Bu tezde, kompleks değerli, harmonik, yalınkat ve bir yönde konveks fonksiyonların lineer kombinasyonları incelenmiştir. Tez, beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde, tezin amacı, kapsamı ve mevcut çalışmalar içindeki yeri belirtilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, analitik ve harmonik yalınkat fonksiyonlar ile ilgili bazı temel tanım ve teoremler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, belirli bir özelliğe sahip yeni bir harmonik fonksiyon oluşturmak için kullanılan kesme yöntemi ve lineer kombinasyon tekniği açıklanmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde, reel eksen veya imajiner eksen yönünde konveks harmonik yalınkat fonksiyonların lineer kombinasyonları üzerine yapılan bazı makaleler incelenmiştir. Ayrıca, reel eksen yönünde konveks harmonik fonksiyonların lineer kombinasyonunun reel eksen yönünde konveks olabilmesi için yeter koşullar araştırılmıştır. Son bölümde, tezde incelenen ve araştırılan sonuçlar özetlenmiştir. In this thesis, linear combinations of complex-valued, harmonic, univalent, and convex in one direction functions are investigated. Thesis consists of five chapters. In the first chapter, the aim, the scope and the place in the literatüre are given. In the second chapter, basic definitons and theorems related to analytic and harmonic univalent functions are stated. In the third chapter, shear construction method and linear combination technique are explained that are used to construct new examples of harmonic univalent functions with a particular property. In the fourth chapter, some studies concerning linear combinations of harmonic, univalent, and convex in the direction of the real axis or imaginary axis are studied. In addition, sufficient conditions for the linear combination of functions harmonic and convex in the direction of the real axis to be convex in the direction of the real axis are investigated. In the last chapter, the results examined and explored through the thesis are summarized.

Tez dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde, çalışmadaki bütünlüğün sağlanması için gerekli olan temel kavramlara yer verilmiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde Baer halkalar ve bu halkanın genelleştirmelerinden olan yarı-Baer ve π-Baer halkalardan bahsedilmiştir. Bu halkalara ait temel özellikler ve bu halkaların çeşitli genişlemeleri araştırılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde ise sıfırlayıcı koşulları kullanılarak tanımlanan bazı halka sınıflarından olan dual halkalar ile Ikeda Nakayama halkaları bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca yeni bir halka sınıfı olan π-dual halka sınıfı tanıtılmıştır. π-dual halkaların bir takım özellikleri incelenmiştir. Bu yeni sınıfın dual halkalar, π-Baer halkalar ve π-genişleyen halkalarla olan ilişkileri de araştırılmıştır. Son bölüm ise çalışmaya ait sonuçları içermektedir. This thesis consists of four chapters. In the first part, for the sake of completeless the fundamental notions are given. In the second chapter, Baer rings and some generalizations of Baer rings such as quasi-Baer and π-Baer rings are mentioned. The principal properties and several extensions of the former rings are explored. In the third section, dual rings and Ikeda Nakayama rings, which are also defined by annihilator conditions, are included. Moreover, the class of π-dual rings is introduced. Several properties of π-dual rings is studied. The relationships of this new class with dual rings, π-Baer rings and π-extending rings are also investigated. Final section includes the results of the study.

Bu yüksek lisans tezinde Hicri 1339 (Miladî 1920) yılında Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Maarif Nezareti (günümüzdeki adıyla Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı) tarafından bastırılmış olan "Mekatib'i İbtidaiyede Hendesenin Usul'ü Tedrisî" isimli 12 sayfalık bir kitapçık üzerinde durulacaktır. Kurtuluş savaşı yıllarında basılan bu kitapta ilkokullarda geometri öğretme yönteminin nasıl olması gerektiği başlıklar hâlinde verilmiştir. Günümüzde “iptidaiye mektebi” yerine ”ilkokul”, “hendese” yerine “geometri” ifadeleri kullanılmaktadır. Toplam iki bölümden oluşan bu kitapçıkta ilkokulda geometrinin hangi yöntemlerle anlatılması gerektiği üzerinde durulmuştur. Birinci bölümde “Geometrinin eğitim ve öğretim ile ilişkisi”, ikinci bölümde “Geometriyi öğretme yöntemi” üzerinde durulmuştur. Kitapçıkta bahsedilen geometri öğretim yöntemlerinin aradan geçen bir asırdan fazla bir zamandan sonra, günümüzde bile hâlâ geçerliliğini koruyor olması düşündürücüdür. Osmanlıca harflerle yazılmış olan kitapçığın aslının tüm sayfalarının görüntüleri ile okunuşunun günümüzde kullandığımız Latin harfleri ile yazılmış hâli tezin eklerinde verilmiştir. Tezin esas kısmını oluşturan “Bulgular ve Tartışma” bölümünde ise kitapçıkta yer alan konular günümüz Türkçesi ile açıklamalı olarak yer almaktadır. This MSC thesis will focus on a 12-page booklet called "Mekatib'i İbtidaiyede Hendesenin Usul'ü Tedrisî", which was published by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Türkiye in Hijri 1339 (1920 Gregorian). How the geometry teaching method in primary schools should be given under the headings. Today, the expressions "primary school" instead of "Mekâtib’i İbtidaiye" and "geometry" instead of "hendese" are used. This booklet, which consists of two parts, focuses on the methods of teaching geometry in primary school. In the first part, "The relationship of geometry with education and training", in the second part, "The method of teaching geometry" is emphasized. It is thought-provoking that the geometry teaching methods mentioned in the booklet are still valid even today, after more than a century. The images of all pages of the original booklet, which was written in Ottoman letters, and the reading of the booklet, written in Latin letters that we use today, are given in the appendices of the thesis. In the fourth part, which constitutes the main part of the thesis, the topics in the booklet are explained in today's Turkish.

Bu çalışmada Zsigmondy teoremi ve bu teoremin uygulamaları ele alınmıştır. İlk olarak klasik Zsigmondy teoremi verilmiş ve daha sonra lineer diziler için Zsigmondy teoremi ele alınmıştır. Daha sonra çalışılan ilk lineer olmayan dizilerden eliptik bölünebilir dizilerdeki ilkel asal bölen kavramı üzerinde durulmuş ve belli eliptik eğrilerle eşleşen eliptik bölünebilir diziler için Zsigmondy sınırı verilmiştir. Birinci bölümünde bazı aritmetik fonksiyonlar ile ilgili temel kavramlar ele alınmış ve daha sonra döngüsel polinomlar ve özellikleri üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölümde ilk olarak ilkel asal bölen tanımı verilerek klasik Zsigmondy teoremi ele alınmıştır. Daha sonra bu teoremin bir elementer ispatı verilerek Zsigmondy teoreminin uygulamaları üzerinde durulmuştur. Son olarak büyük Zsigmondy asal sayısı kavramı verilerek Lucas ve Lehmer dizilerinin ilkel asal bölene sahip oldukları gösterilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde eliptik dizi kavramı tanımlanarak bu dizilerin özellikleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Daha sonra bu dizilerin eliptik eğrilerle olan ilişkisi kullanılarak bu dizilerde ortaya çıkan ilkel asal bölenler belirlenmiş ve Zsigmondy sınırları verilmiştir. In this work, the Zsigmondy’s theorem and its applications have been discussed. First, the classical Zsigmondy's theorem was given and then the Zsigmondy’s theorem for linear sequences was discussed. Later, the concept of primitive prime divisors in elliptic divisible sequences, which are one of the first studied non-linear sequences, was discussed and the Zsigmondy bound was given for the elliptic divisibility sequences associated to certain elliptic curves. In the first section, fundamental concepts related to arithmetic functions were discussed, and later on the fundamental concepts of cyclic polynomials and their properties were emphasized. In the second chapter, first the definition of primitive prime divisor was given, and the classical Zsigmondy’s theorem was discussed. Then an elementary proof of the Zsigmondy theorem was given, and applications of the theorem were discussed. Finally, the concept of the large Zsigmondy prime was introduced, and it was shown that Lucas and Lehmer sequences have primitive prime divisors. In the third chapter, the definition of elliptic sequences and their properties were given. Then the relation between these sequences and elliptic curves were used to determine the primitive divisors and Zsigmondy bound for these sequences.

Bu çalışmada 𝑘 ≥ 2 tam sayısı için 𝑑 = 𝑘² + 4 olmak üzere Δ = 4𝑑 diskriminantlı 𝐹Δ (𝑥, 𝑦) = 𝑥² − 𝑑𝑦 ² Pell formlarının tüm otomorfizm kümeleri elde edilmiştir. Daha sonra ise bu Pell formdan faydalanarak 𝐹Δ (𝑥, 𝑦) = ±1 ve 𝐹Δ (𝑥, 𝑦) = ±𝑘² Pell denklemlerinin tüm tam sayı çözümleri kümesi belirlenmiştir. Birinci bölümde kuadratik formlar, bu formların bazı temel özellikleri, Pell denklemleri ve balans sayıları hakkında genel bir bilgi verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde materyal ve yöntem belirtilmiştir. Üçüncü bölüm tezin orijinal kısmı olup bu bölümde, 𝑘 ≥ 2 tam sayısı için 𝑑 = 𝑘²+ 4 olmak üzere Δ = 4𝑑 diskriminantlı 𝐹Δ (𝑥, 𝑦) = 𝑥²− 𝑑𝑦 ² Pell formu tanımlanarak bu formların tüm otomorfizm kümeleri belirlenmiştir. In this thesis, the set of all automorphisms of the Pell forms 𝐹Δ (𝑥, 𝑦) = 𝑥² − 𝑑𝑦² of discriminant Δ = 4𝑑, where 𝑑 = 𝑘² + 4 for some positive integer 𝑘 ≥ 2 is determined. Later the set of all integer solutions of the Pell equations 𝐹Δ (𝑥, 𝑦) = ±1 and 𝐹Δ (𝑥, 𝑦) = ±𝑘² is obtained. In the first section, some notations and definitions on quadratic forms, some fundamental properties of quadratic forms, Pell equations and balancing numbers are given. In the second section, the material and method are given. In the third section, which is the original part of the thesis, the set of all automorphisms of Pell forms 𝐹Δ (𝑥, 𝑦) = 𝑥²− 𝑑𝑦² of discriminant Δ = 4𝑑, where 𝑑 = 𝑘² + 4 for some positive integer 𝑘 ≥ 2 is determined. Later the set of all integer solutions of the Pell equations 𝐹Δ (𝑥, 𝑦) = ±1 and 𝐹Δ (𝑥, 𝑦) = ±𝑘² is obtained. In the last section, result is given.

