This study evaluated the effectiveness of an 8‐week digital detox program on digital screen use among 300 nursing students and explored associations between screen use and demographic variables. A one‐group pretest posttest design was employed using the Social Media Addiction Scale Student Form. The digital detox program was implemented for 8 weeks. Digital hygiene, self‐reflection and goal setting, mental wellness, screen time management, physical health, interpersonal relationships, digital detox challenges, and hobby‐based activities. Chi‐square test was employed to determine the associations between digital screen use and demographic variables, respectively. t‐tests were conducted to compare the mean screen time across different demographic groups. Results showed that 42% of students had high social media use, while 20% had low use. The overall mean score of social media use decreased significantly from 64.13 to 47.79 postintervention (p < 0.05), indicating the program's effectiveness. The health risks of smoking are widely known, but the impact of secondhand smoke on children and adolescents is often underestimated. Despite efforts to reduce smoking, exposure to secondhand smoke remains a significant public health concern, especially for young individuals. This systematic review aims to explore the health impacts of secondhand smoking on children and adolescents. Following PRISMA guidelines, 18 eligible studies from 8 countries published between 2015 and 2023 were identified through PubMed, SCOPUS, and Web of Science databases. Findings revealed that passive smoking is associated with respiratory issues like asthma and respiratory infections in children and adolescents aged 4 months to 18 years. Significant correlations were found between asthma severity and cotinine levels, a marker of passive smoking. Additionally, metabolic issues, cardiovascular effects, and ophthalmological changes, and alterations in neurocognitive functions, were noted. Intro: There is an inequality between pro‐environmental knowledge acquisition and behavior. A change in behavior is required to solve both current and future environmental challenges since human behavior has an influence on pro‐environmental practices. Objective: Of the study was to carry out a critical analysis of current literature on Pro‐environmental practices among the Young population. Method: The research question formulation on PICO served as the foundation for the search approach. Keywords were searched in different combinations from the popular databases SCOPUS, PubMed, Medline, Google Scholar, EMBASE, Google and Cochrane library Boolean operators (AND and OR) and keywords were employed in the search to avoid oversaturating the data. Fifteen full‐text articles were selected for the study. Result: Review studies confirmed that youth engagement is highly valued, with evidence from increasing usage of information and communication technologies (education and environmental consciousness among young people. Analysis of pro‐environmental practices and environmental behavior has to be given greater attention considering to the adverse impacts of the existing lifestyle on the environment. This made it possible to incorporate and simultaneously explore a variety of variables and effects on environmental practices, furthering the understanding of how these are interpreted. Conclusion: This study pointed up and made contributions to the expanding field of environmental practices barriers. The challenges found should be taken into account in its entirety and utilized to directly inform policies and procedures in order to promote adoption for practices reduction and remove the obstacles inhibiting change. Despite the relatively small amounts produced, medical waste is a significant issue for the government and the healthcare industry primarily because it poses threats to persons and the environment. Healthcare wastes pose threats to the environment and public health, but knowledge of these concerns and how they relate to management techniques is still lacking. Evaluating waste management practices and healthcare staff expertise is critical to identify shortcomings and lower risk levels. The study was conducted at three selected private hospitals. These three hospitals contain 462 beds, all together with 184 healthcare workers. The study was designed as a descriptive cross-sectional study, and three private healthcare institutions in the study region were evaluated. These 100 healthcare workers were chosen by purposive sampling. The hospitals under consideration include general surgical, Gynecological, pediatric, and various specialty treatments. Data was gathered for the study utilizing a quantitative questionnaire, which includes closed-ended structured questionnaires. The results showed that most healthcare workers practice waste segregation at source. Chemical cross-linking was very poor. However, waste shredding technology is being used substantially. Risk perception among Healthcare workers regarding polymer help waste management showed more of average to high risk. The study concluded that despite the existence of policies and plans, execution is still subpar at private healthcare institutions. The creation of guidelines for hospital waste management, their distribution to other institutions, and their encouragement to do a critical self-evaluation should all be required by the government. Background: Globally, 10-20% of teenagers suffer from mental health issues. Identification has been difficult due to the fact that the majority of sickness is asymptomatic. Impairment of social functioning is a sensitive