The article deals with the issues of rehabilitation of psychosomaticdisorders related to the border area of medicine and clinical psychology.Psychosomatic disorder, as an object of study, is one of the most controversialcategories, both in medicine and in psychology. Being in an interdisciplinarydiscourse, at the intersection of psychology and medicine, psychosomatics suggeststhat the issues of treatment and rehabilitation of psychosomatic patients shouldbe addressed in an interdisciplinary field, but standards and protocols for thepsychological component of rehabilitation in psychosomatic practice have not yetbeen developed. There are three main areas of rehabilitation work: restorative,compensatory, adaptive. The lack of a generally accepted understanding ofthe targets of rehabilitation measures at various stages of the rehabilitationprocess of psychosomatic patients, the lack of consideration of a broad medicaland psychological context, various complexes of etiopathogenetic factors in thedevelopment of rehabilitation measures are shown.
