People tend to react in the manner they are treated. Many problems in organizational relationships arise because of this reason. Most often, it is not the intent but the manner of implementation that may result in conflicts. Hence, building and sustaining organizational relationships is crucial for organizational productivity, and it is here that the role of emotional management becomes relevant. Emotions help maintain a balance between one's inner state and behavior in a given situation, which not only helps one to survive but also to flourish. However, emotions are not always reliable. At times, emotions may tend to confuse one's perceptions of the present moments with past experiences. This may further cloud one's judgment, and ultimately one may lose control of one's behavior. The paper draws upon Daniel Coleman's Theory of Emotional Intelligence to examine the strategies for building and sustaining organizational relationships through emotional intelligence. Today, the nature of an ever-competitive business environment has become both dynamic and an essential characteristic of globalisation. Constant shift in processes, communication and interdependence, indeed, sustainability in the functioning of any organisation has become an ever-augmenting trend. Organisations although adopt several practices to achieve sustainability, the question is do they truly, achievesustainability? Studies claim sustainability at workplaces entails in reducing company's ecological footprint, conserving natural resources and taking care of the employees. Surprisingly, in comparison to the former two, the later has been highly ignored. The modus operandi towards achieving productivity and performance may have been successful but the wellbeing of the employees in the organisations is still at stake. Many organisations around the world have implemented wellness programs for the well-being of their employees, however, whether every individual is benefitted through such programs is still a concern. One may assume that such programs do not serve any meaning specifically towards individual level development. Few studies also state that an employee's well-being is always an outcome of job crafting and as an outcome variable, well-being leads to organisational excellence. However, the current study argues that well-being acts as a mediator between job crafting and sustainability. If employees get motivated to do beyond their job roles through job crafting, a lot of meaning can be derived out of their work leading to high performance and a sustainable environment and if well-being acts as a mediator between the two constructs, achieving sustainability will be faster and more convenient. Well-being of an employee is the most sought-after construct and certain for sustainability. Also mentioned in the Equality Act 2010 any deviation in the process of attaining wellbeing is subjected to disease or disability leading to a stigmatised society. Similar ideas are also mentioned in Indian ancient wisdom. Blending, the theories from philosophy, management, law and ancient wisdom through an interdisciplinary approach, the current paper proposes a conceptual model while establishing a relation between virtues, job crafting mediated by wellbeing and moderated by meaningful work to achieve sustainability. Background: Studies reveal that, university students are expected to be well versed in multiple languages, posses a greater degree of emotional intelligence and be highly sensible towards intercultural differences in today's globalizing world. Objectives: The primary objective of this paper is to assess whether multilingual students have higher emotional intelligence and intercultural sensitivity as compared to monolingual students. Methods: The methodology adopted for the study included data collected from university students from various disciplines and diverse cultures through a questionnaire in an electronic survey providing questions relating to the participant's proficiency in language, scale measuring emotional intelligence and intercultural sensitivity. The questionnaire was based on TEIQue-SF (Petrides, 2009) that included Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire Short Form that comprised of 30 questions and Intercultural Sensitivity Scale (Chen and Starosta, 2000) that consisted of 24 items on a Likert scale of 7 points and 5 point scale respectively. Cronbach's Alpha was performed to find the reliability between the variables and t test was run where the means of the two samples assuming unequal variances were compared to check the hypothesis. Results: Results indicated that multilingual university students have high emotional intelligence in comparison to monolingual students. However, there is no significant relation of intercultural sensitivity among multilingual and monolingual students. Conclusions: University students need to prepare for careers that include diverse workplaces. Their ability to learn more than one language will enable them to connect, relate and collaborate with people developing strong interpersonal relationships that further would engage them in various future assignments helping them grow in their career. Further, this study may help develop emotional intelligence among students by accepting it as a prime focus in university curricula, imparting training and development programs during academia and encouraging continuous self-assessment among the students. The three basic ingredients together offer an intertwined thread in communicating emotion that is stronger and worthier than any other individual thread. Aristotle views ethos as a morally virtuous activity that reflects quality of one's character. He understands pathos as feelings, emotions that can be positive or negative and thus the impact and the response. By logos Aristotle counterparts with an analysis of an object through a structured principle that is rational and comprehensible. Employing ethos, pathos and logos during communication does not make people believe what is wrong or right; rather provides strong arguments when argued unfairly so that one can make confutation. Clear contents and supportive views often lead to arguments that are always easy to prove. Shakespeare is very passionate about the art and skill of delivery of speech. His fascination towards eloquence is widely found in his plays. Shakespeare as a classic dramatist sequesters and explores the rhetorical practice, its nature in Portia who is believed to have the command to stir emotions among the audiences. Teachers are the incarnations of ethics, morals and values that they impart to the students with an aim to direct, educate and motivate students in accomplishing the mission of being a responsible citizen of the society. Studies claim that students tend to be more competent when they are able to apply virtues. As teachers play a significant role in forming and shaping the moral characters of their students, it is essential to understand that teachers set examples to their students by demonstrating through example. The role and the responsibility of the teachers is to disperse knowledge and information but little attention is been paid to the essential virtues that teachers need to adopt and introduce in the classroom. The main objective of the paper is to determine the characteristics of a virtuous teacher. Data for the study was collected from 423 teachers, teaching in schools, colleges and universities across India through a questionnaire that consisted of a number of components dealing with the characteristics of a teacher. Since it was difficult to accept all the components, factor analysis technique was implemented to condense the most essential qualities of a virtuous teacher. Further, co-relation and binary logistic regression analysis was implemented to find out how much impact these qualities create in order to define the characteristics of a virtuous teacher. Results indicated that the components that are essential to determine the qualities of a virtuous teachers are communication, fairness, responsibility, focus, care, humour, interest and commitment. Surprisingly, researchers under management fields emphasize unremittingly on the qualities of effective leadership. While a lot of apprehensible efforts to understand and master the attributes of leadership are submitted, many a times, researchers tend to take their eyes off from the fact that leadership formulation comprises two parts. First, the leaders need to possess unparalleled talent, knowledge and experience and second that they need to possess exceptional skills to attract followers. Studies determine that although corporate world needs leader to lead, very unfortunately, it is becoming difficult to get people to follow the leaders. Literature reveals that the followers are portrayed largely, in terms of the absolutions of the leaders' attributes. In short, the followers are taken for granted and are thought of as people who simply respond to the charismatic attitude of the leaders. The fact that followers are as powerfully driven to follow as leaders are to lead seems to be ignored. Hence, today, corporate world requires effective leaders to be rhetoric adjacently being ethical, empathetic and logical touching the three modes of persuasion coined by Aristotle that are ethos, pathos and logos. English speakers from native English-speaking countries have a very attractive way of delivering their speech and have a good grip on the language. The reason is, the pronunciation they use has the right kind of effect on the listeners, especially for nonnative English-speaking countries. While in native English-speaking countries, the English LSRW skills come naturally to the speakers, the nonnative English speakers have to make efforts to learn and master those skills. Communication is a part of everyday life which guides all our relationships. We often get stressed in our professional field due to a number of reasons.
