This study aimed to know whether the use of online communicative speaking tasks can enhance the speaking skills of the ninth graders of a private junior high school in Mungkid, the Province of Central Java, and how well their speaking skills improved. This research was action research that was divided into four stages. Those were reconnaissance, plan, action and observation, and reflection. The research involved 24 students in 9A class of a private junior high school in the academic year of 2022/ 2023. The research was done in two cycles, consisting of eight meetings. The data of the research were collected through quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative data were from speaking tests and questionnaires. Meanwhile, the qualitative data were obtained from interviews and observation. The quantitative data were analyzed by comparing students' mean scores that were gained from students' speaking performance pretest and post-test. The qualitative data analysis employed Miles, Huberman & Saldana's (2014) interactive model that consists of data condensation, data display, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The research findings showed that using online communicative speaking tasks effectively enhanced students' speaking skills and engagement. The result of the post-test showed that there were consistent improvements in students' mean scores in pre-cycle (10.48), cycle I (13.69), and cycle II (18.50). The total improvement from pre-cycle to cycle II was 8.02 points. It indicated that the students had improved in some aspects of speaking skills.

Lead (Pb) from batik dyeing waste that is thrown into the environment can pollute the environment so it needs processing before being thrown into the environment. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of green mussel shells as an adsorbent with different concentrations on reducing Pb heavy metal contamination in batik dyeing waste and to determine the optimal concentration of green mussel shells to reduce Pb heavy metal contamination in batik dyeing waste. The research method used was experimental with 4 treatments with different concentrations of green mussel shell ash as an adsorbent (0, 10, 20, and 30%). The results of the research showed that a green mussel shell ash concentration of 30% was the best concentration because it was able to reduce Pb levels in batik dyeing waste by 68.52%. Characterization of green mussel shell ash includes average pore radius (10.674 nm), total pore volume (0.005 cc/g), and surface area (0.969 m2/g).

In the context of Indonesian culture, incense has been traditionally utilized in various rituals. Incense possesses a calming impact and has the potential to reduce anxiety. This physiological response stems from the interplay of chemical components within incense and receptors associated with relaxation, specifically GABAA. This research aims to explore the interaction between substances found in commercially incenses with the GABAA receptors. The compounds of incense were identified through Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) analysis. And there were 54 compounds identified from the 5 incense samples. Next, the ligands employed for docking studies were compounds predicted to traverse the blood-brain barrier (BBB). There were 31 compounds potential of crossing the blood-brain barrier (BBB). Docking results indicated that the majority of tested compounds exhibited notably lower S-scores during receptor interaction, suggesting their potential as anxiety-relieving agents. Furthermore, molecular docking outcomes highlighted that 9-Octadecenoic acid (Z)-, 2-hydroxy-1-(hydroxymethyl)ethyl ester showed the lowest S-score (-6.573). These findings imply that odorant and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs) present in incenses possess the ability to function as anxiety-reducing (anxiolytic) agents, potentially assisting in anxiety treatment.

Magnetite, a widely synthesized compound utilized as an adsorbent in various processes, exhibits reduced adsorption efficiency due to aggregation in aqueous solutions. Addressing this limitation, modification of magnetite is necessary to mitigate agglomeration and enhance adsorption capacity. Herein, we propose the utilization of gaharu leaf extract for magnetite modification, leveraging its abundance as a byproduct of essential oil production and rich secondary metabolite content, which serves as a stabilizing agent in synthesis processes. Magnetite (M) and gaharu leaf extract-modified magnetite (MEDG) were synthesized and evaluated as adsorbents for methyl orange (MO) textile dyes. Characterization via FTIR, PSA, SEM-EDX, XRD, and VSM revealed distinctive features of MEDG, including vibrational peaks corresponding to organic functional groups derived from the secondary metabolites present in the gaharu leaf extract. These functional groups actively participate in the adsorption process and prevent magnetite aggregation. MEDG exhibited a particle size of 4408.7 nm, compared to 4625 nm for M, with both exhibiting face-centered cubic (fcc) crystal structures. Additionally, MEDG demonstrated a crystallinity percentage of 92.49 % and saturation magnetization of 34.43 emu/g, attributed to the incorporation of gaharu leaf extract. Adsorption studies demonstrated that MEDG and gaharu leaf simplicia (SDG) achieved maximal adsorption of MO at pH 3 for 60 min and pH 4 for 70 min, respectively, with an adsorption efficiency of 95–99 % for a 5 ppm MO solution. The adsorption kinetics followed Ho’s pseudo-second-order model, and the isotherm conformed to Freundlich’s model. Furthermore, M and MEDG exhibited high reusability, with up to 5 cycles of reuse, while SDG demonstrated 3 cycles. However, the adsorption efficiency decreased to 87 % for MEDG and 85.19 % for SDG upon the fifth repetition. In conclusion, modification of magnetite with gaharu leaf extract enhances its adsorption capacity, offering economic advantages over pure magnetite due to increased surface area and active sites.