Bu tezde balans ve kobalans sayılarından elde edilen yeni bir tam sayı dizisi olan balko-balans sayıları tanımlanmış ve bu sayıların genel terimleri balans sayılarına bağlı olarak elde edilmiştir. Birinci bölümde tam sayı dizileri ile ilgili genel bir bilgi verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde materyal ve yöntem belirtilmiştir. Üçüncü bölüm tezin orijinal kısmı olup bu bölümde, balkobalans sayıları, Lucas-balko-balans sayıları ve balkobalansırlar olmak üzere üç yeni tam sayı dizisi tanımlanmış ve bu tam sayı dizisinin genel terimleri balans sayılarına bağlı olarak elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca bu tam sayı dizileri ile ilgili yeni cebirsel bağıntılar elde edilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde ise sonuç verilmiştir. In this thesis, three new integer sequences are defined and determined the general terms of these integer sequences in terms of balancing numbers. In the first section, some notations and definitions on integer sequences are given. In the second section, the material and method are given. In the third section, which is the original part of the thesis, the general terms of balcoba-lancing number, Lucas-balcobalancing numbers and balcobalancers are given in terms of balancing number. Further some new algebraic identities on them are obtained. In the last section, the result is given.

Bu tez çalışmasında genel anlamda benzenoid sistemler üzerinde çalışılarak kimyasal graf teori alanında önemli uygulamaları olan Hosoya indeksi ve Merrifield-Simmons indeksinin hesabına odaklanılmıştır. Başlangıç olarak verilen her iç noktasız-yoğunlaştırılmış benzenoid sistemin ∀𝑘≥0 için 𝑘-eşleme sayısını ve 𝑘-bağımsızlık sayısını hesaplamada kullanılan her biri elde edilen doğal sayı içerikli kare matrisler ile bir vektör çarpımına dayanan iki ayrı metot sunulmuş ve metotların uygulanabilirliği için MATLAB programında kodlar yazılmıştır. Çalışmanın temel kısmı olarak, verilen her iç noktasız-yoğunlaştırılmış benzenoid sistemin Merrifield-Simmons indeksini doğal sayı içerikli matrisler ile bir vektörün uygun bir çarpımı yoluyla hesaplayan metot önerilmiştir. Devamında, iç noktalı-yoğunlaştırılmış benzenoid sistemlerin bir türü olan çift katlı benzenoid zincirlere özgü Hosoya ve Merrifield-Simmons indekslerinin hesabına yönelik her biri ilgili indeksi hesaplamada kullanılan iki ayrı metot önerilmiştir. Son olarak, 𝑅𝑛 ve 𝑷𝒏 sembolleriyle sunulan iki ayrı özel tipteki iç noktalı-yoğunlaştırılmış benzenoid sistem türüne yönelik hem Hosoya hem de Merrifield-Simmons indekslerinin hesabı, bir matrisin bir kuvveti ile bir vektörün çarpımı şeklinde ifade edilen açık bir fonksiyon olarak sunulmuştur. In this thesis, the focus is on the computation of the Hosoya index and Merrifield-Simmons index, which have significant applications in the field of chemical graph theory, by working on benzenoid systems in general. For ∀𝑘≥0 of each given cata-condensed benzenoid system, two different methods are presented, each based on the product of square matrices with natural numbers and a vector, used to compute the 𝑘-matching number and 𝑘-independence number, and for applicability of the methods, codes are written in MATLAB. As the main part of the study, a method that computes the Merrifield-Simmons index of each given cata-condensed benzenoid system by means of an appropriate product of matrices with natural numbers and a vector is proposed. Afterward, two different methods are proposed for the computation of the Hosoya and the Merrifield-Simmons indices specific to double benzenoid chains, which are a type of peri-condensed benzenoid chains, each of which is used to compute the relevant index. Finally, the computation of both the Hosoya and the Merrifield-Simmons indices for two special types of peri-condensed benzenoid systems represented by 𝑅𝑛 ve 𝑷𝒏 is presented as an explicit function expressed as the product of a power of a matrix and a vector.

Bir 𝑀⊂ ℝ𝑛+𝑑 altmanifoldunun 𝐺 Gauss dönüşümü 𝑀 üzerinde sıfırdan farklı türevlenebilir bir 𝑓 fonksiyonu ve sabit bir 𝐶 vektörü için Δ𝐺=𝑓(𝐺+𝐶) eşitliğini sağlıyorsa 𝑀 altmanifoldu noktasal 1-tipine Gauss dönüşümüne sahip olduğu söylenir. Eğer 𝑓 fonksiyonu sabit değilse, 1-tipindeki Gauss dönüşümü has olarak adlandırılır. Noktasal 1-tipinde Gauss dönüşümüne sahip olan bir 𝑀 altmanifoldu için 𝐶 sıfır vektörü ise, birinci türden olduğu söylenir. Aksi takdirde, noktasal 1-tipinde Gauss dönüşümümün ikinci türden olduğu söylenir. Son zamanlarda noktasal 1-tipinde Gauss dönüşüme sahip olan ℝ4 deki rotasyonel yüzeyler birçok araştırmacı tarafından çalışılmıştır. 𝑀⊂ ℝ𝑛+𝑑 altmannifoldunun 𝑥 konum vektörü alanı 𝑥=𝑥𝑇+𝑥𝑁 ayrışımına sahiptir. Burada 𝑥𝑇 ve 𝑥𝑁, sırasıyla 𝑥 in teğetsel ve normal bileşenlerini olup 𝑥𝑇 kanonik vektör alanı olarak adlandırılır. Bir Riemann manifoldu üzerindeki bir vektör alanı, bu manifold üzerinde tanımlanan bir fonksiyonun gradyantı olarak ifade edilebilirse bu vektör alanına konservatif denir. Bu fonksiyon, skaler potansiyel olarak bilinir. Enerjinin korunduğu fiziksel sistemlerin kuvvetleri konservatif vektör alanlarıdır. Sonuçta, 𝜌=12〈𝑥,𝑥〉 için 𝑓 nin gradienti ∇𝜌=𝑥𝑇 dir. Bu çalışmada, 𝑀⊂ ℝ𝑛+𝑑 altmanifoldunun kanonik vektör alanı 𝑥𝑇 nin Δ𝑥𝑇=𝜑(𝑥𝑇+𝐶) şartını sağladığı durumlar incelenmiştir. Bu eşitlik 𝑀 üzerinde sıfırdan farklı türevlenebilir bir fonksiyon 𝜑 ve sabit bir 𝐶 vektörü için geçerlidir. Bu eşitlikte 𝐶 vektörü sıfıra eşit ise 𝑥𝑇 kanonik vektör alanına noktasal 1-tipindedir denir. Bu çalışmada sırasıyla ℝ4 deki rotasyonel hiperyüzeyler ve rotasyonel yüzeylerin kanonik vektör alanı 𝑥𝑇 nin noktasal 1-tipindedir olması ile ilgili bazı sonuçlar elde edilmiş ve bu sonuçları destekleyici örnekler verilmiştir. A submanifold 𝑀 of a Euclidean space ℝ𝑛+𝑑 is said to have pointwise 1-type Gauss map if its Gauss map 𝐺 satisfies Δ𝐺=𝑓(𝐺+𝐶) for some non-zero smooth function 𝑓 on 𝑀 and a constant vector 𝐶. A pointwise 1-type Gauss map is called proper if the function 𝑓 is non-constant. A submanifold with pointwise 1-type Gauss map is said to be of the first kind if the vector 𝐶 is zero vector. Otherwise, the pointwise 1-type Gauss map is said to be of the second kind. Rotational surfaces in ℝ4 with pointwise 1-type Gauss map have been studied by many researchers. For the Euclidean submanifold 𝑀⊂ℝ𝑛+𝑑, the position vector field x can be decomposed as follows: 𝑥=𝑥𝑇+𝑥𝑁, where 𝑥𝑇 and 𝑥𝑁 denote the tangential and the normal components of x, respectively. The tangent component 𝑥𝑇 known as canonical vector field. If a vector field of a Riemannian manifold is the gradient of a function defined on this manifold, this vector field is called conservative. This function, known as a scalar potential. Conservative vector fields representing forces of physical systems in which energy is conserved. Consequently, for 𝜌=12〈𝑥,𝑥〉 the gradient ∇𝜌=𝑥𝑇 holds. In the present study, we considered immersed submanifold 𝑀⊂ℝ𝑛+𝑑 which has pointwise 1-type canonical vector field 𝑥𝑇, i.e. Δ𝑥𝑇=𝜑(𝑥𝑇+𝐶) holds for some non-zero smooth function 𝜑 on 𝑀 and a constant vector 𝐶. A pointwise 1-type canonical vector field is called proper if the function 𝜑 is non-constant. We obtain some results of rotational surfaces and rotational hypersurfaces in ℝ𝑛+𝑑 whose canonical vector fields 𝑥𝑇 satisfy this condition. We also give some examples which support the obtained results.

