Abstract

Amaç: Literatürde, os akromiyale ile rotator manşet patolojisi arasındaki ilişki; yayınlanmış birçok çalışmadaki yetersiz metodlara bağlı henüz tanımlanmamıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, os akromiyale olgularında; rotator manşet yırtık tiplerini, biseps tendonu, bursa ve glenoid labrum patolojilerini MRG ile değerlendirmektir.Gereç ve Yöntem: Os akromiyalesi olan, yaşı 24 ve üzerinde toplam 43 olgu çalışmaya dahil edildi. Olgularaait omuz MR incelemeleri; rotator manşet tendon yırtık tipleri, biseps tendonu, bursalar ve glenoid labrumpatolojileri yönünden değerlendirildi.Bulgular: Os akromiyale sıklığı %2,6 bulundu. Olguların %81,4’ünü bayanlar oluşturdu. Rotator manşet yırtığı 38 (%88,3) hastada tanımlandı. Supraspinatus tendonunun parsiyel kat yırtığı 31 (%72) hastada mevcuttu.Parsiyel kat yırtıklar, 22 (%70) hastada rim-rent şeklinde idi. Supraspinatus tendonunun tam kat yırtığı sadeceyedi (%16) hastada mevcuttu. Subakromiyal ve subkorakoid bursit, sırasıyla 31 (%72) ve 14 (%32) hastadatanımlandı. Biseps tendon patolojisi üç (%7) hastada, labral patoloji ise sadece bir (%2) hastada izlendi.Sonuç: Os akromiyale olgularında, rotator manşet yırtıklarının görülme oranı artmıştır. Çoğu rotator manşetyırtığı supraspinatus tendonu ile ilişkili bulunmuştur ve en sık yırtık tipi parsiyel kat şeklindedir. Biseps tendonu ve glenoid labrum ile ilişkili patolojilerin görülme oranında artış saptanmamıştır., Aim: Because most of the published researches use inadequate methods in literature, the relations betweenos acromiale (OA) and rotator cuff (RC) pathology are not readily defined. The aim of this study was todetermine the pathologies of RC, biceps tendon, bursae and glenoid labrum in OA cases with using magneticresonans imaging (MRI).Material and Method: Forty-three OA patients with age of 24 years and over were included in the study.Shoulder MRI underwent in all patients. MRI exams were evaluated for pathologies of RC tendons, bicepstendon, bursae and glenoid labrum.Results: The frequency of OA was found 2.6%, and 81.4% of patients with OA were female. RC tear wasfound in 38 patients (88.3%). Partial-thickness tear (PTT) of supraspinatus (SS) tendon was present in 31patients (72%). Twenty-two (70%) of PTTs were as rim-rent tear. Full-thickness tear of SS tendon was detected in seven (16%) patients. Subacromial and subcoracoid bursitis were defined in 31 (72%) and 14 (32%)patients, respectively. Biceps tendon pathology was seen in three (7%) cases. Labral pathology was seen onlyin one (2%) case.Conclusion: There is an increased ratio of rotator cuff tears in OA cases. Most of the tears are seen withinthe SS tendon and tear patern is mostly PTT. There is not found an increased ratio of pathologies related tobiceps tendon and glenoid labrum.