Research has been carried out on making biodiesel from palm oil using natural zeolite catalysts impregnated with metal oxides such as zinc oxide and titanium oxide. This research aims to produce biodiesel using natural zeolite and ZnO-TiO2/NZ catalysts. The catalysts were analyzed using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), and Brunauer-Emmet-Teller (BET). The catalyst was tested in the transesterification reaction to produce biodiesel. The mole oil and methanol ratio varied from 1:15, 1:18, and 1:20. In addition, the biodiesel product was analyzed using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS). The results showed the optimum condition for converting triglycerides to 1:18 variation of oil:methanol was 60.53%using a ZnO-TiO2/NZ catalyst. The ZnO-TiO2/NZ catalyst is very promising for use as a catalyst for converting palm oils into biodiesel.

Objective: Patients with cardiovascular disease (CVDs) have been reported to have the potential to experience severe COVID-19. The inflammatory cytokines such as IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α are frequently found in the COVID-19 cytokine storm. Because of the pleiotropic effect Rosuvastatin could be useful as an anti-inflammatory drug to suppress cytokine storms for possible COVID-19 therapy. This study aims to study the effect of rosuvastatin administration on IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α on peripheral blood mononuclear cells in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients stimulated with the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. Material and methods: Mononuclear cells were isolated from peripheral venous blood, and then stimulated with the SARS-CoV-2 subunit S1 spike protein and incubated for 24 hours. Cells that had been stimulated by the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein were separated into two groups. Group 1 was the control group, which was not given rosuvastatin. Group 2 was given rosuvastatin at a dose of 20 μM. The expressions of IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α were measured from the cell supernatant using the ELISA method. Results: Spike protein stimulation significantly increased the expression of IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α (p= 0.37). Rosuvastatin administered at a dose of 20 μM did not significantly decrease IL-6 (p = 0.568) or IL-1β (p = 0.848) expression but increased TNF-α expression (p = 0.792). Conclusion: Rosuvastatin administration did not affect the expression of IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α in peripheral blood mononuclear cells of diabetics with stimulation of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein.

Objectives To investigate the implementation of teleconsultation and assess the level of readiness for its adoption among various types of healthcare facilities Methods This cross-sectional study involved medical doctors working in a public hospital, a private hospital, and community health centers in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. We recruited 29 medical specialists from various departments in two hospitals and 27 heads of community health centers. The readiness items were categorized into sections that encompassed various readiness areas such as core, technological, motivational, learning, work culture, and policy readiness. Data were analyzed using a one-way analysis of variance and the Kruskal-Wallis test to evaluate differences in levels of readiness across healthcare facilities. A logistic regression analysis was conducted to further assess factors predicting the implementation of teleconsultation. Results Variations in technological readiness were observed between the community health centers and the public hospital ( p = 0.006) and the private hospital ( p = 0.007). Differences in learning readiness were found between the public hospitals and private hospitals ( p = 0.01). There were also disparities in cultural readiness between the public hospital and the private hospital ( p = 0.04) and between public hospital and community health centers ( p = 0.01). Logistic regression revealed an association between technological readiness and the use of video teleconsultation (OR = 1.13; p = 0.017). The private hospital was more likely to implement video-based teleconsultation than was the public hospital (OR = 2.68; p = 0.003) or community health centers (OR = 3.13; p ≤ 0.001). Conclusion Significant differences in technology readiness were identified among community health centers, public hospitals, and private hospitals. Future policy implementation should focus on customizing technology use and providing cultural training to help healthcare institutions with different technological readiness levels.