Tüm bu işlemler 𝑡 ≥ 2 tam sayısı için 2𝑡􀬶 + 4𝑡 + 1 in tam kare olup olmamasına göre iki durumda ele alınmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde ise sonuç verilmiştir. In this thesis, the general terms of 𝑡-balancing numbers, 𝑡-balancers and Lucas 𝑡-balancing numbers for an integer 𝑡 ≥ 1 are determined in terms of balancing and Lucas-balancing numbers. In the first section, some notations and definitions on Fibonacci, Lucas, Pell, Pell-Lucas, balancing, cobalancing and generalized balancing numbers are given. In the second section, the material and method are given. In the third section, which is the original part of the thesis, the general terms of 𝑡-balancing numbers, 𝑡-balancers and Lucas 𝑡-balancing numbers are given. For this reason, first the set of all positive integer solutions (𝑥􀯡, 𝑦􀯡 ) of the Pell equation 2𝑥􀬶 − 𝑦􀬶 = 2𝑡􀬶 + 4𝑡 + 1 is determined by using its set of representatives. Later the general terms of 𝑡- balancing numbers, 𝑡-balancers and Lucas 𝑡-balancing numbers are determined in terms of balancing and Lucas-balancing numbers by using the set of integer solutions. Here the problem is considered in two cases: 2𝑡􀬶 + 4𝑡 + 1 is a perfect square or not for an integer 𝑡 ≥ 2. In the last section, result is given.

Bu tez çalışmasında konvekse yakın harmonik fonksiyonların yeni alt sınıfları incelenmiştir. Çalışma beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci ve ikinci bölümde, tezin amacı, kapsamı ve çalışmada kullanılacak olan temel tanım ve teoremler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, ele alınan konu ile ilgili bazı çalışmalar incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde, ikinci ve üçüncü mertebeden diferensiyel eşitsizlik içeren harmonik fonksiyonların yeni alt sınıfları tanıtılmıştır. Bu sınıfların konvekse yakınlığı, katsayı sınırları, büyüme tahminleri gibi bazı özellikleri elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca, bu sınıfların konveks birleşim ve konvolüsyon özellikleri elde edilmiştir. Son olarak, bu sınıflara ait Gauss hipergeometrik fonksiyonu içeren harmonik polinomlar oluşturulmuştur. Beşinci bölümde, çalışmada elde edilen sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir. In this thesis, new subclasses of close-to-convex harmonic functions are investigated. The study consists of five chapters. In the first and second chapters, the aim and scope of the thesis and the basic definitions and theorems that will be used in the study are given. In the third chapter, some studies related to the subject discussed are examined. In the fourth chapter, new subclasses of harmonic functions containing second and third order differential inequalities are introduced. Some properties of these classes, such as close to convexity, coefficient bounds, and growth estimates are obtained. In addition, convex combination and convolution properties of these classes are obtained. Finally, harmonic polynomials involving Gaussian hypergeometric function belonging to these classes are construted. In the fifth chapter, the results obtained in the study are evaluated.

Bu çalışmada L3 ve L4 Lorentz uzaylarında null ve null olmayan eğrilerin Frenet çatılarının alt uzaylarındaki durumları araştırılmıştır. Bu durumlara ilişkin örneklere ve çizelgelere yer verilmiştir. In this study, the cases of null and non-null curves in L3 and L4 Lorentz spaces in the subspaces of Frenet frames were investigated. Examples and charts related to these situations are included.

Bu doktora tezinde Erich Hecke tarafından 1936 yılında yayımlanan bir makalede tanımlanmış olan Hecke gruplarının normal alt grupları, düzgün figürler ile arasındaki bire bir dönüşüm yardımıyla tespit edilmiştir. Bu dönüşüm 1978 yılında Jones ve Singerman tarafından tanımlanmıştır. 1993 yılına kadar cinsi 7’ye kadar olan düzgün figürler bilindiğinden Cangül tarafından Hecke gruplarının cinsi 7’ye kadar olan normal alt gruplarının simgeleri belirlenmiş, grup yapıları ve özellikleri çalışılmıştır. 2001 yılında Conder ile Dobcsanyi cinsi 15’e kadar olan yönlendirilebilir düzgün figürleri belirlemiştir. 2006 yılında Conder’in cinsi 101’e kadar olan yönlendirilebilir düzgün figürleri tespit etmesi ile Hecke gruplarının cinsi 101’e kadar olan normal alt gruplarını çalışmak mümkün olmuştur. 2011 yılında Conder cinsi 303’e kadar olan yönlendirilebilir düzgün figürleri sınıflandırmıştır. Ayrıca 2018 yılında Delen ve Cangül tarafından tanımlanan yeni bir değişmez olan Omega değişmezinin özelliklerinden bahsedilmiş ve Hecke gruplarının normal alt gruplarının rankını bulmak için kullanılan yöntem ile arasında bir bağıntı tespit edilmiştir. Tez beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde tez ile ilgili kısa bir bilgi verilmiş ve tezin oluşumunda kullanılan tanımlara, temel kavramlara, teoremlere yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde teze kaynak oluşturan tarihsel kuramlardan, üçüncü bölümde ise tezde elde edilen sonuçlara ulaşmak için kullanılan matematiksel kuramlardan, teoremlerden ve yöntemlerden söz edilmiştir. Dördüncü bölüm tezin ana bölümüdür. Bu bölümde tez ile ilgili elde edilen yeni bulgular, tanım, teorem ve çıkarımlar verilmiştir. Beşinci ve son bölümde ise tez ile ilgili tartışma ve sonuçlara değinilmiş, tezin yazımına kaynak olan yeni bulguların başka alanlarda kullanılabileceğinden bahsedilmiştir. Hecke in an article published in 1936 were determined with the help of a one-to-one correspondence between regular maps. This correspondence was described by Jones and Singerman in 1978. Since regular maps up to genus 7 were known until 1993, the signatures of normal subgroups of Hecke groups up to genus 7 were determined by Cangül, and their group structures and characteristics were studied. In 2001, Conder and Dobcsanyi classified the orientable regular maps up to genus 15. It was possible to study normal subgroups of Hecke groups up to genus 101 in 2006, with Conder's classification of orientable regular maps up to genus 101. In 2011, Conder classified all orientable regular maps up to genus 303. In addition, a new invariant, which is called Omega invariant, defined by Delen and Cangül in 2018, was defined and the properties of this invariant were mentioned and relations were determined between the rank of the normal subgroups of Hecke groups and some graph parameters. The thesis consists of five chapters. In the first chapter, a brief information about the thesis is given and the definitions, basic concepts and theorems used in the formation of the thesis are given. In the second part, the historical theories that constitute the source of the thesis, and in the third part, the mathematical theories, theorems and methods used to reach the results obtained in the thesis are mentioned. The fourth chapter is the main part of the thesis. New findings, definitions, theorems and inferences about the thesis are given in this section. In the fifth and last part, the discussion and conclusions about the thesis are mentioned, and it is mentioned that the new findings that are the source of the writing of the thesis can be used in other fields.

In the first chapter, the aim and scope of the thesis are stated. In the second part, some basic definitions and theorems that will be used in the continuation of the thesis are given. In the third part, the material and method are mentioned. In the fourth chapter, the findings are mentioned. Some subclasses of multivalued harmonic functions defined by sabordination in the open unit disk and coefficient bounds and distortion theorems for functions belonging to these classes are given. In addition, extremal functions and convolution properties are obtained for these classes. In the fifth chapter, which is the last chapter, a general examination of the thesis is made

Bu doktora tezinde 1936 yılında Erich Hecke tarafından tanımlanmış olan Hecke gruplarının normal alt gruplarının özellikleri ve birbiriyle ilişkileri incelenmiştir. 1994 yılında cinsi 1 ile 7 arasındaki tüm normal alt grupların sınıflandırılması yapılmıştı. Son yıllarda cinsi 101’e kadar olan tüm düzgün figürler listelendiğinden bu listelerdeki bilgiler yardımıyla Hecke gruplarının cinsi 101’e kadar olan normal alt gruplarını hesaplamak da mümkün olabilmiştir. 2019 yılında graflarla ilgili bir invaryant olarak tanımlanan omega invaryantı da birer graf olan düzgün figürlerin yeni özelliklerinin elde edilebilmesinde ve dolayısıyla Hecke gruplarının normal alt gruplarının çalışılmasında kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu tezde de omega invaryant yardımıyla çeşitli grup parametreleri arasında ilişkiler kurulmuştur. Bu tezde beş bölüm yer almaktadır. In this PhD thesis, the characteristics of the normal subgroups of Hecke groups which were defined by Erich Hecke in 1936, and the relations between them are examined. In 1994, all normal subgroups of genus 1 to 7 were classified. Since all regular figures up to genus 101 have been listed in recent years, it has been possible to calculate the normal subgroups of Hecke groups up to genus 101 with the help of the information in these lists. In 2019, the omega invariant, which was defined as an invariant related to graphs, started to be used in obtaining new properties of regular figures, which are graphs, and therefore in the study of normal subgroups of Hecke groups. In this thesis, relations between various group parameters were established with the help of omega invariant. There are five chapters in this thesis. In the first chapter, called the introduction, basic definitions, concepts and theories about normal subgroups of Hecke groups and regular figures, which will be used in the rest of the thesis, are given. In the second part, the theoretical foundations and in the third part, the materials and methods used are mentioned. In the fourth chapter, the obtained results are mentioned. In the fifth and last chapter, discussion and conclusion are given.