sign of underlying mental illness. It serves as a starting point for the early detection of mental illnesses. Objectives: The goal of the study is to evaluate adolescent's social functioning skills and their associated elements. Methods: The study involved 100 school-aged teenagers in Pune who were recruited using a stratified random sample technique from government and private schools in the city. The scale utilized was the Child and Adolescent Social and Adaptive Functioning Scale (CASAFS). The level of significance for descriptive and analytical statistics was set at p 0.05. Results: Females made up 52.3 percent of the sample, which was taken from two schools. Overall, 21.8 percent of people had strong social adaptive functioning capabilities, whereas 29.6% had low abilities. Around 36.3 percent performed poorly in the 'peer relationship domain,' while 27.1 percent performed poorly in the 'self-care/home domain.' Age, gender, number of siblings, and parents' educational level were all found to be substantially associated with having an "excellent social adaptive functioning competence" (p 0.05). Conclusion: A large percentage of adolescent's deal with psychosocial challenges on a daily basis. Improving social skills will be a successful strategy in the treatment of mental illnesses. Intro: For years, the simple act of self-weighing has drawn a lot of attention and sparked debate. The study objective was to investigate the experiences of working women with a high BMI in terms of self-weighing behaviour Method: Semi-structured interviews was used. Five people who engaged in self-weighing behaviour were questioned. Age, employment field, working hours, employability status, and number of children were all asked for in the demographic profile. The interviews were taped, verbatim transcribed, and analysed using interpretive phenomenological analysis. The IPA technique was utilised to acquire a better understanding of the participants' subjectively lived experiences. Master themes were determined once five transcripts were completed. Finding: The findings in this study reveals four master themes viz pre occupation, guilt, shame and overwhelm Conclusion: Measuring yourself on a regular basis can help you maintain a healthy weight, but if you are not consistent in losing weight, just weighing yourself might result in the development of negative emotions, which is a loss for the applicant. Intro: Nurses' work continually influences nursing concepts, which include not only caring for the ill but also becoming advocates for well-being and influencing favorable patient outcomes. Study objective was to explore the Nurses perception on over responsibilitiesMethod: Qualitative approach was adopted for the study to explore. A semi structured interview guide was established. The reliability of the research was ensured through verbatim records of the study's respondents' interviews. The instruction was tested on two nurses and modified as a result. Nurses working as staff nurses in Multi-specialty hospitals were targeted for data collection. Purposive sampling approaches were used to recruit respondents until the topics were saturated. Probing questions were posed, and participants were given the opportunity to voice their further thoughts and opinions. The first author went over the transcripts line by line, reading them again and thematically analysing their contents. The study's co-authors confirmed the developing themes and contents. Findings Three themes were emerged viz; Quality of life, Mistake in decision making aand burnout. Conclusion: Nurses engaged in nursing care felt that they are unable to offer focused quality nursing care owing to overburdening, and that record keeping is also hampered. Following an extensive interview, three themes emerged: quality of life, errors in judgement, and fatigue. Intro: the goal of pet therapy is to help people cope with the symptoms of various conditions wherever possible. Study objectives was to assess the knowledge of nurses regarding Pet therapy Method:The study used a descriptive research style and a non-experimental quantitative approach with 120 student nurses. The sampling method used was a nonprobability purposeful sample. The tool was dismantled into two halves. Section I looked at the sample's socio-demographic variables. Section II addressed a self-administered structured knowledge questionnaire comprised of 36 multiple-choice questions. The cronbach's alpha method was used to assess tool reliability, and the result was 0.88. Findings: Nursing student knowledge in terms of frequency and percentage, implying that the majority of respondents (70%) have poor knowledge, a few samples have intermediate knowledge (32%) and 18 percent have Good knowledge. Because the p-values for the year of Nursingprogramme are less than 0.05, it is clear that the year of Nursing programme has a significant relationship with student nurses' pet therapy knowledgeConclusion:Pet therapy appears to provide a wide range of advantages for both physical and psychological health. Objective: To find the outcome of BMI on the menstrual pattern in working women. Methods: A total of 100 working women between the ages of 21 and 45 were chosen for the study. A selfstructured questionnaire was used for data collection. The formula for calculating BMI (kg/m2) was: BMI (kg/m2) = Weight (kg) / Height 2 (m2). Results: The girls were 30.96 years old on average (range 21-45 years). 49 % of the women were working in Govt. sector, 2% in the private sector, 21% were manual workers, and 30% did not specify their occupation. 