The development of industry in the modern era has led to the growth of vocational schools in Indonesia. for that reason, vocational schools need to adapt or change the general English (GE) learning materials into English learning materials for specific purposes (ESP). therefore, this current study aims to investigate the need for ESP materials for agriculture students at Indonesian vocational schools. This study employed descriptive research to describe the agriculture students' need for ESP materials. The participants of this research were 25 students of XI grade agriculture students at vocational school. This research used a questionnaire that was developed to find out the ESP needs of agriculture students. Moreover, the data from the questionnaire were analyzed by seeing the frequency of participants' answers then the data were presented in the form of a chart or figure. The results of the study showed that the English learning objective of the agriculture students should make the students able to communicate in English well. Then, English learning materials for agriculture students should be blended with the agriculture materials such as cultivation plants and processing agricultural products. Also, English learning activities for agriculture students should involve students actively by group work, making projects, and using current media technologies in the learning process. Eventually, the results of this study can be used as a reference in mapping and developing ESP materials especially for agriculture students at vocational schools.

In this study, the anionic and cationic gels were synthesized separately using copolymerization between N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAM) and acrylic acid or chitosan through a polymerization reaction using N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide (MBAA) as a cross-linker with various monomer concentrations and synthesis temperature. The anionic and cationic gels were blended to minimize inter-intra particle association and to improve the adsorption ability. The FTIR analysis found that the synthesis of the NIPAM-co-acrylic acid and NIPAM-co-chitosan gels was successfully carried out, indicating no presence of a vinyl group in the functional group. The result showed that the ion adsorption amount of Pb2+ ions blending gels increased significantly, almost twice compared to the adsorption before blending. The adsorption amount of Pb2+ ions increased with increasing the gel synthesis temperature. The adsorption amount follows the order of Pb2+ > Fe2+ > Ni2+. The adsorption amount of Pb2+ tends to decrease with increasing sedimentation volume. The higher the synthesis temperature, the larger the porous diameter formed. These results demonstrate that blending gel of NIPAM-co-chitosan and NIPAM-co-acrylic acid is a feasible alternative for removing heavy metal ions owing to its good adsorption performance.

This research aimed to improve pronunciation teaching for junior high school students by integrating the learning material's segmental and suprasegmental features of pronunciation. This classroom action research was conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. This study implemented six actions, i.e., 1) the use of classroom English, 2) implementing the integration of pronunciation teaching); 3) giving feedback on students’ pronunciation; 4) introducing phonetic transcription; 5) implementing engaging activities to teach pronunciation; and 6) reinforcing pronunciation. The data were collected through interviews, class observation, and pronunciation assessment using a rubric developed based on the indicators of hearing sounds, stress and intonation, and imitation. The qualitative data from the field notes and interviews were analyzed qualitatively. Meanwhile, the quantitative data from the assessment results of student pronunciation were analyzed using the paired-t test to confirm the significant difference before and after the actions. The research results show that integrating segmental and suprasegmental learning improved pronunciation teaching for Junior High School students (as reflected in the data from the interview and field notes), and their pronunciation assessment results improved student pronunciation. In all cycles, integrating segmental and suprasegmental learning in pronunciation teaching improved student pronunciation.

Changes in the organizational structure of the Central Java LPMP can be seen from the very wide span of control because there is only one leader controlling 148 employees. The change in organizational structure at the Central Java LPMP was due to the simplification of the bureaucracy through the conversion of administrative employees into functional employees. The study is aimed at profound explaining of the restructuring impact on the overall performance of the organization namely LPMP Central Java. The researchers interviewed 6 informants that is: Head of Central Java LPMP, Head of Organization Bureau and Governance Kemdikbudristek, Head of HR Bureau Kemdikbudristek, Head Deputy Empowerment of HR Apparatus KemenPAN-RB, and Central Java LPMP employees. Besides, researchers also analyze the activity of the employee and the leader while carrying out the restructuring process. As a result, organizational changes resulting from bureaucratic simplification in the Central Java LPMP bring to a shift in the hierarchical system. There is a special team or tough team that was deliberately formed to achieve the organizational performance targets of the Central Java LPMP. The impact is that organizational performance has increased as proven in the LPMP Central Java Government Agency Performance Report (LAKIP) with good results. The 2021 Central Java Province LPMP performance report presents the achievement of two activity targets with five performance indicators as stated in the 2021 Performance Agreement document. The research results also envisage the existence of organizational values that are instilled in its employees.

