Objective To explore the medication rules of patented Chinese medicine compounds for oral administration in treating alopecia areata (AA), and provide reference for the treatment of AA with Chinese medicine and the development of new drugs. Methods The data of patented Chinese medicine compounds for treating AA were searched from the website of China Patent Publication Announcement of the State Intellectual Property Office. Microsoft Excel 2016 software was used to establish a database, and frequency, nature, taste, and meridian tropism statistics were performed. Apriori association rule modeling analysis was conducted. Cytoscape 3.9.1 software was used to construct the core complex network of Chinese medicines. IBM SPSS Statistics 26.0 software was used for systematic cluster analysis of drugs in the core network. Results A total of 134 oral administration compound formulas meeting the requirements were screened, involving 307 Chinese herbs. Among them, the highfrequency Chinese herbs in oral administration compound formulas included Angelica Sinensis(76 times), Radix Rehmanniae Recens (73 times), Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata(48 times), and Ligusticum chuanxiong (47 times). The main effects of drugs were tonification deficiency and blood circulation, and the main nature was warmness. The main tastes were sweet and bitter, and the main meridians were liver, lung, and kidney meridians. The high confidence association rules in compound formulas mainly combined Angelica Sinensis with Radix Rehmanniae Recens, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, etc. Eight new prescriptions were obtained through cluster analysis. Conclusion The national patented Chinese medicine compound oral administration for treating AA mainly focuses on tonifying liver and kidney, supplementing Qi and nourishing blood, combined with promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis, clearing heat, cooling blood, and expelling wind herbs.

Branched-chain amino acid (BCAA) metabolism is linked to glucose homeostasis, but the underlying signaling mechanisms are unclear. We find that gluconeogenesis is reduced in mice deficient of Ppm1k, a positive regulator of BCAA catabolism, which protects against obesity-induced glucose intolerance. Accumulation of branched-chain keto acids (BCKAs) inhibits glucose production in hepatocytes. BCKAs suppress liver mitochondrial pyruvate carrier (MPC) activity and pyruvate-supported respiration. Pyruvate-supported gluconeogenesis is selectively suppressed in Ppm1k-deficient mice and can be restored with pharmacological activation of BCKA catabolism by BT2. Finally, hepatocytes lack branched-chain aminotransferase that alleviates BCKA accumulation via reversible conversion between BCAAs and BCKAs. This renders liver MPC most susceptible to circulating BCKA levels hence a sensor of BCAA catabolism.

This paper first proposes the discourse system of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, which mainly includes discourse goal innovation, discourse structure innovation, discourse paradigm innovation and discourse behavior innovation. Secondly, to facilitate the analysis and comparison of the data set, it is necessary to standardize various data and construct a similar relationship matrix based on the standardized data. Then, the correlation between teachers’ and students’ characteristics is incorporated to cluster the users to derive the user similarity and the final predicted rating of the Civic Education resources. Simulation experiments and statistical analysis validate the Kruskal algorithm-based example study of Civic Education discourse in colleges and universities. The results show that the measures of value perception and discourse power are in a reasonable interval, with a minimum value of 1 and a maximum value of 5, and the mean values are between 3.72 and 4.03, and the standard deviations are all greater than 0.75, reflecting the wide distribution of the samples, indicating that this study can improve the efficiency of the recommendation of Civic Education resources and the accuracy of discourse power analysis.

In order to improve the efficiency and success rate of obstacle avoidance motion planning of industrial manipulator in complex multi scenes, a collision detection model between manipulator and obstacles based on cylinder and sphere bounding box is established, and an improved RRT* algorithm based on heuristic probability fusion artificial potential field method(P-artificial potential field RRT*, PAPF-RRT*) is proposed. The probability target bias and random sampling point optimization strategy are introduced into the sampling, and the location optimization constraints are applied to the sampling points to enhance the sampling guidance and quality. In order to change the expansion direction of the traditional new node and the local optimization problem in special environment, the target gravity, obstacle repulsion and adaptive step size of the artificial potential field method are combined, so that the algorithm can guide the expansion direction and step size of the new node in real time within the resultant force range generated by APF, reducing excessive exploration and the expansion of the collision region. The Cubic B-spline is used to interpolate and optimize the planned path to reduce the complexity of the path and improve the flexibility of the path. The simulation results in two-dimensional and three-dimensional multi scenes show that the present algorithm reduces the average path search time by 31.22% and shortens the path length by 17.32% comparing with the traditional RRT* algorithm. The visual simulation results show that the present algorithm can make the manipulator successfully avoid obstacles and run to the target point quickly and smoothly.

The mammalian heart switches its main metabolic substrate from glucose to fatty acids shortly after birth. This metabolic switch coincides with the loss of regenerative capacity in the heart. However, it is unknown whether glucose metabolism regulates heart regeneration. Here, we report that glucose metabolism is a determinant of regenerative capacity in the neonatal mammalian heart. Cardiac-specific overexpression of Glut1, the embryonic form of constitutively active glucose transporter, resulted in an increase in glucose uptake and concomitant accumulation of glycogen storage in postnatal heart. Upon cryoinjury, Glut1 transgenic hearts showed higher regenerative capacity with less fibrosis than non-transgenic control hearts. Interestingly, flow cytometry analysis revealed two distinct populations of ventricular cardiomyocytes: Tnnt2-high and Tnnt2-low cardiomyocytes, the latter of which showed significantly higher mitotic activity in response to high intracellular glucose in Glut1 transgenic hearts. Metabolic profiling shows that Glut1-transgenic hearts have a significant increase in the glucose metabolites including nucleotides upon injury. Inhibition of the nucleotide biosynthesis abrogated the regenerative advantage of high intra-cardiomyocyte glucose level, suggesting that the glucose enhances the cardiomyocyte regeneration through the supply of nucleotides. Our data suggest that the increase in glucose metabolism promotes cardiac regeneration in neonatal mouse heart.

Abstract Background Streptococcus dysgalactiae subsp. dysgalactiae has been identified as an animal pathogen that is thought to occur only in animal populations. Between 2009 and 2022, humans infected with SDSD were reported rarely. There is a lack of details on the natural history, clinical features, and management of disease caused by this pathogen. This case outlines a human SDSD with muscle aches and progressive loss of muscle strength leading to immobility and multi-organ dysfunction syndrome. Case presentation She presented with muscle pain and weakness, and later developed a sore throat, headache and fever with a maximum temperature of 40.5 °C. The muscle strength of the extremities gradually decreased to grade 1 and the patient was unable to move on his own. Next-generation blood sequencing and multi-culture confirmed the presence of Streptococcus dysgalactiae and Streptococcus dysgalactiae subsp. Dysgalactiae, respectively. A Sequential Organ Failure Assessment score of 6 indicated septicemia, and therapeutic antibiotics were prescribed empirically. After 19 days of inpatient treatment, the patient's condition greatly improved and completely recovered within a month. Conclusion Symptoms of Streptococcus dysgalactiae subsp. dysgalactiae presenting with progressive limb weakness resemble polymyositis, so a precise differential diagnosis is essential. Multidisciplinary consultation is helpful when polymyositis cannot be ruled out and facilitates the choice of an optimal treatment protocol. In the context of this case, penicillin is an effective antibiotic for Streptococcus dysgalactiae subsp. dysgalactiae infection.