10% of the women were 10 years old when they reached menarche, 18% were 11 years old when they reached menarche, 42% were 12 years old when they reached menarche, 20% were 13 years old when they reached menarche, and 10% were 14 years old when they reached menarche. The BMI of the women was used to estimate their nutritional status (BMI). 56 percent of the working women were normal (BMI 18.5-24.9), 28 percent were heavyweight (BMI 25-29.9), and 2 percent were obese (BMI 25-29.9). Conclusion: According to the findings, many working women are obese. In a survey of a hundred working women, 14 percent were underweight. Women who were overweight or obese had irregular periods. Nurses get information and skills in order to do nursing evaluations and follow a set of stages while completing operations. When this information and sequencing are implemented as nursing treatments are conducted in the practical context, patients are more likely to have favourable outcomes. When nurses miss stages in treatments or haven't yet mastered skill sets, less-than-optimal results, such as infection and skin disintegration, might occur. Several researches have looked into how EBP is seen by a number of nursing professional groups. Nursing professionals expected to have a positive attitude about EBP, but they lack the necessary knowledge and abilities to put it into practise. EBP implementation is hampered by a variety of human and organisational constraints. The aim of the study is to determine the knowledge and attitude regarding implementation of evidence based practice among nurses at selected colleges. A cross sectional design was used to get the data from 100 nurses from selected hospitals. The population were Nursing faculty working in the college areas. The participants were selected through purposive sampling technique. The results showed that majority of participants (70%) were possessing low level of EBP and followed by 25 % were having average level of knowledge. The majority of participants (72%) were possessing negative attitude and 26% were having positive attitude. Experience showed association with the knowledge of the participants. The study concluded that when the following characteristics are present, healthcare professionals are more likely to incorporate evidence into clinical decision-making: positive attitudes toward EBP. A rising variety of digital solutions are being developed to assist persons with asthma in selfmanagement. Digital technologies, in general, are advanced technologies that can capture, interpret, and transfer information, with smartphone or online applications, tech devices, and other telephone or digitally interventions being common applications. This review aimed to identify the digital interventions available in the management of asthma. Online database search was performed in Pubmed, CINHAL, Medline and relevant studies were included. Following on from this, databases were accessed to enable a more in depth search of the literature using key words and Boolean operators to generate articles relevant to the topic. These articles were filtered using an inclusion/exclusion criterion in order to refine the results to a manageable level or eight articles. These 8 articles were analyzed and the results reported that there is a wide variety of digital interventions being explored. Although several of the research looked at yielded excellent outcomes, there is still a lack of convincing proof of their usefulness in attaining diverse goals. Because asthma is a long-term illness, the research period of included studies may not be long enough to detect substantial health effects, or other factors may be at play in the association between medication adherence and health outcomes. Although some evidence supported the usefulness of the digital therapies evaluated, particularly in terms of improving treatment and drug adherence, the evaluation found that further research is needed to assess their value in terms of treatment outcomes and other clinical outcomes. Menopause has long been seen as a significant turning point in a woman's reproductive and emotional lives. Menopause is a natural phase in a woman's life that occurs when the ovarian production of sex hormones like oestrogen, progesterone, and testosterone decreases. Hot flashes, excessive sweating or chills, interrupted sleep, vaginal dryness, decreased libido, decreased energy, mood fluctuations, enhanced irritability, decrease of skin colour, and urine incontinence are some of the most common physical problems. The quality of a woman's life can be significantly impacted by menopause. Their health requirements vary dramatically, and it is critical for women to be aware of the increased health dangers. The study aimed to determine biopsychosocial problems and coping strategies among post menopausal women. The present study is a descriptive study carried out in selected rural areas of Pune among the women of 40-60 years. A 100 postmenopausal women were selected through purposive sampling technique. The results showed that 72% post-menopausal women were having moderate psychosocial problems followed by 15% of postmenopausal women were having mild level of problems and 13% were having severe level of biopsycosocial problems. (66%) of the post-menopausal women using adequate coping strategies and whereas (34%) of them were not adequately coping up with the biopsychosocial problems. The data showed that there is a no significant association of the level of psychosocial problems with the selected demographic variables. Introduction and objective: Patient with dementia who wander are at high risk of harm self and pose threat to self