The dissertation deals with the conceptualization of the model of the departmental school as a way of realization of managerial practices of students of the study programme School Management at the Faculty of Education of Charles University. The aim of the dissertation is to propose a concept of transferring specific knowledge and experience of secondary school principals by appropriate methods at management practices implemented in departmental schools to students of the study programme School Management, usable to transform their knowledge acquired in the theoretical part of teaching into skills applicable in practice in the school field. The theoretical part of the dissertation defines the departmental school as a place to transfer knowledge from experienced school principals to students, specifies the possibilities of managing and transferring explicit and tacit knowledge in the organization through a managerial approach, in the case of schools also through a pedagogical approach using experiential learning, and identifies the work activities and competencies of the manager and school principal. Disease is a very burdensome and unfavorable situation for every person in his life, which, in some cases is connected with necessary hospitalization. Althought there is an attept at hospitalizing individuals only for necessary time, there are still situations where this period of hospital stay is very long for some patients. Particularly child patients who does not fully understand why he can not be at home in his environment with his closest ones. The aim of all healthcare professionals is to provide hospitalized children with an environment that would eliminate negative psychological and physical manifestations in connection with their involuntary stay in the hospital. Nowadays, however, many other professions are involved in the care of hospitalized children than they did before. The aim of the research was to identify pre-emptive measures of preventing hospitalism manifestation of pre-school children used by selected childrens departments. We also found out how these measures are for doctors, nurses, hospitalized children and their parents. Theoretical part of diploma thesis is prepared on the base of professional sources. A qualitative method was chosen for the empirical part, using semi-structured interwievs with doctors, nurses, pre-school aged hospitalized children and their mothers. The interwievs were conducted in February and March 2017 at two childrens departments of hospitals in the South Bohemian and Moravian-Silesian regions. The obtained data were then analyzed by the open encoding method. The analysis procedure was divided into three individual phases. In the first phase interwievs with medical staff were prepared. In the second phase, data from mothers were analyzed. The third phase consist of a detailed analysis of interviews with children. From the results of the research survey, it is obvious, that elimination of the negative cosequences of the pre-school children hospitalization is done mainly by fulfillment of the Charter of Children's Rights in the Hospital. The main focus is on the lenght of hospitalization, the elimination of unnecessary healing and nursing procedures and, last but not least, the creation of conditions for joint hospitalization with the parents, who then become more active participants in the entire healing process. Parents are provided with enough information, they can do basic nursing care, and, most importantly, as they are all the time with the children, they may be sure that children gets the best care. At the same time, healthcare professionals, especially nurses, gets time that they need not only for their professional activities, but also for children who are hospitalized without their parents. Nurses and doctors can wear colorful uniforms, which certainly have a major effect on appropriate child adaptation and can relieve their anxiety. Kiwanis dolls are being used for examination. They may also serve as a mean of healing and nursing procedures demonstration. Kiwanis dolls, accompanying pre-school child during his hospitalization, also serve for demonstration of feelings or as a mean of creative activity or a game. The analysis of the research results shows that teachers, volunteers, and various organizations have also been involved in the care of hospitalized children in the children departments, which brings many ideas, possibilities and projects. This effective and well coordinated cooperation can be of great importance in the care of hospitalized children, moreover it can also make a major contribution to the quality of nursing care in pediatrics. By taking part in department, they create space for the healthcare professionals, who will gain time for their professional work. They also participate in the humanization of department. At the same time, they create programs for children and parrents that will make their time spent in the hospital more pleasant and allow them to forget of their stay in the hospital.

