The thesis deals with the issue of further education of non-teaching staff which falls within the field of employee care. Today's society places ever higher demands on workers and organizations in the field of education, so it is necessary for schools to focus on the continuing education not only for teaching staff but also for other workers, so-called non-teaching staff. These workers also need to maintain a certain status in society which they will only be able to do if they have the opportunity to develop and further their education. The theoretical part is divided into three parts. The first chapter introduces the field of lifelong learning, formal, non- formal, informal education and andragogy. The next chapter focuses on the specificities of adult education. It also describes the needs of the motivation of adult individuals to learn. Most kindergartens in the Czech Republic are managed by a headmaster/ headmistress and their deputies (depending on the size of the kindergarten). There are also some kindergartens which fall within the management of a primary, or even a secondary school in the particular municipality, and the function of a headmaster/ headmistress is performed by the primary/ secondary school principal. If that is the case, the kindergarten headteacher position is introduced, who is not a deputy but is in charge of the kindergarten and responsible to the principal. The topic of the diploma thesis is the evaluation of teaching staff. The aim of the thesis is to describe the evaluation tools used for evaluation of teaching staff in private primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic and to propose an optimisation of the evaluation system based on the results. The thesis provides a comprehensive overview of the issue of teacher evaluation and presents a summary of methods of teacher evaluation that can be used to improve the quality of education. In the theoretical part, concepts such as forms, criteria, functions, process and methods of evaluation are introduced. The specific aspects of teacher evaluation and the importance of communication of evaluation results to staff, mistakes of evaluators and evaluated, as well as evaluation principles, new trends in this field and possible uses of evaluation results are described. This thesis deals with the subjective perception of well-being among secondary school teachers in Prague. The theoretical part of the thesis first defines the basic concepts related to the topic, namely the definition of the concept of well-being itself, which is viewed from many sources, as it is a very broad term. At the same time, the history of the term, its inclusion in andragogical reality and the topicality of the topic are described. Subsequently, all the areas that fall under this term are described, the ways in which well-being can be measured, but also possible obstacles to well-being are described. The bachelor's thesis focuses on the provision of employee benefits to teaching staff and the use of this area as a human resource management tool for school management. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a empirical part. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes knowledge about the issue from the professional literature, defines basic terms and serves as a basis for the following practical part. This thesis deals with the topic of talent management in relation to teaching staff in second- ary education in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to describe its current state and to find out how talented teachers are cared for in Czech secondary schools and how princi- pals perceive talented teachers and talent management. The thesis defines and puts into context the concepts of teaching staff, teacher stand- ard, talented teacher, talent and giftedness as well as talent management. The diploma thesis analyzes the current problems associated with further education of pedagogical staff in the capital city of Prague. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts, characterizes the current system of education, new trends in further education of teachers and provides an overview of further education in some EU countries. The practical part evaluates the results of a research survey, which includes the analysis and comparison of data obtained from structured interviews, questionnaires and annual reports of schools. The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of personnel work in education, specifically in kindergarten. The aim of the work is the analysis and evaluation of the activities of the kindergarten principal in the field of personnel management with a focus on personnel procedures, the acquisition, selection and development of employees. Its content is an analysis of this issue based on theoretical background, questionnaires and interviews. The first part of the bachelor's thesis brings a theoretical framework of the issue, the examined role of the manager, management and leadership, decision-making and communication. The thesis deals with the comparison of the activities of a recruitment agency and an employment agency. The content of the thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts and consists of six chapters in total. The theoretical part contains the necessary concepts to understand the issue of job search through an agency. On the basis of the literature, the development of agencies in the Czech Republic is described, where the development of the labour market during the pandemic is also mentioned, the next subchapter deals with the differences between agency employment and outsourcing, the differences between a recruitment agency and an employment agency are also described, it is also explained who is a recruitment consultant. In the next subsection, the methods of recruiting workers, the advantages and disadvantages of staffing services and what other services agencies can provide to other entities are presented. The main goal of this work is to create an idea of how an educational system for non-physician healthcare professionals in the departments of anestesiology, resuscitation, and intensive care should look like with regards to interpreting and evaluating ECG curves that would lead to a better knowledge of understanding ECG curves. This certain idea of an educational system should be another option on how to educate healthcare professionals, thus improving their competence. The theoretical part of this work compares the educational system of healthcare professionals in the Czech Republic to other foreign countries and the competence of non-physician healthcare professionals working mostly in intensive care in hospitals. It also introduces and explains the basics on how to record an ECG curve that competent workers should be able to read and interpret correctly. Its aim was to analyse the selected online platforms and their functions with regard to the possibility of incorporating modern teaching methods in adult education. The theoretical part is based on desk research, relevant literature and other available sources and defines the terms related to the issue, which are andragogy, adult education methods and online education. It also presents current trends and objectives of education in the Czech Republic. The research part of the thesis includes a questionnaire survey which focuses on examining the form of teaching staff appraisal, its effectiveness and relevance. The aim of the investigation is to quantitatively analyse the approaches to staff appraisal in different educational organisations and to map its impact on staff.