and stress and worry for care givers too. Care givers feel under stress and worry due to this symptoms. The objective of this study was to determine the opinion from mental health care team member or tracking system for patient with Dementia and to find association between opinions of mental health team members and selected demographic variable. Material and Method: Quantitative Non-Experimental research approach was used and research design was Descriptive Exploratory Research Design to explore on opinion of tracking system for patient with dementia among mental health team member of Pune city. Sample size was 30 and non-probability convenience sampling technique. Tool had two sections. Part A involved the demographic variables age, gender, marital status, designation, and years of experience and part B was structured opinionnair 0 to 2 numerical rating scale which is further divided into 3 categories Yes, No, Don't Know. Result: Mental health team members is in opine for demand of tracking system for patient with dementia. ANOVA test used to check the association between opinion of mental health team member and selected demographic variable. The p-values are less than 0.05, there is a significant association between opinion of mental health team member and years of experience of mental health team members and with other demographic variables there is no any significant association. Introduction: Plastic products have become integral part of our daily lives. Due to which the production of Plastic have gone up worldwide. Plastic consumption in India increased from 61 thousand tons in 1996 to 1.78 million tons in 2017, which is a huge increase. Objective of the study is to assess the knowledge about hazards of Plastic use among selected areas of Pune city. Methods: Non experimental descriptive survey research design for the study. Sample comprised of 400 residents of selected urban community of Pune city. Non probability convenience sampling technique was used for the study. A self-administered structured knowledge questionnaire on hazards of Plastic use was used. The tool is divided in two sections. Section I is dealt with demographic proforma of the sample. Section II was self-administered structured knowledge questionnaire comprised of thirty questions (Multiple choice questions) in four domains on knowledge of hazards of plastic use, after permission from the concerned authority and informed consent from each sample, the investigator has administered the tool. Result: Majority of respondents have average knowledge (46.75%) and 3.5% respondents had poor knowledge on hazards of Plastic use. Conclusion: The present study revealed the residents had considerable average knowledge regarding hazards of plastic use. Introduction : Environmental hygiene is a major public health issue in Indian community. Knowledge on environmental hygiene in rural community is one of the most effective ways to solve this public health issues. The aim of this the study is to assess the effectiveness of video assisting teaching (VAT) on knowledge of environmental hygiene among rural community This paper discusses teaching intervention and implementation strategies related to environmental hygiene in Indian emphasizes to prioritize it according to the need of the country. Aim: To assess the effectiveness of video assisting teaching (VAT) on knowledge of environmental hygiene among rural community Materials and methods: Quantitative experimental approach (pretest posttest one group design) was applied to find out the effectiveness of video assisted teaching (VAT) on knowledge of environmental hygiene in rural community. Convenience sampling technique used to select the 150 sample for the study. Results: Average pretest score was 12.45 and posttest score was 20.54 where the standard deviation of pretest is 3.30 and posttest is 2.53. Range of pretest score is 4 - 20. After video assisted teaching, the range of posttest is 11 - 26 (median of pretest is 13 and posttest median is 21). There was a significant difference between pretest and posttest knowledge score of 8.9, so we support and accept alternate hypothesis. Background: Transfer of good quality embroys of elective frozen embroyo transfer (eFET) in subsequesnt cycles is increased because of the introduction of the GnRH agonist trigger protocol and improvements in cryo-techniques. The ongoing discussion focuses on whether eFET should be offered to the overall IVF population or only to specific subsets of patients. Until recently, the clinical usage of eFET was supported by only a few randomized controlled trials (RCT) and meta-analyses, suggesting that the eFET not only reduced ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), but also improved reproductive outcomes. However, the evidence is not unequivocal, and recent RCTs challenge the use of eFET for the general IVF population. Objective and Rationale:To do the systematic review and meta-analysis with an aima to evaluate whether Elective frozen Embroy Transfer is better in positive outcomes for reproductive, obstetric and perinatal outcomes compared with fresh embryo transfer in IVF/ICSI cycles. Also to evaluate the effectiveness of Elective frozen Embroy Transfer eFET in comparison to fresh embryo transfer in different subgroups of patients undergoing IVF/ICSI cycles. Methods:A systematic review was conducted, using PubMed / Medline and EMBASE to identify all relevant RCTs published until March 2020. The participants included infertile couples undergoing IVF/ICSI with or without pre-implantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A). The primary outcome was