20. Morphology of the incisura fibularis in the Turkish population.

Abstract

Aim: Morphology of the distal tibiofibular syndesmosis plays an important role in the pattern of ankle fracture and reduction strategy. This study aimed to describe the normal morphology of the distal tibiofibular syndesmosis in a Turkish population. Materials and Methods: All analyzes were based on 349 computed tomography images, contributed by 265 male and 84 female patients. The following features were measured on axial images: the depth of the incisura fibularis, anterior tibiofibular depth, posterior tibiofibular depth, anterior-posterior length of the fibula, mediolateral width of the fibula, version of the incisura fibularis, anterior tubercle length, posterior tubercle length, and tibiofibular engagement. All measure ts were performed by an orthopedic surgeon and an experienced musculoskeletal radiologist, repeated at a 2-week interval. Results: The most common morphology of the incisura fibularis was concave (C-shape, depth >4 mm, 66.5%), followed by a shallow morphology (I-shape, depth <4 mm, 18.3%), and r-shape (15.2%). Significant between-sex differences were identified for depth of the incisura fibularis, posterior tibiofibular depth, anterior-posterior length of fibula, mediolateral width of the fibula, anterior tubercle length, posterior tubercle length, tibiofibular engagement, and incisura fibularis height. Across the three morphologies (C-, I- and r-shape), there was a significant difference in the anterior tibiofibular depth, anterior-posterior length of the fibula, degree of retroversion of the incisura fibularis, and extent of tibiofibular engagement (p<0.001). Conclusions: Knowledge of the variability in the morphology and measurements of the features of the incisura fibularis can be useful in the diagnosis of syndesmosis injury and lowering the risk of malreduction during surgery of ankle fractures among Turkish individuals. Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmada; nasoenterik tüpün (NET) postpilorik alana geçtiğinin tespitinde ultrasonografinin (USG) başarı oranını sap- tamak ve bu yöntemi tüpün lokalizasyonu için yaygın kullanılan direkt batın grafisi ile karşılaştırmayı amaçladık. Yöntemler: NET bir anestezist tarafından yerleştirildi. İki radyo- log tarafından USG ile görüntülendi. Tüm hastalarda tüpün loka- lizasyonu abdominal grafi ile doğrulandı. Bulgular: Otuz dört hastaya NET yerleştirmek için yatakbaşı kör yöntem kullanıldı. NET'lerin 11'inin USG ile postpilorik alana geçtiği USG ile tespit edildi. Bir hastada NET lokalizasyonunun ultrasonografi ile postpilorik görülemedi, fakat kontrol batın gra- fisinde postpilorik alanda olduğu tespit edildi. Yirmiiki hastada, NET'lerin kontrol batın grafilerinde midede oldukları saptandı. USG ile postpilorik görüntüleyebilme oranımız %91,6 olarak saptandı. Tüm vakalar düşünüldüğünde, USG ile katater lokali- zasyonunu doğrulama oranı %97 olarak saptandı (34 hastada 33). Sonuç: USG; nasogastrik tüp ve NET lokalizasyonu için kullanı- lan radyografiye, güvenilir, pratik bir alternatif yöntemdir Objective: In this study, we aimed to determine the success rate of nasoenteric tube (NET) insertion into the postpyloric area using ultrasonography (USG) and compare with the commonly used method direct abdominal graphy. Methods: A single anaesthesiologist placed all the NETs. The NET was visualised by two radiologists simultaneously using USG. The localisation of the tube was confirmed using an ab- dominal graph in all patients. Results: The blind bedside method was used for NET insertion into 34 patients. Eleven of the tubes were detected passing through the postpyloric area using USG. In one case, the NET could not be visualised in the postpyloric area using USG; however, it was detected in the postpyloric area through control abdominal radi- ography. In 22 patients, NETs were detected in the stomach using control abdominal radiography. The rate of imaging post pyloric using USG was 91.6%. When all cases were considered, catheter localisation was detected accurately using USG by 97% (33 in 34 patients). Conclusion: USG is a reliable and practical alternative to radiog- raphy, which can be used to detect localisation of the nasogastric tube and NET.

22. Chitotriosidase as a novel biomarker of early atherosclerosis in hemodialysis patients

Abstract

WOS: 000393616400011 PubMed ID: 27378685 Introduction: Increasing evidence suggests that inflammation and increased macrophage activity have a central role in pathogenesis of atherosclerosis. It is shown that chitotriosidase (CHIT-1) is a marker of macrophage activity in atherosclerotic plaque, and is found associated with severity of atherosclerotic lesion. There is no data about CHIT-1 activity of hemodialysis patients in the literature. Thus, we hypothesized that in hemodialysis patients, CHIT-1 levels might be a novel biomarker in early atherosclerosis. Methods: Forty-five hemodialysis patients were included in the study (age: 61.93 +/- 613.34). Intima media thickness (IMT) was evaluated with high-resolution B-mode ultrasonography. Biomarker levels were measured in serum of patients. Findings: We found positive correlation among IMT, age (R: 0.426, P: 0.004) and, CHIT-1 value (R: 0.462, P: 0.001) in spearman correlation analysis. When age, CRP, creatinine, P, Alb, CHIT-1 were chosen as measures that can effect IMT in multiple regression model, IMT level was related with CHIT-1 (Beta: 0,396, P: 0.012) and age (Beta: 0,313 P: 0,048) independently. Discussion: In conclusion, this is the first report showing that serum CHIT-1 level was related independently with carotid IMT in hemodialysis patients. This biomarker might have an unknown role in the development of atherosclerosis during uremia. Abstract