Bu tezde ele alınan graflarda renklendirme problemi, son yılların en hızlı gelişen alanlarından birisi olan graf teorinin önemli alt dallarından birisini oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, 1736 yılında ortaya atılan bir sorunun cevabının araştırılması sonucunda ortaya çıkan graf teorisinde, bir grafın köşelerinin, komşu iki köşenin aynı renkle boyanmaması şartıyla, en az kaç renkle boyanabileceği şeklinde de ifade edilebilecek olan renklendirme teorisi ele alınmıştır. Renklendirme teorisi, son yıllarda en hızlı gelişen matematik dalı olan graf teorinin önemli bir alanıdır. Köşelerin renklendirilmesi farklı yöntemlerle yapılabilir. Benzer şekilde kenarlar ve yüzleri de renklendirmek mümkündür. Tüm bu renklendirmeler, farklı uygulamalara sahiptir. Bir anlamda köşelerin renklendirilmesi, grafın etiketlendirmesi probleminin bir benzeridir. Bir grafın tüm renklendirmelerinin sayısına o grafın kromatik sayısı denilir. Renklendirme probleminde ortaya çıkan polinoma bir grafın kromatik polinomu denilecektir. Bu tezde çeşitli grafların kromatik polinomları ele alınmıştır. Beş bölümden oluşan bu tezin birinci bölümü giriş bölümüdür. Burada daha sonra kullanılacak olan kavramlar tanıtılmıştır. Ayrıca daha önce ispatlanmış kromatik polinom hesaplama yöntemlerine değinilmiştir. İkinci bölümde tezin kuramsal temelleri verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde tezde kullanılan materyal ve yöntemlerden bahsedilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde ise verilen bir bağlantılı grafı belli yöntemlerle daha küçük graflara ayırma yoluyla bu grafların kromatik polinomlarının hesaplanması için yeni yöntemler elde edilmiştir. Farklı şekillerde birleştirilen grafların, Birkhoff-Lewis teoremi, köşe ve kenardan ayırma gibi yollarla kromatik polinomlarına ulaşılmıştır. Beşinci ve son bölümde ise tezin bulguları tartışılmış ve genel bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. The problem of coloring graphs discussed in this thesis constitutes one of the important sub-branches of graph theory, one of the most growing areas in recent years. In this study, the theory of coloring, which can be expressed as the least how many colors the vertices of a graph can be painted, provided that two adjacent vertices are painted with different colors, in the graph theory that arose as a result of the search for the answer to a question posed in 1736, is discussed. Coloring graphs is an important field in graph theory, which is the fastest growing branch of mathematics in recent years. Coloring the corners can be done in different ways. Similarly, it is possible to color edges and faces. All these colorings have different applications. In a sense, the coloring of the vertices is analogous to the problem of labeling a graph. The number of all colorings of a graph is called the chromatic number of graph. The resulting polynomial in the coloring problem will be called the chromatic polynomial of a graph. In this thesis, chromatic polynomials of various graphs are discussed. The first chapter of this thesis consistsing of five chapters is the introductory part. In this section, the concepts that will be used later are introduced. In addition, the previously proven chromatic polynomial calculation methods are mentioned. In the second chapter, the theoretical foundations are given. In chapter 3, the materials and methods used in the thesis are mentioned. In the fourth chapter, by separating a given connected graph into smaller graphs with certain methods, new methods are obtained for calculating the chromatic polynomials of these graphs. The chromatic polynomials of graphs combined in different ways have been obtained by means of the Birkhoff-Lewis theorem, corner and edge separation. In the fifth and last part, the findings of the thesis were discussed and a general evaluation was made.

Bu tezde; Dezarg düzlemleri, Moufang düzlemleri ve bir Moufang-Klingenberg düzlem sınıfı üzerinde 6-şekillerle ilgili bilinen bazı sonuçların bir Cayley bölümlü cebiri olmak üzere girdileri m. dereceden plural cebirinden alınarak oluşturulan özel 3x3 matrislerle kurulan octonion düzlem sınıfı ile girdileri ( ya izomorf olmayacak biçimde tanımlanan) cebirinden alınarak oluşturulan matrislerle kurulan octonion düzlem sınıfı üzerindeki karşılıkları incelenmiştir. Her iki octonion düzlem sınıfının kolinasyonlar grubunun dörtgenler üzerinde geçişken olduğu sonucu yardımıyla bir 6-şekilin nın ya da nın bir tersinir elemanı ile temsil edilebileceği gösterilmiştir.Son olarak, girdileri dan alınarak oluşturulan octonion düzlem sınıfının nokta ve doğrularının matris gösterimleri kullanılarak bir projektif Klingenberg düzlem sınıfı üzerinde metrik olmayan bir uzaklık tanımı verilmiş ve bu uzaklık tanımı yardımı ile Öklid düzleminden iyi bilinen çember, elips ve hiperbol kavramlarının sonlu projektif düzlemlerdeki karşılıkları incelenmiştir. In this thesis; the correspondings of some known results related to 6-figures on the Dezarg planes, Moufang planes and a class of Moufang-Klingenberg plane are examined on the octonion plane class constructed by the special matrices of 3x3, whose entires are from plural algebra of order m and on the octonion plane class constructed by the matrices, whose entries are from (defined in the manner that will be not isomorphic to ). It is showed that a 6-figure can be represented by an inversible element of or with help of the result that group of collineations of both octonion plane classes are transitive on 4-gons.Finally, a non-metric distance definition is given on a projective Klingenberg plane class by using matrix representations of points and lines of the octonion plane class constructed by and with the help of this distance definition, correspondings of the concepts of circle, ellipse and hyperbola, which are well known from the Euclidean plane, are examined in finite projective planes.

In the first three chapters, the fundamental notions and some important theorems are given concerning algebraic and elliptic curves. Let E be an elliptic curve over Q described by y2 = x3 + Kx + L where K; L 2 Q. A set of rational points (xi; yi) 2 E(Q) for i = 1; 2; : : : ; k, is said to be a sequence of consecutive cubes on E if the x-coordinates xi’s of these points for i = 1; 2; : : : form consecutive cubes. In the fourth chapter of the thesis, we show the existence of an infinite family of elliptic curves containing a length-5-term sequence of consecutive cubes. Morever, it has been proved that these five rational points in E(Q) are linearly independent and hence the rank r of E(Q) is at least 5. In the fifth chapter of the thesis, given a set S of elements in a number field F, we discuss the existence of planar algebraic curves over F which possess rational points whose x-coordinates are exactly the elements of S. If the size jSj of S is either 4; 5, or 6, we exhibit infinite families of (twisted) Edwards curves and (general) Huff curves for which the elements of S are realized as the x-coordinates of rational points on these curves. This generalizes earlier work on progressions of certain types on some algebraic curves. A sequence of rational points on an algebraic planar curve is said to form an r- geometric progression sequence if either the abscissae or the ordinates of these points form a geometric progression sequence with ratio r. In the sixth chapter of the thesis, we prove the existence of infinitely many rational numbers r such that for each r there exist infinitely many r-geometric progression sequences on the unit circle x2+y2 = 1 of length at least 3. In the final chapter, the results of the thesis are discussed and some problems for the future work are given.

Tezde, oluşum tipi kısmi diferansiyel denklemler için B-Spline kolokasyon metodu, varyasyonel iterasyon, Laplace varyasyonel iterasyon, Adomian ayrışım ve Laplace- Adomian ayrışım metodları ele alındı. Üstel B-Spline kolokasyon metoduyla çözülmüş Gardner denklemi, Laplace-Adomian ayrışım ve Laplace varyasyonel iterasyon metodu ile çözülerek çözümlerin karşılaştırması yapıldı. B-spline kolokasyon metodu uygulandığında elde edilen lineer denklem sistemlerininin çözümü için çeşitli direk ve yinelemeli yöntemler anlatıldı. Elde edilen "AX=B" formundaki lineer denklem sistemlerinde A matrisinin büyük boyutlu ve seyrek matris olduğu durumlarda kullanılan bazı algoritmalar, gerekli olan kütüphaneler, yüksek başarımlı hesaplama sistemleri ve buna paralel olarak büyük boyutlu matrisler için literatürdeki hesaplamalar verildi. For evolution type partial differential equations, B-Spline collocation method, variational iteration, Laplace variational iteration, Adomian decomposition and Laplace-Adomian decomposition methods are discussed. The Gardner equation, which was solved by the exponential B-Spline collocation method, was solved by the Laplace-Adomian decomposition and Laplace variational iteration method, and the solutions were compared. Various direct and iterative methods are explained for the solution of linear equation systems obtained when the B-spline collocation method is applied. In the obtained linear equation systems in the form of "AX=B", some algorithms used in cases where the matrix A is large-sized and sparse matrix, the necessary libraries, highperformance computation systems and, in parallel, the calculations in the literature for large-sized matrices are given.

ℝ𝑛 Öklit uzayındaki altmanifoldlar diferansiyel geometrinin önemli konularından birini teşkil etmektedir. Alan olarak, eğriler, yüzeyler ve tüm hiperyüzeyleri kapsamaktadır. Altmanifoldlar bir 𝑥 izometrik daldırma fonksiyonu yardımıyla tanımlanır. Bu fonksiyon ℝ𝑛 nin vektör değerli fonksiyon olup altmanifoldun konum vektörü olarak bilinir. Konum vektörünün özellikleri ile ilgili bugüne kadar çeşitli çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Bu vektör teğet ve normal bileşenlerine ayrıştırıldığında herbir bileşenin farklı geometrik özellikleri ortaya çıkmaktadır. Altmanifoldların önemli bir vektörü de ortalama eğrilik vektörüdür. Bu vektör sayesinde altmanifoldları karakterize etmek mümkündür. Konum vektörünun normal bileşeni ile ortalama eğrilik vektörü lineer bağımlı ise bu altmanifoldlar kendisi büzüşen (self shrinker) olarak adlandırılır. Bu tür altmanifoldlar fizikte soliton teori için oldukça önemlidir. Eğer bu iki vektör alanının toplamı bir ksi vektör alanı olarak ifada edilirse bu tür altmanifold ksi-altmanifoldu olarak ifade edilir. Rotasyon ve toroidal altmanifoldları modern diferansiyel geometride önemli bir yere sahiptir. Özellikle ℝ3 de rotasyon yüzeyleri bilgisayar destekli geometrik tasarımda oldukca onemlidir. 4-boyutlu Öklit uzayında rotasyon yüzeyleri zengin bir sınıf oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada ℝ𝑛 Öklit uzayındaki rotasyon altmanifoldlarının ksi-altmanifoldu olmaları durumu ele alınmıştır. Submanifolds in ℝ𝑛 Euclidean space constitute one of the important topics of differential geometry. In this area, it includes curves, surfaces, and all hypersurfaces. Submanifolds are defined with the aid of an isometric immersion 𝑥. This function is a vector valued function on ℝ𝑛 and is known as the position vector of the submanifold. Various studies have been carried out on the properties of the position vector. When this vector is decomposed into its tangent and normal components, different geometric properties of each component emerge. An important vector of submanifolds is the mean curvature vector. Thanks to this vector, it is possible to characterize submanifolds. If the normal component of the position vector and the mean curvature vector are linner dependent, these submanifolds are called self-shrinking. Such submanifolds are very important for soliton theory in physics. If the sum of these two vector fields is expressed as a xi vector field then the submanifold is expressed as the xi-submanifold. Rotation and toroidal submanifolds have an important place in modern differential geometry. Especially in ℝ3, rotation surfaces are very important in computer aided geometric design. In 4-dimensional Euclidean space, rotation surfaces form a richclass. In this study, the case of rotation submanifolds in ℝ𝑛 Euclidean space as xi-submanifolds is discussed.