the live birth rate (LBR), whereas secondary outcomes were cumulative LBR, implantation rate, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, preterm birth, pregnancy-induced hypertension, pre-eclampsia, mean birthweight and congenital anomalies. Subgroup analyses included normal and hyperresponder patients, embryo developmental stage on the day of embryo transfer, freezing method and the route of progesterone administration for luteal phase support in eFET cycles. Outcomes: Eleven studies, including 5379 patients, fulfilling the inclusion criteria were subjected to qualitative and quantitative analysis. A significant increase in LBR was noted with eFET compared with fresh embryo transfer in the overall IVF/ICSI population [risk ratio (RR) = 1.12; 95% CI: 1.01-1.24]. Subgroup analyses indicated higher LBRs by eFET than by fresh embryo transfer in hyper-responders (RR = 1.16; 95% CI: 1.05-1.28) and in PGT-A cycles (RR = 1.55; 95% CI: 1.14-2.10). However, no differences were observed for LBR in normo-responders (RR = 1.03; 95% CI: 0.91-1.17); moreover, the cumulative LBR was not significantly different in the overall population (RR = 1.04; 95% CI: 0.97-1.11). Regarding safety, the risk of moderate/severe OHSS was significantly lower with eFET than with fresh embryo transfer (RR = 0.42; 95% CI: 0.190.96). In contrast, the risk of pre-eclampsia increased with eFET (RR = 1.79; 95% CI: 1.03-3.09). No statistical differences were noted in the remaining secondary outcomes. Implications: Although the use of eFET has steadily increased in recent years, a significant increase in LBR with eFET was solely noted in hyper-responders and in patients undergoing PGT-A. Concerning safety, eFET significantly decreases the risk of moderate and severe OHSS, albeit at the expense of an increased risk of pre-eclampsia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Nursing is a field of clinical expertise, which deals with caring for the patients with illness and providing them a quality nursing care. To provide a good quality Nursing care, it is very important that the Nurses should be properly trained and expert in providing care. A clinical educator plays a very important in training and updating nurses with the updated and current trends in Healthcare sector. Clinical preceptorship is one of the best methods used to train the nurses in Clinical setting. Clinical preceptorship is a method of teaching and guiding students by a knowledgeable nurse in medical area to train them in clinical Skills and techniques. Clinical preceptorship is a concept which is mostly used in western countries. In India clinical preceptorship is not practiced. Since it is a new concept in India scenario, this study evaluated the knowledge and attitude of Nurse Educators towards clinical preceptorship. Methods: The study was conducted amongst Nursing Educators through online survey method. Results: More than 50 % of the Nursing professors does not have any knowledge about Nursing preceptorship. Out the educators having knowledge about Clinical preceptorship maximum had a positive attitude towards it. Introduction: Ministry of Ayush applauds guidelines for immunity boosting measures for self-care to enhance immunity with special reference to respiratory health of individual. These guidelines are supported by Ayurveda literature and scientific publications. To maintain the optimum health it is very important to enhance the body's natural defense system i.e immunity of individual Objective :To assess the Immunity boosting measures for self-care among residents of Urban community and to determine the association of awareness with selected demographic variables Methods: Quantitative non experimental survey research design was used for the study. Sample size comprised of 100. Non probability convenience sampling technique was used for the study. Reliability of the tool was calculated by cronbach's alpha method and was 0.802.Tool includes Two sections. Section I included demographic proforma of the sample. It consisted of information on variables like age, gender, Occupation. Education and Religion. Section II was about self-administered structured knowledge questionnaire comprised of twenty one questions .After taking the consent from each samples tool was administered to participants. Result: Majority of respondents have average knowledge ( 49.7% ), good knowledge (04%) and 46.3% respondents had poor knowledge . Since all the p-values are large (greater than 0.05), there is no evidence against null hypothesis. None of the demographic variable was found to have significant associated with knowledge of the urban community residents regarding immunity boosting measures for self care Conclusion: The residents had considerable average knowledge regarding Immunity boosting measures for self care. Introduction and objective: Pregnant women are facing challenges with the restrictions during the lockdown period. Advices/instructions from husband and support system contribute to anxiety. The objective of the study includes describing pregnant women's experiences during COVID-19 lockdown period. Material and Method: Qualitative Research Approach and Descriptive Phenomenological as research Design were used. Sample size was four Pregnant women from Urban community during COVID-19 lockdown period. The investigator collected the data on lived experiences of pregnant women through in-depth interview, which was lasted for 45-60 minutes. Qualitative rigor was done, researcher 'Bracketed' her own feelings and experiences about the content under investigation. Triangulation was applied and member checking was