Various educational and creative activities are described as objective facts, so that diversity of them are caught as differences to lose its cultural essence and quality. Scientific expression method for subjective facts such as "poem" "narratives" "present" and so on, is required in so-called the consumption society where desires are stimulated by the technology, and individuals lose the possibility of setting themselves as the subject. In this thesis, concept of "poetic space" is proposed to consider humans as systems rather than things and to describe the "poem" "narratives" and "present" as scientific issue. As forms and functions of living thing are constituted by series of transient states, it can be expressed as a probability in inconsistent relationship. The "poem" "narratives" and "present" are described as a cognitive complementarity movement by not expressing time and distance on the spatial axis, by assuming "retrograde cognition" under stochastic causality in the "poetic space". The "quality" and "culture" for itself are also formed in the complementarity movement, and they are possibly selected because of its "persistence of diversity" regardless of the time direction in the poetic space. 技術が先行して欲望が刺激され、個人が自らを主体として打ち立てる可能性を喪失している消費社会において、詩、物語、今、、などの主観的事実を基盤とした様々な教育・創造活動の科学的な記述が求められている。しかし時空概念を基盤とした記述では、ヒトがモノの関係として規定されることによって、多様性が差異として捉えられ、その文化的、質的な本質が失われてしまう。本論文では、ヒトをモノ化せずに関係性として捉え、「詩」「物語」そうして「今」にかかわる問題を、自然科学的に記述するための「詩的空間」を提案する。過渡的な状態の連続によって構成されているイキモノや社会の形態や機能は、お互いに矛盾する概念の間の確率的な関係性として定量的に記述することが可能である。また、空間軸に時間及び距離を設定せず、さらに因果律下に時間逆行性認知を仮定することによって、「詩」「物語」や「今」を、指示表出⇔自己表出、または、見られる⇔みる、といった認知の相補的な動きとして記述することが可能である。詩的空間内においては、「質」や「文化」が同じく相補的な動きとして対自的に記述されるため、たとえば多様性の持続によって質の高い文化の存在確率が上昇し、システムとして選択される可能性なども論議され得る。（参考動画（京都大学 オープンコースウェアー公開講義：「矛盾をはらんだ創造」）http://ocw.kyoto-u.ac.jp/ja/opencourse/149/video04 http://ocw.kyoto-u.ac.jp/ja/opencourse/149/video05 ）

Cartilage regeneration using a fibroin sponge and a stirring chamber was investigated to improve the potential of articular cartilage tissue engineering. Chondrocytes seeded on the fibroin-sponge scaffolds were cultured in the stirring chamber (a bioreactor facilitating mechanical stimulation) for up to 3 weeks. Changes in DNA content, glycosaminoglycan (GAG) amount, integrin subunits alpha5 and beta1 fluorescence intensity, and morphologic appearance, were studied to evaluate tissue maturity. Seeded scaffolds subjected to the stirring chamber demonstrated significant increases in both DNA content (38.9%) and GAG content (54.3%) at day 21 compared to the control group. In addition, the stirring chamber system facilitated a maturation of cartilage tissue showed by histologic examination, after a staining of proteoglycan and type II collagen. Clinical feasibility of the fibroin and stirring chamber system was evaluated using rabbit models with cartilage defect. Large defects on rabbit knee joints were repaired with regenerated cartilage, which resembles hyaline cartilage at 12 weeks after operation. These studies demonstrated the potential of such mechanically stimulated scaffold/cell constructs to support chondrogenesis in vivo.