Bu tez 4 bölümden oluşmaktadır. Fibonacci sayıları ve Tribonacci sayıları arasında kurulmuş ilişkiler ele alınmış ve çeşitli özdeşliklere yer verilmiştir. Giriş bölümünde Fibonacci ve Tribonacci sayıları hakkında ön bilgiler verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise Fibonacci ve Tribonacci sayı dizileri tanımlanmış, bu sayı dizilerini kullanarak elde edilen karakteristik denklem tanımları ve elde edilişleri, binet formülleri ile ilgili bilgiler, altın ve gümüş oran kavramları ve elde edilişleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise Fibonacci ve Tribonacci sayılarının yardımıyla elde edilen özdeşliklere yer verilmiştir. Bu bölümün sonunda ise kendi çalışmama ait konudan kısaca bahsedilmiştir. Dördüncü bölüm ise sonuç bölümüdür. This thesis consists of 4 chapters. The relationships established between Fibonacci numbers and Tribonacci numbers are discussed and various identities are included. In the introduction, preliminary information about Fibonacci and Tribonacci numbers is given. In the second chapter, Fibonacci and Tribonacci numbers sequence are defined, definitions and derivations of characteristic equations obtained by using these number sequences, information about binet formula, information about the concepts of gold and silver rations and how they are obtained is given. In the third chapter, identities obtained with the help of Fibonacci and Tribonacci numbers are given. At the end of this chapter, the subject of my work is briefly mentioned. The fourth chapter is the conclusion section.

Bu çalışmada, graf teorinin en ilginç ve geniş uygulama alanına sahip olan türü olan yönlü graflar ele alınmıştır. Başta elektrik devreleri olmak üzere bir çok grafta köşelerin modellediği nesneler arasında tek taraflı bağıntı veya ilişkiler olabilir ve bu durumda klasik graflar yerine yönlü graflar kullanılmaktadır. Bu tez 8 bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm giriş bölümü olup bu bölümde graflarla ilgili temel kavramlar hatırlatılmış ve tezin ilerleyen bölümlerinde kullanılacak olan bazı sonuçlar verilmiştir. Ayrıca sık kullanılan graf türleri ve temel özellikleri hatırlatılmıştır. İkinci bölümde genel anlamda yönlendirilmiş graflar ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca yönlü, etiketlenmiş ve etiketlenmemiş graf tanımları ve temel özellikleri de verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde yönlü grafların karakteristik polinomları elde edilmiştir. Altıncı bölümde kenar ekleme ve benzeri büyütme işlemlerinin karakteristik polinoma etkisi ele alınmıştır. Yedinci bölümde yönlü grafları birleştirme ve ayrıştırmanın karakteristik polinoma etkisi ele alınmıştır. Sekizinci ve son bölüm, Sonuç bölümüdür ve kısa bir değerlendirme verilmiştir. In this thesis, directed graphs which form the most interesting type of graphs with a large application area are studied. In many graphs like electrical circuits, there may be one way relations between the vertices modelling things in the problem and in such cases, directed graphs are used instead of graphs. This thesis consists of 8 chapters. The first chapter is the introductory chapter and the fundamental notions are recalled here together with the results which will be needed in later chapters. Also some frequently used graph classes and their fundamental properties are given. In the second chapter, the notion of directed graphs are considered. Further, the oriented, labeled and unlabeled graphs are recalled. In the third chapter, the characteristic polynomials of directed graphs are studied. While characteristic polynomials of classical graphs consists of 0 and 1s, the characteristic polynomials of directed graphs consists of 0, 1 and -1s. In the fourth and fifth chapters, characteristic polynomials of directed and oriented graphs are studied. In the sixth and seveth chapters, the effects of edge addition and similar operations on characteristic polynomials and the effects of joining or seperating graphs are studied. In the eighth and last chapter, some conclusions are summarized.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, graf teorinin en önemli uygulama alanlarından birisi olan graf enerjisi konusunda yeni sonuçlar elde etmektir. Graf enerjisi, son 40 yılda ortaya çıkan ve hızla gelişen bir alandır ve lineer cebir metodlarını kullanarak graflar hakkında matematiksel sonuçlar elde etmeye ve bu sonuçlar yardımıyla kimyasal moleküllerin enerjileri hakkında yeni sonuçlar elde etmeye yarar. Bu tez sekiz bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm giriş bölümü olarak düzenlenmiştir. Temel tanım ve sonraki bölümlerde kullanılacak bazı önemli kavram ve sonuçlar bu bölümde hatırlatılmıştır. İkinci bölümde graflarve grafların enerjileri hakkında kuramsal temellerinden bahsedilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde tez boyunca kullanılacak olan materyal ve yöntemler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde bazı özel graf türleri için spektral polinomlar oluşturulmuş, oluşturulan bu polinomlar için indirgeme bağıntıları geliştirilip bu grafların enerjilerini veren formüller elde edilmiştir. Beşinci bölümde ise, dördüncü bölümde oluşturulan enerji formülleri için indirgeme bağıntıları oluşturulmuş bunun yanında hesaplamaları kolaylaştıracak bazı alternatif enerji indirgeme bağıntıları da verilmiştir. Altıncı bölümde graflar üzerinde yeni birleşim operasyonları, yedinci bölümde ise bir graf için alt bölüm operasyonları tanımlanmış olup bu bölümlerde, elde edilen yeni graflar için grafların polinomlarını, polinomlar için indirgeme bağıntılarını ve grafların enerjilerini veren yeni yöntemler geliştirilmiştir. Son bölüm olan sekizinci bölümde ise elde edilen bulgu ve sonuçlara yer verilmiştir. The aim of this work is to obtain new and original results on graph energy which is one of the most important application areas of graph theory. Graph energy appeared and fastly developed in the last 40 years. By means of linear algebraic methods, we can obtain mathematical values on the graphs and these values help us to comment on the molecular energies of the molecules under study. This PhD thesis consists of 6 chapters. The first section is organized as the Introduction. Fundamental notions and results which will be needed later on in the thesis are recalled here. In the second chapter, the material and methods used in the thesis are mentioned. In the third chapter, spectral polynomials of some specific graph classes are constructed and recurrence relations for these polynomials are obtained to find some formulae for the energy of these graph classes. In the fourth chapter, recurrence relations for the energy formulae obtained in the third chapter are established and some alternative energy recurrence relations to ease the calculations are given. In the fifth chapter, some new union operations on graphs, in the sixth chapter, subdivision operations for a graph are introduced and in these chapters, new techniques giving the spectral polynomials, their recurrence formulae and graph energy are established.

Bu çalışmada 1-indeksli 3-boyutlu ve 1-indeksli 4-boyutlu Lorentz uzayında Timelike ve Spacelike eğrilerde teğet, normal, birinci binormal ve ikinci binormal vektör alanlarının Timelike ve Null olma durumlarına göre bu eğrilerin Frenet çatılarının alt uzaylarında yatıp yatmadığı araştırılmıştır ve bu incelemelere ait bir sınıflandırılması yapılmıştır. The aim of this study is to investigate whether Timelike and Spacelike curves in the 1- index 3-dimensional and 1-index 4-dimensional Lorentz space are lie in the subspaces of their Frenet frames, in accordance with the vector fields of tangent, normal, first binormal and second binormal, state of being Timelike and Null and a classification has been made concerning these investigations.

Bu doktora tezinde çok sayıda uygulamaları olan topolojik graf indekslerinin geniş bir alt sınıfı olan çarpımsal topolojik graf indeksleri çalışılmıştır. Bu tezde 5 bölüm yer almaktadır. Giriş adı verilen ilk bölümde tezin geri kalanında gerekli olan ve graflarla ilgili temel tanım ve kavramlar hatırlatılmıştır. İkinci bölümde kuramsal temellerden, üçüncü bölümde ise materyal ve yöntemden bahsedilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde bulgulardan bahsedilmiştir. In this PhD thesis, multiplicative topological graph indices which form a large subclass of topological graph indices having lots of applications. This thesis has 5 chapters. In the first chapter called Introduction, the fundamental notions and results which will be needed in the rest of the thesis are recalled. Theoretical foundations are mentioned in the second chapter, materials and methods are mentioned in the third chapter. In the fourth chapter, the findings are mentioned. Topological graph indices, multiplicative topological graph indices, which are the main subject of the thesis, and some basic features are mentioned in this chapter. In adddition, subdivision, r-subdivision, Narumi-Katayama indices of double graphs, basic features and general results of multiplicative geometric arithmetic indices, lower-upper bounds are given and the effects of edge addition on these indices are calculated. Finally, arguments and conclusion are mentioned in the fifth and last chapter.

