion drift channels that are formed at the initial stage of electrochemical cycling of electrodes over their volume.

—More than 10 t of gold have been mined within the Vagran placer cluster (Northern Urals), and the identified primary sources are limited to single noneconomic ore occurrences. Our research has established the heterogeneity of placer gold, which reflects the multistage history of the cluster’s development and the diversity of bedrock mineralization owing to which placer deposits were formed. In the structure of the placers, three age stages are distinguished, reflecting the Post-Paleozoic history of the Ural fold belt’s development: (1) Mesozoic–Early Cenozoic peneplanation, formation of areal weathering crusts, disintegration of primary gold sources and formation of linear erosional–structural depressions, which accumulated material from the displaced weathering crusts; (2) orogenic Pliocene–Quaternary stage of tectonic activation and erosion of primary sources and intermediate gold accumulators; (3) the formation of the modern topography, hydronetwork, and alluvial placers. In morphology, chemical composition, and internal structure of grains, five types of native placer gold have been identified, three of which reflect the structure of the main primary source, which is now almost completely eroded; the fourth bears traces of hypergene changes that occurred at the stage of peneplanation and in the development zones of erosional–structural depressions. The fifth type, which has typomorphic features of near-provenance gold, characterizes the mineralization exposed at the final stage of development of the morphostructure of the Ural belt of tectonic–magmatic activation. Reconstruction of the stages of development of the Vagran ore-placer cluster makes it possible to assess the existing placer potential and the prospects for identifying economic primary mineralization.

The switching of shunt reactors in an electrical network is in many cases accompanied by reignition of the arc in the circuit breaker and the occurrence of dangerous overvoltage in the network. To limit such overvoltage, controlled-switching devices are used to switch off the reactor in the optimal phase of the current. To select the optimal switching conditions, the switching processes are analyzed, taking into account the intuitively clear difference between the switching conditions for three-phase and single-phase shunt reactors due to the electrical and/or magnetic coupling between the phase windings. The proposed method of analysis is universal for all types of three-phase shunt reactors due to the use of a universal four-legged star equivalent circuit. The reactor phases are switched off, synchronized against the phase Avoltage curve, in the sequence A → C → B to minimize the total switching time.

The results of investigation of the polarization relaxation mechanism for the LiPON solid electrolyte by a discharge through an external load are presented. Test cells implemented in the form of encapsulated multilayer structures $${{{{{{\text{Si}{{\text{O}}_{\text{2}}}}/{\text{Pt}}(100\,\,\text{nm})}/{\text{LiPON}\,(1000\,\,\text{nm})}}/{\text{Pt}~(100\,\,\text{nm})}}/{\text{Ti}~(10\,\,\text{nm})}}/{\text{Si}{{\text{O}}_{\text{2}}}}}/{\text{Si}}\;$$ and previously studied by the standard techniques are tested on a special bench measuring discharge characteristics. The core of the method lies in charging the test cell from a stable voltage source up to saturation with the subsequent rapid switch to precision resistance and detection of the voltage drop. The measurements are taken in the load range from 0.1 MΩ to 10 Ω in the temperature range of –50 to 25°C. An equivalent electric circuit for the test cell is proposed, for which a mathematical model of the discharge process is constructed. In the context of the proposed model, the features of the experimental curves are explained by the processes of redox reactions of the lithium ions at the surface of the electrodes and generation of nonequilibrium charge carriers in the bulk upon the charging and discharging of the test cell.

The article describes the features of modeling the stages of pumping a waterfish mixture using a water-ring vacuum pump. The dynamics of pressure changes in reservoir during pump operation for different time intervals is considered. Solutions of the corresponding differential equations are obtained using the numerical method. The calculated characteristics of the process of water-fish mixture pumping into the receiving container are presented.

The paper examines modelling of the pumping stages when using liquid-ring pumps, for example, in power plants and technological devices. It is important to determine the characteristics of various processes involved in liquid pumping using vacuum because the accuracy of predicting how objects move in such flows cannot be improved without solving the problems related to the calculation of hydraulic and power characteristics of the pumping unit in the network. Cubic spline functions were used as approximating functions when calculating the performance characteristics of a liquid-ring vacuum pump. The dynamics of changes in the pressure in the working vessel during operation of an ELRS-5 pump was considered for different values of the leakage coefficient. Solutions of the Cauchy problem were obtained using the numerical method. The paper presents the results of calculating the dynamics of the process of liquid pumping into the working vessel at different values of the vacuum creation time. As the time increases, the liquid flow rate quickly reaches its maximum value, and then falls with a decrease in the pressure drop. The higher the maximum flow rate, the longer the time.

The surface morphology of 100-nm textured Pt films subjected to ion-plasma treatment (IPT) in argon plasma with an Ar-ion energy of 25–200 eV is investigated using a scanning tunneling microscope. As-deposited films are characterized by close values of the surface roughness and average grain size, but their texture strength are different. It is found that IPTs with an ion energy of 25–65 eV lead to increasing roughness, but the roughness of a film with stronger texture is 25–30% less than for a film with weaker texture. This result is caused by a smaller average grain misorientation angle in the case of stronger texture which results in the slower sputtering of grain boundaries. IPT with an ion energy of 200 eV leads to a decrease in the Pt surface roughness by 25% independently of the Pt texture strength.

Textured Pt films 20–80 nm in thickness magnetron-sputtered on an oxidized c-Si(100) substrate have been annealed in vacuum at 500°C for 60 min. The texture parameters and the fraction of crystalline phase as a function of thickness have been studied for as-prepared and annealed films using methods of X-ray diffraction analysis. The fraction of crystalline phase in textured films has been determined by a special technique based on rocking curve examination. It has been found that for all as-deposited films, annealing improves texture and increases the fraction of crystalline phase, the thinner the film, the greater the effect. This result is explained by the appearance of large secondary grains, the volume fraction of which grows with decreasing thickness. The nonuniform in-depth distribution of texture parameters and fraction of crystalline phase in as-grown Pt films has been studied.

The multiparameter differential protection of busbar generators against single line-to-ground faults (SLGF) is studied in accordance with information theory of protection. Such protection is based on the use of the individuality property of harmonic groups. Moreover, it controls many parameters of the higher harmonics of differential currents and is shown to have absolute selectivity. Given the properties of the harmonics of some groups, this perfection is achieved to maintain the aggregate information support of protection at a high level with SLGF in areas where the harmonics of other groups are insufficient. Depending on network parameters and modes, multiparameter differential protection does not require settings or adjustments. This advantage is provided by using relative characteristic values that are generated by the protection during operation. Such protection is sensitive due to a special active-adaptive recognition path, which can measure low-level harmonics against a background of the predominant component of the fundamental harmonic in the current.

Solutions of the corresponding differential equations are obtained using the numerical method. The results of calculating the characteristics of the process of pumping the water- fish mixture into the receiving container are presented.