AMAÇ: Eritrosit dağılım genişliği (RDW) rutin olarak tam kan sayımından elde edilen bir parametredir. Son yıllarda yapılan çalışmalarda kardiyovasküler hastalığı olanlarda ve sağlıklı gönüllülerde RDW'nin kardiyovasküler hastalıklarla ilişkili olduğu gösterilmiştir. Böbrek yetmezliği hastalarında RDW ile ilgili yeterli çalışma yoktur. Biz kronik böbrek yetmezliği hastalarında RDW'nin aterosklerozun bir ön göstergesi olan karotis intima media kalınlığı (IMK) ile ilişkisini araştırdık.GEREÇ ve yÖNTEMLER: 30 sağlıklı kontrol, 30 kronik böbrek yetmezliği hastası, 37 hemodiyaliz hastası çalışmaya alındı. Hastaların ultrasonografik yöntem ile IMK değerleri ölçüldü. BULGULAR: CRP (p0,039), hemoglobin (p0,001), IMK (p0,001), RDW(p0,001), üre (p0,001), kreatinin (p0,001), albumin (p0,001), ürik asit (p0,001) ve ferritin (p0,001) değerlerinde her üç grup arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık tespit edildi. Posthok analizde IMK değeri prediyaliz grubunda (p0,001) ve hemodiyaliz grubunda (p0,001) sağlıklı kontrollere göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı yüksek tespit edildi. Hemodiyaliz ve prediyaliz gruplarının ortalama IMK değerleri arasında istatistiksel farklılık tespit edilmedi (p:0,988). RDW değeri hemodiyaliz grubunda control grubuna (p:0,046) ve prediyaliz grubuna (p:0,03) göre yüksek saptandı. RDW değeri prediyaliz grubunda control grubuna göre istatistiksel anlalmlılık sınırına yakın yüksek tespit edildi (p: 0,067). RDW değeri IMK (r: 0,356 P: 0,012 ) ve CRP (r: 0,361 P: 0,004 ) ile pozitif korelasyon, gösterdi.SONUÇ: Kronik böbrek yetmezliği hastalarında RDW inflamasyon ve intima media kalınlığı ile ilişkilidir., OBJECTIVE: Red-cell distribution width (RDW) is a parameter routinely used for diagnosis of different anemia types. Recent studies have shown the RDW relationship with mortality in general population and patients with cardiovascular disease. However, the number of studies on RDW in chronic kidney disease (CKD) is insufficient. We evaluated the relationship between RDW and carotid intima media thickness (IMT), which is a predictor of atherosclerosis, in patients with CKD.MATERIAL and METHODS: 30 healthy controls, 30 patients with CKD, 37 hemodialysis patients were included. IMT was measured with ultrasonography. RESULTS: We identified statistically significant differences in CRP (p: 0.039), hemoglobin (p>0.001), IMK (p>0.001), RDW (p>0.001), urea (p>0.001), creatinine (p>0.001), albumin (p>0.001), uric acid (p>0.001) and ferritin (p>0.001) levels among three groups. In post hoc analysis, the IMK value was statistically significantly higher in the predialysis (p>0.001) and hemodialysis group than healthy controls. IMK value was not statistically different in the hemodialysis group than the predialysis group (p: 0.988). The RDW value was higher in the predialysis group than controls with a trend to statistical significance (p: 0.067). RDW value showed positive correlation with IMK (r: 0.356 P: 0.012) and CRP (r: 0.361 P: 0.004). CONCLUSION: RDW is associated with inflammation and intima media thickness in patients with CKD.