Survival analysis is a branch of statistics for analyzing the duration of time until one or more events occur. Time to recurrence of diabetics including survival data. Diabetes can’t be cured but it can be controlled. Diabetics who don’t maintain their health and lifestyle will experience recurrence. Factors thought to influence the recurrence of diabetics are internal factors such as genetics and external factors such as lifestyle. The recurrence time of an object includes recurrent events because each object can experience the same recurrent event during the follow-up. One of the analysis to determine factors that are thought to influence the recurrence time of diabetics is survival analysis. Survival data can be modeled into a regression model if the survival time of an object is influenced by other factors. One of the regression models for survival data is Cox regression. One of the Cox regression models for recurrent event data is the AG model which uses a counting process approach. This study used data on the recurrence of diabetics at MH Thamrin Cileungsi Hospital. Based on data analysis, factors that influence the recurrence of diabetics are age, gender, and type of complication.

Islamic boarding schools are one of the traditional Islamic-based educational institutions that study Islamic religious sciences as their main study and apply them as daily charity. In terms of the curriculum, Islamic boarding schools no longer only provide religious education, but currently Islamic boarding schools provide additional subjects such as scouting, martial arts and entrepreneurship; both in the field of plantations, catering, sewing, cooperatives and others. Fishery product processing training is one of the methods to support economic independence in the form of entrepreneurship in Islamic boarding schools. Processing of fishery products is an activity that is carried out in stages, sequentially, cleanly and hygienically, and fulfills the quality requirements in order to convert raw fishery products into final products. The target of this community service activity is to form a fishery product processing business activity at the Nurul Huda Islamic Boarding School in Surabaya that is solid and able to compete in the market continuously so as to make the Islamic boarding school an independent institution and have a sustainable business. The method used is the method of approach that is carried out, among others, namely the Participatory method. The results that have been obtained from this activity are the increased knowledge of Islamic boarding school students on the importance of sanitation and handling of fishery products (processed products in the form of fish nuggets and dragon feet). The activity was attended by 40 students, with education levels, namely junior high and high school. As many as 90% of the participants in the Fishery Products Handling Technique training wanted further activities to increase their knowledge in the field of handling fishery products.

Doctoral supervision has been deemed as a site of power, knowledge production, and an effort in career progression, mediated by doctoral students and their supervisors. Extensive studies have looked at these interactions from multiple angles. Although research into doctoral supervision has been extensively documented, there lies a paucity of studies exploring the voices of doctoral students with regard to knowledge production during doctoral supervision using photovice artefacts. To fill this lacuna, the current photovoice study aims to inspect doctoral students' voices in perceiving the process of negotiating knowledge with their supervisors during their doctoral supervision. A total of five Indonesian international students enrolled in different universities in Australia, the United Kingdom, Brunei Darussalam, and Taiwan reflected on their experiences with doctoral supervision. The analysis of participants' photovoice revealed two main supervisory styles, namely co-constructed and superior or dominating, that determined the nature of negotiations of knowledge and showed whose legitimised voices were accommodated in doctoral supervision. Our findings suggest that socio-culturally constructed doctoral supervision and power relations need to be better addressed in the negotiations of knowledge production in doctoral supervision. These findings imply that doctoral education should seek a deep understanding of doctoral students' socio-cultural elements and enact this into doctoral program design.