Bu çalışmada kobalans sayılarının genelleştirilmişi olan 𝑡-kobalans sayıları ele alınmış ve bu sayılar ile Lucas 𝑡-kobalans sayılarının genel terimleri elde edilmiştir. Birinci bölümde balans sayıları ve kobalans sayıları hakkında bazı önemli kavramlara ve gösterimlere yer verilmiş ve literatürde bu sayılar ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalardan bahsedilmiştir. İkinci bölümde Fibonacci, Lucas, Pell ve Pell-Lucas tam sayı dizileri hakkında genel bir bilgi verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde materyal ve yöntem belirtilmiştir. Dördüncü bölüm tezin orijinal kısmı olup bu bölümde kobalans sayılarının genelleştirilmişi olan 𝑡-kobalans sayıları ele alınmıştır. Lucas 𝑡-kobalans ve 𝑡-kobalansır sayılarının genel terimlerinin elde edilebilmesi için ilk olarak 2𝑥2−𝑦2=2𝑡2−1 Pell denkleminin tüm pozitif tam sayı çözümleri kümesi belirlenmiş ve bu küme yardımıyla 𝑡-kobalans, Lucas 𝑡-kobalans ve 𝑡-kobalansır sayılarının genel terimleri elde edilmiştir. In this thesis, the general terms of all 𝑡-cobalancing numbers, Lucas 𝑡-cobalancing numbers and 𝑡-cobalancers are determined. In the first section, some notations and definitions on balancing and cobalancing num-bers are given. Further some new results obtained recently on balancing numbers and cobalancing numbers are given. In the second section, general information on Fibonacci, Lucas, Pell and Pell-Lucas integer sequences are given. In the third section, the material and method are given. In the fourth section, which is the original part of the thesis, the general terms of all 𝑡-cobalancing numbers, Lucas 𝑡-cobalancing numbers and 𝑡-cobalancers are given. For this reason, we first determined the set of all positive integer solutions of the Pell equa-tion 2𝑥2−𝑦2=2𝑡2−1 by using its set of representatives. Later we determined the general terms of all 𝑡-cobalancing numbers, Lucas 𝑡-cobalancing numbers and 𝑡-cobalancers. The problem is considered in three cases: 𝑡=1 and 2𝑡2−1 is a perfect square or not for 𝑡≥2. In the last section, result is given.

The Chen–Lee–Liu equation in birefringent fibers is examined to uncover quite important optical solitons of its. Dark, bright and also singular solitons in additionally singular periodic solutions are yield by trial equation technique with parameter restrictions.

Bu tez çalışmasında dördüncü mertebeden EE ve MEE lineer olmayan kısmi diferensiyel denklem modellemeleri için çeşitli çözüm yöntemleri ele alındı. EE denkleminin Lie grup dönüşümleri altında uzanımları hesaplanarak sonsuz küçük simetri üreteçleri bulundu. Bulunan sonsuz küçük simetri üreteçleri yardımıyla adi diferensiyel denklemlere indirgemeleri yapıldı. Aynı denkleme (𝐺′/𝐺 ) yöntemi uygulanarak gezen dalga çözümleri hiperbolik, trigonometrik ve rasyonel fonksiyonlar olarak ifade edildi. EE denklemine son olarak 𝐹 -açılım yöntemi uygulanarak Jacobi eliptik fonksiyon çözümleri ve buradan da trigonometrik, hiperbolik çözümler elde edildi. Daha sonra MEE denklemine, bir diferensiyel denklemin tam çözümünün integrasyon işlemi ile elde edilebileceği, düşüncesine dayanan deneme denklem yöntemi ve yine aynı denkleme 𝑡𝑎𝑛 (𝜑(𝜉)/2) yöntemi uygulanarak çözümler elde edildi. Ayrıca, Maple programı kullanılarak, bulunan çözümlerin davranışını görmek için bazı grafik simülasyonlar verildi. In this thesis, various solution methods for fourth order EE and MEE nonlinear partial differential equation modeling were discussed. Infinitesimal symmetry generators were found by calculating the elongations of the EE equation by Lie group transformations. With the help of the found infinitesimal symmetry generators , it was made reductions to the ordinary differential equations. Traveling wave solutions were expressed as hyperbolic, trigonometric and rational functions by applying the (𝐺′/𝐺) method to the same equation. Finally, we obtined to the trigonometric and hyperbolic solutions from Jacobi elliptic function solutions were obtained by applying the 𝐹- expansion method to the EE equation. Then based on the trial equation method apply on the MEE equation, the exact solution of a differential equation can be obtained by the process of integration and solutions were obtained by applying 𝑡𝑎𝑛 (𝜑(𝜉)/2) method to the same equation. In addition, some graphical simulations were made using the Maple program to see the behavior of the found solutions.

The aim of this thesis is to characterize the rotational λ-hypersurfaces in Euclidean spaces and the λ-hypersurfaces given by the Monge patch. This thesis consists of 5 chapters. The first section is the introduction. Second chapter consist of some basic definitions which will be use in the other chapters. In the third section, the calculations made so far regarding the hyper surfaces of ℝ𝑛+1 to be soliton, self-similar and λ-hypersurface are given. The fourth section consists of the findings and consists of two sub-sections. First, the rotational hypersurfaces with ℝ𝑛+1 are second, and the hypersurfaces given by the monge patch in ℝ𝑛+1 are discussed. The conditions for these hypersurfaces to be compact and λ-hypersurfaces were examined and some original results were obtained. In addition, some examples supporting these results are given. In the fifth section, the results obtained in other sections are discussed. The results and suggestions are expressed.

Bu tezde, bazı oluşum tipi ((1)+(1), (2)+(1) ve (3)+(1) boyutlu) lineer olmayan reel ve kompleks kısmi türevli diferansiyel denklemler ele alındı. Bu denklemler çeşitli bilim dallarındaki birçok fiziksel olayı betimleyen lineer olmayan matematiksel modellerdir. Söz konusu denklemlerin analitik tam çözümleri elde edilmeye çalışıldı. Bu bağlamda literatürde yoğun bir şekilde incelenmekte ve geliştirilmekte olan exp , Kudryashov ve tanh fonksiyon metotları ele alındı. Bu yöntemler göz önüne alınan fiziksel modellere ayrı ayrı tatbik edildi. Bunun yanında lineer olmayan denklemlerin bilineerleştirilmesine dayanan Hirota yaklaşımı incelendi. Bu yaklaşımdaki bazı zorlukları hafifletmek için önerilen basitleştirilmiş Hirota metodu kullanılarak çoklu soliton çözümlerin nasıl elde edildiği araştırıldı. Çalışmamızın son kısmında ise denklemin mertebesi, derecesi veya lineerlik özelliklerine herhangi bir kısıtlama yapılmasına gerek bırakmayan Lie grup yaklaşımı ele alındı. Elde edilen sonuçların kıyaslamaları, çözüm tiplerinin fiziksel anlamları ve çözümlerin grafiksel yapıları gösterildi. In this thesis, some evolution type ((1)+(1), (2)+(1) and (3)+(1) dimensional) nonlinear real and complex partial differential equations are considered. These equations are nonlinear mathematical models that describe many physical phenomena in various disciplines. Analytical exact solutions of these equations were tried to be obtained. In this context, Kudryashov and tanh function methods, which are extensively studied and developed in the literature, are discussed. These methods were applied separately to the physical models considered. In addition, the Hirota approach based on the bilinearization of nonlinear equations was examined. In order to alleviate some of the difficulties in this approach, we investigated how multiple soliton solutions were obtained by using the proposed simplified Hirota method. In the last part of our study, Lie group approach, which does not require any restriction on the order, degree or linearity properties of the equation, is discussed. Comparisons of the obtained results, physical meanings of the solution types and graphical structures of the solutions were also demonstrated.

The aim of this thesis is to characterize the Euclidean rotational surfaces with their Jacobi and Simon operators. This thesis consists of 5 chapters. The first section is the introduction. Second chapter consist of some basic definitions which will be use in the other chapters. In the third chapter, calculations related to weak biharmonic submanifolds in ℝ𝑛 are given and the Jacobian mean curvature submanifolds are discussed. In the fourth chapter, rotation surfaces and Delaunay surfaces in ℝ3 are considered. Further, general rotation surfaces and rotation surfaces of 1. type and 2. type in ℝ4 are discussed. The Jacobi and Simon operators of them were investigated. The conditions of the specified surfaces to be weak biharmonic have been examined and some original results have been obtained. In addition, some examples supporting these results are given. In the fifth section, the results obtained in other sections are discussed and the results and suggestions are expressed.

Üçüncü bölümde ℝ3 teki paraboloid yüzeyi ile bir keyfi parametreli yüzeyin konvolüsyonu ile ilgili yapılan hesaplamalar verilmiştir. Ayrıca bu yüzeylerin Gauss eğrilikleri hesaplanması gösterilmiştir. Bununla birlikte konvolüsyon yüzeyinin Gauss eğriliği karakterize edilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde ℝ3 teki paraboloid yüzeyi sırasıyla Monge yaması ile verilen graf yüzeyi ve dönel yüzey ile konvolüsyonları incelenmiştir. Orijinal sonuç olarak bu konvolüsyon yüzeylerinin Gauss eğrilikleri hesaplanmıştır. Ayrıca bu sonuçları destekleyici bazı örnekler verilmiştir. In this study, the convolution of two surfaces in R^3 is studied by the use of two Minkowski sums of two convex objects. This thesis consists of 5 chapters. The first chapter is the introduction. In the second chapter, theoretical foundations for the next part are given. In the third chapter, the calculations related to the convolution of the surface with an arbitrary parameter and the paraboloid surface in R^3 are given. In addition, the calculation of Gaussian curvature of these surfaces is shown. However, Gaussian curvature of the convolution surface was characterized. In the fourth chapter, the paraboloid surface in R^3 is examined by the graf surface and the rotational surface given by the monge patch. As a result, Gaussian curvatures of these convolution surfaces were calculated. In addition, some examples are given to support these results. In the fifth chapter, the results obtained in the other chapters are discussed and the results and suggestions are expressed.

Birçok çalışmadan faydalanarak oluşturulan bu tez toplam dört bölümdür. This thesis, which has been written by means of a number of existing literature, consists of four chapters. In the first section, which is the introduction, general information about special number sequences including Lucas and Tribonacci number sequences which appear in the title of the thesis together with some definitions and information about the polynomials obtained using the terms of these special number sequences are given. In the second part, repetition relations of Lucas and Tribonacci numbers and examples of identities obtained with the help of these numbers are given. In the third chapter, Lucas and Tribonacci polynomials and their generating functions are given. The fourth part is the conclusion part..