Abstract

The pancreas usually develops from the fusion of the dorsal and ventral pancreatic buds between the first 4-8 weeks of embryonic life. Annular pancreas consists of a ring of pancreatic tissue, which partially or completely surrounds the descending portion of the duodenum. Annular pancreas is an uncommon congenital anomaly. The etiology of this anomaly is still unknown. It has been associated with other congenital anomalies and various clinical symptoms. The nutcracker phenomenon is defined as compression of the left renal vein between the aorta and superior mesenteric artery. We report the case of a 54-year-old patient who presented with a 15-day history of nausea and vomiting associated with weight loss. On magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) and computer tomography (CT) examination, an annular pancreas and nutcracker syndrome were diagnosed, respectively. In this study, we founded that the radiologic and clinical findings of associated annular pancreas with nutcracker syndrome may be of clinical importance for surgical procedures., Pancreas genellikle embriyolojik hayatın ilk 4-8 haftaları arasında dorsal ve ventral pankreas tomurcuklarının birleşmesinden gelişir. Anüler pancreas, pancreas dokusunun pars descendens duodeni\'yi kısmi ya da tamamen halka şeklinde sarmasıyla oluşur. Anüler pancreas yaygın olmayan bir konjenital anomalidir. Bu anomalinin etyolojisi hala bilinmemektedir. Bu anomali, diğer konjenital anomaliler ve çeşitli klinik semptomlarla birliktelik gösterebilmektedir. Nutcracker fenomeni, v.renalis sinistra\'nın aorta abdominalis ile a.mesenterica superior arasında sıkışması olarak tanımlanır. 15 gündür bulantı ve kusma ile birlikte kilo kaybı olan 54 yaşında bir hastanın olgusunu bildirdik. MRKP (Manyetik rezonans kolanjiopankreatografi) ve BT (bilgisayarlı tomografi) incelemelerinde anüler pancreas ve nutcracker sendromu tanısı konuldu. Biz bu çalışmada, radyolojik ve klinik olarak anüler pankreas ile nutcracker sendromunun birlikteliğininin cerrahi girişimler için klinik açıdan önemli olabileceğini gösterdik.

28. Sex and side differences of three-dimensional Glenoid anthropometric parameters in a normal Turkish population.

Abstract

Aim: Due to anatomical differences, current baseplate designs may lead to incompatibilities in reverse shoulder arthroplasty in different populations. We hypothesized that glenoid anthropometric parameters in Turkish subjects would be different from that in other populations. Materials and Methods: Three-dimensional morphology of 200 healthy Turkish shoulders (100 male and 100 females, 93 left and 107 right shoulders) was evaluated. Glenoid height, width, version, inclination, circumference, and surface area; glenoid depth, scapular neck length, and scapular neck angle were measured. Sex and side differences were assessed. The correlation between glenoid morphologic parameters and subject height was assessed. The height corresponding to a 25-mm glenoid width was predicted. Results: There was a significant difference between male and female subjects regarding glenoid height, width, version, depth, circumference, surface area, and patient height (p<0.05). Also, there was a significant difference between right and left shoulders regarding glenoid height, glenoid width, glenoid version, glenoid surface area, superior depth, central depth, and inferior depth measurements (p<0.05). The glenoid height, width, retroversion, depth, circumference and surface area was well correlated with subject height. The estimated body height value to be obtained for a 25 mm glenoid width value was calculated as 164.4 cm. Conclusion: Our results would be useful in patient selection, preoperative planning, determining the appropriate glenosphere sizes and glenoid component placement. The values of measurement parameters in this study may serve as reference values for normal Turkish population and may be helpful in the comparisons with other populations and osteoarthritic glenoids. 29. Evaluation of anterior intermeniscal ligament in discoid lateral meniscus cases and presenting the accompanying meniscal pathologies with MRI.