Home care agencies provide comprehensive health and care services for individuals of all ages, chronically ill and those dying in their natural home environment or in families by their close relatives. A general practitioner indicates home care according to the current health status of the client. However, human performance is not given without reason. The need to be useful is deeply embedded in every man in his personality. The most important factor that determines the behavior of each individual is a situation in which we occur at the moment. The motivation is therefore change over the time and due to different circumstances (Šamánková, 2006; Cejthamr a Dědina, 2010). The aim of the research was to identify the motivating factors of nurses working in home care agencies, related to the occupational choice and profession. The following objectives were established on based of this research project. The form of qualitative research was chosen for elaboration of the subject of the bachelor?s thesis. The technique of depth interview by method of questioning was used to obtain the information. The acquired data were then analyzed using open coding method. The research sample was consisted of 6 nurses, who work in selected agencies operating in southern Bohemia, providing professional nursing care to clients in their natural environment. Five categories were identified as a result of the method of open coding. The first category reveals aspects that influenced nurses in choosing of a medical profession. The sisters were really influenced during choosing their profession by the experience of adverse health condition from the circle of loved ones or they felt in themselves the need to help and care for the sick persons. The nurses, when they chose their carrier in the agency home care, were affected mainly by social nature reasons, that are identify in the second category. The nurses after returning from maternity leave decide mostly for a job in the agency, because they prefer the absence of the shift work. Another reason is an unusual and interesting working environment, opportunities that this job offers to them. The third category describes the motivational factors that give nurses especially diversity and freedom in their working environment, which offers them the option of independence, self-fulfillment, fulfillment of the objectives and assumptions. The nurses considered to be very important a recognition of the client and his family, but also from the employer?s side. They feel the satisfaction of their work and also of the possibility to be in contact with people. An important role also takes a working team, which they describe as an integral part of their work performance. The fourth category reveals demotivating factors that nurses? experience in their work. These include in particular the lack of recognition and interest from employers, low salaries, communication barriers and inefficient cooperation among nursing team, labor shortages and uncertainty. The last fifth category is characterized especially by personal traits, which the nurses present. Behavior to which unanimity belongs interested in the client and his health, satisfaction and psychological well-being can be described by concepts pro-social behavior, empathy, responsibility, independence and consistency. The above specified categories established a process of interaction of these groups that interact among themselves in a certain way. The practical outcome of this bachelor?s thesis is a framework of recommendations designated for head of the management of home care agencies, concerning the motivation of employees.

This bachelor thesis focuses on technical barriers and sanitary and phytosanitary measures in EU-US trade. Differences in technical regulations and product standards lessen the efficiency of the transatlantic economy. Yet they represent an untapped economic and geopolitical potential if dealt with sensibly. The aim of this thesis is to examine EU-US approaches to politically sensitive issues that are of particular concern to consumers, producers, exporters and politicians alike. Consequently, the thesis identifies both mutual recognition agreements and barriers that have proved insurmountable so far (chapter three). Chapter one consists of basic WTO rules as well as its specific attitudes towards regulation/standardization, both of which determine EU-US trade policies significantly. This bachelor's thesis deals with global distribution systems and their position on the travel market. The first part of this thesis provides basic information about GDSs and describes their history and development from inception up to the present. The second part of this thesis contains information about GDSs and their current status and principles of working on the world and Czech travel market, characterizes the major GDS companies and their services and products. This part is also focused on current trends affecting GDSs and their future development.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the specifics of managing a bilingual school. The goal of the thesis was to find out what the specifics of bilingual school management are in the area of people management and management of the pedagogical process in comparison to a traditional school. To create this thesis, the method of studying professional domestic and foreign literature and other available sources was used. Thanks to this method, it was found out what the differences are between the management of traditional and bilingual schools. The work is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the basic conceptual definition related to the researched issue, based on professional literature. The first chapters define school management, further characterize the school director, his assumptions and competences. My diploma thesis deals with the adaptation process of new-coming teachers who enter the pre-primary education system. The adaptation should prepare them especially for a teacher's position, acquaint them with the organisation culture and help them to integrate into the new social environment. The theoretical part is focused on personnel activities in the organisation, adaptation, mentoring, the adaptation process of a new teacher as well as on the adaptation plan. The thesis aims at examining the functionality of the adaptation plan used in a kindergarten in Prague and developing a proposal for adaptation plan changes based on the reflection of the needs during the adaptation of the teachers who started to work in the kindergarten. The research is based on a questionnaire survey and interviews with the teachers and mentors of the kindergarten in Prague. The questionnaire survey and interviews are supposed to find out what the teachers needed most during the adaptation, if the adaptation plan was of any help for the new-coming teachers, what the teachers would like to change in their adaptation plan to make it more helpful and to make it meet their needs during their adaptation, as well as what the mentors would like to change in the adaptation plan to make it more efficient. The diploma thesis deals with the issue of employee education in one primary and nursery school in the Czech Republic. This is a one-case study, which, using qualitative-quantitative research, aims to analyze the current concept of employee education of the given organization and also proposes changes to the existing concept so that it is in line with the requirements for the strategic concept of employee education. The diploma thesis includes a theoretical part with an explanation of relevant concepts from the field of andragogy and management, as well as a practical part, where the internal documents of the school are analyzed and the characteristics of the current concept of employee education are described. Furthermore, a questionnaire survey was also carried out using 3 questionnaires, the respondents were school employees and the school director. These questionnaires were designed to verify the functionality of the concept.