done. To ensure credibility the investigator had co researcher review the data. Dependability is achieved by clearly laid down the steps and also in analysis process to ensure that anyone wishing to conduct study can easily follow and carry out the steps. Transferability of the study was ensured by the exhibition of a dense narration of the samples research context and setting. The quality of data collected was significant. Finding: Four themes were emerged: Unknown fear, Anxiety, inclination towards Spirituality and State of Dilemma. Conclusion: Most of the participant reported a negative overall experience but very much appreciated the support of husband and other family members. Passive smoking has become a serious health issue in the recent times. World is facing serious public health problem known as Second Hand Smoke (SHS). Globally, it is estimated that one-third of the population is frequently exposed to Second Hand Smoke, with 0.6 million individuals dying each year from SHS exposure. This paper was in response to the rising trend of active smoking where the nearby people are affected more than the actual smokers. Introduction: Pranic healing is a energy based therapy. It activates the healing meachanism in the body Objective : To assess the degree of pain among the adult on back pain, to assess the effectiveness of Pranic healing therapy on backache among adults. And to determine the association between backpain and Pranic Healing therapy with selected demographic variables variables Methods: A quantitative approach and Pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest research design was used to assess the effectiveness of pranic healing therapy among adults group. study was conducted in a selected Pranic healing therapy centre in Pune city more than 200 adult came for the therapy. Amongst them 40 samples were selected for the study who fulfills the inclusion criteria. Convenience sampling techniques was used for the selection of samples in this study. Tool included three Sections. Part I - Demographic variable. Part II - modified Bayerchiro's pain scale to assess the symptoms of pain, stiffness, and physical function in patients with back pain. The samples were given a pretest, followed by Pranic healing therapy was given and post test is given. Result: Average pain score in pretest was 33.1 which decreased to 29.3 in posttest. T-value for this test was 9.3 with 39 degrees of freedom. Corresponding p-value was small (less than 0.05), null hypothesis is rejected. There is a public health alert as a huge pandemic situation has emerged in the country and across the globe regarding the novel corona virus outbreak. India is on high alert as total cases crossed one lakh.1 Maharashtra is leading the scoreboard with 33000 plus cases and number is increasing day by day. Social Distancing plays important role in combating the situation but depends on the attitude and awareness of the community2 Objective: The main aim of the study is to identify the attitude and level of awareness among the community regarding social distancing in pandemic situation Methods: A cross sectional design was used along with structured questionnaire tool for data collection. A snowball sampling method was adopted where a goggle form was developed which was sent through various online modes. The study mode was purely online. Participants were from the age of 18 and above who knows English and were willing to participate in the study. Results: The results showed that People have partial awareness related to the pandemic situation of corona virus spread. Surprisingly 33.1% people think that there is treatment of COVID 19. They showed good interest and positive attitude towards hand washing and maintain social distancing but for maintaining protocols and guidelines to follow for social distancing they were not comfortable. Background and objective: Poor menstrual hygiene is most common etiology in women for gynecological problems especially in rural area where they cannot afford sanitary napkins or they don't use it because of beliefs in myths and taboo. Methods: A Quantitative Approach: Non-Experimental descriptive design was adopted to assess the knowledge on menstrual hygiene practices and demographic variables, which included 100 samples from selected areas. Non-probability convenience sampling technique was adopted in this study. The final draft of the tool consisted of 05 items on structured questionnaire to collect demographic data and 10 items on self-administered practice questionnaire. After obtaining the consent form, the data was collected from 100 women using structured questionnaire, which was prepared in Marathi language. Result: During assessment of knowledge on practice the findings were 58% of the study participants avoid religious things, 88% do not avoid going to school/college/office during menstruation, 44% women do not avoid any events or family functions, 85% women use disposal sanitary pads and 10% use old wash cloth, 39% women change their napkins or cloth twice a day, 44% change their panties during menstruation more than twice a day, 56% dispose used napkins in a paper wrap, 84% dispose used napkins or cloth in dustbin or PNC waste collection and 13% burn it, 36% wash their perineum 3 to 4 times and 34% washes 1 to 2 times in day, 38% use soap and water to wash genital area, 36% use antiseptic and 24% use only water, Conclusion: Majority of the women have not attended the awareness programme in spite of that still majority of the women maintain good menstrual hygiene practice, it can be possible that they get information through various sources.