Abstract

Background: Although several studies were conducted to put forth the biomechanical function of anterior intermeniscal ligament (AIML) on the stability of meniscal structures, there are few data on the etiology of the early degeneration of discoid type compared to the normal shaped ones.Purpose: To determine the AIML subtypes and accompanying meniscal pathologies in discoid lateral menisci (DLM) on knee MRI exams.Material and Methods: Knee MRI exams of 171 individuals with DLM were reviewed. DLMs and AIMLs were typed according to Watanabe's classification and Nelson-Laprade classification, respectively. Medial and lateral menisci were evaluated for tear and menisco-capsular pathology. Pearson's correlation test was used for statistical analysis.Results: DLM was type I in 83 (48.5%) individuals and type II in 88 (51.5%) individuals. AIML was absent in 90 (52.6%) participants; type I AIML was seen in 38 out 81 (22.2%), type II in 31 out of 81(18.1%), and type III in 12 out of 81 (7%). Meniscal pathology was observed in 56 (32.7%) individuals as follows: menisco-capsular strain/separation in 25 (14.6%); medial meniscal tear in 22 (12.8%); and lateral meniscal tear in nine (5.2%); Of these 56 cases, 26 (46%) had no AIML, 15 cases (27%) had type I, nine cases (16%) had type II, and six cases (11%) had type III AIML.Conclusion: No statistically significant correlation was found between the type of DLM and type of AIML ( P = 0.855), between the type of DLM and meniscal pathology ( P = 0.791), or between the type of AIML and meniscal pathology ( P = 0.282). Abstract

Amaç: Malign biliyer obstrüksiyonu olan olgularda kullanılan 8F ve 10F çaptaki biliyer direnaj katetelerin etkinliklerini ve komplikasyon oranlarını araştırmak.Gereç ve yöntem: Ekim 2010 ve Şubat 2012 tarihleri arasında Girişimsel Radyoloji Ünitesine biliyer obstrüksiyon nedeniyle gönderilen olgular değerlendirildi. 8F veya 10F biliyer direnaj kateteri randomize olarak kullanıldı. Total bilirübin, direkt bilirübin, AST, ALT, GGT, ALP ve amilaz değerleri işlem öncesinde ve takip eden 5 gün boyunca çalışılarak kaydedildi. Olgular komplikasyon açısından takip edildi. Kateter kontrolleri skopi altında 3. veya 4. günlerde yapıldı. Kontrol ultrasonografi işlem sonrası 4. veya 5. günde yapıldı.Bulgular: Çalışmaya 54 olgu dahil edildi. Olguların 27'sine 8F, diğer 27'sine 10F kateter yerleştirildi. 8F kateter grubunda olguların 18'i erkek 9'u kadın olup ortalama yaş 66, 2±11 (47-92) idi. 10F kateter grubunda olguların 20'si erkek 7'si kadın olup ortalama yaş 64,7±9 (42-87) idi. İki grup arasında yaş ve cinsiyet açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark yoktu (p?0, 05). Direnaj sonrasında total bilirübin, direkt bilirübin, AST, ALT, GGT ve ALP her iki grupta işlem öncesine göre istatistiksel anlamlı düşüş göstermekteydi. AST, ALT, GGT ve ALP değerlerindeki düşüş her iki grup arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık göstermemekteydi. Total bilirübin ve direkt bilirübin değerlerindeki düşüş 4. günden sonra 10F kateter grubu lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlıydı (p?0,05). Drenaj sonrası amilaz değerlerindeki artış 10F kateter grubunda istatistiksel olarak anlamlı (p?0,05) iken 8F kateter grubunda anlamlı olarak saptanmadı. İşlem sonrasında amilaz değerleri 10F kateterde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı artış göstermektedir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Biliyer, Direnaj, Kateter, Perkütanöz, 10F, 8F Aim: To evaluate the effectiveness and complication rates of 8F and 10F biliary drainage catheters for patients with malign biliary obstuctions.Material and Methods: Patients who were referred to the interventional radiology department for biliary obstruction between october 2010 and february 2012 were evaluated. 8F and 10F catheters were randomly used. Total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, AST, ALT, GGT, ALP, amylase values were evaluated before the procedure and the following five days. The patients were observed for complications. Catheter controls were performed flouroscopically at third or fourth days. Control ultrasound was performed on fourth or fifth days.Results: 54 patients were included into the study. Drainage was performed with 8F catheters for 27 patients and 10 F catheters for the remaining 27 patients. There were 18 men and 9 women in 8F group whose age was 66, 2±11 (47 to 92 ) years, whereas in 10F group there were 20 men and 7 women whose age was 64,7±9 (42 to87 ) years. The age and gender of both groups were not statistically different (p?0,05). After drainage there was statistically significant decrease in total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, AST, ALT, GGT, and ALP levels for both groups. When both groups were compared the decrease in AST, ALT, GGT ve ALP levels were not statistically different, whereas the decrease level of direct and total bilirubin was statistically different after the fourth day for 10F drainage catheter (p?0,05). Post-drainage amylase value increase was statistically significant for 10F catheter group (p?0,05); Whereas for 8F catheter group it was not significant . The complication rate was lower in 10F group but this was not statistically significant.Conclusion: Bilirubin level decrease is better with 10F catheters compared to 8F catheters. Abstract