E-tivities were implemented in the online class of Immunology at the Department of Pharmacy UII using video-based learning (VBL) and concept mapping exercises to enhance student motivation and knowledge. The class measurement method was used by comparing the previous academic year's lecture evaluation and outcomes (the 2021 semester without video and concept mapping) and the 2022 semester (with E-tivities using VBL and concept mapping). According to the evaluation results, the combination of learning methods with learning video and concept mapping increased the student's interest and enthusiasm for learning. Furthermore, the student's mastery of the material increased from 8% to 41%, resulting in an increase in the student's final grade. The combination of video-based learning and concept mapping increased student motivation and knowledge

Hypertension is an increase in systolic blood pressure of more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of more than 90 mmHg on two measurements with an interval of five minutes in a state of sufficient rest, calm. Treatment of hypertension can use medicinal plants, namely bay leaves and soursop leaves. Bay leaves and soursop leaves have antioxidant activity that can counteract free radicals so that they can lower blood pressure, while bay leaves themselves contain flavonoids that can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. This activity program uses the method of giving local seminars and workshops directly to the PKK group in Kwarasan Village, Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency. The results of real work lecture program showed an increase in participants' knowledge which was evaluated through an average increase in the pretest score from 86 to 94 during the posttest as well as an increase in the skills of participants in workshop activities.

The aim of this research is to understand how adolescents' social skills relate to their understanding of the meaning of life. This research uses a qualitative descriptive type of research which aims to analyze the social skills and meaning of life of Madrasah Aliyah X students in Medan City. The research method used was descriptive qualitative by collecting data through interviews with 5 students at Madrasah Aliyah X in Medan City. The research results show that there is a relationship between social skills and understanding the meaning of life in adolescents. The results can provide insight to educators and parents about the importance of developing social skills in helping teenagers live their teenage years better. In addition, this research also provides further understanding of how adolescents respond to social challenges and how this can influence their understanding of life goals. Therefore, the recommendation from this research is the need for a holistic approach in adolescent education which includes the development of social skills and understanding the meaning of life. Apart from that, there needs to be support and guidance from parents and educators in helping teenagers live their teenage years better.

Many studies indicated a genre-based approach (GBA) as an effective method in English foreign language (EFL) teaching and GBA is also integrated into the English teaching curriculum. However, EFL teachers' portraits of GBA use in teaching practices are little understood. This study aimed to explore EFL teachers' perceptions of GBA, the implementation of GBA in EFL classrooms, and the challenges EFL teachers face when implementing GBA. This case study research involved 28 English teachers from different public high schools in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The data were obtained from the teachers’ self-reflection sheet adapted from Rustipa et al. (2021) and semi-structured interviews. The data gathered were then examined by utilizing thematic analysis. The findings indicated that most EFL teachers were aware of GBA and positively perceived it, the implementation of GBA in EFL classrooms had not met the standardized implementation, and students' low vocabulary mastery, time allocation, and teachers' abilities in selecting texts and designing tasks were the challenges in the GBA implementation. This study offers pedagogical implications for the stakeholders to take into account that most EFL teachers need training regarding GBA application.

Inflammation of blood vessel walls and inflammatory response are considered as the main pathogenesis of atherothrombosis in ST elevation of myocardial infarction. Hs-CRP can measure the inflammatory response after acute myocardial infarction thereby providing prognosis for major adverse cardiovascular event. Objective: This study aims to the serum levels of Hs-CRP at admission as a predictor of a Major Adverse Cardiovascular Event (MACE), including cardiovascular mortality, nonfatal myocardial infarction, nonfatal stroke, stent thrombosis in STEMI patient who underwent primary percutaneous intervention (PPCI) during hospitalization and 30 days after primary percutaneous coronary intervention. Magnetite synthesis using petai (Parkia speciosa) peel extract using the sonochemical method (Fe3O4-PPE) has been successfully carried out. Fe3O4-PPE is applied as a catalyst in biodiesel production. This study aimed to determine the physical and chemical characteristics of Fe3O4-PPE and its ability as a reusable catalyst in biodiesel production using waste frying oil as the primary raw material. Characterization of Fe3O4-PPE was carried out using FTIR, XRD, and PSA instruments. Biodiesel was produced in 3 reaction cycles with the same Fe3O4-PPE catalyst. The results of the FTIR characterization showed that the Fe3O4-PPE catalyst had Fe-O bonds from Fe3O4 and -OH phenolic groups, -C-O, -C=C aromatic compounds derived from petai peel extract. The crystal size of the Fe3O4-PPE catalyst based on the results of calculations using Debye-Scherrer from the XRD chromatogram is 9.41 nm. The particle size of the Fe3O4-PPE catalyst based on analysis using PSA was divided into three groups, namely, 5.4 nm, 195 nm, and 2702.6 nm. Fe3O4-PPE was successfully used as a reusable catalyst for three cycles of biodiesel production using waste frying oil as raw material. The characteristics of Fe3O4-PPE before and after being used as a catalyst did not change. Based on GC-MS analysis, the fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) composition of biodiesel is palmitic acid and oleic acid.

