In this paper, a new type of natural adsorption materials were prepared by spray granulation. The structure and properties of the product were characterized by scanning electron microscope analysis, N2 adsorption desorption analysis, infrared analysis, X ray diffraction analysis, the rmogravimetric analysis. The results showed that: the best preparation conditions of the adsorption materials were as follows: the temperature was 59.21°C, the pressure was 0.28 Bar, and the rate was 14.15 ml/min. In addition, the natural materials had high porosity and specific surface areas , which was better for adsorption. The pore size was mainly concentrated between 13 ~ 28nm. Moreover, these materials had more functional groups. The decomposition temperature was 250°C,which resulted in better thermal stability. Consequently, the materials had better adsorption properties, and the materials will have better application prospect.

Comastomaxanthones A–C ( 1 – 3 ), three new xanthones with a rare 2-oxoprenyl substituent, along with three known ones ( 4 – 6 ) were isolated from the aerial parts of Comastoma pedunculatum . Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including extensive 1D and 2D NMR techniques. In addition, compounds 1 – 6 were tested for their anti-tobacco mosaic virus activity. The results showed that all isolated compounds exhibited weak anti-TMV activity with IC 50 values ranging from 122.7 to 242.9 μM.

Thermal decomposition of -terpinyl--D-glucapyranoside was studied by DTA/SDTG and DSC. The heating rate was 5, 7.5, 10 and 15 K/min, and the samples were heated from the 30 to 500℃, the methods of Friedman and Flynn-Wall-Ozawa were applied to calculate the parameters of thermal degradation. Degradation mechanism was estimated by the methods of Coats-Redfern and Phadnis-Deshpande. TG-DTG curves showed that with the increased heating rate, the mass of -terpinyl--D- glucapyranoside of starting loss T0, the biggest rate of mass loss Tp and final mass loss Tf all have linear increase. So that thermal degradation temperature was mainly influenced by the heating rate B. The DSC curves showed that melting and decomposition proceeded at same time. By Friedman and Flynn-Wall-Ozawa, the activate energy of Ea were 216.63 KJ/mol and 206.18 KJ/mol respectively, with well correlation.

Two new compounds, 19-hydroxy-melodinine K (1) and melodiside (2), and 25 known compounds were isolated from leaves and twigs of Melodinus suaveolens. Their structures were elucidated based on 1- and 2-D NMR, FTIR, UV and MS spectroscopic data. 19-hydroxy-melodinine K showed cytotoxic activity against MDA-MB-231 breast, BCG-823 gastric, SW480 colon and Hela cancer cells.
