This study adopts a qualitative research design aiming at investigating the perceptions of English language teachers about creative thinking skills in their courses. Six teachers working at the School of Foreign Languages at a state university participated in this study. They had similar educational backgrounds and different years of experience. In terms of teaching English, participants were interviewed in-depth about the conceptualization of creative thinking skills. The purpose of the study was to identify teachers' perspectives and their ways of implementing sub-dimensions of creative thinking in both face-to-face and online lessons. Semi-structured interview questions were used to collect data in the study and the data were analysed through content analysis method using NVivo 12. The findings of the research are grouped under the following headings: Barriers to Creating a Thinking Class Environment, Existing Supporters, and Defining the Concept. Results revealed that the teachers have defined the ability to think creatively considering the basic perception they had about the concept which is mainly creating new products. It is also understood that they evaluated the concept and associated the sub-dimensions accordingly. It can be inferred that a deeper understanding and well-organized teaching of creative thinking skills are required to be blended into the foreign language education. This study aims to determine novice teachers' classrom management self efficacy beliefs as well as the extent to which these beliefs change according to independent variables. This research which aims to determine novice teachers' classroom management self efficacy beliefs is a survey type research. The participants of the study are 85 novice teachers on duty in their first year in Hatay Province in Turkey. Classroom Management Self-Efficacy Convictions Scale that is internally consistent and valid in measuring classroom management self-efficacy beliefs of prospective teachers devised by Çetin (2013) was used in the study. There is not any statistically significant difference in terms of school of graduation and classroom management efficacy belief and result expectation sub-dimension. There is not any statistically significant difference in classroom management efficacy belief and result expectation sub-dimension. In terms of gender, there is not any statistically significant difference in the result expectation sub-dimension but there is a statistically significant difference in classroom management efficacy belief. Male novice teachers have higher level of classroom management efficacy beliefs than female novice teachers.

This study has been conducted in order to examine the effects of the stories for thinking on 5th graders' reading comprehension and listening comprehension. A pretest-post test control group quasi-experimental design was used in the study. The sample of the etstudy was composed of 74 5th graders attending public elementary schools. The data have been collected by administering the "reading comprehension test" and the "Listening Comprehension Test". While "stories for thinking" was applied to the study group, various activities were applied to the control group. The results of the study showed that there was no evidence that the stories for thinking experience added statistically significant value to the students' reading and listening comprehension in relation to the control group.

This study was conducted in order to examine the effects of the Know-Want-Learn (KWL) strategy on 6th graders' mathematics achievement, metacognitive skills and mathematics anxiety. A pretest-post test control group quasi- experimental design was used in the study. The sample of the study was composed of 55 6th graders attending public elementary schools. The data have been collected by administering the "Math Achievement Test", "Metacognition Inventory" and the "Math Anxiety Scale". The "KWL strategy" was used in teaching mathematics to the study group whereas the control group was taught using the "traditional method". The results of the study showed that employing the "KWL strategy" in 6th grade mathematics can be effective in increasing achievement and metacognition while it was no efficient than the traditional method regarding the reduction of anxiety.