This paper discusses the implementation of the mind mapping-assisted problem-based learning model in improving Social Science learning outcomes for students at grade 5B students of SD Kristen 03 Eben Haezer Salatiga. The method used in the classroom action research was carried out in two cycles with a number of 26 students in grade 5B of SD Kristen 03 Eben Haezer Salatiga. Data were collected using values from post-tests from each cycle to find out or test using the implementation of the problem-based learning model assisted by mind mapping to improve social science learning outcomes for students at grade 5B of SD Kristen 03 Eben Haezer Salatiga and uses observation sheets of teacher’s activities and students’ activities to determine the implementation of the mind mapping-assisted problem-based learning model that during teaching and learning process in the classroom. There is an increasing percentage of students who completed the preliminary implementation of 8 students with a percentage of 30.77% who completed and increased to 12 students with a percentage of 46.15% who completed the first cycle. In addition, it increased to 21 students with a percentage of 80.1% who completed the second cycle. The results are based on the whole students. Therefore, the implementation of the PBL learning model assisted by Mind Mapping has been proven to be able to improve students’ learning outcomes and has achieved the indicators with 80% of students who achieved learning completeness.

Cemetery soils most likely contain degradative bacteria which possibly have beneficial potencies. However, the bacterial exploration in these potencies is still limitedly conducted in Indonesia. The raw sequence data of total bacteria in the cemetery soils through metagenomic analysis have been revealed. The data were obtained by collecting soil samples from six spots of two major Cemetery areas, which were Pracimaloyo (P) and Bonoloyo (B), in Surakarta City, Central Java, Indonesia. The six sample spots consisted of two samples from P area with respectively 20 cm and 140 cm depths and four samples of each two samples from B area with 20 and 40 cm depths. The total DNA was subsequently extracted from the collected soils using ZymoBIOMICS DNA Miniprep Kit. The total DNA then was amplified using a couple of 16S rRNA primers through Illumina HiSeq 2500 PE250 (Novogen, Korea) environment system. The raw sequence data has been submitted to the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) with project ID PRJNA997385. The archived sequence can be accessed in the NCBI website with the following URLs https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sra/PRJNA997385. A brief analysis of the sequence data showed that the most common phyla in 20 cm-depths were Proteobacteria (29.5%), Actinobacteria (21.6%), and Firmicutes (19.2%), while Actinobacteria were the most found in 140 cm-depths with 34.2% followed by Proteobacteria (21.9%) and Firmicutes (16.6%). This data would be the first report of total bacterial sequence from cemetery soils in Indonesia.

Abstract Microbial interactions between filamentous fungi and yeast are still not fully understood. To evaluate a potential antifungal activity of a filamentous fungus while highlighting metabolomic changes, co-cultures between an endophytic strain of Cophinforma mamane (CM) and Candida albicans (CA) were performed. The liquid cultures were incubated under static conditions and metabolite alterations during the course were investigated by ultra-performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrophotometry (UPLC–MS/MS). Results were analyzed using MS-DIAL, MS-FINDER, METLIN, Xcalibur, SciFinder, and MetaboAnalyst metabolomics platforms. The metabolites associated with catabolic processes, including the metabolism of branched-chain amino acids, carnitine, and phospholipids were upregulated both in the mono and co-cultures, indicating fungal adaptability to environmental stress. Several metabolites, including C20 sphinganine 1-phosphate, myo-inositol, farnesol, gamma-undecalactone, folinic acid, palmitoleic acid, and MG (12:/0:0/0:0) were not produced by CA during co-culture with CM, demonstrating the antifungal mechanism of CM. Our results highlight the crucial roles of metabolomics studies to provide essential information regarding the antifungal mechanism of C. mamane against C. albicans, especially when the lost/undetected metabolites are involved in fungal survival and pathogenicity. Java. The quality of ebi fry products is largely determined by the quality management of the company, one of it is the determination and application of the Critical Control Point (CCP). The purpose of this study is to determine the determination of CCP and the problems that occur in the application of CCP in the production of ebi fry at PT. Jala Sembilan Semarang, Central Java. This Field Work Practice is carried out at PT. Jala Sembilan which is located at Jalan Tugu Industri IV No. 3, Randu Garut, Tugu District, Semarang City, Central Java on December 30, 2019 to January 23, 2020. The working method used is a descriptive method with data collection including primary data and secondary data. Data collection can be done by means of active participation, observation, interviews, and literature review. Determination of CCP is done after analyzing the hazards in each production process flow. Ebi fry production at PT. Jala Sembilan has 2 CCPs, namely on package receiving and metal detecting. The application of CCP on the receipt of ebi fry packaging has been carried out by checking allergen labels. The application of CCP in metal detecting has encountered problems, namely the metal detector machine that has interference and is not sensitive so that every time the product is passed the alarm is always on.