Objective: Taekwondo is a moral sport that is based on mental and spiritual skills, provides physical and spiritual development and appeals to people of all ages, as well as a sport that requires physical strength in which all body muscles can be used. For this reason, taekwondo allows to examine the changes in the morphological structure of the brain of physical exercise. In the present study, it is aimed to determine the effect of taekwondo sport on the morphological structure of the brain by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Methods: In this study, MRI was performed on 15 athletes, including sedentary individuals, amateur and elite taekwondo athletes. Acquired images using MriCloud and ROIEditor programs with substantia gricea (SG) and substantia alba (SA) and gyrus precentralis, tr.corticospinalis (TrC), nuclei basales (NB), gyrus postcentralis (GPo) volumes and the ratios of these volumes to total brain volumes (TBV) were calculated. Results: With the obtained data, it was determined that the elite taekwondo athletes had higher right GPo and TBH and SG volumes of both groups of athletes compared to sedentary individuals. In addition, when the ratio of SG and SA volume to TBV was examined, it was determined that there were significant differences in amateur athletes compared to sedentary individuals. Considering the ratio of brain segment volume to TBV, it was determined that there was a difference between left TrC, right GPo in elite taekwondo athletes, and left GPo between both groups of athletes and sedentary individuals. Conclusion: Our study will contribute to a growing literature on the benefits of physical exercise training on brain development. Abstract

The pancreas usually develops from the fusion of the dorsal and ventral pancreatic buds between the first 4-8 weeks of embryonic life. Annular pancreas consists of a ring of pancreatic tissue, which partially or completely surrounds the descending portion of the duodenum. Annular pancreas is an uncommon congenital anomaly. The etiology of this anomaly is still unknown. It has been associated with other congenital anomalies and various clinical symptoms. The nutcracker phenomenon is defined as compression of the left renal vein between the aorta and superior mesenteric artery. We report the case of a 54-year-old patient who presented with a 15-day history of nausea and vomiting associated with weight loss. On magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) and computer tomography (CT) examination, an annular pancreas and nutcracker syndrome were diagnosed, respectively. In this study, we founded that the radiologic and clinical findings of associated annular pancreas with nutcracker syndrome may be of clinical importance for surgical procedures. 43. Intrapancreatic Accessory Spleen Diagnosed by Size Reduction after Immunosuppressive Therapy: A Case Report.

Abstract

Background: Intrapancreatic accessory spleen (IPAS) is a congenital entity that can be confused with malignant distal pancreatic masses. Radiologic imaging and radionuclide imaging have an important place in the diagnosis of IPAS., Case Report: Blood tests were performed on a 36-year-old female patient who presented with tachypnea, tachycardia, pain in the joints, and pain in the left abdominal quadrant. Laboratory test results were as follows: hemoglobin value 6.0 mg/dl, sedimentation 120, aspartate transaminase (AST) 150U/L, and alanine transaminase level (ALT) 110U/ L. Additional laboratory tests and ultrasonography were performed. The anti-double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) level was 800 IU/ml. C3 and C4 values were both 0.64 IU/ml, with anti-Ro-52 +++(three positive) and anti-Ro-60 ++ (two positive). A clinical diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) was made. Ultrasonography and dynamic contrast-enhanced upper abdominal MRI showed lesions suggestive of multiple hemangiomas in the liver and a 29x18 mm lesion in the tail of the pancreas with a similar appearance as the spleen. SLE treatment was started. Scintigraphy was recommended for the diagnosis of IPAS. Scintigraphy was performed in the third week of the treatment. Uptake was not observed. In the second month of the treatment, a control upper abdominal MRI was performed, and a decrease in the size of the lesion was observed., Conclusion: IPAS can be confused with pancreatic masses. Lack of uptake in scintigraphy may be due to treatment protocols that produce low phagocytic activity.
