In Latin America, education has had very noticeable gaps due to the pandemic, public educational policies have not been adequately implemented, therefore, the purpose is to systematically map and analyze the academic contributions of scientific articles on public educational policies. in Latin America of the seven countries that cover the years 2019 to 2024. It is essential to know the problems and challenges of education in Latin America. Regarding the methodology, it was developed based on the PRISMA guidelines. Regarding the results obtained, we worked with the Scopus and Scielo database, the search was carried out from October 1, 2023 to February 20, 2024. The results obtained indicate that educational policies must be improved. The research was developed based on the four categories: the educational system, inclusion, equality, evaluation and learning strategies. Coming to the conclusion that public educational policies in Latin America are very complex, there is a lot of inequality, human rights are not prioritized, there is also no respect for interculturality, pluralism, there is a lack of implementing evaluation with criteria and improving educational strategies.