COVID-19 merupakan virus baru yang masih terus dipelajari oleh para ahli. Perawat merupakan tenaga kesehatan yang paling sering dan paling lama kontak dengan pasien di Rumah Sakit. Pada penelitian sebelumnya diketahui tingkat pengetahuan petugas kesehatan tentang COVID-19 berada pada tingkat menengah, dan terdapat 65,6% tenaga kesehatan memiliki gejala kecemasan sedang dan berat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu rumah sakit swasta Bandung dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 296 orang perawat. Cara pengambilan sampel dengan cara simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Uji korelasi tingkat pengetahuan tentang COVID-19 dengan tingkat kecemasan perawat menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman rho memiliki p value 0.054. Rata-rata tingkat pengetahuan perawat sebesar 11,93, mendekati skor maximal 13, rata-rata tingkat kecemasan perawat sebesar 21,22 mendekati nilai maximal yaitu 36. Kesimpulan: tidak ada korelasi antara tingkat pengetahuan tentang COVID-19 dengan tingkat kecemasan perawat pada masa pandemi. Saran: perlu dilakukannya konseling pada perawat yang mengalami kecemasan untuk mengurangi tingkat kecemasan.

Summary: Induction of endogenous regenerative capacity has emerged as one promising approach to repair damaged hearts following myocardial infarction (MI). Re-expression of factors that are exclusively expressed during embryonic development may reactivate the ability of adult cardiomyocytes to regenerate. Here, we identified miR-411 as a potent inducer of cardiomyocyte proliferation. Overexpression of miR-411 in the heart significantly increased cardiomyocyte proliferation and survival in a model MI. We found that miR-411 enhances the activity of YAP, the main downstream effector of the Hippo pathway, in cardiomyocytes. In conclusion, miR-411 induces cardiomyocyte regeneration and improves cardiac function post-MI likely by modulating the Hippo/YAP pathway.

Background: PPHN of infants are severe cases because the rate of disability and death in infants is relatively high, reaching around 10-20% of cases. Therefore, prompt, accurate, and rational management is needed to reduce cases number of records and deaths. The incidence of PPHN is 2-6 out of 1000 live births; in Surabaya, the incidence was 42 babies per 1000 live births from April to September 2017. Dobutamine is an effective therapy that can support good morbidity and mortality. Therefore, therapeutic options in infants with PPHN in the form of dobutamine are often used. Objective: To determine the effect of dobutamine administration on oxygen saturation in infants with persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn (PPHN) Method: A cross-sectional design with a consecutive sampling of 50 infants with PPHN who received dobutamine therapy at the Hospital of Siti Khodijah Muhammadiyah Sepanjang. Data collection using medical records. Results: The average increase in oxygen saturation before and after being given dobutamine was 36.0%. No difference in the increase in oxygen saturation based on the duration of dobutamine administration. The dobutamine dose's effect on the oxygen saturation increase in infants with PPHN. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate a significant effect of dobutamine administration on increasing oxygen saturation in PPHN infants.