Bu çalışmanın amacı hemen hemen kuadratik manifold örnekleri ve bu manifoldların özellikleri ile ilgili sonuçları vermektir. Bu tez beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölüm giriş bölümüdür. İkinci bölümde sonraki bölümde kullanılacak olan temel kavramlar verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde altın sayı kavramı ve metalik yapılar ile donatılmış diferensiyellenebilir manifoldlar tanıtılmıştır. Ayrıca katlı çarpım manifoldları tanımlanmış ve özellikleri verilmiştir. Son olarak hemen hemen kuadratik -yapıları tanıtılmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde hemen hemen kuadratik metrik -yapı tanıtılarak katlı çarpım manifoldunın bir kuadratik metrik -yapıya sahip olduğu gösterilmiştir. Bununla birlikte hemen hemen kuadratik yapısı ile verilen diferensiyellenebilir her M manifoldunun kendisiyle uyumlu bir Riemann metriğinin var olduğu ispat edilmiştir. The aim of this thesis is to give the results about the almost quadratic -manifold examples and properties of these manifolds. This thesis consists five chapters. First chapter is introduction. Second chapter consists of some basic definitions which will be use in the other chapters. In the third chapter, the concept of gold number and differentiable manifolds endowed with metallic structures are introduced. In addition, warped product manifolds are defined and their properties are given. Finally, almost quadratic -structures are introduced. In the fourth chapter, almost quadratic metric structure is introduced and it is shown that there is a quadratic metric -structure on warped product manifold . However, it has been proved that every differentiable manifold M endowed with an almost quadratic structure admits associated Riemannian metric. In addition, the quadratic -hypersurfaces of the local metallic Riemannian manifold have been studied and related studies have been made. Finally, the fifth chapter is the conclusion section.

The first section is the introduction. In this section, it is introduced from the history of Wintgen inequalities. In the second chapter, it is introduced basic definitions and formulas. In the third chapter, some basic concepts about submanifolds theory are introducted. In the fourth chapter, Wintgen inequality which is one of the intrinsic and extrinsic invariant relations and which is known as the DDVV will be given. The fifth chapter has two basic parts. The first subsection is consists of the statistical structuries and the second subsection is devoted the statistical submanifolds. The almost Kenmotsu statistical submanifolds is introduced in the six chapter. The soliton solutions are extracted from the Lakshmanan-Porsezian-Daniel model by the aid of modified simple equation method. There are three forms of fibers that are studied and they represent Kerr law, parabolic law and anti-cubic law. The implementation of the scheme yields dark and singular soliton solutions to the model. The constraint conditions hold these solitons in place. This paper obtains optical soliton solutions to the Kundu Eckhaus equation with general coefficients. The Riccati Bernoulli's sub-ODE method as well as Kudryashov's scheme are employed to obtain soliton solutions to the model. This generalized earlier reported result of the model with specific coefficients. Subsequently, the multiplier approach was utilized to secure a conserved quantity with the bright soliton solution that was reported earlier. Bu tez çalışmasında Öklid uzayındaki conchoid eğrileri ve yüzeyleri ele alınmıştır. Bu tez dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm giriş bölümüdür. İkinci bölümde bu çalışmanın ilerleyen bölümlerinde kullanılacak olan Öklid uzayındaki eğri ve yüzeylerle ilgili bazı temel tanımlar ve kavramlar ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde düzlemde ve 3-boyutlu uzayda conchoid eğrileri tanımlanmıştır. Ayrıca bu eğrilerin eğrilikleri hesaplanıp bunlarla ilgili sonuçlar verilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre bazı örnekler verilip grafikleri çizdirilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde 3 ve 4-boyutlu Öklid uzayında conchoidal yüzeyler çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca 4-boyutlu uzayda rotasyonel yüzeyler ve meridyen yüzeylerinin conchoidal yüzey olması örnek olarak verilmiştir. In this thesis, conchoid curves and surfaces in Euclidean space are considered. This thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction. The second chapter contains some well-known definitions and terms about curves and surfaces in Euclidean space which will be used in other chapters. In the third chapter, conchoid curves are defined on plane and 3- dimensional Euclidean space. Furthermore, the curvatures of these curves are calculated and the results are given. According to the results, some examples are given and plot their graphics. In the fourth chapter, conchoidal surfaces are studied in 3 and 4- dimensional Euclidean space. Firstly, in the 3- dimensional Euclidean space, the results of the curvature of the conchoidal surface are obtained. Also, the results are given of the surface of revolution obtained by rotating a planar conchoid curve in 3- dimensional space and are plotted the graphics of the surface. Finally, the definition of the conchoidal surface in the 4- dimensional Euclidean space is given. Also some results are obtained that these surfaces become flat and minimal. In the last part the rotational surfaces in the 4- dimensional space and the meridian surfaces are conchoidal surfaces are given as examples.

Bu çalışmada PSL(2, R) ve bu grubun ayrık alt gruplarının özellikleri ele alınmıştır. Bu grup ve hiperbolik geometri arasındaki ilişki üzerinde durulmuştur. PSL(2, R) grubunun ayrık alt grupları olan Fuchs grupları ve modüler grubun cebirsel yapıları ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde, daha sonra ihtiyaç duyulacak olan bazı tanım ve teoremler verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde PSL(2, R) grubunun özellikleri ele alınmış ve bu grubun üst yarı düzlem üzerindeki hareketi incelenmiştir. Bu bölümde hiperbolik geometrinin üst yarı düzlem modeli oluşturulmuş ve PSL(2, R) deki dönüşümlerin hiperbolik uzaklığı ve hiperbolik alanı değişmez bıraktığı görülmüştür. Modüler grubun üreteçleri, temel bölgesi ve temsili verilmiştir. In this work, the discussed the properties of the group PSL(2, R) and its discrete subgroups. We considered the relation between this group and hyperbolic geometry. Moreover, we studied algebraic structures of Fuchsian groups which are discrete subgroups of PSL(2, R) and modular group. In the second chapter, some definitions and theorems which will be used later in the work are given. In the fourth chapter, the properties of PSL(2, R) are considered and the action of this group on the upper half plane is studied. In this chapter the upper half plane model of the hyperbolic geometry is constructed. It is seen that the hyperbolic distance and the hyperbolic area are invariant under transformations of PSL(2, R) In the fifth chapter, Fuchsian groups, which are the discrete subgroups of PSL(2, R) are considered. The concept of fundamental regions and tessellations for these groups are given. The quotient spaces of these groups are constructed. The relations between quotient spaces of these groups and compact Riemann surfaces are studied. In the last chapter, the modular group is considered. The generators, fundamental region and representation of the modular group are given.

Birinci bölümde ilk olarak Fibonacci sayılarının tarihinden bahsedilmiş ve Fibonacci sayıları ile Altın oran kavramı tanımlanmıştır.Tezin ikinci bölümünde Fibonacci sayılarının sağladığı bazı önemli özdeşlikler verilmiş ve bu sayıların kullanıldığı bazı problemler ele alınmıştır. Fibonacci sayılarının ve Altın oranın öneminden bahsedilmiştir.Tezin üçüncü bölümünde Pascal üçgeni ve Binom açılımına ilişkin temel kavramlar verilmiştir. This thesis consists of five chapters. In the first chapter, the historical background of Fibonacci numbers and the definitions of both Fibonacci numbers and the Golden ratio are given. In the second chapter of the thesis, some well known identities that Fibonacci numbers satisfy and the problems that can be solved by using Fibonacci numbers are shown. The importance of Fibonacci numbers and the Golden ratio is mentioned.In the third chapter of the thesis, the basic statements about Pascal's Triangle and Binomial Expansion are given. After that the relation between Fibonacci numbers and Pascal's Triangle is found.In the forth chapter of the thesis, Hosoya's triangle and Catalan triangle, which have similar structures as Pascal's triangle are defined. In this study consisting of four sections, the relations between Fibonacci numbers and Balancing numbers are handled and espacially various identities related to Fibonacci and Lucas numbers are given. The main problem in this work is whether or not the balancing numbers exist within Fibonacci numbers.In the Introduction, preliminary information about the subjects in the thesis is given.In Section 2, Lucas numbers and Fibonacci numbers are defined. At the same time, the life of Leonardo Fibonacci is mentioned and the occurence of Fibonacci numbers is explained. The relation between Fibonacci numbers and the golden ratio is mentioned and a few equations together with some theorems are given.In Section 3, balancing numbers are defined and several identities and theorems on them are given. At the end of the chapter, the cobalancing numbers are defined similarly to the balancing numbers and it is shown that the only Fibonacci number included in this sequence is 1.Section 4 is the conclusion part. 37