The continued use of contraception has an effect on the effectiveness of a contraceptive method to prevent the occurrence of an unwanted pregnancy. The purpose of this study is to find the association of the incidence of contraceptive discontinuation in women of 15-49 years of age in Bengkulu Province. While the benefits of this study specifically for the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) are to overcome the problems associated with Population, Family Planning and Family Development (KKBPK) for the discontinuation of contraceptive use in WUS in Family Planning in Bengkulu Province. This study uses a cross-sectional design using secondary data from the 2017 IDHS data on respondents of Fertile Age Women, and the results of the data analyzed using the SPSS program with the Univariate, Bivariate Chi-Square test. The results of this study found that WUS who discontinued using contraceptives were 89 people (33.8%), with the reason that the dominant husband opposed 85 people (32.3%) and health problems as many as 44 people (16.7%). Most were 15-35 years old and high school graduates, most worked and lived in the village. There is no relationship between age (p value 0.420), education (p value 0.304), employment (p value 0.275), area of residence (p value 0.714) and wealth index (economy) (p value 0.232) with the incidence of contraceptive use in Fertile Age Women Bengkulu Province. Factors of age, education, occupation, area of residence and wealth index (economy) impact the incidence of dropping out of contraceptive use in women of childbearing age.

Avicennia marina is a plant that is commonly found in coastal areas. Avicennia marina fruit is known to have high carbohydrate and crude fiber content so that it has great potential as an alternative food ingredient that is able to meet the nutritional needs of the body. The purpose of the study was to of Avicennia marina fruit flour on the quality of crackers and its effect on the crude fiber content of crackers and to determine the best formulation for substitution of Avicennia marina fruit flour on crackers. The research uses experimental method with 5 different substitution treatments (0, 25, 30, 35 and 40%). Parameters observed were water content, ash content, protein content, crude fiber, hardness, organoleptic and yield content. The results showed that the best treatment was found in the substitution treatment of 25% Avicennia marina fruit flour with a moisture content, ash, protein, crude fiber, hardness of texture and yield are 3.18%, 2.56%, 6.75%, 3.39%, 42.18 N and 67.62%, respectively. The organoleptic results of the best treatment showed that organoleptic values included texture, taste, flavor and color are accepted by the panelists.

The increased demand for red bricks or concrete bricks has resulted from the increase in house construction. Meanwhile, raw materials for making red bricks are becoming limited. As a result, alternative materials are required in the production of concrete bricks. On the other hand, even more plastic disposed of in landfills and cannot be recycled. As a consequence, the use of plastic waste is assumed to be a solution to the problem of plastic waste including the availability of raw materials for making concrete bricks. This research used artificial aggregate of plastic recycle (LDPE) which derived from cap bottle or plastic bag. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of plastic aggregate utilizing on the brick. The testing were compressive strength, density and permeability as SNI 03-0349-1989 about brick. The bricks in the research used plastic aggregated which the maximum diameter was 4 mm. The percentages of plastic aggregate are between 5% until 25% as replacement of sand. The results show 50 kg/cm² of the maximum compressive strength, 1667 gr/cm3 for density and 10% for water absorption. Based on SNI 03-0349-1989, the brick in this research was the brick with class III.

Background and aim: Plantago major has long been used for medical purposes in Indonesia. However, reports on the anti-arthritic activities of P. major are limited. Experimental procedure: The anti-arthritic properties of an n-hexane-insoluble fraction of dichloromethane extracts of P. major (IPM) were evaluated using Complete Freund's Adjuvant (CFA)-induced arthritis induced in female Wistar rat by CFA. Diclofenac was used as a positive control. The volume of paw oedema, white blood cell count, lymphocytes, neutrophils, expression of TNF-α and Interleukin-6 and the histopathological features of the joint tissues were assessed to characterise IPM activity. Results: The IPM extract at doses of 280 and 420 mg/kg BW and diclofenac inhibited paw oedema by 15.70 %, 15.94 % and 19.71 % respectively. IPM also reduced the incidence of arthritis and arthritic index. Unlike untreated rats, animals treated with IPM showed a significant decrease in the number of neutrophils and decreased expression of TNF-α and Interleukin-6. Histopathological examination showed a reduction in the number of inflammatory cells and hyperplasia of the synovium after IPM treatment. Conclusion: This study showed that P. major displays anti-rheumatoid arthritis activity.