Bu tezde, Öklidyen olmayan düzlemlerden önemli biri olan, hiperbolik düzlem kavramına ait temel bilgiler, bazı hiperbolik düzlem modelleri hakkında literatürde yer alan bilgiler ile bunlardan esinlenilerek elde edilen Hiperbolik-Klingenberg düzlemleri ile ilgili yapılan bazı çalışmalar özet olarak sunulmuştur. Öklid düzleminden elde edilen hiperbolik düzlem modelleri olan Poincaré modelleri, Sandler’in hiperbolik düzlem modeli ve Sandler’in modelinin genişletilmişi olan model için bir bölüm ayrılmış ve bu modellerin kuruluşu detaylarıyla verilmiştir. Ayrıca, projektif altdüzlemler ve hiperbolik düzlemler üzerine yapılan bazı çalışmalar incelenmiş olup sonlu bir projektif düzlemden Baer alt düzlemi olmayan bir projektif alt düzlemin tüm doğrularının üzerindeki noktalarla birlikte atılmasıyla elde edilen yapı tanıtılmış ve bu yapının hangi şartlar altında bir hiperbolik düzlem belirteceği verilmiştir. Son olarak bir Projektif-Klingenberg düzlemden m adet özel doğru sınıfının üzerindeki noktalarla birlikte atılması sonucu elde edilen yapının Hiperbolik-Klingenberg düzlem belirtme şartlarının tespit edildiği ve bu yapının bazı sayısal özelliklerinin ortaya konulduğu bir çalışmada elde edilen sonuçlar tanıtılmıştır. In this thesis, basic information about hyperbolic planes which are one of the important non-Euclidean planes, some information about hyperbolic plane models and some studies about Hyperbolic-Klingenberg planes which are constructed as a generalization of hyperbolic planes are presented briefly. Poincaré models which are the hyperbolic plane models obtained from the Euclidean plane, hyperbolic plane models of Sandler, the extension of the Sandler's model and the constructions of these models are given in detail in one chapter. In addition, some studies on projective subplanes and hyperbolic planes have been examined and the structure obtained by deleting all lines together with their points of projective non- Baer subplane from a finite projective plane has been introduced and the conditions under which remaining structure will indicate a hyperbolic plane have been given. Finally, results of Hyperbolic-Klingenberg models constructed by deleting a certain number m of equivalence classes of lines with their points from a finite Projective-Klingenberg plane are given

Connections are studied in the third chapter. Harmonic and biharmonic maps between two Riemannian manifolds are introduced in section four. In section five, using the biharmonicity equation, it is found that a biharmonic hypersurface which has ∫ ‖𝐻‖2𝑣𝑔 < ∞ 𝑀 condition in a Riemannian manifold of nonpositive Ricci curvature is minimal, where 𝐻 is the mean curvature of hypersurface. Then, biharmonic submersions which are a kind of biharmonic Riemannian maps are studied from a three-dimensional Riemannian manifold onto a surface.

İlerleyen dalga çözümü, knoidal dalga çözümü, sinoidal dalga çözümü, bir soliton çözümü, iki soliton çözümü, üç soliton çözümü, kompleksiton çözümü, çoklu soliton çözümü, lump tipi çözümü, rasyonel çözümü, soliton çözümü, poziton çözümü, negaton çözümü, rasyonel-soliton-poziton etkileşim çözümü ve kuvvet seri çözümleri elde edilmiştir. Bu çözümlerin elde edilmesi için en basit denklem metodu, yeni test fonksiyon metodu, çoklu eksponansiyel fonksiyon metodu, geliştirilmiş rasyonel fonksiyon metodu, lump ve lump tipi çözüm algoritması, Wronskian determinant algoritması, kuvvet seri metodu ve Lie simetri yaklaşımları tüm adımlarıyla birlikte sunulmuştur. In this thesis study, the exact solutions to evolution type nonlinear partial differential equations have been investigated. The exact solutions to (1+1)-dimensional an extended Korteweg–de Vries equation, (2+1)-dimensional Sawada-Kotera equation, a new extended (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equation, (2+1)-dimensional non-local Ito equation, (2+1)- dimensional the breaking soliton equation and seventh-order time fractional Sawada-Kotera-Ito equation have been obtained. The traveling wave solution, cnoidal wave solution, snoidal wave solution, one soliton solution, two soliton solution, three soliton solution, complexiton solution, multi-soliton solution, lump-type solution, rational solution, soliton solution, positon solution, negaton solution, rational-soliton-positon interaction solution and power series solutions have been obtained. In order to obtain these solutions, the simplest equation method, novel test function method, multiple exp-function method, extended transformed rational function method, lump and lump-type solution algorithm, Wronskian determinant algorithm, power series method and Lie symmetry approaches together with all the steps have been presented.

Bu tez çalışmasında, genelleştirilmiş Q-holomorf fonksiyonlar teorisinden türetilmiş matris formda L[w] := w(z; t) + a(z)w(z; t) + b(z)w(z; t) + c(z)w(z; t) + d(z)w(z; t) pseudoparabolik denklemin çözümü için genel integral temsiller elde edilmiştir. Burada w(z; t) = {Wij(z; t)}, m x s tipinde kompleks değerli bir matristir. a; b; c ve d katsayıları ise mm tipinde Q ile değişmeli kompleks değerli matrislerdir. Ayrıca elde edilen integral temsilleri vasıtası ile matris formda pseudoparabolik denklemler için Riemann sınır değer problemi tanımlanmış¸ ve negatif olmayan indeks için probleme ait çözümler sunulmuştur. In this thesis, general integral representations are obtained for pseudoparabolic equation in matrix form L[w] := w(z; t) + a(z)w(z; t) + b(z)w(z; t) + c(z)w(z; t) + d(z)w(z; t) which derived by generalized Q-holomorphic functions theory. Here w(z; t) = {Wij(z; t)}, is an mxs complex valued matrix. The coefficients a, b, c and d are mxm complex matrix commuting with Q. Furthermore, the Riemann boundary value problem is defined by means of obtained integral representations and solutions to the problem are presented for non-negative index. The first section of the thesis is reserved for introduction and a summary of the literature is given. In the second section, information about the Q-holomorphic functions which are to be used in later sections is given. In the following sections, obtained general solution representations for pseudoparabolic equation in matrix form which formed the subject of this thesis are given and solutions of Riemann boundary value problem are obtained for non-negative index.

The current paper studies pretty important optical solitons namely bright, dark as well as singular solitons in birefringent fibers having four-wave mixing through the governing model known as Kundu–Eckhaus equation which is coupled system and is modeled for soliton transmission along birefringent fibers. In order to get such solitons, the modified simple equation algorithm is employed. Also, singular-periodic solutions in addition to optical solitons are revealed by reversed restriction circumstances.

Bu tezde elemanları bir bölümlü halkadan seçilen karesel olmayan, alterne, simetrik ve hermityen matrislerin oluşturdukları dört uzay (geometrik yapı) incelenmiştir ve bu dört geometrik yapının bazı dönüşümler altında invaryant kalan özellikleri tespit edilmiştir. In this thesis, four spaces (geometrical structure) formed by the non-square, alternate, symmetrical and hermitian matrices whose elements are selected from a division ring are examined and the invariant properties under some transformations of these four geometric structures are determined. 73

Bu çalışmada, verilen çizilebilir bir derece dizisinin mümkün olan çizimlerinin graf teorik, topolojik ve kombinatorik özellikleri hakkında bilgi veren ve adına omega invaryantı denilen bir graf invaryantı tanımlanmış ve çeşitli uygulamaları ve özellikleri incelenmiştir. Topolojide 250 yılı aşkın bir süredir bilinen ve yüzeylerle ilgili çok sayıda uygulamalara sahip olan Euler karakteristiği ile ve grafın devir sayısı ile de ilgili olan bu invaryantın bir çok özelliğin çalışılmasında faydalı olduğu gözlenmiştir. Bu tez 6 bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm giriş bölümü olup bu bölümde graflarla ilgili temel kavramlar hatırlatılmış ve tezin ilerleyen bölümlerinde kullanılacak olan bazı sonuçlar verilmiştir. Ayrıca sık kullanılan graf türleri ve temel özellikleri hatırlatılmıştır. İkinci bölümde omega invaryantının tanımına temel oluşturan derece dizisi kavramı hatırlatılacaktır. Ayrıca bazı graf sınıflarının derece dizileri ifade edilecektir. Üçüncü bölümde omega invaryantı tanımlanacaktır. Bu tanım için nelerden esinlenildiği açıklanarak temel bazı özellikleri incelenmiştir. Bazı özel graf sınıfları için omega invaryantının aldığı değerler formülleştirilmiş ve tüm omega değerlerinin bir çok açıdan üç farklı kümeye ayrılabildiği gösterilmiştir. Ayrıca omega invaryantı ile Euler karakteristiği arasındaki ilişki ortaya konmuştur. Dördüncü bölümde derece dizilerinin çok sayıda olası çizimi arasında özel bir yere sahip olan temel çizimler; beşinci bölümde bir graftan kenar ve köşe silmenin omega invaryantına etkisi ele alınmıştır. Altıncı ve son bölümde graflarla ilgili bazı uç problemler ele alınmıştır. In this thesis, omega invariant which gives information about the graph theoretical, topological and combinatorial properties of all realizations of a given degree sequence is defined and several applications and properties of it are studied. It is observed that this invariant which is related to the Euler characteristics known in topology for more than 250 years and has many applications related to surfaces and also to the cyclomatic number of graphs, is useful in the study of many properties. This thesis consists of 6 chapters. The first chapter is the introductory chapter and the fundamental notions are recalled here together with the results which will be needed in later chapters. Also some frequently used graph classes and their fundamental properties are given. In the second chapter, the notion of degree sequence which forms the basis of the definition of the omega invariant is studied. Also the degree sequences of some graph classes will be given. In the third chapter, omega invariant will be defined. The motivation for defining it and some main properties will be given. It will be calculated for some graph classes and it is shown that the values of omega invariant can be grouped into three sets which appears to be very useful. Also the relation between omega invariant and Euler characteristic is established. In the fourth chapter, the fundamental realizations which have an important place amongst all realizations of a given degree sequence; in the fifth chapter, the effect of edge and vertex deletion from a graph on omega are studied. In the sixth and last chapter, some extremal problems are studied.

Bu çalışmada 1- indeksli 3- boyutlu Yarı-Öklidyen uzayda Null Eğri, Pseudo Null Eğri, Cartan Null Eğri ve 1-indeksli 4-boyutlu Yarı-Öklidyen uzayda Null, Pseudo Null, Partially Null eğrilerin sınıflandırılması yapılmıştır. Burada Frenet denklemlerine bağlı olarak eğrilerin hangi alt uzayda yatıp yatmadığı araştırılmıştır. In this study, classification of Null Curve, Pseudo Null Curve, Cartan Null Curve and 1-index Null, Pseudo Null, Partially Null curves in 1-indexed 3-dimensional Semi-Euclidean space were made. Here the fact that in which subspace, the curves lie in relation with Frenet equations is investigated. 65
